The Selkie wrote:"Only about the most important thing of them all, Ma'am.", the old man said with a smile, "Family. Your husband was quite surprised to learn, that I am a great-grandfather of two wonderful twins."
He showed her the image as well.
"Those are the two lads and their Mam, my granddaughter Ava.", he explained with pride so obvious in his voice, that it took a deaf man to not hear it. "I have four children, eleven grand-children and by now two great-grandchildren... Rhiannon truly blessed me." He lowered his head for a moment, the other archers following suit a moment later, listening to a short prayer of gratitude, which basically amounted to 'Thank ya, lassie!' He raised his head a moment later with a smile. "Alright, Ma'am, Sir... how about a bit of competition?"

In response, the Minrozian couple looked interested and then stared into each other’s eyes as if they’re communicating between themselves. Looking back at the Selkie elder, they’ve made their answer.

“I do not see why not, elder.” Lianhua gave out her friendly smile. “Let’s see who is the best archer today?” She teased at the last part in spirit of having fun than competition.

“Gods, I don’t think I can keep up with everyone here. I’m not archer. I am a rifleman after all, haha~.” Tieguang chuckled. He and his wife began preparing their bows. The brunette decided to ask one question, “So, anyone here going to act as a referee?”

The maiden, which tended to the stall, raised her hand.
“I will.”, she announced and rummaged through her belt's pockets, producing a card, “I am cleared to referee Youth League Contests of Archers and Horsearchers by the Marcach Guild of Redruth. You might not be kids anymore, but I think, that I am still qualified.”
The card was an official document written in Selkie, which confirmed that claim and it was genuine.
“So... distance a hundred metres, five arrows each.”, she said, “Score from all of them are tallied up, winner is the one with the most points. Would that be agreeable?”
Now it was up to both contestants.
The old man nodded. “Indeed, it is.”

Jan laughed softly at the congratulations gesture his Gwen was receiving from Raidri. Jan wondered for a fleeting second who exactly this man was, yet it did not matter too much, as judging from Gwen's comfort - they were close. Jan decided yet again that he will learn the Selkian tounge, and do so very soon.

Raidri then turned to Jan, still smiling.
“Congratulations to you as well, lad.”, he said, “You are doing good by her by coming here... has he already met Nora?”
“Nope.”, Gwen replied, “That one is a meeting, which I... dread a bit.”
“Oh, why would you?”, Raidri replied, so obviously with black humour, that one could almost grab the black humour, “I'm sure, that she'll love you!”
Both Gwens looked a bit uncertain at that.

The Selkie wrote:Lugh's father came in a moment later, asked his son something in Selkie, to which he nodded.
A moment later, he turned to Haru and Hina and spoke in the melodious, song-like language of the Selkie, after which Lugh said: "Dad's happy, that you like it, searrach, but he stresses, that this is but a temporary fix. He also took the measurements of your eyes and is ready to either hand them to you or to Treoraí Optics, who would then make a new pair of glasses." He listened to his father for a moment. "Don't worry, the expensive part aren't the lenses, but the frame. If we reuse that one..." He indicated to the frame the girl was already wearing. "...we would charge a Gil, all on all."

"Getting them ready for when we head for home would be the best idea. Last thing I need is for her glasses to fall apart on the open sea and for her to walk right off the deck."

"Ahah" Hina managed a rather embarrassed chuckle but her mom's joke was something based in truth, granted not out on the open sea, safe in the port at home but a case of misjudging the blurry space between the deck and the edge and taking a little swim in the process. "Well perhaps the same frames but with an extra pair for a backup. If your father can do what he needs to do we'll be sure to pay and pick them up whenever he needs."

"Mhm thank you very much." Hina agreed. No sense protesting for the cost of a new pair, her mother would overrule anything she said. Well maybe best stop worrying and just relax and go with the flow. She did admire her mother's rather carefree attitude in everything.

The Selkie wrote:Branwen smiled and blushed even deeper.
She would not mind a hug from Shizuka, but she would also not mind sinking into the ground right then and there... Gods, this was... complicated.
"I... am happy as well.", she said with a blush, "And it's not a problem."
"That reminds me, we'll have to get you there as well.", Elin said, taking a sip from her cup of tea, "Would you mind riding with one of us until we get you a horse?"

Once again resisting the urge to leap over the table Shizuka urgently agreed with a rather loud "YES!" She calmed herself cleared her throat and gave a calmer response. "Aha yes, I'd love to!" Her eyes were rather starry and dreamy. "I've never rode a horse so, Branwen, maybe you'd be kind as to let me ride with you and get a feel for it?" She smiled

Lugh nodded, giving a small smile.
“Indeed, he can do that.”, he said with certainty, “And we already have the measurements of the old frame, so we can send everything to Treoraí Optics right now. The new glasses should be available for pickup by...” He thought for a moment. “...Friday, at the earliest, Monday, at the latest.”
His father nodded.
Leonard smiled as well. “That should be well before you depart for home again, right?”, he asked Haru.

Branwen nodded, turning even redder.
Elin smiled as well. Her plan was proceeding apace... “Wonderful!”, she said with a cheer, “I am very sure, that Branwen will give you a good feel.”
Elin...”, Branwen protested at the teasing, which made the older sister titter with bemusement.

Darufa put her hands into her sides and looked at him with a smile. "Finnegan?"
The lad entered fight or flight mode and chose the latter, sprinting off a moment later, vaulting over a fence a moment later.
Darufa smiled.
"Oh, young, starstruck admiring...", she said and smiled at Joey, "His name's Finnegan. A good lad, but... he can't talk to girls to save his life." Ayden seemed to have suppressed the urge to run after the boy, but his muscles were still tense. Darufa put a hand between his ears, which made him relax. "So... Guarding Foxes?"

Billie was ready to push her friend in that general direction to go speak to the boy who'd been eyeing her but it was too late, the young boy split, perhaps too shy to really speak to the cute little girl.

"Oh he ran away...." Joey sullenly replied.

"Mmmm well shoot..." Billie was confused "Really though he'd wanna talk seeing as he was watchin' ya."

"Mmhmhm" Charlie giggled "How adorable! Don't worry girls, likely you'll get a chance to speak to him. Oh foxes huh?"

The Selkie wrote:The baker nodded and began to work the order, nodding to an apprentice to make the tea.
"Alright, ladies...", he said in a deep, heavy accent, "...a potato bread for the adventurous lady and a pork bun for her companion and two teas for both of you."
He looked up to Mavie, Mara and Rona, taking in air and suddenly stopping. He looked at all three Selkie and swallowed heavily.
His apprentice bowed his head in deep respect, his master following suit a moment later.
Mavie spoke something in Selkie, that sounded a lot like an apology, indicating to the handle of Mara's sword (who looked quite sheepish as well), then seemed to order. The baker nodded and went to work.
Mavie smiled at Mei and Tsukasa. "Sorry about this.", she said.

Potato bun sounded quite delectable as did the pork bun.

"Oh, everything okay?" Mei asked concerned

"Hope we aren't causing trouble." Tsukasa responded.

“Maybe.”, Darufa said with a nod, “In any case, yes, foxes. Guarding Foces to be precise.” She winked to Joey and Billy. “I could bore you with the details to make your biology teacher proud, but let's see them first!”
“Didn't one of them have a litter?”, Pina asked. Darufa nodded, which caused her to squeal in delight. “That's going to be so adorable!”
Darufa smiled and led them further into the petting zoo. “It is. Though be careful, girls! Guarding Foxes have a keen sense of protecting their young!” She smiled. “I doubt, that we'll have to worry about either of you, but better be safe then sorry.”
Pina nodded.

