Hello and welcome to A Desert Predator in Scarlet Company
This is a private RP between me and Kyrenaia, but you are very welcome to read along. Have fun!
Also, all informations on the Alphas can be found in this factbook

Saturday, March 2nd, 7.10 PM Local time
Helicopter Base Area, Imperial Compound, Blachkov DC

As the night has just settled in the American Federal Empire of the Scarlet Eagle's capital city, people are starting to get out to enjoy the cool evening of this weekend day. Despite the tragic events that had happened in the city just two months ago because of the Green Poison outbreak, the situation managed to come back pretty quickly to a normal level.
As families go to restaurants, young couples enjoy the sights of the rising moon's reflection in the Potomac River, the Helicopter Base Area of the Imperial Compound, (the zone encompassing the Imperial Palace, the Imperial Guard Headquarters, as well as the Imperial Personal Brigade Garrison, and all the houses of their members), is subject to an intense activity.
On the landing pads, a group of four black Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks helicopters, as well as two MH-6 Little Birds of the same color, are boing prepared by a group of mechanics in dark green jumpsuits.

Meanwhile, a kilometer more south, in a wing of the Imperial Palace, a group of 22 men and as much women, all clad in black tactical gear, are preparing themselves for their upcoming mission. These people are the Alpha Squadrons of the Personal Guard of the Empire's monarchs, Emperor Anaximander "The Scarlet" Blachkov and Empress Anna "The Scarlet" Blachkov, themselves being active soldiers and Commanding Officers of their respective Squadrons. And the reason everyone is preparing for a nihttime operation, is because they are going, in a few hours, to board and inspect the Alshaahin , a Kyrenain yacht, hosting the Kyrenaian delegation coming for the return state visit, after the Emperor and Empress visited the Sultanate in Jjuly of the preceding year.
Despite a rocky start in their relation (following an incident involving a former Kyrenaian Colony, and Scarlet American tourists), the relations between the two countries had had least managed to reach a near-cordial level, despite recent intelligence suggesting that the Sultanate was considering the Eempire as a lesser country. Unfortunately, the Empire's view on the Sultanate was more or less the same.

In the Alpha's own preparation room, Major Charles Shaw, callsign Alpha 2-4, (and also considered like the Don Juan of sorts of his unit, thanks to his looks), and the medic of his Squad, is preparing his gear.
"Man, here we finally are! he exclaims to his colleague Norman Whitaker, the medic of Alpha 1, as the two men put a pouch of morphine, and some hemostatic powder packets in their backpacks.
-Indeed, replies Norman, as he closes his backpack, before moving to peparing his primary weapon for tonight, a P90 SMG. To think that nearly a year ago, we were ready to go at each other's throat, and now we're going, or at least we try, to see towards a common goal.
-Yeah, but considering how the recent intel we've got shows how they think of us, I think it's high time to remind them that we're not pussies, says Major Fanny Shaw, Charles's wife, as she comes to observe her husband, the blonde woman currently loading one of her Colt's M1911 magazines. Finished yet?
-In a few minutes sweetheart, we just finished checking our medicial supplies, now on tothe weapons, replies her husband with his trademark smile.
-All right, simply replies Fanny, before moving back to her own table, who she's sharing with her friend and squadmate Eleanor Hinkle, the other blonde woman being in the process of loading her SCAR A1 (the newest Assault Rifle who just entered service in the Empire's Imperial Guard, being chambered with a new cartridge, the newest 6.8x43mm).

A few minutes later, Charles and Norman have finally finished to load their weapons, and are currently in the process of putting their plate carriers on, before attaching them and putting their tactical vest over it.
Tonight, all of the Alphas are packing three weapons: a SMG (P90 OR MP7), or an SCAR A1 for ten of them, as well as a Remington 870 shotgun for five of them; their Colt Python Revolver in a thigh holster, as well as their Colt m1911 pistols in a thigh holster too, just next to their revolver.
As Charles finishes to attach his tactical vest over hos plate carrier, before putting on the new symbol of the Alphas on his left shoulder, a voice belonging only to their leader, Anaximander, rings into the large room.
"All right people, shouts the Emperor, two minutes left, so hurry up and get over here!"
So, with a bit of hurry, the two men finish to strap all their gear on their person, before moving to an end of the room, where the rest of the Squadrons are assembling.
"All right everyone, says Anna, the Empress, once everyone have arrived, put your lens on."
With tha said, each of the Alphas takes a small box from a chest pocket, and takes out two contact lens, who are in reality Smart Contact Lens, allowing them to have a Heads Up Display directly in front of their eyes. Once they all have put it in their eyes and have linked them with their Data Glove Paired on their left forearm, they turn back to their two leaders, who are standing with Colonels Pavel and Alicia Morozov.

"All right, linkstart! exclaims Pavel, before in front of the group, the image of a yacht is projected by means of their contact lens. For them it's as if the're seeing it like an hologram, but for an external observer, he would be seeing nothing in the space the image is supposed to be.
-All right, starts Anax (the Emperor having a bit changed since his last meeting with the Kyrenaians, his hair now being longer, and tied into a manbun), this is the Alshaahin, Prince's Damir Yacht's. As you know, she entered Chesapeake Bay this morning at Two Dark Fifteen (2.15 AM), escorted by three Meninx Class Destroyers who have then been sent to Norfolk. There, the Coast Guard National Security Cutter SEIS Legend, and the Offshore Patrol Cutters SEIS Dakota and Portland took care of the Yacht's escort, and have just confirmed their presence over the coast of Quantico. Now, our goal tonight is to board the ship by Fast Rope Insertion, inspect her and then have dinner with our guests. Remember, this is supposed to be cool. Even if we all know they do not consider the Empire like a suprpower, tonight is not the time to settle this, so everyone is cool tonight.
-Now, continues Anna as she runs a hand through her head, who now reach to the middle of her back, just like Alicia. This ship has eight decks, the most important ones are Deck 6 and 7, where the Cabins and Bridge are located. The girls and I will fastrope ot the bow of the ship, while you boys and Anax take care of the aft."
As she speaks, small red arrows appear on their HUDS, highlighting said zones.
"So, any last questions? asks Alicia, who is in the process of attaching her hair in a hairbun.
-No Ma'am! answer the rest of the group.
-Good, replies Pavel So grab your gear, we're leaving! Yuri, Patrick, get Gopnik and Cairo! he shouts to the two leaders of Alpha Two and Three.
-Roger that!" shout the two men in answer.

And now, with everything prepared, the Alphas proceed to put on their trademark balaclavas, each one painted with a white skull over the black fabric, before putting on their Ops-Core Future Assault Shell Technology (FAST) Helmet, with Night-Vision Googles attached. They supplement the set with their trademark HUD shades, before grabbing their weapons and backpacks, and leaving the room, going through corridors before stepping outside, where a group of 9 Okhosh M-ATV trucks are waiting.

