Reason for being there(this is the OOC thread so be honest): Professor von Edelgrün is not only Neureich's most prominent orientalist, but also an influential advisor to the government in regards to middle east and Islamic policy. In this case, he is not only travelling to Saranidia on his own behalf, but with the hope of improving relations with both Saranidia and Dagestan. Officially, Neureich is strongly opposed to Dagestani's separatism, however, Neureich would like to covertly encourage the conflict in order to gain influence and weaken Danceria. (Nothing against Danceria, but it wouldn't hurt Neureich if it was weaker)