“No, no, it's us.”, Mara said with a sheepish smile, indicating to her sword's handle. “You see, by our manners, it's quite an insult to enter someone's house carrying a weapon openly. I was apologizing for that and was forgiven?”
The baker nodded. “Of course, Ma'am.”, he said, getting their order ready, “From my side, all's fine. I understand, why you do it... though I am a bit miffed...”
“My apologies, again.”, Mara said and bowed her head, “Can't let her...” She indicated to Rona. “...go into a baker shop unsupervised. Otherwise, she's going to clean out the store!”
The baker snorted in amusement, smiled at Rona, then tallied up. “The total would be a Gil and eight Umha.”, he said.
Mara paid for them all without hesitation.

Nia shrugged.
“Whenever you are ready.”, she said and rose, “None of the things, which I have planned, are time-critical, so whenever we can dally a bit, look around, see the things, which meet our eyes... in general, exploring in the wider sense of the word.” She smiled, then added: “I used to do that a lot.”

And then she raised an eyebrow at what the girl told her from the message she just received. Was he doing something for school? She then nodded and asked, "Is it okay if you'll ask him what pictures he's taking?"

Then she paused and added, "Also, would you please ask your friend for his phone number? I want to call him when he's free."

Asteria nodded and went to typing, but said: “Don't get your hopes up, by the sounds of it, Enya isn't too close to the lad.”, she announced, continued typing.
Her grandfather nodded. “Learning a language is one of the most worthwile endeavours one can get into.”, he told the foreign woman, “After all, it allows you to understand not only potential lovers, but also all sorts of people. And people come towards you in a wholly different fashion as well, when you put in the effort to try and learn at least a few scraps.” He smiled. “I'll never forget the face of the first Lutetiian Ambassador in the Free Lands, when I greeted him in accentuated, stumbling, but working Lutetiian!”
He exhaled.
“Those were the days... old Grey Wolves don't learn many tricks anymore, though.”, he said, Asteria putting the phone down as the message was sent and now it was time to wait for a reply.

Mediama wrote:“Ah, got it.” Kathleen said as she nodded. She turned back to Fiona, and looked back at her in a near motherly aura, as if she was a mentor. Truth be told she was starting to feel like Fiona was the younger sister she never had, having grown up with only three brothers, an equally wild father, and an obtuse mother.

“It is confusin’ when ya start out tryin’ ta figure yourself. You slowly figure it out as time goes on. Other times, it’s just clear to ya. Sure, you might get bruised and burned along the way, but it just builds up who you are, helps develop your own convictions.”

Kathleen fiddled scuffled her shoes, “Of course, I’m not good at this sappy feely word shite, Miranda’s the wordy one, but I hope you get the drift.”

Miranda had only a moment to notice the odd looks she was getting from her style of horseback riding, she herself didn’t realize that there would be such a difference in culture modest between the two countries.

She turned to wave back at Meave biting on the inside of her cheek to keep the sadness of leaving from overwhelming her, she knew she’ll hear from her again, she gave her her own phone number, but the pain is never abridged even with that fact. And thus, she looked forlornly at the lone figure as she grew smaller and smaller in the distance.

Miranda sat there in a daze until the Sergeant offered her advice, she turned back to face the woman and nodded. “W-Whether it be regarding how not to get lost, or in life, I’d love to hear it.”

Kat returned the bow with a small bow of her own head as she regretfully let go of Liv’s hand and curtsied as well. “As you do, yourself ma’am. Don’t feel like you’re causing any trouble, it’s nice talking to other people, even if they are in rather high places.” Kat smirked.

As she and her girlfriend wrapped up on farewells, she reached out for Liv’s hand once more, if she was able to hold on, she would entwine her own fingers with Liv’s, and accompany it with a slight lean into her frame.

Fiona saw the mentor-like aura Kathleen was looking at her with, almost sisterly – and as a middle-sister of an older brother and a younger sister, as well as the instructor for cubs, she... did not fight it, but she made an emotional step away.
It was no offense to Kathleen, but Fi had enough on her plate already.
“Yeah... I guess.”, she replied, “My Mam always says, that I am still in my experimental phase... and that my growth spurt will still be coming.”
She looked down at herself, particularly at her bust... or lack thereof.

“Actually about not getting lost in life.”, the Sergeant replied with a smirk, “It's short form is rather simple: Don't.”
The other militia-girls were listening in, not out of malicious intent, but because they felt, that this was advice for them as well.
“It's not as easy, though.”, the Sergeant added, “A lot of things make you get lost, turmoil in heart, mind and soul are only the most common thing. You can not avoid it and we've all been there.” She exhaled. “What I found as the best course of action was taking a step back and... you might call it 'meditating'. Even if it is only taking a deep breath, stepping back and calming heart and soul, maybe even pouring your heart out to someone, you need that at times.”
She let a beat pass.
“So... what's his name?”, she asked with a teasing smile.

When Alaina was gone, Liv exhaled deeply and with a shuddering breath.
“Gods...”, she said, looking at Kat and squeezed her hand, “That was one heck of a ride!” She then began to giggle. “But we survived!”
Liv accepted Kat leaning against her, wrapped an arm around the Mediaman.
“I am sure, that she is dialling up my own High Priestess to tell her about the encounter...”, she whispered to Kat, “...and I am sure, that she'll only say positive things!”

As Lise asked for food and drink for Dilly, Chris was just going to rise, but Cel was faster. Hardly a surprise, but still a nice gesture was that she was going to pay it herself, for his birthday.
Indeed, the little Foundling deserved it!
Chris said, "From my own experience, they aren't only very curious, but also love having a nap every now and then - and they will likely find any place to do so, as soon as the surface is big enough."
He remembered Cladhaire sleeping in the hotel room in Dumhach on the first day back then, when he and Cel had gone fishing.
"For example, guarding your luggage in hotel rooms when you're away for an hour" - he added.

At the Marcach Camp.
Not only Mia, but also Hilda and Sophus had to grin, when a dozen Marcach started offering her a spot on their horseback, right in the moment she stated not to mind sharing one in case.
Alaina's deadpan tone to suggest to try to find another horse first caused a round of grins amongst the Lillos.
"Well, then let's try!" - said Mia.

Wait what???? Lise thought shocked of it, heck no she wouldn't let Cel pay up all what she bought here considering that she even if she bought only the basic food and the starter kit, who knows if it is expensive or not.
Meanwhile Dilly offered his neck for let Lise to put him the collar, which she did without problem and then caressed him on the head.

"Good boy" she said grinning at him as she carassed his head. Then she grabbed the kit and sealed it for later on. Then she heard what Chris told her about them, so they love to have an nap an lot of time and so they will search for an place to do so if the place is big enough and one example is that when they sleep, they can guard your package in hotel rooms when you are away for an hour. "The definition of an guardian, even sleeping, always protecting their terrain and what it is of their partner" she told him smiling and then looked at Dilly again with the same caring smile. But then looked at Cel.

"But now changing of topics. Are you sure that you want to pay it Cel?? I mean I know that it won't be an problem for you but it's just that I don't want you paying something that I bought" she told to Cel looking at her embarassed that Cel wants to pay for something she bought.

