Well something that I said right at the start of the contest was "(I) won't lose hope" and while it might have seen against the odds for me to win when there were so many good entries - including the one that came 2nd (even if the song wasn't to my taste lol). Congratulations to you, Izmedu for your 10th 2nd place - you really are the United Kingdom of the competition...those lets hope the UK's recent results don't get transferred to you!

Right, me! Thank you, everyone, so much for my 5th win as Britonisea! (6th win overall) My WorldVision 73 journey started from early February when I started to reveal those who were participating in Vha Mehlodhivestoile, my national final! To have so many of you engaged in a project of mine that I really treasure was a real treat and I loved (especially in the Finals) how many nations voted in it! Coming into the WorldVision Song Contest, I really wanted to make my entry the best it could possibly be - I'm very, very proud about how it's turned out! I think I was voted for 20 different times (out of 25) which is confirmation that my mission was successful (I think 20 is the most times I have been voted for ever!). I'd like to thank all of you who voted for me - I can't thank you all enough! Big thanks especially to Axuva (adding puppets together), VIR (Talvezout), Polkopia and Besen for giving me top points - it's fantastic that you guys had faith in me!

2nd best nation in the contest is such a huge difference to WV31 Britonisea and I can't believe of the success that I have now, learning from all my mistakes way back when! I hope that those who perhaps didn't do as well as they wanted to do on their debut (or new nations in general), you look at me for inspiration and example - I was once in your place! Practise, practise, practise!

An Unusual Choice for WorldVision 74: Tödlichebujoki entry LEAKED

Those who have been following WorldVision here know that TÖBUK has been aiming for success in recent editions, with songs like "In Control" and "Kenteemsi". The broadcaster has itself declared a "new golden age" for the nation in the song contest, but so far has found only moderate success. This background has made the leak of our WV74 entry all the more puzzling. A reliable source has confirmed the entry to be "Drops of Wine" by a woman named Delilah Summergrave, which is... not at all a combination that one would expect to do well in the contest. Reaction among our staff and the matrix has been one of well, thunderous underwhelming. The song is not at all what one would try to win a song contest with, as it is far better suited for a playlist to fall asleep to, and no one appears to have any knowledge of a singer named "Delilah Summergrave". Is TÖBUK seriously going through with this? And why?
