World, all of the entries have been posted and it is time for us to start voting on who will be crowned the winner of the 45th World Hit Festival. In this post shall be the voting instructions.

Please TG or Discord DM me a full ranking (1-15, not including your own entry) of all of the entries here. You can rank in any order you so wish. The 1st place will get 5 points, 2nd place will get 4th, etc. etc, up until 5th gets only 1 point. 6th place to your last (15th) will not get any points. These rankings will be used to determine the result of the 45th World Hit Festival.

EDIT: Additionally, make sure to send me a picture of your spokesperson and any RP that they will do! As a note, this spokesperson will read out the 5 points from your nation.

You can't really complain about the result if you don't bother to vote, in my opinion. I believe that in order to do better at the World Hit Festival, you've got to notice what nations that consistently do well do and take inspiration from that, crafting it in a way that is true to your nation. When you have done this, on most occasions, you'll be rewarded with points...

However, only 2 of the 6 days have been revealed and we don't know where you placed in the end. Perhaps you gained everyone's 5...??

Endorsing all of Britonisea's advice. As the host, I can't say much about the current results but as I often hear: it's not over til it's over. With this voting reveal system, it is very possible to pick up 5s in the next phase and get a good position. A nation (whose entry I deeply love and still do to this day) very nearly won the entire contest off the back of seven sets of 5 points not too long ago, only losing by a single point.

If you want any advice/help, I'm always a TG away. I've been with WHF for 30 editions and I'm happy to pass along what I've learned to help new debutantes. It can take time to find one's way here, as no two contestants ever share an exact trajectory. I struggled to find my footing in WHF when I was just debuting (and that was... my god that was WHF15) and I was in the periphery of figuring out what my style was, but never quite reaching it/basically got way too busy. It took me arguably up to WHF26 and my tenure as the overseer to figure out what style of entry that I both deeply liked and what also worked.

Just posted the winner's reprise and have since de-spoilered the IC thread. First of all, I want to say thank you all so much to all who voted! Seeing the support is incredible and it's very surreal to be winning once again, especially with Lane moje. While there's a touch more resonance IC-wise than OOC-wise, a song like Lane moje is basically the song I would turn to if I were to show someone why I love the balkan ballad so much. I initially built Izmedu to be a repository for a whole bunch of balkan ballads that I wanted to send very early in my WV/WHF career, though things didn't quite turn out that way haha

Still, I'm glad to see one of my very favorite Eurovision songs take home the WHF crown. This was a song I've wanted to write to for many years now, and to go through with it and see this happen is incredible. Thank you all so much.

It takes time before you break through and win this (this is from someone who won in WHF38 while having rollercoaster results here) so my advice are not to give up easily. Keep chasing that goal to win that WHF and one day, you will be hosting WHF.