"So, here we finally go, says the Emperor as he takes the wheel of the lead M-ATV, putting his SCAR A1 to the side. Excited?
-You bet! replies his wife who has chosen to ride shotgun, her KAC M110 Snipr rifle in her lap. Do you think they're going to be happy to see us? she asks zs she takes off her helmet and balaclava to rearrange her hairbun, before putting them back on, and attaching her neckerchief around her neck. In the past few months, she had taken to wear her husband's gift more often.
-All right! exclaims Anax with a happy tone, and a smile behind his balaclava. What about you Pavel? Ready to finally get back at Damir? he asks to his friend sitting behind him, as the convoy starts to roll to the Helicopter Base Area.
- Ooh, I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, answers the male Morozov as he caresses his Mk 48 LMG, him being the only one, with Fanny Shaw, to carry a Light Machine Gun tonight.
-Just be sure to don't rough him too much, says Alicia, with a mischevious smirk she's sure her husband can hear.
-Meh, remember his burned scar? asks Pavel. If he's survived to this, a simple push to the ground won't do that much damage."

Finally, the convoy arrives to the landing pads, where the Squadrons proceed to disembark, and board the helicopters. While Anaximander board the helicopter with Alpha 1 and 2, his wife, as well as Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Petrenko, go each to one of the AH-6 Little Bird helicopters. They will provide sniper overwatch for the rest of the crew, while they conduct the Yacht's inspection.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Leonheart, and Patricia Petrenko, help their two grey Appalachian Wolfdogs, Gopnik and Cairo, board the Black Hawks.
Once everyone is safely strapped onboard, the rotors starts to spin, before the 6 helicopters take off in the night sky, their lights becoming little more than colored specks in a few minutes.

Potomac River, 5 miles East of Quantico
"Legend to Alshaahin, the Alphas have taken off, I repeat, the Alphas have taken off from the Imperial Compound, they will be inbound in 20 minutes, over." announces the communications officer of the Scarlet American Coast Guard National Security Cutter.

"The greatest difficulty of diplomatic dealings with anyone is the difference between self-perception and the perception of others of oneself. Those, who believe themselves mighty, usually will try to act mighty and will appear as anything but mighty in the process. Might, and that is the important part, is not shown by the application - others know, whether or not you are mighty, and that makes you mighty. Not you yourself decide, whether or not you are mighty, but others do that for you. It's a bit like on the school yard, really."
    - Grand Vizier Mahmut al-Zahir in a guest lecture about International Politics at the University of Utica, 2017. Amongst the attendees were Prince Damir ibn-Razia and Princess Fara bint-Dardan, as well as Admiral Abbas Lahia.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 8. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

It has been two months since what happened in Lux Pulchrae. Extremists tried to kidnap me and two other women of noble descent and only the gallant actions of the two bodyguards posted at the side of our hosts prevented the worst.
It changed a lot in Kyrenaia's approach to State Visits and the first ones to know that would be the Imperials, the citizens of the Empire of the Scarlet Eagle. The relations between our nations were... weird, to say the least.
It all began with the Va'a Mamao Incident, when Kyrenaian troops seized a former colony again before it descended into anarchy and madness. That it was now a colony again, a Kyrenaian Khanate by the name of Jazirat Alshahwa, was a different story. As a few Imperial tourists were caught on the islands and taken into what effectively amounted to protective custody, as well as all other tourists, which could be found, someone tried to let shit hit the fan, but the calm and cold manner, in which the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time, Vizier Hassan ben Sahid, had handled the matter and began the repatriation, only cemented, that the relations would be icy for the foreseeable future.
Kyrenaia, however, did not like icy relations with anyone.
So, when, by coincidence, an Imperial Delegation attended a wedding in a third country, which was also attended by a Kyrenaian delegation, the Imperials got handed the offer for a state visit as a start for reconciliation between what we perceived as a local power and us. No one expected them to agree outright, but when they did, we rolled with it.
Then the visit came, not without its own complications, from bodyguards turned special ambassadors not understanding, that they could not order a soldier of a foreign armed force around and that even they had to stick to the rules, to old al-Zahir teaching the Imperial Couple quite a few lessons.
They received, as gifts, amongst them guarantees by Kyrenaia to aid them in times of need.
They needed it during the outbreak of a deadly plague, which saw Kyrenaia sending a hospital vessel, which proved vital in combating the virus. Meanwhile, the Grandfathers of Anaximander and his boygroup came to Kyrenaia, basically fled, and were received with cold professionality at best, especially in case of Peter Blachkov, the former Emperor.
And there was enough reason for that.
And now... two months after someone tried to ransom me and a pair of Princesses off, we were on the sea again, aboard the Alshaahin - she could keep pace with the three vessels, which Uncle Ilia had sent to our protection and as a ceremonial escort, the three vessels RKN Muhit, RKN Sabrata and RKN Serdica.
The Alshaahin was a 150 metre long motoryacht with a cruising speed of 18 knots - compared to the 35 knots of RKN Sabrata and RKN Serdica, that was a bit small, but we managed it in time and now, it was time for indulging our hosts...
Technically, in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the Alshaahin was equivalent to an embassy and thus inviolable. The hosting country was not permitted to enter, unless explicitly permitted, and was neither allowed to search nor to seize anything there. However, Dad allowed them entrance for their little search, "so that they can have their little peace of mind.", as he put it - pure indulgence.
I would be searched, too and... hang on... My apologies. I forgot to introduce myself.
I am Princess Aurelia bint-Damir, the daughter of the leader of our delegation and a mixture between Kyrenaian and Selkie. I am blonde, blue eyed (light sapphires, as someone once described them), 1.75 metres tall, quite well formed with a lot of very nice curves, and would turn 18 this year. I was, besides being Princess of the Ilkhanate of Utica, also Special Junior Ambassador of the Sultanate and well-acquainted with the Imperials.
I'm also bisexual and have a girlfriend.
The Alshaahin carried the more important part of the delegation: Dad, Princess Fara, her plus one Admiral Lahia, myself and our staff of security personell, a few secretaries, Handmaidens and so on.
The other part, a number of business delegates, which had effectively nothing to say, had landed earlier today for their own business talk. The most, which would come out of that, would be the same phrase repeated all over and over again: "We should certainly look into how we could cooperate in the future. How about a business meeting at the side of this trade fair?"
I, meanwhile, had schoolwork to attend to, as did Princess Fara have to do University work.
Fara was blonde as well, but with shining red eyes, rubies staring right into your soul, dark-skinned like me, a few centimetres taller, an athlete with a decidedly female, muscular body - as befitting for a Princess of the proud Ilkhanate of Megido and daughter of a Princess of the Khanate of Las, who turned into an Ilkhana.
The two of us lounged on the Sun deck of the Alshaahin in the waning daylight, having been informed about the impeding arrival of our hosts for their dinner. Dad and Admiral Lahia had been informed, too, and were awaiting them quite relaxed, sitting in the lounge. A bet said, that one of the Alphas would try to rough him up a bit, as he sat in his armchair and read a book (The Lord of the Rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien), he betting on being roughed up himself. It was an open secret, that one of them, Colonel Pavel Morozov, fancied, that he had some sort of bill to settle with Dad.
Our escort had installed themselves on the Work Deck, in one of the larger storage rooms, on their insistence. The Imperials were clearly instructed to knock on their clearly marked door and to enter calmly, because if they tried to storm the room, it would end in tears for everyone involved and no one wanted that. The two troops of ten airmobile infantrymen each, plus two officers and a sergeant, of the 61st Helicopter Brigade were more then suited to deal with the Alpha Squadron, even without the additional troop of ten of the Fleet Ground Forces.
The usual, trusting approach of Kyrenaia to security of their diplomats had been shaken, no longer, Kyrenaia would entrust the security to their hosts. After Lux Pulchrae, and a few months before, Fara in Danceria, that was understandable.
And so it came, that Fara and I were reading on the topmost deck, the Sun Deck, when the helicopters came. Four larger ones, the actual transports, two smaller ones, flying circles, most likely, as Fara (or rather Princess-Sergeant (Reserves) Fara bint-Dardan, 7th Mechanized Brigade) noted, sniper cover.
Those snipers would have a grand old time: Not only was every corridor, every nook, every cranny and every lightbulb aboard on and left not many shadows, but that also included the Sun Deck, where Fara and I read... wearing nothing but a bikini. Side string, black for me, lying on my stomach, Fara in a deep blue one on her back in a deck chair, one leg angled slightly upwards, a pair of sun glasses allowing her to read.
Get your heads out of the gutter, she had a boyfriend, who is very territorial.
All in all, we showed a severe lack of concern regarding the coming inspection, mostly because we knew, who would be coming for a visit and that this was a formality... and the Imperials trying to show, who was mighty and who wasn't.
"Let them indulge in their belief.", as Grandmother had told us before our departure.
I closed my book with a small thwack and grinned at Fara, who closed her own book with a small smile of her own, putting it onto the little table between our deck chairs. She then folded her hands onto her bare stomach, the angry white line from where an assassin's knife had hit her and robbed her of her ability to reproduce clearly visible.
She smiled slightly as she awaited the ropes to come down.

