Ylfa, Talvezout - "Maijta Mayar, the head of Talvezian Radio & Television, announced that TRT will be going on the overdrive for Worldvision 73. "We currently have plans to resurrect the Betting Odds and WorldVision Awards, as well as bring back commentary for WorldVision 73."," Mayar stated. "Given Talvezout's rather... spotty reputation when it comes to completing tasks, we wish to change things as so to fix that image." Mayar also addressed the possible rumors of Talvezout withdrawing from the contest, stating that with Talvezout E Mouzeh running, the nation has no reason to pull out.

Mayar turned her focus to the recent hacking of TRT's database, where material alleging to a possible host bid for WorldVision 74 were leaked. "As head of TRT, I can say with confidence that Talvezout is currently looking at possibly bidding for WorldVision 74. Right now, we are currently poring over our past bids, and how we could possibly improve on them. Will Talvezout bid for WorldVision 74? I honestly cannot say," she stated."

Here are the images leaked in the recent hacking.

The tunes used are all instrumental. Except for the last one, but I noted that the instrumental version will be used.

There's precedent on an entry consisting of multiple tunes so nothing to worry about. It is your first time though — as long as you can keep up, you'll be fine. And there's no shame in changing your entry and tune last minute haha

Alyxhia Willis to return to WorldVision Song Contest after Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2019 triumph!

Image
Alyxhia Willis: She has become the fourth winner of Britonisea's biggest show, Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2019.

View the Grand Final HERE!

It is almost a tradition at Vha Mehlodhivestoile to have a dramatic finish for first place. In the past, the point gap between the winners have been 2 points, 4 points, 1 point and this year it was a single point again. Alyxhia Willis, a household name in Britonisea who was tipped to do well according to the Bookies, won Vha Mehlodhivestoile around two hours ago with her song "Want You Home", which has already placed in the Britonish Top 5 charts. It is expected to become #1 after the win, especially with the estimated audience of 17 million watching at home. For this first time, Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2019 was broadcast on large television channels across the Multiverse such as Plangainer, Belgaam, Taeseon and Izmedu among other nations. Alyxhia Willis won with 168 points, or 63.3% of available points, more than Taron Woods.

Image

For the first time ever, Britonisea included a spokesperson voting phase, similar to the WorldVision Song Contest, with a previous WHF/WV representative giving their home voting areas points out. As shown above, Lucie Dagenham (who came fourth in WV68 with 124 points) read the points out for Telm City. Telm City gave 12 points to Alyxhia Willis, making her the winner of the whole competition.

Alyxhia will travel to Elykyellek's Westley Theater for the start of her promotional tour before coming to whoever hosts the WorldVision Song Contest for what is expecting to be an exciting edition...

Main Nation Ministry's Bid for WorldVision 73!
Image
(Credit to Todlichebujoku for both the above image and postcard)

"A mythical tale of ice and music."

ABOUT US

After Main Nation Ministry had hosted WorldVision 71, we managed to achieve a high stat for tourism (without going getting seriously injured) along with a boost of our economy, which many would compare to communism, though some of us are compared to collectivists. So it was natural for Main Nation Ministry to do another bid for WorldVision. With a little twist.

Ice-skating!

Image

You see, Main Nation Ministry goes a bit experimental with their bids. Though many would think doing a WorldVision On Ice style would be underwhelming, Main Nation Ministry wants to give it a shot, seeing how the Leader sees figure-skating as his favorite sport to do in the winter. And why not expand winter a bit till it's summer? Seeing how Main Nation Ministry is doing an ice-skating performance bid, we had our finest troops join in on the fun by helping our nation by ensuring your safety wearing winter-themed camo. And packing in some much bigger and more deadly guns to kill any visible threats. Can't have them terrorists disrupt the fun, can we?

Image

THE THEME

For themes, we're planning on adding a story for the audience and viewers to follow along, while enjoying the performances for WV73. For this WorldVision, we introduce the theme known as "The Ice Queen".

(OOC Note: The Ice Queen is mainly a variation of Beauty and the Beast mixed with the fairy tale of The Snow Queen, if you're wondering where I got the idea.)

For the Ice Queen, the theme of the bid will focus on the fairy tale of the same name. Since Main Nation Ministry is known for having our own written hardcore transgressive doorstopper fiction aimed at preschoolers, this bid will be focusing on a toned-down version, seeing how even though there are children who shouldn't be watching this, since some musicians might use profanity, we don't want to traumatize them further with the Ice Queen.