Stoc Inn
Trinity giggled at Aurora reaction with what she said of her and Silvio being Father and Daughter but in truth is that their relationship was like it, and that was for someone which knows them from this for now and if she looked deeper she could confirm it more truthfully.
And as with the food, like Alce said, compliments to the chef.

"Indeed we have to. As soon as the waitress returns we tell her to tell our compliments to him or her" she said grinning and then eating an little more. "Sorry that I ask this Aurora... But how did you and Silvio knew each other?? Does he is someone close to your family??"

Meanwhile Ethan could clearly see that the man didn't even moved any muscle of his face as he showed him the picture and he could bet that he didn't believed what he said and that even that what he told him was the truth, he might take Bennington as an Stalker or something.
Which was confirmed by the hand on his shoulder of an man which clearly was from security and with the tone the receptionist spoke to him. In his terms were simple and clear, he leaved peacefully and this would be forgotten or Finnegan took him through the back exit and with an broken bone most surely.

Now to be honest, Ethan what he would do now was... Very risky since this was an big gamble, but one worth if it played off well.

"I have an objection sir" he told him respectfully and polite as he grabbed Finnegan's hand and took him out of his shoulder. "I will leave on my own but first I want to make an bet. Simple. How about I call her and if she comes and explains that what are you thinking is an misunderstanding and then you let me in and if she doesn't answer me or answer me very rude with something like I don't want to hear you again or something like that. Then I leave, it is up to you to accept it or not, if you accept it I would be glad and if not I won't mind and I will leave on my own, sounds fair??"

Laír Square
"Mamaí, thank you for the directions" Ethan told him smiling at her and her daughter. Although what she told him was very bad and kinda screwed his plans to met Lise.
When she asked him who he was and who was searching, Ethan bowed himself at them and presented himself.

"Ethan. Ethan Walker, pleasure to meet you Mamaí and so is an pleasure to meet your daughter" he said at them getting up and grinning at them. "I planned to meet my girlfriend inside the Inn as an surprise to her since she has been telling me about this travel for quite an time" he told them blushing at that thought since ever since the wedding-run all the times they wanted to confess their feelings or have an date has been met with problems because of school or other compromises they have for the finals time.

"Although that idea has gone out of the window hasn't it??" he said sighing. "Guess I have to search how can I find her. I just hope that I can find her soon"

At the shop.
I giggled at Chris' comment, remembering the sleeping places of my various foxes in Dumhach. Indeed, they were wonderful guardians of what belonged to their partners – Dilly would protect Lise with his life, if necessary.
When Lise asked, if I really wanted to pay, I nodded. “Yes, I am sure.”, I said, “Financially, it's not a problem, you are right about that, but that's not the point. I want to give you a present, so unless you want me to introduce you to some nice lads for dances – and only dances, don't worry – I have no idea about what might be useful to you.”
Finnegan and my boss, meanwhile, rose from their seating, my boss tapping Chris on the shoulder. “How about we let the ladies talk amongst themselves?”, he offered to us... and ordered Chris.

Marcach Camp.
The search for another horse for Mia was surprisingly easy, which reinforced the notion, that it was less the rider and more the horse, which had been problematic. Alaina would have to check her later...
In any case, the next horse's name was Sodaire, a stallion, which was almost still a colt, a Móinteán. A draught and riding horse, which was from the moorlands. Not exactly the most noble breed, that was true, but both easy to ride and sturdy, as well as with stamina. That, and they were usually black, which proved popular amongst tourists.
Sodaire sniffed Mia's hand for a short time, then licked the hand.
“I think, that he's willing to let you ride him.”, Alaina ventured with a smile.

Stoc Inn.
Aurora smiled softly as Silvio replied: “I served under her father as a conscript and we stayed in touch.”, he said, “When he stayed at sea, I decided, that I would give his kid a shot at merchantry. I was not wrong.”
Aurora's smile widened slightly.
“Her mother is a good woman and a very strong one as well.”, he further complimented, “Good tendencies for her to draw upon.”

The receptionist shook his head.
“Nope. We will not play a little game. Finnegan?”, he said and nodded to the security man.
Said wardrobe put his hand back on Ethan's shoulder and led him off to the entrance, led him outside and then looked at him.
“Go to the Left Bastion.”, he recommended, “The gatehouse is now a restaurant and a very good one at that. Invite your girlfriend there.” He let a beat pass. “Good luck with her!”
And with that, the man turned around and went back inside on his post.

Laír Square.
Mhairin smiled lightly.
“Ask her, where she is right now and drop by there.”, she recommended, “She does have a phone, right?” She adjusted the hold on the girl on her arm, then continued. “Though I must leave you to it... I'm not from here. I have trouble finding my own inn, the Cluanaire.”

Polish Prussian Commonwealth wrote:Marie shook her head. "Not even gunning for turning back the clock...just want us to end this without any real antipathy between us. But thanks...I appreciate it. And who knows?" She grinned. "Might just hit the jackpot, me and him..."

Anne wondered briefly why paper money wasn't a thing in the Free Lands-carrying around coins was an absolute pain in the ass, both figuratively, and, if one used their back pocket for their wallet or purse, literally.
"Bagged, and here you go."
The 4 copper coins plinked against the counter, and she waited for him to keep up his part of the deal.

Or maybe it'll end in even more tears., Kiah thought for a moment, but she still smiled and nodded.
“Who knows, maybe you don't hit the jackpot with him, but with a friend of his?”, she also added to the pool of options as she poured new cups for either of them. “Who knows, indeed, but the Gods?”
She leaned back, blew over her cup, and took a sip.

The young man took the money and a minute later, the entire order was in Anne's hand.
He did not know about her question about the absence of paper money, but if he knew, he would simply have to shrug. The copper coins she had given him, each was worth not only one Umha by the value written on them but also by their material value, making them, much like the Gil and the Ór, currency money. That was all he knew.
He was an apprentice baker not a professor for economics.
“Well, then, Ma'am, have a nice day and enjoy your time in these parts!”, he said, then winked, “You already know, where to get the best baked goods!”

Jan Breytenbach with Gwen

Jan thanked Raidri for his congratulations before his soft smile returned. He actually forgot about the upcommimg neccesary meeting with Nora. He observed the uncertainty in the faces of the Gwen's, and the obvious dark humor stab from Raidri, yet Jan was not concerned. As a lifelong warrior and minister of war, confrontations was his natural habitat. He actually secretly looked forward to face some dragon wrath..

He weighed in "Indeed, I bet she will. This is an darn exciting time afterall!" Jan placed his hand on Gwen's stomach and smiled lovingly at her.

At the Shop.
Chris had nodded in agrrement on Lise's definition as to what a guardian was, and whom and what they had to guard at which time, and, particularly, why. Even when asleep.
She changed the topic, worrying if Cel was genuinely sure to be going to pay for everything, which Cel confirmed, that she was indeed sure - Lise should receive her present, after all.
Not only the remark on an alternative, but also a tap on his shoulder signalized Chris, that it was about time to leave the girls alone for now, with their conversation.
He turned around and nodded. "Comin'!" - he said and rose, ready to follow Finnegan and Cel's boss.