As the choppers fly low over the Potomac, heading south, Anaximander discuss things with Alpha 1 and 2
"So, think they'll see who's boss here? asks Gerald Mmintsky, Alpha 1-3
-it's a bit more complicated than that, Gerald, replies Norman Whitaker. You can demonstrate all you want, but if deep down, the other party doesn't believe what you're trying to say, it's no avail.
-Yeah yeah, replies the former, but seriously, we're not like ten years ago!
-With what happened in New York, and the Division incident, I understand them, in a sense, says Mark Vitela, Alpha 2-3. Although when it comes to influence, fortunately we haven't lost one bit. And that's a thing we have more than the Kyrenaians, according to recent intel.
-Yeah, because apart from former colonies, and a small number of other countries, their influence is not much, continues Edward Hinkle, Alpha 2-2. Not to mention the culture, guys! Seriously, do Kyrenaians movies are as much internationally widespread as ours?
-No, replies the Emperor, and trust me, I have everything in mind for tomorrow. But for now, let's enjoy ourselves.
-Yeah, replies Gerald, although I'm curious about the 61St troop's worth.
-Probably the same as our Fourth, replies Charles Shaw, referring to the 4th RATB.
However, as he is about to continue, the pilot turns back to them and shouts : 30 SECONDS!
-All right, time to shine, finishes Anaximander, as he checks if a round is chambered in his SCAR A1, before putting the gun back in his lap, and with Mark's help, open the two lateral doors. As he fwatches from the left side of the helicopter, he catches sight of his wife, seated in the rear space of the MH-6, feets hanging outside, and her M110 at the ready. He sends her a kiss, just as he spts the ships lights in his peripheral vision.
As all the helicopters reach the Alshaahin, the Black Hawks position themselves to their designated spots. For the men, The one transporting Anax, Alpha 1 and 2 would hover over the helipad, the one transporting Pavel, Alpha 3 and 4, would hover over the Sun Deck.
For the women, both choppers would hoover at the front of the ship, unloading their passengers one after the other.
The MH-6 carrying Anna and Yuri as overwatch, would hover respectively on the Port and Starboard sides of the yacht.

As the UH-60 stabilizes over the rear helipad, Anax kicks out the left rope from the door, letting it deploy to the ground.
"GO!GO!GO! he shouts as he grabs it and slides down, before touching the ground, moving a few feet away from it, and kneeling, gun at the ready. Once everyone would have landed, he and his Squads would go straight to inspect the Lower decks, including the one where the men of the 61st were located.
Pavel, in the meantime, has applied the same procedure over the Sun Deck, and is currently kneeling a few feet away from Aurelia. On his side, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Leonheart, has just finished from unstrapping his Wolfdog Cairo from his chest, having attached it to him to Fast Rope. Once his paws are back on the ground, the grey canine stands at the ready, turned towards the Kyrenaians, awaiting their reactions, just like his master and the rest of the group.
"Scarlet American Imperial Guard, Alpha Squadron, starts Pavel with a deeper voice than what Aurelia might remember, because the male Colonel is using a voice modulator. Where can we find the persons named Damir ibn-Razia and Abbas Lahia? he asks the two Princesses. As he eyes them behind his shades, his eyes fall on Fara's scar across her abdomen, and the Colonel can't help but wince silently, just like the rest of the men present with him, who at this moment fear that this may happen to their wives.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 8. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

Fara and I watched with interest, how the six helicopters went into position and I knew, that Fara compared it to similar procedures with the Royal Kyrenaian Coast Guard, which they had all attended. It was a known show of skill and force, that at least once a year a volunteering vessel of the Kyrenaian Royalty, with a few of said volunteering Royalty aboard, was searched by the Coast Guard in a press event, for a number of effects.
No one was above the law, it said.
The Coast Guard was not the bed for those too stupid to join the Navy, it said.
In any case, I noted, that the Coast Guard usually only used three helicopters at most, usually only one: A medium transport helicopter, which, with the mothership in sight and gun range, fast-roped soldiers onto the highest deck. The reason for that, one of them had explained to me, was simple: Roping onto the helipad gave defenders with an itchy finger and a death wish more possible cover and for the Coast Guard open space to to try and defend.
Then they came down, one of them kneeling a few metres away. They even had two dogs with them.
"Scarlet American Imperial Guard, Alpha Squadron.", that man introduced himself, clearly using a voice modulator, "Where can we find the persons named Damir ibn-Razia and Abbas Lahia?"
I recognized the tone and cadence. Colonel Pavel Morozow had come to us to the Sun Deck.
For a moment, and I knew, that he could see it, just like we could see the wince of him as he saw and recognized Fara's scar, I contemplated ruining all his fun in the entire excercize. I had multiple ways to do so, but only one came into question for me.
"Haram Girls' Academy, Horseman Squadron, Horsearchery Team.", I introduced myself in the same manner, modulating my voice to sound deeper without a device, "I will bring you to them."
I rose, almost jumped up, which caused an interesting bit of movement at my upper torso and looked to the one kneeling basically in front of me, speaking a famous quote from a Kyrenaian movie: "Come and lay eyes on the Prince, before we go and undo him!"
If I was correct in my assumption of who he was, he would show a good reaction to that.

