Indeed it does.
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

You know what's still really fun having alive Ezharans eleven years later dream(?) about their dead siblings & friends, thereby causing a hmm on the entire concept of modern-tech Ezhara & an even bigger hmm on the timeline that merits no questions because it's not meant to be comprehended, or in other words, "it's not magic, it's-don't-question-it-&-we-won't-have-problems." As per the contract, though... Also I'm writing this late at night, exhausted after reciting a project of mine to myself several times, so you might be seeing some questionable content. At this point, do Selkies just give up any pretense or expectation of normalcy when they notice someone who seems vaguely Shwe or Ezharan?& finally, I'll be switching between Shwe & Ezhara depending on who I'm focusing on. Considering the shenanigans last time I ain't entirely certain if this'll go through just because of how borderline MT & amusingly messy this is but if it's a problem just assume it's a bunch of coincidences/mass hysteria or something like that (making this clear in case of stricter MT people coming in, but considering the rule on magic that doesn't seem likely. Plus, I'm here anyway so...)
Anyway the fun family-friendly plan is to have them come in separately, have Raymond find Immature Meats, then Immature Sweetness, then Quon. & then Anthony's going to scream, try to smash Raymond with a spatula, & probably get arrested or mauled by rabid tines, whichever one gets there faster.

Well, as normal as it gets with high and middle schoolers and university age students driving around in tanks, but you guys know, what I mean!
Though thank you for telling me beforehand.
For the record, a spatula does not count as a firearm.

[nods for you are right]
I hope, that you do. You can even bring Tigers and Panthers! ; )Polish Prussian Commonwealth wrote:What about a glue gun?
It has the word 'gun' in its name, so no. ; )
Fun aside, glue guns are alright. As long as you are careful. Though, why would you want to bring a glue gun?
Polish Prussian Commonwealth wrote:Erm, I'll actually be using British equipment. Churchills, a few Cromwells, and a couple of Crusaders. Might also throw in a few tankettes too.
Also, well, I need the glue gun to glue shit.

That's no problem, as long as they are transportable by train.
I would not have guessed. But seriously, wouldn't a welder be more useful when dealing with tanks?

No, fun aside, if your people need any tools for maintenance, I'll handwave them.
aight
also I might have this happen
The Selkie wrote:Good afternoon, everyone!
Day after tomorrow is IC-Day. As outlined in Rule 10, everyone and everything will already be at the Complex, but upon writing about it, it became clear, that it is larger then anticipated. 5 square kilometers (a.k.a. roundabout the area of the Schluchsee in the Hochschwarzwald) are quite something.
So, I would appreciate it, if your characters were already at the Plaza, but that is not mandatory. The tanks for the exhibition at said plaza and for the sportive contests are already at their respective locations, though.
As for housing/where your characters stay, either Fortham, Sail (a village closeby) or, indeed, in the Complex (although that is for the teams and team members) are options.
As always, if you have questions, give me a shout!
mfg,
Selks
P.S.: It might happen, that I will not be available on the 3rd of June, that's my birthday, so please don't worry on Monday or Tuesday.

Are we supposed to have display tanks and tanks to use for the contest? I was thinking of having the tanks first be at the plaza, then transfer them over to any contests that will be occurring, if that's not possible though I could always bring one more Matilda II and one more crusader.

I thought, that some of the six tanks were on display (ideally one of each model), some for the contests (the rest), but if you planned all of your six tanks for the contests, then you can bring one more Matilda II and one more Crusader.
I should have made that clearer... If there will be ever more then one of the Conventions, I am already learning. ; )

Alright, thanks. I'll be sure to keep that in mind, sure might give more ideas for characters to RP as though as one of the crewmen of either display tanks.