Marcach Camp.
As hard as finding a match for Mia had been previously - just as easy it was to find one now.
A young stallion, indeed almost still a colt, as the present horse experts carrying the Federation's Passport around with themselves noticed, smelled Mia's hand for a moment, then licked it.
"See? Isn't that hard to find a match for you, eh?" - Hilda said to Mia, grinning.
Sophus said, "I was sure it can't be Mia. Maybe there's something not okay with the other one ..."
"Assumable" - said Hilda, nodding. "A check couldn't harm. At least, our problem is solved now."

Better focus on the other thing: Recommendations.

Sadly, our concert is at the same time as the air show."
"You could always just walk amongst the stands and shops, which have open and see, what you find... or what finds you.", Layla recommended.

"Shrimpy would have liked the petting zoo..." she wondered, "owell."

Hilda, on her part, felt a bit skeptical about the 'adventure finds you' mantra. While it was true that her eccentric manager was a walking embodiment of this, she was nonetheless kind of miffed over the notion. As for the rest of the fair, she would have loved the air show, but to her dismay, that appeared to have clashed with the concert itself.

"I'll probably take a look around, thanks," Hilda said with a grin on her face, "as I said, I'm mostly in for the concert. As for anything else, well, I'm always in for some street grub. Anyway, you mentioned a militia demo. Care to elaborate?"

"Mmmm" They both nodded in complete understanding to be mindful of the mother. Certainly two girls raised around plenty of animals knew when it was good and bad to get close with animals so they both gingerly and cautiously approached

"We'll be careful"

"We promise!"

"Good girls." Charlie praised them both. "Seeing a batch of newborns is always a wonderful thing!" Charlie said. "Having welcomed in many young animals in our times, always gets to me" Charlie too was as excited as the two litle girls.

The Selkie wrote:“No, no, it's us.”, Mara said with a sheepish smile, indicating to her sword's handle.

"Oh I see." Mei nodded. "Good manners are very important so it's understandable." Both girls giggled at the little quiff that young Rona would likely clear out the shop if let loose. "My my. Well it's understandable, young growing girl like her would probably eat a lot." Once the tab was paid, Mei and Tsukasa recived their orders "oooh these smell so delightful!

"A-about that offer, I-I pass I would accept that offer in another circunstances but maybe I would if one day I'm around here with Lucas and you know" she said blushing about it. "We want to dance together an Selkie-dance or how you call them" she said still with her cheeks pink.

Meanwhile Chris went with Finnegan and Gawain inside to give the girls some privacy, which she knew that this would take quite sometime and might or won't end with something important going.

"Sorry that I ask you this, but how are things with your family?? Does your father is same as stubborn and doesn't approve your relationship with Chris??" she asked sighing about it, it wasn't an great and good question but it was one needed to since she wanted to know if she and her family did the homework and solved their problems.

Following Finnegan advice, Ethan moved in search of that restaurant and begun to move in search of it. Better hope that it is as good as it is said.

"Yeah she does have an phone miss... I might just have thought of it earlier" Lucas said embarassed of it since he didn't thought of the idea. "I might as well give it an try and see if I can call her, thanks" he said at her grinning as Walker saw Mhairin leave with her daughter to the Cluanaire Inn.

Cluanaire??? He have heard of that place before although it was an vague memory to be honest... Although.

"Wait Mhairin!!!" he said calling her out. "Maybe I can help you find it with my phone, how about this?? I call my girlfriend and I ask her where she is then once done, I use it to take out the map and help you on finding it through it!! Sounds good??"

Jan thanked Raidri for his congratulations before his soft smile returned. He actually forgot about the upcommimg neccesary meeting with Nora.

Raidri smiled and chuckled, so did many of his mates.
"I bet it is!", he said, then motioned to the table, "So, don't stand around there like statues, come and sit! Eat with us!"
The others around the table made space for both Gwens and Jan, in particular two spots side by side for the man and his pregnant girlfriend. The Kjalaran in their midst would find himself slightly more squeezed.
Once everyone was settled, the breakfast continued as if nothing had happened.
"So, Jan...", one of the women present asked, "...how did you two get to know each other?"

His father nodded.
Leonard smiled as well. “That should be well before you depart for home again, right?”, he asked Haru.

"That will be perfect, thank you again so much!" Haru thanked as she ran a free hand down her daughter's long dark hair in affection.

"Well it will be good to have new glasses and not have them slide off my face while working." Hina giggled

"Yup, just perfect for you, my dear! Happy birthday yet again!" She hugged her daughter.

The Selkie wrote:Branwen nodded, turning even redder.
Elin smiled as well. Her plan was proceeding apace... “Wonderful!”, she said with a cheer, “I am very sure, that Branwen will give you a good feel.”
“Elin...”, Branwen protested at the teasing, which made the older sister titter with bemusement.

"Ahah oh my, Elin. You too have quite a way with words." Shizuka sipped her tea a little more. Overhearing a couple of other islander tourists from AHSCA on holiday for the festive occasion it warmed her heart to hear it but more over, a her eyes lit up with stars. If the other two took notice of her rather dreamy expression she replied "Oooh I just had an epiphany!" she quietly squeed. But she wanted to keep it to herself for a bit, well not entirely to herself, she would tell Branwen as her own special informant. An author shares her secrets with someone she truly trusts and cares about.

Lugh nodded to his father, who grinned: "Then ordering I will!", he said in his broken English and let Lugh, Leonard and the two Islanders alone, petting his son's shoulder.
"So...", Lugh said and looked to Leonard, "...you did not tell me, that the charming young lady celebrates her birthday soon..."
Leonard grinned. "Yeah, sorry."
"You better be!", Lugh replied and then looked to the Islanders. "When's the big day?"

"You look very happy.", Elin said with a small smile, teasing of her sister forgotten, her quiet squee only made Elin smile more fondly. "Oh, the two of you fit quite well, don't you?"
Branwen smiled as well - she knew the feeling of a very good idea... it usually ended badly for the characters, but for her, it was a good idea and she not often implemented them anyway (a book could only stand so many plot twists before they became meaningless), but she knew the feeling.
And Elin knew the look on the face as well - as well as she knew better then to pry.

The Minrozian couple took the glance at the document and figured it’s genuine despite not understanding Selkie. The two looked back at each other’s eyes with a smile and then a brief nod of agreement.

“My husband and I are in agreement. We have no problems with the terms.” Lianhua said.

“I have to say we’re ready.” Tieguang nodded.

The contest began not too long after.
One of the other archers collected the bets and kept the tally, the other archers deciding, that the pool would go to the Gavida-Temple in Drochbhail, a small village a bit out of town, which's temple could surely use a bit of a repair - that was best Selkie-tradition, the pools of bets being donated.
The fun came from being right or wrong with the estimate, not the winning of money.
Next things they knew, that had stumbled into a very intense competition... as far as Lianhua and Conchobar were concerned. Tieguang did well, but the other two were on the next level.
It took around half an hour and a winner stood: Lianhua had won clearly, then Conchobar, then Tieguang.
The old man bowed his head to both with a smile. "My gratitude for the good competition, Sir, Ma'am.", he said and grinned, "This one was fun!"

The three men retreated into the shop, the two men with Chris between them. Inside, after they had adjusted to the light, they saw Enya still with a little fox in her arms, playing with him.
Finnegan joined her and for a moment, one could almost believe, that the two of them and their little bundle were a family already, and soon, they might be.
Gawain smiled at them.
"For all the many, many years I lived, I never tire of seeing young love.", he told Chris in a whisper. Within his mane, something rustled. "Just like with you and Cel."