Work Deck.
When the knock came on the door to our storage room, where we installed ourselves, we tensed.
Maybe I should introduce myself, Captain Tarek Naqib, 61st Helicopter Brigade of the Armies of the Five Deserts. Princess Rasha, our Lady-Commander, insisted, that we would accompany her brother and her niece, as well as some others, on a diplomatic trip to the Empire of the Scarlet Eagle. I had two troops from my own Brigade under my command, plus a troop from the Fleet Ground Forces (I specifically requested a Lieutenant from them to lead alongside me) and while the onboard complement of Tabardariyya in disguise as Handmaidens was not under my command, I was on good terms with their leader.
Our... one might call it a hall on the Work Deck was actually a storage room, high enough for two rows of sleeping capsules (a 2.5 by 1.25 by 1.5 metre measuring modular fibreglass capsule with all the amenities of a small bedroom) at the aft wall. In front of that was a communal area, with chairs, benches and tables, computer workstations with access to the OEN and, a huge chest filled with many great things, like a screen for movies and a projector to accompany it.
Our lockers with our equipment stood at the bow wall, a weapon's locker large enough to pass as a walk-in clothes closet to the right of that.
We were resolved to give the guests a proper welcome, show them, what real life guard soldiers were supposed to be.
As such, we were dressed in the full Pattern 2019 Infantry Armour, dedicating us as heavy infantry, my men carrying their helmets on their heads. They were arranged in neat little blocks of ten men, the troops, with me, the Leftenant from the Fleet Ground Forces and our Sergeant standing in front of them, helmets off.
We, too, were armed to the teeth, each man having a sidearm (the old and reliable KGS-18), a combat knife, a belt with hand grenades of different models and a main armament differing from role to role.
Each troop comprised of ten men, in other armed forces, like the SDF-Army, such a formation was called a squad. These troops were led by Sergeants, with Corporals as second in command.
The Sergeant led the A Group, the Corporal the B Group. A Group consisted of the Sergeant with a KGS-21 Heavy SMG, a designated marksman with a KGS-22 Carbine, two riflemen with KGS-26 Carbines, one with an automatic grenade launcher as a side arm, the other with an automatic shotgun. B Group was the Corporal with a KGS-21 Heavy SMG, a machine gunner with a KGS-25 Light Machine Gun and a KGS-21 Heavy SMG, two riflemen with KGS-26 Carbines, one doubling as automatic shotgun wielding maniac, the other as designated AT-person.
The remaining two men were a sniper with a Alqatat Gunsmiths Munajil Anti-Material Rifle, the other his assistant and spotter, with his own KGS-22 Carbine and the job of carrying the heavy 20x82mm shells.
In addition to all that weaponry, they also carried their packs.
So, when the knock came, we tensed - we had a little surprise if our hosts wanted to storm us, nothing deadly, but a pair of flour bombs, which would coat any intruder into a thick blanket of flour. That was not necessary as they replied to my call of "Come in!" by indeed coming in.
Cautiously.
We stood at ease.
I called to their leader: "I am Captain Tarek Naqib, 61st Helicopter Brigade, detached to a diplomatic mission to the Empire of the Scarlet Eagle. We were ordered to cooperate with the local coast guard authorities or their administrative assistance." I let a beat pass. "Please identify yourself."
If that was the Emperor of this bunch, we had another set of orders then if that was one of his boyfriends.

When Pavel hears Aurelia try to reply with a deep voice, he snorts, resulting in a very strange sound coming out of the modulator.
"All right then, lead the way Miss. 3-5, you stay here, he adds to Major Thomas Eslick.
-Roger that Sir! replies the Major, his voice not transformed by a modulator.
And so, while Pavel, followed by Alpha 3 and 4, go behind Aurelia, the blonde man, sits in front of Fara, on the chair that Aurelia just left.
"If I may ask, asks the blonde man behind his balaclava, are you not feeling cold Princess?"

Meanwhile, Anaximander, as well as his Alpha 1 and 2, after having landed on the helipad, have found their way to the Work Deck, more specifically the Escorts Quarters.
Having followed the instructions of the Kyrenaians, the Emperor had knocked on the door, before entering slowly, but with his rifle raised nonetheless, followed by his Squads.
As his men start to disperse inside the room, examining it (and the men inside) in detail, he approaches Captain Naqib.
"I go by many indicatives, replies the Emperor in Kyrenaian, before switching back to English, but I usually go by either Eagle 1, or Anaximander. And as you already know, my wife and I lead ths nation, and you are our guests.
All right people, he continues as he turns to the rest of the soldiers, the Alphas having finished to look around, here's what gonna happen. Everyone gets his papers out, including medical ones. Then, Charles, Norman and I will sample some B Lymphocytes from you lymph nodes, the ones from your neck. This is to bring them back, so we can put them in culture and have them react with the Green Poison, so that we can vaccinate you in two days. Any questions?" he finishes.

Finally, concerning Anna's Squadron, Catherine, Patricia, Alexandra "Sasha", and Ophelia, lead their squads on Deck 3,4,5 and 6, and proceed to control everything and everyone who they meet.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 8, descending to Deck 7. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

I heard the question of one of Pavel's soldiers and caught Fara's reply, which made me snort. She simply replied: "No, young man, I am not cold. Thank you for asking, though. This is a actually quite warm compared to another place I once was in a bikini."
I knew, that Fara had served in Jalid, but when there was a bit of Aragh in our systems, I would have to ask her, why she once found it fitting to wear a bikini in that cold place...
In any case, as we had descended the stairs, I turned to the small group's leaders, seeing from the corner of my eye as one of their troops was checking a pair of Handmaidens, who did as we had been ordered: Handing over the papers before the question was even finished.
They wanted to control, they would get something to control, including the newest model of Kyrenaian passport, in service since last year, the ones with the small data chip.
In any case, I led them further down the hallway, away from the bridge, towards the door, which said Owner's Suit.
But there were also two other doors, which were of importance, one leading to our destination.
I knocked on the right one, heard a reply in Kyrenaian and opened it, going in before anyone else.
"Father, the Imperial Coast Guard's administrative assistance is aboard and wishes to speak with you.", I announced.
Inside, there was a lounge as one would expect it: Good carpet (and one, which was easy to clean), bookshelves lining one wall, comfortable arm chairs and sofas around a table. There was a bowl with sweets on the table.
Father sat in one of the armchairs, golden eyes and a mop of brown hair, dressed in a lounge suit, although the jacket had been shed. He was an impressive figure in his own right, tall, strong, intelligent. And currently reading, The Lord of the Rings as the title of the book he read clearly announced.
On one of the sofas, Admiral Lahia had placed himself, the strong man with the broad shoulders and the fill beard, as well as the piercing red eyes, looked over to the door. I knew, that he was only looking, relatively neutrally, but people unused to him might think, that he was glaring at them, a bit like a scientist on a bad day glared at the insect under his microscope.
I knew him, I had danced with him (and as good as he was at Kyrenaian Footvolley, he was not much of a dancer) and I knew not to flinch.
"Good evening, officers.", Father said and reached into one of his pockets, "My papers are here. Admiral?" The flag officer reached into his own jacket and placed the passport and the medical passport on the table without a word. "Would the gentlemen care for a glass of water?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the Handmaiden, which stood at the ready for that purpose.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

