So, it's pretty much all there in the (working) title. Something I've been kicking around for a while is a fellowship of Francophone nations for NS. I think that other than French being the main language of your nation, there doesn't need to be any other restrictive requirements. Any tech, size, ethnicity and culture, economy, etc. should be able to apply.

I don't know exactly what we would accomplish beyond fellowship, so I could definitely use ideas. I thought maybe a social summit RP once in a while. Someone I bounced the idea off of mentioned a sports component. I hope we could make trade pacts or a partnership and possibly a defense alliance or humanitarian aid organization. There's probably a lot we could do, but also a big risk that it ends up being about bragging rights without much more activity. It all depends on those who want to be a part and who will put the energy and time into it.

Well, preferably, but at least a good segment of the population. Enough that the nation in question would want to be part of such an organization, otherwise it wouldn't make much sense.

I have a puppet that has a bilingual majority, one of the two languages being French. Hopefully you won't be too offended by the fact that I don't speak French myself, and thus have to make do with Google Translate.

No, I won't. I don't speak fluent French, either. This is more of an IC organization than about speaking French in OOC conversations.

Id be interested but Im not sure if I meet the qualifications. , my Nation is me to a point in that I am of Canadian french descendant and a Deutschphile meaning Im passionate about German culture as well. I studied both languages in tertiary school/high school.

I definitely love the idea of a Francophone coalition. J'adore français et mes aimes c'etait l'etudier le Francais aussi.

This is more of a IC organization, but also a fraternity/sorority of Francophiles to some degree, as well. Join us on the Discord link I sent you and I can explain it further.

There are several regions that are Francophone or Francophile already. I can direct you to them if you wish. Several players from those regions have expressed interest in joining us. This is an extra-regional organization not meant to supplant regional alliances or canon, but be in addition to them. You can meet plenty of nations and trade embassies with them, whether they have an embassy thread in F&NI, or in some other fashion.

ATTENTION ALL: I am going to cut membership off to those that have at least a 30% Francophone population. I think below that, they can be observer states.