Campsite.
Alaina nodded. Checking up on the other poor colt had been the plan.
"Indeed. Dad will get a report about it and we'll see, if he does the same with other riders.", she told them, "Don't worry about him, though. He's in good hands."
"In the meantime, make ready, people!", Tyran suddenly called over, already mounted and looking archaic and impressive in full getup and with two lancers by his side, all three carrying lances, tip down, counterweight up.
The pennons near the counterweights told those, who were knowledgeable in these things, that they would be riding under the leadership of someone ordained by the Marcach Guild, which was understandable.
A horn blast reconfirmed that notion and controlled chaos broke out, as water was poured over fires to put them out, the horsemen collecting their last things or making the last preparations before they mounted.
A sizable crowd had already assembled before the gates.

In any case, Alaina explained: "You see, there's an ancient law around these parts.", she said and then intoned: "Every child, that is to learn the arts of numbers and signs, is to learn how to defend his or her city with spear, pike, sword and bow." She shrugged. "And so, every child going to school is, to this day, taught how to fight with spear, bow, pike and sword, which means these means literally."

The Guarding Fox Mother looked up and cautiously watched them all.

Mara and Mavie smiled at Rona's not-protest. She knew, that she could eat a lot and as it was her declared objective to become as tall and strong and pretty as her mothers, she needed to eat a lot.
With their orders in hand, the three of them bade their farewells, their mouths watering, and with an idea as to where to eat.

Following Finnegan advice, Ethan moved in search of that restaurant and begun to move in search of it. Better hope that it is as good as it is said.

Laír Square

Outside the shop.
I smiled when Lise refused my offer to introduce her to some nice lads for dancing, and only dancing, especially since it involved that lad of hers and her dancing a 'Selkie-Dance', which was a term, which one could apply.
We called it Bogadh, which could also translate to motion, but that was all kind-of the same thing.
In any case, she then asked about my family...
I exhaled.
"The lads leave us alone for a few moments and you start with the big ones...", I said with a small smile, "I appreciate it, though." I let a beat pass. "No, Dad still does not approve and things are still bad. Mam tries to keep everything together, but we are falling apart at the seams, and the one usually blamed for it is... you guessed it." I shrugged. "I spent more time here then at home by now and I even sleep here, usually."

Stoc Inn.
Silvio smiled and Aurora blushed at the compliments heaped onto her.
"Indeed.", the man said and smiled tenderly, "I look forward to the day, when she surpasses me, but while that day is still in the future, it is still closer then you would think."
"We just need to look for a speciality...", Aurora said and smiled slightly. "You see, every Lutetiian Merchant has a group of wares, which he or she specializes in, from clothing to food to weapons, there are many groups. And I still need to pick one."

On the way to the Left Bastion.
The way to the Left Bastion was signposted as the defensive structure, together with the other two bastions north of Cuan (aptly named the Middle Bastion and the Right Bastion), formed the fortress ring, which had protected Cuan from incursion from the north since the 16th and 17th centuries. It was a hike of about two and a half kilometres, first through the city and its gates and then over a bit of countryside.
Tourists loved the way, so it was quite good to walk... or one could take the Selkie-version of a shuttle-bus: A carriage.
There was one by the sign and for a small fee, the carter would instruct his two draught horses to pull the heavy carriage, which would be, as the carter hoped, filled with many people. So far, a few were already sitting there.
Walking was an option, too, through the city and a small bit of countryside past the City Walls.

Lair Square.
Mhairin stopped at the young man crying out her name, turning to him and his idea. The girl, who did not understand English yet, looked from one to the other.
"Sure, I'll see, what I can do.", Mhairin agreed after a short moment, "No guarantees, though, I am not originally from Cuan." She then shrugged, which jostled the kid a bit, but she didn't seem to mind. "Sounds like the Cluanaire Inn rang a bell with you, though."
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.

Jan Breytenbach with Gwen

Raidri smiled and chuckled, so did many of his mates.
"I bet it is!", he said, then motioned to the table, "So, don't stand around there like statues, come and sit! Eat with us!"
The others around the table made space for both Gwens and Jan, in particular two spots side by side for the man and his pregnant girlfriend. The Kjalaran in their midst would find himself slightly more squeezed.
Once everyone was settled, the breakfast continued as if nothing had happened.
"So, Jan...", one of the women present asked, "...how did you two get to know each other?"

As Jan took his seat at the table, he wasted no time to serve himself some food. He was starving, and the breadrolls tasted great, real fresh. He was spoken to suddenly [i]"So, Jan...how did you two get to know each other?"

Jan swallowed his latest mouthfull, and looked up at thr unintroduced female. Jan knew he had to be vague with his reply, to maintain his semi secret - his real identity, but not too vague as to arouse suspesion and appear rude. He replied: "Oh just your average chance encounter.. We met at a work function. I was immediately drawn to Gwen's beauty, humor and wit.. The rest is.. history and future.." Jan continued to wink at his Gwen.

"So...", Lugh said and looked to Leonard, "...you did not tell me, that the charming young lady celebrates her birthday soon..."
Leonard grinned. "Yeah, sorry."
"You better be!", Lugh replied and then looked to the Islanders. "When's the big day?"

Still holding her daughter in a hug, Haru smiled. "Ah the end of March. Last day of the last hour to be exact."

"She means I was born at 11 in the evening before midnight which would have been May 1."

"Still remember like yesterday. Raining cats and dogs the wind pitching and howling away. Or maybe that was just me. Well it was a stormy night that much is true. And this is a big event for Hina, she's turning 14. Which technically makes her a woman in Island Culture. Legally will be a matter for me and her papa to decide upon but tradition is tradition that I don't waver from."

"Yeah it's enshrined in our customs. Some girls even choose to marry that day! Well I'm not quite ready for marriage just yet....But dating sounds really appealing" she blushed.

"When I turned 14 I set off on a long voyage with my father across the sea. No real destination, it was my right of passage because since I was little I really wanted to master sailing. I don't expect Hina to do the same but she's already a strong young woman. I tell you she could very well run our little farm by herself!"

So things went downhill ever since her last visit then, her dad was an stubborn man which tries to control her life, her mother is on an lost battle trying to keep everything together and most of the family blames her for that and she now spends more time here with even staying and sleeping here on Gawain's shop.

"I see... Sorry to ask you that. I just thought that your family did the paces with you and you guys were now an family" she said sighing about it, that Cel has to suffer this was unfair since of all people she didn't deserved it.

"Just you know that you can count with me for everything you need and if you need somewhere to stay for an while for some exceptional case, call me and I take you to my house even so it is far from here. But know well that you have me, Gawain, your friends and Chris supporting you and watching your back" Lise then said smiling at her best friend and hugged her tight.

"Promise me that you will call me if you need help"

Stoc Inn
Trinity smiled and giggled by Aurora's reaction, but jokes aside, she really deserved to praise's and complains.

Then Silvio told her smiling that he was looking to that day to happen and it was clear that for what he said it was close to happen but first and in Aurora's words, she needed to find her speciality.

"Interesting. How about we give it an try and see if we can find your speciality now or at least the basis of it" he asked drinking her juice. "In what do you or are you good at when it comes to the specialities of an merchant of your nation??"

On the way to the Left Bastion
Ethan looked to see where this place was and to be honest quite far from the city center was, two and a half kilometres.