I let the heels of my boots click as the leader introduced himself as our host, my men, as if by a silent command, snapping to attention and shouldering their rifles, a gesture of respect.
Hearing what he imagined to happen in the next few minutes, I nodded.
"Right this way, Your Imperial Majesty.", I said in a neutral tone, speaking English, speaking professionally, stepping to one of the tables. There, a suitcase stood. "This suitcase contains all our ID documents, medical documents and a loadout manifest of this detachment. In order to facilitate easier communication, these documents are both in English and in Kyrenaian." I let a beat pass. "As for samples of our B Lymphocytes, Your Majesty will not be forced to take them, as they already have been taken this morning by the onboard doctor. You will find him in the sickbay. In addition..."
I reached into one of my belt's pockets, taking out an envelope.
"...these are my Orders.", I spoke, "And those of my men. They are, given to me by the Sultana Herself, to protect and safeguard the Prince and the Princesses at all costs, Admiral Lahia having requested to not be included. This, I am to accomplish by coordinating with the Head of Security of this visit's planning staff." The envelope vanished in my pocket again. "If I may ask Your Majesty, who that would be?"
There was also a second part to my orders, but that would come in a moment...

Deck 8, and Deck 7
Pavel, upon entering the Lounge with his men, does not say anything at first. He simply extends his arm in the Handmaiden's direction, in a hold and wait movement, before shutting off his modulator, and speaking into his throat microphone.
"Alpha Actual to all, Top intervention."
With that said, he closes the distance with Damir, before grabbing him by the right arm, and swiftly putting him in an armlock, then gently but firmly, bringing him to the ground.
Once that is done, he grabs the Prince's other arm, and reunites the two behind his back, then takes a small white plastic band that was sticking out from behind his right shoulder, and that happens to be a ziptie, before attaching the two arms together. Once that is done, he takes out the papers from the pocket that Damir showed him, uts them on the table for later inspection, and starts to palpate the Prince, to check if he has other things on him.
"How do you appreciate our newest massage technique, Damir? he asks with a joking tone.
Meanwhile, Ppatrick Leonheart has approached Admiral Lahia, his hand resting on his pitol on his thigh. Beside him, Cairo stands in an attentive position, ready to pounce on the Admiral should he be threatening to his master.
"Stand up, Admiral, says Alpha 3's Squad Leader. Arms and legs extended."

Work Deck
"Good, good, replies Anaximander as he shows the suitcase to Alpha 2, who proceed to open it, and start checking the contents. As for the medical samples, can one of you call the infirmary and tell the doctor to bring it to the helipad? When my wife and Yuri will land, we'll load it in one of their MH-6.
As for the Head of security, he continues, that depends if you consider the global level, or the operational level. For us, the global level means all the external defenses. Streets blocked, snipers on rooftops, etc. This is handled by my father in law, General Konstantin Melnik.
As for the operational level, which is the close protection of the VIPs, this is handled by Anna, Alicia, Pavel and I."
As he finishes, he looks at the table, and strokes it for a oment, as if he was deep in thought.
"I have to tell you, he continues after a sigh, I'm both happy and unhappy about this situation. Happy that now, you're finally able to understand why we are so adamant to bring our own security along. Except that in my case, my father didn't survive his assassination attempt. Some people say it's considered a natural death for a monarch to be assassinated, he adds with a sad chuckle, but if we can avoid it... And I'm unhappy for the same reasons, because of what happened to the Princesses. But I promise you, on everything that I hold dear, that nothing will happen.
So, now that we 're here, can you show us quickly the rest of the deck, so we can be done with it?" finishes the Emperor.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 8, descending to Deck 7. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

As Pavel hogtied Dad, he endured it with calmness, even a bit of a smile, just like us having expected something like that.
Then he was on the ground and Pavel joked: "How do you appreciate our newest massage technique, Damir?"
He grinned upwards at him with a bit of confusion. "That's new for you, Colonel Morozov? That's an old hat for me... could you make it, say, three ticks tighter, please?" He then looked to me. "By the way, Aurelia, you owe me a bottle of Aragh!"
Having watched the banter between Pavel and Damir, the Admiral then turned to the soldier with his hand on his weapon, smiling slightly.
He then nodded. "Sure... officer.", he said - officer as in officer of the law, thus making it undeniably clear, that he was following the 'request' because the young man represented the law as he was there providing administrative assistance to the Coast Guard, not because he was an Alpha. He got up, feet shoulder-wide apart, hands apart at his sides, clearly visible. "Do you want me to do star jumps? They're good for warming up!"
Pavel would, meanwhile, find out, that Damir not only held his own papers, but mine as well. In my medical papers, there was a note, saying, that I was in psychlogical treatment.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"With duest of respect, Your Majesty...", I replied, "...I would prefer to not be here either. But this is the fate Manat had in store for us as she weaved the Great Tapestry, so it remains to us to do the best with the Time given to us."
I could go on and explain, that ever since the ascension of Razia-Sultana to the throne, the foreign diplomacy of the Sultanate had been focused on trust and trusting, including with the protection of Kyrenaian Dignitaries, but that would lead to nowhere.
Fact was, that it happened and our presence was the reaction. I hoped, however, that we would be able to avoid becoming as paranoid, though.
"As for the samples, I will send one of my Groups to fetch them and deliver them.", I requested politely, "As for the rest of the deck, please follow me. Leftenant Shawish, please hold down the fort while we do that?"
The man with the insignia of the Fleet Ground Forces saluted crisply.

