Versus the other members, Anthony is far more secretive about his past & has refused to say anything about it, even to Blozzom as he considers the loss of his twin brother far too tragic to talk about. What is known is that he was the only survivor of a plane crash that had left Ezhara, having been found weeks later next to his brother's charred & cut-up remains. Supposedly, he had perished in a fire while they were together, but Anthony's aversion to the smell & taste of cooked meat — pork especially — make his claims of innocence rather dubious & worrisome. Despite his fear & strict vegetarianism, he is still willing to cook meat for customers, albeit with his nose clogged to prevent him from smelling it. His meat-based meals are said to be of spectacular quality, though he himself is usually seen vomiting shortly after making them. While most artwork involving him feature him looking tired & crazy, he is usually one of the more solemn members of the group & is generally utterly silent when cooking. When he breaks down, though, he often flies into inconsolable fits of madness that can only be remedied with time.

They & their parents were on an outbound flight from Ezhara when their plane suddenly began falling apart in the air, with no obvious cause found; there was evidence of sabotage, birds, lightning, & other such things, with no indication as to which one downed the flight. While most of the passengers immediately perished or drowned shortly after, the Carême brothers were able to land mostly unharmed in the middle of an island, where they found a few other folk that survived for just a bit longer, only to die not long after & thus leave the two brothers on their own. Realizing that they had little chance to survive with what little resources the island had, the two made a pact that, if either of them died, that the other should feel free to eat him in order to ensure that at least one of them would make it through.

As their food & water dwindled, both began to inexorably lose their minds: Alexis often hallucinated seeing their mother with the head of a pig, whereas Anthony began to grow more & more wary of his brother, suspecting him of wanting to kill him with the urging of his dead mother & dying mind. As the former continued to hallucinate & constantly brag about feeling motherly love, Anthony became increasingly furious at the attention that his brother had received throughout his entire life. Now, even on this deserted island & even beyond death, their mother was favoring Alexis, & when the two huddled together to sleep, Alexis mistakenly called Anthony "mom." Suddenly, Anthony's rage exploded, & he lured his brother out of their cave shelter, at which point he dropped a leftover piece of metal from the plane over him. As Anthony rushed down to his dying brother, Alexis apologized & said that he wasn't mad, & his murderer suddenly realized what he had done. However, Alexis then said that they should still keep the pact.

Not willing to be accused of being a murderer, Anthony set fire to the island & roasted his brother among the flames, sobbing to himself as his brother's iconic strawberry aroma overwhelmed him, & soon thereafter he began to eat him. By the time the smoke drifted into the nearest settlement & someone left to find the source, the fire had burned itself out, & the only thing left of Alexis were a few scraps left behind by the catatonic Anthony, though Anthony claimed that his brother had simply been mauled by something & burned by an accidental fire. Despite having been reassured by his brother in their last moments together that it was okay, he believes that he did not deserve to survive, & is frequently haunted by visions of his brother coming back to claim his vengeance. While generally meek, submissive, & flattering with other members of the Garden of Hope, Anthony is rude & inconsiderate to those he does not know in an attempt to avoid connecting with them, thereby avoiding hearing their stories & avoiding the re-ignition of his jealous rage.

In fact, Anthony is one of the most distant members of the Garden of Hope. Even Blozzom has said that she feels that she hardly knows him, though Raymond has had some moderate success in getting him to reveal at least the plane crash. However, Anthony has said no more, having believed that he would be outcasted for his decision.

Their parents: Their father was a kindhearted, but clumsy chef, & their mother was a selfish witch in terms of personality. It was her persuasion that resulted in Alexis & Anthony having less than great childhoods, forcing her husband to overwork himself so that she could enjoy herself. Their children were more so the result of a one-off incident rather than anything permanent.

However, a dinner with Blozzom & Elois was enough to revitalize him & even help him rediscover his passion for music, at which point he pledged his support to her group & became their event planner. As a result of his brother's kidnapping, which happened after Raymond let him leave for Alfons's house rather than stay & wait for him to come back from a party with friends (an Ezharan thing: children are considered fairly independent, so something like this is not nearly as irresponsible as it seems), he is overprotective of others & almost entirely nocturnal, unable to sleep at night out of fear for the rest of the Garden. He instead generally takes naps throughout a day, unless he has an event to manage, in which case he will have a longer session beforehand in order to be as energized as possible.

Quon Fei, known as the "The Voice of the Lion," was a Suzuraigan lad whose singing talents allowed him into the Leonardo Art Academy, alongside his friends Sherry Hu & Anastasia Tiliki. After spending a good semester there, he was targeted by the shadowy group Playwright, who captured him, Sherry, their friend Alfons, & a Suzuraigan boy named Al D'olea. Whereas Sherry was executed promptly by a pyroclastic flow off the edge of the city of Sessenan, Quon & Alfons endured other sorts of mutilation, & Quon, the mighty lion, was silenced. Despite Anastasia's support, Quon was unable to tolerate this, & he eventually committed suicide, leaving behind only Anastasia out of the original three. However, his death was one of the leading factors in Suzurai's decision to betray Playwright, outraged by the deaths of three of their future talents & no longer believing in the Playwright dream.

Quon Fei, known as the "The Voice of the Lion," was a Suzuraigan lad whose singing talents allowed him into the Leonardo Art Academy, alongside his friends Sherry Hu & Anastasia Tiliki. After spending a good semester there, he was targeted by the shadowy group Playwright, who captured him, Sherry, their friend Alfons, & a Suzuraigan boy named Al D'olea. Whereas Sherry was executed promptly by a pyroclastic flow off the edge of the city of Sessenan, Quon & Alfons endured other sorts of mutilation, & Quon, the mighty lion, was silenced. Despite Anastasia's support, Quon was unable to tolerate this, & he eventually committed suicide, leaving behind only Anastasia out of the original three. However, his death was one of the leading factors in Suzurai's decision to betray Playwright, outraged by the deaths of three of their future talents & no longer believing in the Playwright dream.

Or did he? Despite having his own funeral, he has been sighted once in The Selkie, leading his brother Raymond Fei to search for clues...

Their parents: Their father was a renowned opera singer, but would later disappear during the war alongside their mother after what witnesses described as a romantic dinner. Raymond still hopes that they are out their somewhere, but knows that the story of Ezharans rarely seems to end well...

Their grandparents: Maternal grandmother was a former government official, maternal grandfather was a librarian, paternal grandmother was a priestess & singer, & their paternal grandfather was the owner of an osmanthus plantation. Most of them were killed in the destruction of Suzurai after the death of Darius Basho, which was the last straw for Suzurai, which in turn infuriated the city of Odona, which accused Sessenan of killing them for bloodlust; thus began the dissolution of the group to internal squabbles.

Their great-grandparents: The father of their paternal grandmother was a significant singer as expected of the Fei lineage, & though still alive despite the war, he lacks his voice as a result of the Fei family origins, which purportedly traces it back to one of their ancestors releasing a mermaid in exchange for her voice.

So, I would appreciate it, if your characters were already at the Plaza, but that is not mandatory. The tanks for the exhibition at said plaza and for the sportive contests are already at their respective locations, though.
As for housing/where your characters stay, either Fortham, Sail (a village closeby) or, indeed, in the Complex (although that is for the teams and team members) are options.