The story of the Ice Queen will focus on a disillusioned young man who after he leaves his own village from a famine, he encounters a mystical ice castle with the Ice Queen, who takes him prisoner, but proceeds to warm up to him (no pun intended). As this occurs, an urban and technological society discovers the nation and uses it as a center of attention for a contest, which confuses the Ice Queen, as she is made the host of the show.

THE VENUE

Since we're doing a bid that incorporates ice-skating, we have decided to pick the Ministrian Hockey Arena in Sector 7, a section of our nation that is between the urban and rural sectors. Often nicknamed "Puck Center" by our hockey players, the stage will be set on the ice rink within the arena with more seating than our last bid.

Image

Shown below is our stage and ice rink. As you may see from our behind our scenes glimpse, that large structure at the end of the rink is the main stage. Since we're aware that many musicians may do not wish to ice skate and sing, they are given the option to have platforms in any shape or size be placed at the rink for them to perform.

Image

For the main stage or the ice castle, as our crew would refer to it, it's a structure that has 6 openings with 3 that can be hidden from view, until a performance starts. Skaters and musicians can enter and exit through the bottom three openings, two openings have been set up if your performance revolves thrill-seeking ice skaters, one opening is made to show people or props inside that might relate to a performance, and a staircase is visible in the middle which is accessible by a door or from bottom.

Image

With the help of technology, we have managed to turn the rink and stage into whatever we and you desire. The stage can change floor or have a projection put on it to fit your performance. Not also that, but your flag and postcard will be displayed on several LCD screens as seen below in the first image below. Since we believe that nations are allowed to bring their own props to the stage, we will allow this, along with having some props of our own if a performance needs them.

Image

Image

POSTCARD
Image

Above is an example of the postcard we will be using for WV73. Nations are available to have their own postcard by contacting the Ministry by TG. You are also avilable to edit the postcard on your own.

We hope to see you all back in Main Nation Ministry for WorldVision 73, so please vote for us!

WorldVision Song Contest 73: Estograd, Estogium

Postby Estogium » Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:29 pm

Image
OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE RIGHTS TO HOST THE 73RD WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST IN THE ESTOGRAD, ESTOGIUM

Unlike most host bids (except Antahbrantahstan '70 - we look up to you boo xoxo), we decided to create a small presentation about hosting the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest in Estograd, Estogium because we thought that sending a boring document would only want you to not vote for us. So in this bid, my aim is to speak to you as though I am talking to you. So, excuse me for my language and not that all formal. If you prefer that, please scroll up to the other bid. Anyway, should we continue with this bid? That's what I thought.

Now, let's be real for just a second. Have you felt as though recent WorldVision Song Contests haven't been giving you what you've really wanted? Where has the interaction been? Where have the postcards been? Where have the links to each performance been? Where have the-, I could go on. I feel like giving Estogium the rights to host the WorldVision Song Contest is almost like giving yourself rights to a good WorldVision Song Contest. The IC bit.

Estogium has never hosted the WorldVision Song Contest before, so it would be a great experience for the Estoge to have a WorldVision inside the country! Around 4 million tune into the WorldVision Song Contest per edition and we expect that number to sharply increase if we host it. That's up to you, though.

Image

The Estograd is a fantastic city that is home to 924,000 people. Right in the North of the city, we have a beach but it is not really a big beach because it is a tiny bit cold, but at the time of the competition, you should get pleasant conditions such as 15C and so if you'd like to have a seat on the beach go ahead! There is much more going on in the city, though. From theatres to museums, you can really find out what it means to be Estogian! There are also things that we will put on especially for the WorldVision Song Contest, such as things like WorldVision Village - where there will be performances from those participating in the WorldVision Song Contest and also different booths where you can win money and restaurant tokens! So...brush up on your WorldVision and Estogian knowledge because you could be going home with £500 EPS in your pocket and your dinner paid for you!

Estogium - itself - is just a fantastic country to be in. Yes, there are loads of similarities to our neighbours Taeseon and Britonisea, but oh well! You've never been to Estogium before so don't beat it until you've tried it!