Deck 7, Lounge
"It's an old one for us too, replies Pavel, but an new one as using it for massage. Well, if you insist, he adds as he tightens the ziptie by five ticks, before grabbing his other one from his back, bending Damir's left leg, and attaching it to the first ziptie with his secind one. Now that's better. If you want, I can give you a blindfold too. By the way, for the Aragh, be sure to bring some bottles for tomorrow night, since we'll have a party for celebrating everyone's final qualifications as fighter pilots. And of course, most importantly, Anax's and Catherine's medical theses."
With that said, he takes the papers from the Prince's pocket, before handing' them to David Hankins, Alpha 2-2 As the medic starts to inspect the papers, Pavel nods to Maximilian Doppler, Alpha 4 Leader, prompting the man to leave the lounge with his squad to inspect the lower deck, leaving only the male Morozov and Alpha 3 (minus Thomas still with Fara) in the room.
With that done, Pavel continues to pat Damir up and down, searching for anything else, as Patrick replies to Admiral Lahia.
"That won't be necessary, Admiral, says the male Leonheart before starting to search the Admiral. And thanks for your cooperation. I know you only consider me as an officer of the law, and that's perfectly fine. From where I stand, I would have more to learn from you than you would have to learn from me."
However before he can continue, he's interrupted by David, who mutters a "Fuck" under his breath.
"What's wrong man? asks William Foster, Alpha 3-3.
-Aurelia is under Psy T, replies Alpha 3's medic, referring in military slang to psychological treatment.
-Well, welcome to the club Princess, says Anthony Tingle. With what happened two months ago, that's was bound to happen.
And that's why this is a perfect proof that you can't trust fascists, thinks David. I wonder if Princess Fara is under the same treatment, he says, before turning to the Admiral. Say Admiral, did you ever do a rectal examination? As you know, it's recommended for people over fifty years to do one regularly, to check for prostate cancer and the like."

Work Deck
"Yeah, I understand that, replies Anax, but with all due respect to Manat, that does not mean you can alter the pattern to your liking, if you can. Anyway, the delivery of the samples can wait until we've finished. All right, Alpha 2, with me. Phillip, you stay here and explain your part.
-Roger that, replies Alpha 1's leader before speaking loudly. All right everyone, listen up! Concerning tomorrow's transfer to the Palace, you will ride in Chevy Suburbans in the motorcade, 5 men per car. They will be driven by Imperial Guards, so we don't have to worry about misunderstanding of procedures and the like if something happens. Not to mention the fact that we don't know anything about your skills in evasive driving
And also, for tomorrow night, we're organizing a big party to celebrate the fact that now, all Alphas are now qualified as fighter pilots. And most importantly, my wife and Anax medical theses. Me and the other Squad leaders will play some songs, so if one of you wants to sing something, or have a song you would like to be played, just let us know now. That would be all."
With that said, Phillip joins his squad in inspecting the Kyrenaian soldier's papers.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

When Pavel tightened the ziptie by five ticks, Dad was tempted to tell him, that five was actually better and that he had his thanks (I knew that look in his eyes), but then, the Colonel decided to add his leg to the mix.
Dad called himself quite flexible (not as flexible then me, at least not in the water), but it was a tad uncomfortable, as he looked. He still had to grin.
Pavel was just too predictable.
Meanwhile, the Admiral was pleasantly surprised. He would have thought, that the Imperials would be quite a bit ruder to him, considering, that Admiral Shirin Mawja had been his own pupil, for a time. Still, the young soldier would find nothing out of the ordinary, except maybe his pipe.
"Well, officer, ever since my twentieth birthday, when I was part of the Navy, I was checked from my toes to my hairline. That examination..." He gave a small smile. "...was always part of it. Why do you ask?"
As someone mentioned me being in Psy T, as they called it, I nodded.
"I twas a fun and pleasant visit, let me tell you that before you get any wrong ideas. Lourdes and Isabella are nice young women, who I gladly call my acquaintances. Still..." I let a beat pass. "...the attempt left me with a light case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Nothing too grave, a few nightmares, a few small, other things, but nothing too grave. And I prefer counselor to the happy pills, believe me!"
"No wonder.", Damir said from the ground, "The counselor ordered you..."
"Say, Pavel...", I began with more force and strength in my voice then maybe necessary, interrupting Dad, "...would you be willing to make that blindfold into a gag?" I then looked to the Admiral. "By the way, are you going to frisk search me, too?"

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

The soldiers listened to the procedure of the transfer as it was laid out, the Leftenant translating and repeating it into Kyrenaian when he had finished. Thing was, they had no idea about the procedures, something they would have to change, and evasive driving was not their strong suit, at least not in cities. They were airmobile infantry, not bodyguards.
As for the party, it remained to be seen, if we would even attend in any sort of capacity, but the gesture was nice.
Meanwhile, I led the Emperor and his group down to an adjacent storage room, just as large as the barracks, which had a small area set aside for sports equipment and was, for the remainder, filled with cargo: There were three armoured limousines (which would now, most likely, not see any use), two containers marked as military supplies (their contents were listed in the cargo manifest), plus four extra special toys: Disc throwers, like they were used for clay pigeon shooting, which showed quite easily one of their favourite past times.
Clay pigeons were, of course, included.
Also in that cargo room was the Harira, the proud little yawl, which was officially the smallest flagship the Sultanate ever had. Her mast was folded down, a large tarp covered her, but that was no issue, she was ready otherwise.
That was the second of four large storage rooms on the Work Deck.

Deck 7, Lounge
"I only ask that because, as a medic, it is my duty to make sure you are in good health, replies David with a smile behind his skull balaclava. And from what I'm reading on your medical records, he adds with a chin movement to the paper he's currently holding he's in his hand, there's nothing unusual."
In the meantime, Patrick has finished searching the Admiral, having only found his pipe, who he has put aside on the table. As for his thoughts about the Alphas being ruder, they may have, but considering he wasn't Admiral Mawja, and the fact he was a guest of state, they weren't going to disrespect him. (Not like a certain Kyrenaian Captain, who had done this to the Empress last July, and who had attracted the ire of the female Alpha, as well as the Emperor.)
"Oh, but we're not saying that it was an unpleasant visit, Princess, replies Anthony. As long as you had fun, that's the most important thing. If I can give you a small advice, who you may have already heard from Anax's or Pavel mouth, to get rid of your dark thoughts, hit a punching bag with all your force until you do not see it anymore. Although, if I may add, try to have your lover on hand afterwards, because for some reasons, everytime we try it, we found ourselves wanting to do the thing right after.
-Maybe it's related to the release of endorphins in your system, says a feminine voice.
As all the heads turn towards the entrance of the room, they are met with two other Alphas, one of 1.89m and carrying a Winchester Extreme Defender shotgun, the other of 1.80m and carrying a P90.
"I heard something related to a gag, says the voice of the taller woman, a voice Damir and Aurelia will instantly recognize as Alicia's voice.
-Exactly honey, replies Pavel, who has finished frisking Damir, andhas lifted him to lie him on the table. Apparently, the dear Prince here was trying to say something that, in my opinion, is only appropriate in a psychologist office, and thus is bound by medical secrecy.
-Not something good to do, Damir, replies Alicia with a small chuckle, before turning to Aurelia. It's good to see you again, Aurelia. This is Catherine, Alpha 1-1
-A pleasure Princess, replies the smaller woman (but still taller than Aurelia by 5 centimeters). If I remember correctly, you're the one we girls have to thank for the massage techniques. Anyway, I would be the one to frisk you, if that answers your question. Can I start with these? she finishes as she puts her two gloved hands near the Princess's mammaries.

