Looking for a modern war narrative? (OOC)

I've had interest in writing a narrative with any other willing nations for a rping war. I was thinking it would be more novel-like rather than the Dnd style of taking turns. It would involve stories of propaganda, military maneuvers, large scale battles, and detailed combat scenes. Anyone down?

I'd be interested. If we're going for a novel like approach however, we should be looking into setting up geography, a caucus belie, and the other general worldbuilding that would be relevant to such a war.
