I'm not seeing too much in the way of CTE's or nation changes too so most of the old thread is still good, which gives us some framework

Hey guys, big cosmetic update, I've got most of the station lined out, so soon I can start coloring it in and putting our tiny flags all over it

And thanks to Corindia for the artwork and coming with the RSS idea.

So I would like to launch the first module, the core, which I believe is made by Dothrakia, within a few months. Following that I would like to launch a new component every few weeks just to keep things moving along at a good pace. Luckily for us we're spoiled for orbital vehicles and launch capacity. Whoever launches any of the modules will get a nice news story too. Following this I'll work on a logo too, naturally. As always, looking for feedback/interest on this.

Right now I don't have too many crazy ideas for it, but we should damage and repair/jettison at least one module at some point.

Okay, Mik has signed off on a module, so every major component is accounted for. Also of note is the finished station art which I hope can gin up some more interest within the region.

Howdy. I'm doing life support and whatnot in the "north" module. I can also do EVA suits, if no one else wants them.

I think Aizcona offered to jump in on EVA suits, but it could be an MSTO mini effort

Also as mentioned earlier in the thread, if you're working life support IC your nation would be coordinating with Scant who is handling heat dissipation (primarily along the radiators on the central truss supplied by Brulafi), among many other things

It's a complicated project!

Hold on, what about the docking/berthing port? Does everyone use an universal one or each nation has their own design?

I just reused the one aizcona and I made for expedience, that could be made canon, it would kind of make sense considering its IC already been done

I can unveil a prototype module in January for development over the year, to be launched in late 2021. Is that good or too fast?

I don't think that will be too fast, we can always assume work started earlier. The construction of this station is going to be faster than realistic simply because I don't think it's reasonable for us to have a ten year OOC plan, so I don't think we need to worry too too much about the time frame as long as we keep enough updates coming out to keep us interested in it.

Sure, that's as good a time as any. Depending on the size of the modules there's any number of nations that can handle launch, as well as some private companies. I assume nations working on modules will launch their own if they can, but if not we can figure out who can send it up.

Is a large nuclear capable nation welcome to join up? I need an excuse to design a space program...

So far all my nation's space related projects have been carried out by a paramilitary intelligence service so we're lacking sensible research.

If you're a member then you're certainly free to contribute to systems or experimental mini-modules which will go on the !Kibo, I would recommend building up some factbooks as well.