Work Deck
Unbeknownst to the Kyrenaians, their attend at the party the following day had already been decided. As Anax had said earlier in the day: Fun is mandatory!
And so, while the Emperor, followed by the 4 men of Alpha 2, goes with Captain Naqib to an adjacent storage room, Phillip and his squad continue their paper inspection, stamping passports and the like.
As Anaximander and his squad inspect the contents of the room, they do not comment on it, until Mark Vitela lifts the tarp covering the Harira.
"Wait, isn't this the boat that carried the Sultana back in Sinope? asks the young Major.
-It is, replies Anax, and I admit, I would gladly see how it is inside. Pavel, he continues as he speaks in his throat microphone, ask Aurelia if we can visit her small vessel, it's in storage."

"Roger that, replies Pavel over his radio to his friend's request, before turning to Aurelia, who has not yet has her boobs frisked by Catherine. Aurelia, Anax and his group stumbled on the Harira in storage, and would like to know if they can see inside, just to look."

As all the heads turn towards the entrance of the room, they are met with two other Alphas, one of 1.89m and carrying a shotgun, the other of 1.80m and carrying a P90.

Deck 7, Lounge
"Roger that, replies Pavel over his radio to his friend's request, before turning to Aurelia, who has not yet has her boobs frisked by Catherine. Aurelia, Anax and his group stumbled on the Harira in storage, and would like to know if they can see inside, just to look."

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

I heard the young officer reply to the Admiral, to which he nodded and gave a small smile. It was a great health benefit to train the Footvolley Team of Carrier Group 5, apparently.
Still, when Alicia and Catherine arrived, and Dad has been hauled up to the table, I grinned. Especially when Catherine asked me, if I had taught a few massage trick and was about to start the frisk search.
"You're very welcome. I take, that you made good use of the tricks I showed you?", I asked Alicia and nodded to Catherine. A grin spread on my face as she prepared for the search of myself. But before we could begin, a radio call came in from one of the cargo rooms, where my little boat sat and waited. I did not need long to decide. "Please relay to Anax, that I would prefer it to show her to them myself, it'll be more fun that way! Including a small trip on her under sails, if he wants."
I then nodded to Catherine - she could start with the frisk search.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"It indeed is the Harira.", I told the Imperials, smiling myself, "A brave little boat. Built for coastal waters, still made the trip to the UIS. Love indeed conquers all."
I smiled slightly.
"Even if it is the ocean itself.", I added.

"Roger that, replies Pavel before relaying the message to Anaximander. Meanwhile, Catherine just feels Aurelia breasts, before stepping back, since the Princess is wearing a bikini, leaving not many places to hide things. However, she nods to Patrick. Upon seeing that, the male Alpha Squad Leader whistles, prompting his Wolfdog, Cairo, to look at him, panting slightly with his tongue hanging from his mouth. Patrick then proceeds to kneel, before grabbing a sweet from the bowl on the table, unwrapping it and giving to his dog, with a small scratch behind the ears.
Once that is done, he points to Aurelia, more specifically her lower area. Cairo, in reaction, approaches the Princess, and starts sniffing around her genitalia.
"Sorry Aurelia, says Alicia, standard security check. Since us women have a cavity there, only the Spirits know what we can hide in there, she adds with a smile behind her balaclava.
However, before she can continue, she puts her left hand to her ear, showing she's receiving a transmission.
-Roger that, we're in the lounge, she replies before letting her hand dop back at her side. Anna and Yuri are landing now, she adds to the Kyrenaians, knowing the other Alphas have also received the transmission.

"Wilco, replies the Emperor over his radio to Pavel, before nodding to his men, who let the tarp fall back over the Harira. You're right Captain, he adds to Tarek, love conquers all, whether it's the ocean or an old Dreadnought, he adds with a small chuckle, referring to the Sultana's nickname, who was relayed to him by his grandfather.
Anyway, now that we're done here, let's move on to the next room, if you will."

Satisfied, that the security check came up empty, but also grinning for a few reasons, Aurelia made an "Aw... and I left the AT-Dildo back home...", she said and resisted the urge to extend her hand to pet the Wolfdog. "He's a good boy, though."
Hearing, that Anna and Yuri were about to land, Aurelia nodded.
"Please tell them, that they should ask Fara to lead them here.", she asked of Catherine, before she looked at the dog, who would not find anything out of the ordinary, except, that she was a female and that doing it without a condom would be a bad idea for the next few days - or worse then usual, as Aurelia was a responsible adult. "Does he need to check the backside, too? Or only the front cavity?"

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"We from the Army actually prefer 'the Old Lady from Utica with the steel knee'.", I told the Imperials as I motioned for them to follow me towards the center hallway. "It's a long story how she got that one, but it's a meme for us."
Back in the hallway, he opened the door opposite to them, leading into a large storeroom, same size as the other one.
There were few things of note in here, besides a pair of shipping containers, namely furniture and moving boxes. Lots of either. In the cargo manifest, they were marked as designated for the Embassy, which was still not completely furnished.
The cargo manifest for this room would also specify, that there were a number of smoking herbs and teas loaded in this section, plus toys for a Sand Wolf of unspecified nature.

"That won't be necessary, since they're landing on the helipad, replies Pavel as the sound of one of the MH-6 gets louder by the second, indicating his approach. Besides, if either of them see her scar, they're gonna wince just like us. And as for Anax, he's surely gonna faint.
-As for checking your backside, yes he must, replies Patrick as Cairo now sniffs the Princess's rear. If you want to pet him, you're free to do so once we're finished, but be sure to extend your hand for him to sniff first.
-As for an AT-Dildo, asks Catherine, really girl? asks the female Lieutenant Colonel with a small chuckle.

Work Deck
The men follow Tarek into the next room, and start to inspect the cargo there. However, after a few seconds, Charles starts to laugh.
"What's so funny man? asks Edward Hinkle, Alpha 2-2
-Nothing, just the fact that they are using this yacht as a container ship, replies Alpha 2's medic. Not that I have anything against it, but it's the first time I see a head of state being a mover for his Embassy." finishes the Major.

Deck 8, Sundeck
Meanwhile, Thomas Eslick, Alpha 3-5, who had stayed behind with Fara, letting her read while he was looking around, suddenly sees one of the MH-6 stabilize a few feet over him, while the other lands on the helipad. A few seconds after, Yuri jumps from the helicopter, and lands while making a roll over his shoulder, ending up kneeling, his M110 at the ready.
"Hey man, says Alpha 2-1 to his colleague, before setting his eyes on Fara. An honor to meet you Princess. I hope you had a pleasant trip coming here, he adds, before his eyes spot her scar, making him swallow his saliva in silence, fearing for Patricia. I'm going to mee the others inside, you coming man? he asks to Thomas
-Sure, replies the Major. You coming Princess?" he finishes as he asks Fara.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.