"Surely they want me out of here badly or something like that" he said sighing as he looked down his map, two options for him where in front of his wiew. Carriage or walk.

He thought about it for some minutes, there was the carriage which would take him faster through the city or enjoy the wiew as he walked and took an little of his time.

Better go walking, healthy and besides I want to enjoy the wiew on my own he thought to himself grinning of his idea and so he begun to walk sure and steady to his destiny. Might take like half a hour but it would be worth, Ethan then pulled back his phone with him and kept his walk using the memory of the map.

Laír Square
Thank god she agreed with the idea, better help her to get there too since maybe he might need to stay there if he can't find Lise. Then he finally remembered about the Cluanaire Inn, he readed it quite some time ago when he did an work of history in the History Club and the city he chose was Cuan.

"Yeah I remembered that I did an work on Cuan quite some time ago and one of the Inn's I found was the Cluanaire, I put info of the Inn's there or at least some of them to have it more detailed in an way"

The Selkie wrote:Fiona saw the mentor-like aura Kathleen was looking at her with, almost sisterly – and as a middle-sister of an older brother and a younger sister, as well as the instructor for cubs, she... did not fight it, but she made an emotional step away.

Kathleen briefly looked toward where Fiona was gazing, then quickly looked back up and laughed loudly. "Ach, don't ya worry about that. You have plenty of time ta grow, both mentally, and physically, though ya know what they say, size doesn't matter."

As much as she wanted to give her opinion on why having a large bust wasn't as cracked up to be, Kathleen had to switch back to her more serious, sane side, they were still in a crisis after all, they could banter and joke about bodily sizes at any other time.

And so, after a beat of pause, she said, "Well as for the other feelings on your chest, same concept, you won't know until ya try it, and ya have time anyway." Kathleen mentally facepalmed at the fact that she could still find some innuendo at a time like this. "And if it doesn't work out, you two can still be friends, you seem like a friendly lass, always lookin' out for others, it's admirable, lord knows I feel like I'd like to strangle my brothers at times when they get too rowdy."

"U-Umm, well..." Miranda paused, hesitating at saying who her lover was, before she decided to take a leap of faith. The first step to being comfortable with a relationship, is to admit that you have one, and this was a good state, "H-Her name is... umm, she's a girl named Fiona." She blushed heavily, finally admitting to someone open as to the identity of her crush. "I-It's just hard to admit it, people seem to express love differently to how they do at Queen Victoria's."

She paused for a beat, "As for your suggestion, I-I do take walks at times when I'm allowed to, and oftentimes I find that if I wrote out my frustration in a book, I can feel better, but that doesn't always solve problems as talking to a friend does... I-I can't say I've had luck having many, I'm too free-spirited and imaginative at times, some people might see me as absurd, or naïve."

She sighed, "It's just... at Queen Victoria's your expected to be graceful, and to remain calm, dignified, and collected through any situation. But sometimes... things get too... overwhelming, you're taught that reputation means everything, and that some things may be looked down on in different parts of society."

She signed, staring at the saddle and the barrel of the horse, "I-I'm sorry I'm spilling this all out to you, I barely even know you, and you are focused on simply reuniting me with my friends. I-I don't want to be seen as imposing, nor burdening."

The Selkie wrote:When Alaina was gone, Liv exhaled deeply and with a shuddering breath.

Kat blushed and giggled as Liv mentioned the potential outcome. "Hopefully, 'made sure the in-laws didn't hate me,' check!"

However, as much as she was joking on the last part, a thought ran through Kat's mind as to the nature of Liv's parents. While the did talk about their families in their correspondence, Kat never met Liv's family, nor vice versa, she wondered what they were like, and a thought began to eat at her as to whether or not Liv's family did approve of their relationship. She squeezed back on Liv's hand then after a moments thought, decided to turn and playfully peck Liv on the nose to start off on opening the can of worms.

"Mmmh, as much as I'd love to ask where to next, I just realized something, we never met each other's families before. Are your parents and relatives here as well?"

It promised to be glorious with the many different aircraft being announced to be present, from the Vampires of the Free Lands' participants in NASJAR to Giodrógs and other historic aircraft!
She shrugged.
"Nowadays, the training mostly focuses on being a manpower reserve in case of natural disasters and first aid and such things, but they still learn how to handle these weapons. This entire service, which is run as part of PE, is called being in the Younger Militia.", she added, "And sometimes, like for large festivals, they want to show off, how well they know their moves and formations and stuff." She let a beat pass. "If you want, we can accompany you, right, Layla?"
The other Selkie-Musician nodded.

"'Accompany'," she remarked, "you wouldn't be trying to skip out on practice, would you? Cheeky... Sure, why not? We'll head out once I'm done with my food. How's that sound?"

Training and usage of pre-modern weapons had long been relegated to those gifted in the arcane. Modern weapons, and thus training in such weapons, now took precedence in modern Wolfenium's cadet and conscript system. Such sweeping changes, an effect of imperial policy following the Wolfen Civil War, was a reflection on the change of attitudes of its leadership and people. For the Edenite-controlled government, the demise of the feudal system, especially Belka and Alstein, heralded an end to the age of chivalry and heroes, and the coming of the age of science and industry. It was thus strange for Hilda to see any focus on primitive weapons.

“Oh why thank you.” Lianhua replied with her kind smile, returning the bow. Despite winning her first place, she never boasted about it, nor flaunted. She just accepted the fact she’s a winner with humility. The Minrozian lady continued, “Truth be told, we never had this fun playing archery in the long time.”

“Fun, certainly!” Tieguang quipped, returning the bow as well. He was not even sore about being in third place, rather focusing on the thrills of the sport than competition. The next thing he did is accepting his loss like a gentleman. The brunette then offers a handshake to Conchobar. “We have good time. I wish we could invite you and your family to visit our country if there’s an archery festival. Our treat. We’ve held similar festivals wholly dedicated to martial arts and that’s including archery in our homeland. What says you, elder Conchobar?”

The Selkie wrote:"Indeed they are.", Darufa confirmed with a nod, leading the small group deeper inside, to a small tent, where an old man sat.
In his lap was not a vulpine, but a canine with red fur, black stripes and beige ruffs on the head and chest and a beige tail, bushy and comfortable looking. He was apparently ancient, resting in his owner's lap.
He smiled at Darufa and nodded, allowing them all to enter.
Inside, another one of the same species rested in a basket, half a dozen furless puppies snuggled into her chest. She seemed to smile fondly, but also seemed tired.
An old lady kept watch here, looking up as they entered. She motioned for them to be careful. Pina and Darufa nodded.
The Guarding Fox Mother looked up and cautiously watched them all.

The girls cooed at the cute foxes nestled in together. Mother and babies snug and warm in their little spot. "So cute!"

"I know, I know. I wish I could just snuggle them all!" Joey said of course she couldn't and wouldn't but a wishful thought.

"These here foxes, Darufa" Billie asked curious "Are they domestic? Like y'all can keep them as part of yer stock?"

"It will be.", Mavie said with a nod, then looked to her wife, who nodded. She then added: "Say, wanna come home with us? We have a good look over the city and it's a minute away... and we would be happy to have you."
Rona smiled so wide, nodded so enthusiastically, that one could believe, that her head split in half before it would soon fly off.
Needless to say, she loved the idea.

