TÖBUK WorldVision Director Accused of Corruption
STERBLICHENGOKAI- In a shocking turn of events, Kohaku Kalmala was accused of favoritism and bribery in both the selection of the latest Tödlichebujoki WorldVision act[1] and in the voting of the Tödlichebujoki jury, particularly in regards to Izmedu. Sources say that an employee within TÖBUK notified authorities of Kalmala's suspicious activity, and that the broadcaster is now looking into the matter. No plans are currently being made to change the Tödlichebujoki song. Depending on the results of the investigation, however, a shake-up in the broadcaster's hierarchy may be coming.
THIS JUST IN: New information is being released that indicates that Kalmala forced Esvieta Torres to write and perform her song "Kenteemsi" in Taploukki. The song allegedly originally incorporated Lagoês, but Kalmala did not approve it until the Lagoês passages were switched to Taploukki. Will this astonishing news be only the tip of the iceberg?

LAGOA TO ENTER WORLDVISION
With the latest revelations regarding the leadership of TÖBUK's WorldVision department, Matauchana-Toligarso Lagoa (MTL) has announced its intention to enter the song contest as a separate entity representing the semi-autonomous province. Lagoa's entry will be chosen by the new national selection "Múdoreçêiuma74: Você Escolhe", featuring the best of Lagoa's rising stars.
The proper arrangements with TÖBUK and the WBU are being finalized. We will keep you updated on the details as they come.

Ylfa, Talvezout - "Maijta Mayar, the head of Talvezian Radio & Television, has announced that Talvezout will be officially bidding for the chance of hosting Worldvision 74, with the proposed city being Waterloo in the Villalpando District, in Northwestern Talvezout. "We looked all of the host cities - Ylfa, San Marcos, Phoda, Yaru-Bzheriut, Waterloo, and Phenxi - and we felt Waterloo best represented a side of Talvezout that has never really been shown in Worldvision," said Mayar. She also added that the official host bid would be up by sometime this weekend.
Mayar also announced that Lorenzo's entry for Worldvision 74 would be a "modern and theatrical entry, one that will surely entrance people back here in Talvezout, and across the multiverse." Y. R. San, the choreographer and stage designer for Talvezout's last five entries, would be in charge of visualizing Lorenzo's idea on stage. Mayar said that "I have full confidence in Y. R. San, and I believe he will do a great job."

(Please note we are a steampunk nation from the 1800s and as such, all recordings are on gramophones/radio. Please don't penalise us)
Emazia chooses, for the first time, to participate in the Worldvision Song Contest, in order to craft an international image. After several entries (some of which included entries which were higher-quality but too inflammatory, particularly the official entries of the fascist and socialist parties of Emazia (see bottom), and so were discarded), the March of the 9th Brigade, made by the retired veteran Charles Vanhurt. People expect a massive show of Emazian military might to accompany it, with the focus being on the visuals rather than lyrics.
"At the Gates of the Reds", to the tune of Horst Wessel Lied]We march, we march to the humming tune.
Emazia, united towards freedom!
Destroy the socialist and the black man,
Free our nation,
Which has been scourged so long,
Kill the sickly guard,
Of degeneracy and barbarcy.
Free Emazia,
From the communist hordes rising,
Rise ye soldiers,
Break upon a new dawn,
Shatter the enemy,
And break towards a bright future,
Kill the men,
Oh Emazia, fight for freedom!
This battle, grim and dark
Shall be won
By true spirit,
And Emazian might and will,
Shatter the iron gate of red banners,
Rise through the dawn
To win freedom once more!
We will triumph,
Against the red enemy,
For Emazian freedom,
We fight to the death!
God Bless Emazia,
And all her children in the dark,
Rise to the march,
For your heart is beating,
Destroy the reds and free our souls once more!
Urge to win,
For a new dawn appears!
God Bless Emazia,
And all her children in the dark,
Rise to the march,
For your heart is beating.
Rise to the march,
For your heart is beating,
Destroy the reds and free our souls once more!
For a new dawn appears!
God Bless Emazia!
A war we shall win against the reds!
For we are triumphant
And so, we shall win more!
God Bless Emazia!
The march begins now!
To the call,
All workers shall raise banners!
The red flag shall fly today!
Across all nations and all peoples!
No more shall we be divided!
United under the red banner,
We unite for freedom!
Freedom, equality and solidarity!
Are the values of a better world!
Free the worker-slaves!
Death to the rich!
March on!
March on!
To freedom!
Against the bourgeois class!
Citizens, for freedom!
March on!
March on!
To freedom's call!
Arise, against the bourgeois class!

Hey Emazia, this is the OOC thread. We post our entries in the IC thread after the host is selected, which is in two weeks or so.
Can you please at least spoiler your entry? I noticed that your code is having some problems- please use these spoiler tags:
[spoiler=Fascist Entry]
[spoiler=Socialist Entry]
Spoiler tags don't work with special characters such as quotation marks and commas, so avoid them when naming spoilers.

Elonas! It is Libumelland, back for our second round in WorldVision number 74, ladies and gentlemen. Last time, we held our debut in WorldVision 73 with Team T.I.M.E., a popular national boy band in Libumelland, and they preformed “Tables Turned” in both Libumelian and English. We were deemed as a very humble entry, and that did turn out quite so when the results came out as Libumelland revealing its place in 27th, otherwise known as last place out of the 27 countries who competed. That was obviously not a very good start, and as a nation we hope to do better. Which is why we have come back, selecting new competitors!
(AS LIBUMELLAND IS A SMALL COUNTRY, WE ONLY HAVE THREE SELECTABLE CONTESTANTS. PLEASE TELEGRAM ME WHICH ONE YOU PICK, CLOSES 30 MAY.)Élisa Perralina - “Monday Morning” Romance
Miguel - HaremSharp Hound - “Ghost Night” Rock/Scare
Miguel - Wolf ft. QuinRaxy - “Hanging” Pop/Dance
Ed Sheeran - Cross Me (ft. Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock)
(OOC: I’m a huge Miguel fan please don’t judge)
