I am thinking about this one, so pending.
The main issue I have is, that he's dead.

So are Quon & Sherry, technically, but for all intents & purposes it's mostly only the Ezharans themselves that realize they're actually dead. For everyone else they're just weird kids who think they're dead but probably aren't. Or, hopefully not. Versus the other two, though, Darius canonically had died but wasn't dropped into purgatory (i.e. Parfuhmerie) like them, so he's probably a doppelganger or something to that effect. These three being dead is another one of my "don't investigate & I'm still MT" quirks that I often use in most MT roleplays, though if you do investigate it's just another layer of Parfuhmerian/Shwe weirdness that I'd think The Selkie would know about to some extent. Whether or not they're really dead won't affect the storyline much, since they're going to talk like they are, but if your characters try to look deeper into it:
Sherry & Quon will say it was near-death, that they managed to flee to Parfuhmerie, & that Darius is dead; Darius will say he died in his sleep for a little bit & that he's really tired; & Nera, Leo, & the Internet will say that they're all dead. From there, it's a matter of who you want to believe, all a matter of perception, because the reality isn't allowed, so instead it's just three perspectives.

Oh, and Mei and Tsukasa get confronted with homosexuality being no issue in the Free Lands while Fiona might be a bit too... open. And the Folaisians are having a merry day, too.