"That sounds like a fun idea!" Mei agreed

"Yeah, we'd be delighted to join you at your home." Tsukasa agreed with a nod.

He turned to Leonard, asked him something in Selkie, which made the young tinkerer grin. "Well, it's perfect, that you two come to the party tonight! If I may be so bold, Milady, to already book a dance with you?"
Leonard grinned. "Don't ya have a girlfriend?", he asked.
"I do.", Lugh confirmed, "But we'll all be mixing it up a bit, so why not ask for a dance with a charming young lady beforehand?"
Leonard grinned.

Branwen nodded and smiled, Elin smiled a smaller smile.
"That is very good to hear.", the older sister said with a nod, "Though if we want to get you a place stay before any of the good bits of this festival start, we should get moving."
"Nah, I think, that we have the time for another cuppa.", Branwen said with a small smile. She was very much enjoying the time she had with her great idol and her big sister, and Elin saw that.
The older one nodded. "Alright... a cuppa sounds like a plan.", she admitted.

So things went downhill ever since her last visit then, her dad was an stubborn man which tries to control her life, her mother is on an lost battle trying to keep everything together and most of the family blames her for that and she now spends more time here with even staying and sleeping here on Gawain's shop.

[i]"I see...

Outside the Shop.
I smiled at Lise.
"Thanks, Lise.", I said and reached over, taking her hand. There were no tears welling up in my eyes. It was something between a trick of the light and something in my eyes. I swear. "I really appreciate it."
I let a beat pass, getting myself under control again.
"It's... weird, you know...", I said and smiled, "Despite all, I do not hate my father. He still is my father, after all... but... he doesn't make it too easy."

Stoc Inn.
Aurora smiled.
"Luxury wares, generally speaking.", she said in a moment after Trinity finished. "From dresses to wine, I can sell anything in these categories, which I have a moment to inspect. Clothing especially."
"And you have a number of talents in other groups as well.", Aureliano added, "Like cars and motorcycles, ships... and I did spot you with that trade paper for arms manufacturers..."
Aurora blushed lightly. "Well, that was more out of boredom...", she said, Silvio shrugged.

On the way to the Left Bastion.
The way was quite well equipped with signs, but could easily loose sight of them in the crowd of festivalgoers, which moved forwards and backwards and around like the seas. From individuals to families, from small stalls of peddlers, hawkers and traveling people to shops, from individual horsemen to entire carriages, everyone was on the street, it seemed.
And with how many joyous reunions were celebrated, one could easily come to that same conclusion.
Ethan's walk would take him from the Square towards the city gates, which was still quite literal, as the old city walls still existed and marked an outer boundary of the inner city, while everything outside was the outer city.
Young men and women not much older then Ethan 'protected' the gates, armoured in the half-cuirasses, which the Selkie were famous for, and armed with swords, spears and crossbows - the Younger Militia, a guard, which was purely ceremonial... and for tourists, as they were quite readily available for tourist photographs and that for free. If one would leave a small donation for the upkeep of the Anfa Ridge Memorial, they not object...
In any case, behind the gates, one only had a few more houses, then open countryside and free way towards the Left Bastion, which could already be spotted in the distance.

Laír Square.
Mhairin smiled at the young man in a slight moment of disbelief.
"You did a piece on Cuan for your school?", she asked with a smile, "That's wonderful. Cuan is a beautiful city... although I am more a fan of Launceston. Was born and raised there!"
She smiled.
"So... show the map and we'll talk a bit more on the walk, okay?", she proposed.

Mediama wrote:Kathleen briefly looked toward where Fiona was gazing, then quickly looked back up and laughed loudly.

Fiona nodded.
'Let's be friends!' always felt a bit hollow, when boys told her that... she didn't want Miranda to feel the same, not after... well, everything.
She had to snort at the innuendo, though.
A moment of silence reigned in the bakery, then Fiona spoke: "I suppose you are right... still, I want my growth-spurt. I don't want to be mistaken for a Cub every time I'm not in school uniform... Ciaran knows, what I mean..."
The young lad nodded.

The Sergeant smiled at the end of the speech.
"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want you to 'spill the beans', as they say!", she said and turned slightly in her saddle, placing a gloved hand on Miranda's shoulder. "I could now give you some platitudes about screw what others think of you, the important part is, what you think about yourself, but that wouldn't help either of us... what I want you to remember is this: If you feel something for that Fiona of yours, tell her. Tell her about your feelings, about your concerns, about yourself... and if she likes you back, you'll know where to go from then on out."
She smiled, gave Miranda's shoulder a squeeze.
"And if your school gives you problems, call us. We'll show them the uncomfortable side of the Younger Militias!", she added with a grin.

Liv giggled at the joke as well, but when Kat asked about her parents being in Cuan as well, she shook her head.
"Nope, they're still in Leuda.", she said and smiled softly, "Mam and Dad are part of the organizing committee of the Festival there, which is a huge deal. Gavida's Principle Temple is there, so a Spring Sacrifice was held there... and it's a major city, too, so the festival is large as well."
She smiled softly.
"But it's alright. I have you here...", she said and squeezed Kat's hand.

It promised to be glorious with the many different aircraft being announced to be present, from the Vampires of the Free Lands' participants in NASJAR to Giodrógs and other historic aircraft!

Layla and Alaina smiled, Layla nodding with a grin maybe a bit too quickly.
Alaina nodded as well. "Sure.", she said and took out a pamphlet. "You see, the Exhibition starts at 12, is said to last for about twenty minutes, and from there, its one and a half kilometres to the music stage. We'll be back in time to see the second half of the concert of the lads, then it's our turn."
Layla smiled and nodded.
"And...", Alaina added with a small smile, "...we all still need to finish!"
Indeed, in front of them all, there was still food on the plates, although Layla was very quick to change that on her plate, which made Alaina giggle.

While, as the contest was over, a cease-fire was called and the arrows collected, many of the archers went to make their purchases. Not so much Conchobar, who got an offer...
He was speechless for a moment.
"I... would be very honoured, Sir.", he said and smiled, "Though I'll have to talk to my family about who wants to come along and who can't... I am sure, that they'd love it very much as well." He let a beat pass, then raised a finger. "One moment."
He took out a small notebook and a piece of graphite, jotting something down on the paper, then ripping it off, handing it to the two Minrozians.
"My address and e-mail, so that we can stay in touch.", he explained.

With their orders in hand, the three of them bade their farewells, their mouths watering, and with an idea as to where to eat.

Darufa smiled at Billie.
"They are domesticated, yes. We keep them as pets.", she explained, "Especially in the cities, the smaller and cuter alternative to the Grey Wolf, which we in the countryside prefer." She smiled. "Though, Guarding Fox is a bit of a misnomer, as biologists found out, that they are closer to dogs and wolves."
She smiled.
"Our ancestors called them that because of their intelligence, most likely, and it stuck...", she said. "So, about the petting..."
Darufa nodded to the tent's side, where a number of cubs, older then the newborns, at least two or three years, sat and watched them with clear, attentive eyes.
"About a metre from them, kneel down and offer your hand for them to smell.", she instructed.

Rona almost squealed in delight, but she grinned a wide grin, while her parents nodded.
"We would be honoured.", Mara said and motioned for them to follow them.
Indeed, two minutes later, they were in a side street, opening the door to an apartment building of wood and stone, looking centuries old thanks to the timber used in its construction.
The door even creaked slightly as they opened it into a stairwell, which led upwards for three storeys.
Rona was already in the first flight when Mara turned on the electrical light, Mavie gave the letterbox a short glance.
"We live in the third.", Mara explained with a smile.

