by Weimar Germany-
Elections are being held in Germany, and all parties are aiming to be at the top.

The 1954 election has been called one of the most influential elections in history seeing the current tense world affairs. The first elections held after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, right-wing parties are expected to gain a large amount of votes, and the DAP's current leader, Karl Donitz, is much more politician like than the former leader, Adolf Hitler, and is expected to gain at the least roughly 6% of the vote.

The currently ruling Zentrum party is not expected to be victorious and to either pave the way for the SPD or the DVP, especially with Konrad Adenauer's age only increasing after his 7 years in office. Franz Blücher has already been gathering the support of farther right-leaning members of the Zentrum party and more moderate members of the DAP. Erich Ollenhauer has been doing the same thing with the KPD and the left-leaning members of the Zentrum party. The vote is expected to be close, and both members from the DVP and the SPD are declaring early victories.
