The duo are seasoned theater performers, and their performance in Worldvision is set to reflect that. Tonight, 9 songs and 9 artists competed for the right to represent Izmedu in the 74th WorldVision Song Contest. After very intense rounds of close international jury and domestic televoting, a result has been reached in what turned out to be another closely contested and hard-fought Izmepisma. 7 international juries lent their voices to help decide the result and we are proud to announce that the winner of Izmepisma is...

Leonarda Skoric - La kanaisa

Winning by a very close margin of 2 points and with 122 points (50 jury + 72 televote), Leonarda wins the right to represent Izmedu with the song "La kanaisa" (translation: Ashes) in one of the closest Izmepismas in recent memory. Having performed strongly in both constituencies, Leonarda was one of two acts this edition to score 2 sets of 12 points (with all other acts outside of Leonarda and Sabina Vidas receiving either 1 or no sets of 12), and she also had a consistently strong international jury vote that bolstered her performance in the scoreboard. The televote was close, and was won by Leonarda by a margin of only 11,000 votes against the viral and bouncy Puno lita ljubaura. She would receive approximately 211,200 votes from the Izmeduan public (totaling to about 23.8% of the Izmeduan televote). At the advent of winning, Leonarda has confirmed that she is willing to participate in WorldVision and will enter intensive rehearsals in the lead up to the contest.

The runners-up, RENATA/DINO, Olga Antolic, and Ivo Spajic, have indicated an interest in performing in the World Hit Festival or the possibility of being re-invited back for a special Izmepisma edition. They stressed that eventual WorldVision participation is their preference and have told fans and press to await further news from RTI.

Bilal Starts 'Wanted the Tour' Tonight!

Bilal, the Titan representative for WV74, is set to start the promotional world tour regarding the entry "Wanted" today. (6/8) The first leg of tour features six shows in four countries. The tour kicks off at the Platinum Hall in Henium. The date will be followed by the Worldvision performance before continuing to visit two other countries, Wolfrenia and Britonisea.

Regarding his preparation, Bilal told Titan News,

I'm so excited for the tour. It's showcasing who I am through my music. I work very hard at the rehearsal. Expect choreography, staging.
And the leg two will expand to many more cities across the world. So, I am very excited to visit new places.

It has been pointed out that the times listed this edition are 21:00 BST rather than 20:00 BST, the latter being the usual time. We have noted this as a mistake. While host voting will end at 21:00 BST, about 32 hours from now, the other remaining deadlines have been corrected to occur at 20:00 BST.

Rules regarding a tie in host voting allow the committee to make a final decision on who should host. We have come to that decision.