Foxfound wrote:"Then onward!" Z said gleefully. Fortunately she didn't bolt outside or anything.

The other two girls seemed equally excited. Kiri in particular had enjoyed this excursion a lot. It was certainly a departure from the lonely island she lived on.

Nia nodded and rose herself, ready to depart - the excitement was contagious, even for a woman, who had lived centuries upon centuries.
She wanted to move out, as suddenly, Branwen spoke: "Aren't you forgetting something?"
Nia froze for a moment, then turned to the ancient woman.
"My apologies.", she said and bowed her head, "In the name of my traveling companions, we thank you for the meal and the drink. May the Gods smile upon you, Milady, especially on this blessed day."
Branwen and Macha nodded. "We thank you, girls.", she said and rose herself, giving a light bow, "The company was very much fun. And I hope, that you'll have more over the next few days you stay in our fair lands!"
Macha nodded. "If anything goes wrong, you have my number?", she asked the four girls.
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

The woman smiled.
"If Nora lets you, that is.", she said and leaned back, "Though, we do know, what Gwenny does and you don't exactly look like a welder, so..."
"Drop it, Patty.", the older Gwen said and the woman smiled slightly. Then she turned to Jan. "Though she is right, it is well within Nora's powers to simply not allow you two to marry. Don't worry, the child will be carried to term."
The younger Gwen nodded in confirmation of both points.

Jan smiled in a thanking manner towards the older Gwen, whom clearly understood and supported the importance of keeping his true identity hidden. He was however, quite displeased with the relevation that Nora could outright refuse a possible wedding.. He wondered what other backwards and strange customs awaited him.

"I find that relevation very interesting.." Jan did not mean it in a complimentary matter. Back home, personal freedom and choices was held sacred, even from one's own family.

"I guess, I'd just have to smile broadly then.." flashing a large broad smile.

“Oh thank you, elder. You are so generous.” Lianhua responded as she accepted the paper from Conchobar and put into her pocket. “I can understand if they wish to come along or not, we won’t be offended by their choices regardless. We just wish to repay your hospitality with ours in Minroz.”

Suddenly, Tieguang’s stomach rumbled out loud. Flushing with embarrassment, he chuckled. His wife obviously noticed it and chuckled as well.

“Aiya, I’m hungry. Haha~.” The brunette said. “Say elder, any good restaurant nearby?”

Cel was... Crying?? Lise didn't expected her to cry considering her rough story with her family, but she might or surely still cared about them and that she has the support of her friends on her back and that they will help her.
As soon as she got back onto herself, Celina explained what Lise was thinking first. She didn't hated him, it still was her father in the end and even if she hated him or has an rough time with him, it was her father and she will always have an spot for him.

"I know, sometimes even if we hate our parents or have problems with them, we still have an soft spot for them on our hearts" Lise said with an smile. "We all have our differences, but what makes an family strong no matter if they don't have problems and they are that family which talks everything out or have problems such as yours. Is that they always care for each other and they will always protect each other" she then put an hand on her shoulder as she kept smiling at her friend.

"Trust me I'm sure that soon you and your family will sort things out and if not... Then I don't know but maybe they are too stubborn for see that they have to talk things out" she then hugged her for an minute before let her out.

"Sorry that I ask you this but, I believe Dilly needs to eat and drink something and I don't want him to be hungry as we walk to the Cluanaire Inn so, you don't mind if I take out some food from an small can of the kit for have him eat it before I leave with him to there??"

So she was an expert on many things as an merchant with even once being in the arms manufacturers business aswell. Wow that was an lot of things in which she could be focused on her business.

"I have to say that's an lot of talents if you tell me, is there any way that you could try to specialize in all of them or are you requested to be in one since you seem to be skilled in all of them if you tell me" Litton answered grinning at Aurora. "If not, then I believe you should stick with the luxory wares since you seem to be more focused on it" she explained.

On the way to the Left Bastion
The streets were completely full people on all sides and all places with almost no way to be able to see the directions in where one could be going. Thankfully through, the memory helped him to know where he was going from him leaving the area of the Laír Square into the old city limits where the walls were placed and were the limits between the inner city and the outer one.

I know this feels like an festival and that but it kinda reminds me of home with all the people on the streets might not be accurate, but those were Ethan's thoughts in the end.
As he kept walking to the gates he saw the Young Militia making guard in the gates, they were ceremonial so that explained their gear which was for the situation.

But still that didn't mattered now since later on he will comeback here for take an photo with them with his girlfriend after they ended their dinner in the Left Bastion, which thankfully was on the wiew of him, just some walk through the countryside and done.

Might as well surprise her once I'm on the restaurant so she knows where I'am, Ethan thought to himself with an laugh getting out of his mouth, Trinity will surely be excited and surprised to see him around here.

Laír Square
"Can't say I blame you, we always love our hometowns more than others" Lucas said smiling at her as he took out his phone. Then he went close to Mhairin and showed her the location of the Inn, not too far from here but still not an short walk, the map pinned the perfect route for them which surprisingly passed through Gawain's store.

"Here it says this is the shortest route to it, so we might as well take it" he said placing his phone back on his pocket. "So what are we waiting for?? We might as well get moving so we can be there soon"

"Thanks for everything!" she said to Macha with a toothy, innocent grin. The other two girls said similar goodbyes. As they were about to leave Ren deftly dabbed most of the ink off of Z's face with a napkin.

The Selkie wrote:Lugh smiled.
"Oh, if you were a Selkie, you would still need to wait a year on the day, then you'd be an adult!", he said and grinned, "Though you would need to be blind to not see, how much of a strong young woman you are, Hina." He turned to Leonard, asked him something in Selkie, which made the young tinkerer grin.

Hina was really intrigued now. "Wow so do I understand Selkies come of age at 15? Wow I'd really love to learn more about what it means to become a woman among The Selkie peoples!" She smiled brightly and blushed a little when she was praised at becoming a strong young woman that she was. "oh thank you very much! I suppose I hope any fine young boy will think the same when i can find someone to court. Actually, I would very much enjoy to share a dance with you this evening. I do like to dance!"

The Selkie wrote:Branwen nodded and smiled, Elin smiled a smaller smile.

"Yeah, no great rush. Whatever happens happens I'll make the best of it. I want to enjoy another good cup of tea with you two!"

The Selkie wrote:Darufa smiled at Billie.

"That's real neat! Y'all sure do know lots bout animal raisin and y'all got lots of good cool animals." the girls listened to the instructions on how to pet. Not to unlike approaching any strange animals they often were taught so they nodded in understanding knowing how to be careful and approachable.

The Selkie wrote:Rona almost squealed in delight, but she grinned a wide grin, while her parents nodded.

"Than we shall!" Mei took Tsukasa by the hand and the two walked following their gracious hosts. "Very nice and quaint!" Mei complimented on their lovely home.

The Selkie wrote:Layla and Alaina smiled, Layla nodding with a grin maybe a bit too quickly.

"Of course," Hilda admitted, wolfing down on her own food. Overall, not a bad start to a solo trip, and she got to meet some stars face to face. Conversely, she still felt a bit disappointed having to hoof it alone. She was sure her friends would have loved to meet the duo too.
