He smiled.
"Indeed, farming might be more of your forte.", he teased Hina a bit, turning back to Haru, "So, about your boat... what sort of boat is it?"
He might be a better swimmer then sailor, but that did not mean, that he didn't know port from starboard.
"I do really like the farm I must admit....It's also more papa's thing but even he's a better sailor than me."
"Aw there there, my dear, we all have our strengths and no one can craft a rice dish as good as you! Ah my own personal boat, which is the one my girl and me sailed in on, is a junk ship. Pretty common in the islands, even The Duchess herself has one! As for my work when I'm ferrying passengers around the islands then I have a larger version of that. Long haul journies with cargo or passengers it will just depend on what I need. I've been doing this pretty much all my life so I've worked just about every kind of ship one can imagine, big to small, sail and steamer. Well I haven't worked modern cruise ship, I suppose I could give it a try one day but I rather like the adventure and challenge that sails and steam offer. Please, I hope I'm not boring you, if I am just tell me, I could go really on and on!" she laughed a little.

"I am glad, too!", she said, whispered into her ear, "I mean, one rarely enough meets a kindred spirit, but... I was your fan, Shizuka... please allow me to be your friend."
Elin had stopped a few metres away, looking away. This was their little moment, she would only intrude. Besides, Shizuka would know a side of her sister, that she would not know, not any time soon, maybe never... she envied her a bit, if she was honest.
But if it made her little sis happy, then who was she to object?
"Oh, Dear Branwen, I'd be so pleased to be your friend! Now we are more than just fans I'm sure we can connect on more levels as we get to know each other really personally!" Actually Shizuka's phrasing might be somewhat questionable if taken out of context, it only occurred to her but she tried to hide her blushing cheeks behind her wide smile.