Here is the stage for the WorldVision Song Contest 73 if you decide to vote for the Estogian bid. Perhaps this edition you would like something different, however I feel as though you should not be forced to adjust to something that will ICly cost your delegation significantly more money. Not all of our nations are rich, Westernised nations that can afford the whole shebang. But then again, Estogium can afford that but either way, it doesn't matter. The stage in Estogium is set to be a nice big one and I am pretty sure most of us in the WV community love nice, big ones! The stage will be quite big, but not too big and there will be a huge screen right behind it which will go from one side of the area to the next making sure that everybody can enjoy the WorldVision Song Contest from all angles. We intend to have around 50 different camera types during the production of the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest making there be so many opportunities to excite your audience at home.

In addition to this, the stage will have multiple different additions to it that will make your performance absolutely fantastic and worthy of a WorldVision win. For example, we will have a wide range of pyrotechnics. If you would like to have golden showers - go ahead! If you would like to have sparklers - go ahead! We will have a load of fog (dry ice and all) to make any performance ominous and we will also have steam jets to scare your audience and to make a high energy performance have even more impact than ever! In addition, we will also add hologram effects, lasers, water thingies that will fall from the roof of the arena. You name it, we've got it.

THE CRYSTAL BALL: ESTOGIUM

The arena that we will be hosting in, if we host, will be called The Crystal Ball which can hold up to a total of 19,000 people making it one of the largest arenas in the whole of Estogium! It lights up at night too!. The Crystal Ball opened it's doors for the first time in 2017, making it a relatively new arena and very much capable to host such a huge, magnificent event such as the WorldVision Song Contest. We absolutely love the WorldVision Song Contest and so we would love to host it in an arena that is worth it. The 19,000 people will also be treated to very nice seats inside, with there being enhancements to bring the stage to the seats of everyone in the arena. The Crystal Ball, the area surrounding it, is home to multiple different shops such as ELEGAMMENT (who are our official sponsors for this bid) and other fast food shops that will fill you right up before you take your seat for WorldVision. Are you vegan? No problem! We have loads of different places to eat where they serve vegan food. Are you healthy? Sure! There are loads of places you could go to and grab a quick shake before you take your place in The Crystal Ball! You love meat? I do too! There are loads of steakhouses and places to make sure that you're full of meat before you watch the WorldVision performances.

Please note that food will not be permitted inside the arena.

Also, we'd probably get a saucy host just to suit the needs of you boys.

Here is the postcard for the edition. As you can see, it is a very simple design that is based off of the design of the logo. In the upper left-hand corner, you can see the name of the edition that we are currently at. In the centre of the postcard, you can see the number of the performance. In this example, Estogium is performing first. Next up, we have the name of the artist and the song. The artist and the song are in a smaller font than the number of the performance. Next up we have the name fo the nation. In this example, we can see that Estogium is the nation that we are using. Next up, we have the name of the nation in the Britonish Language. The Britonish Language is one of the official languages of Estogium. In this example, Rwhitton is the Britonish name for Estogium and so, therefore, it is here on this postcard. As you can see, it is a very simple design and will not take the host a very long time to make. Moreover, there is no reason not to do it. I don't need to rely on anyone else and so the bids should come through very swiftly, with there being mass updates at least once per week and by the time of the end of the competition, all of the postcards should be done and ready to view.

Anyway, Estogium is ready to host the competition if you want it to.

The image doesn't want to work so click on this link plz
Cause a two horse race is boring.

Hi Natanya here, we saw the utter lack of host bids and despite the fair lateness of the bid, we decided to put one in, because why not.
Worldvision in Natanya would be like, well cool. Like honestly, it'd be the best.
We don't have time for a lot of fancy writing, images and graphics, but I'm sure our government would give us the budget if we won the bid so we would actually seriously try like, really hard.
We got a cool city, with a cool stadium, with a cool stage., but for now you'll have to trust us on that.
So that's why you should vote for Natanya to host the Worldvision Song Contest 73

The results of the latest Landa vy Polkopiya have concluded after a fiercely competitive Grand Final. As per usual, the 50/50 format between the international jury and the televote was used to calculate the final result, and according to the results, the winner of the Landa vy Polkopiya is...

Nikol!

That means that Nikol will be representing Polkopia in the upcoming Worldvision Song Contest with her song, Graveyard. This is the first time in Landa vy Polkopiya's history where a Wildcard song won the entire Grand Final, and hopes within Polkopia are high that Nikol can deliver an amazing performance on the night of the event.