"So, like with Aldhiyb.", I said with a small smile, turning my head to look over my shoulder, all in order to watch the magnificent canine sniff my arse. I hope, he liked the smell, but there would be nothing for him to fetch either. "And yes, AT-Dildo."
I let a beat pass.
"The Chandshar runs through many possible ways to assassinate us with the Tabardariyya and they plan the defenses accordingly. The evergreens, from bombs to snipers, are already known, so they one day decided to get creative.", I recollected, "And every now and again, we are informed about... special ways to end us. One of them went like this: Someone, somehow, smuggles a dildo into my chambers, a specially prepared one. One, which has in its head a shaped charge." I shuddered for a moment. "So, I use the device for a while and nothing happens and then, one day, the shaped charge goes off right as I am using the device. The resulting explosion would splatter my hips all over the place and drive a five centimetre tungsten rod through my body at ludicrous speed. The end."
I let a beat pass.
"As shaped charges are also used to defeat armoured vehicles, the Chandshar dubbed the device the AT-Dildo.", I finished, grinning a bit by now.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"Actually, Prince Damir is not the Head of State.", I corrected, "He's a Prince, has a shot and a chance at becoming it, but right now, he isn't. The Sultana is the Head of State."
I let a beat pass.
"As for this vessel being a freighter as well as a yacht..." I shrugged. "The Prince insisted, saying, that it saved costs, and that was the end of that."

On the Sun Deck.
Indeed, Fara had read as best as she could, but when Yuri dropped from his chopper, she waved.
He spoke, when the little aircraft was up again, first something to his colleague, then to her: "An honor to meet you Princess. I hope you had a pleasant trip coming here..." He trailed off, when he spotted her scar and went with his colleague the moment he could.
"It was my pleasure!", Fara called after them, then returned to her book with a small smile.
She hoped, that they wouldn't get lost in the hallways...

As Aurelia finishes her story, the male Alphas look at each other behind their shades.
"Well, this is an interesting story, says Pavel, but I'm feeling kind of weird now.
-Me too, replies David. It's slightly erotic, but morbid at the same time. It reminds me of this hentai game we played once as teens, where a succubus ends up sucking the life force of a guy, and killing him by fucking too much with him.
-That's also what I had in mind, continues Patrick.
-What is it that I'm hearing about dildos and shaped charges? asks a female Alpha with the voice of the Empress as she enters the room, M110 across her chest. Soon after, she's followed by Yuri and Thomas, who have gone down from deck 8.
-Well, Aurelia was just explaining to us a joke about an AT-dildo, which is an possible way to assassinate her, by using a shaped charge, explains Alicia to her friend.
-Well, replies Anna, if the Tarbardariyya and the Chandshar aren't able to find it before it explodes, then it's a good question of why the Sultana pays them.
Anyway, good evening Aurelia! she continues as she turns to the Princess, before grabbing her in a bear-hug. Good to see you again, and in good shape. I hope the visit in Lux didn't left too many marks.
-She's under Psy T, says David.
-Oh! Well, anyway, good to see you too Damir, she adds to the Prince, restrained and lying on the table. Admiral, she adds with a nod.
-You're supposed to kneel at this point, whispers Patrick as he elbows Abbas.
-So, did you took care of Fara? asks the Empress to the rest of the Alphas present.
-Well, we couldn't frisk her, since she's a woman, replies Thomas.
-Yeah yeah, I know, answers Anna, before putting her left hand to her throat, pressing on her mic. Patricia, go search Fara on Deck 8, and take Gopnik with you."

Work Deck
"Yeah yeah, I know, replies Charles. It's just that with all the occasions you see him attend, you may think he is.
-In a way, Damir is right to save costs, replies Anax. All right, we're done here. Let's move on to the next room."

Deck 8, Sundeck
As Fara has gone back to her book, Gopnik suddenly gets out from the stairs, before spoting the Princess and going towards her, his body in a posture of readiness.
-Good evening Princess, says Patricia as she emerges from the stairs a few seconds behind her dog. Lieutenant Colonel Patricia Petrenko, Empress Alpha 2-1. Can you please stand up so that I can frisk you?"
Boy, I can understand why our husbands freaked out, she thinks silently behind her shades as she eyes quickly her scar. The fucker who did this really hit his target.

Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

I grinned at their reactions - how they would react, if I told them, that there was not only a number of working prototypes, but that they also demonstrated one to me and Grandma with a crash test dummy?
In any case, when Anna arrived and gave me a bear hug, I grinned and returned it with all my might, rifle and protective equipment between us be dammed.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Lahia indeed going down to his knees, as if he was kneeling in front of the Sultana Herself, but that was another story.
Still, I grinned, especially when Dad replied: "Nice to see you, too, Anna-Schahbanou. I would offer my hand for a shake, but Colonel Morozov was so nice to show me an old restraining and new massage trick.", he spoke, then motioned to the still kneeling tower of a man. "If I may introduce, Admiral Abbas Lahia, Commanding Officer, Carrier Group 5."
"It is a great honour to be in Your Presence, Empress.", he said and bowed his head.
"And, of course, you know my daughter already.", Dad finished.
"Hi!", I greeted again with a wave, grinning widely.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

I nodded.
"Sure, come along.", I replied and led them into the fourth and last room, which turned out to be laden with freight as well.
The cargo manifest would say, that it was spare parts and workshop materials for maintenance and upkeep of the yacht and that was absolutely true. Also present were two helicopter drones, civilian twin-copters, which might remind them a bit of the Osprey in their layout. They were under tarps.

Deck 8, Sundeck.
Fara nodded, placed a bookmark in her book and put it to the side.
"Of course, Colonel, one moment, please.", she said and got up, "I heard quite a lot about you... only positive things, of course." She took the opportunity to stretch, catching her eying the scar. "I'm starting to think, that it was a bad idea to go with a bikini today if everyone is so focused onto my scar... let's just say, that it's not a happy memory."

" You may rise, Admiral, replies Anna with a . So, she continues with a clap of her hands, I hope the trip was good, and that the year started good. From what we know, it went a little bit more rock'n roll than usual, no? I have to admit, the only thing about that made us cringe a bit are the images of when you arrive first at the Palace, are welcomed by the children singing Duce!Duce!, and the smile you had at that moment. For us, it's as if you were smiling to French kids singing Maréchal, nous voilà! But since this is behind us, let's not dwell on that.
Other than that, how's the Sultana?"

Anax and his men follow Captain Naqib to the last room, and again, start to inspect the freight and the drones.
"I wonder who uses them more, Damir or Aurelia?" wonders the Emperor at the sight of the two twin-rotor copters.

"Thanks, Princess, replies Patricia to the compliments, waiting for Fara to be ready for the search. I heard many good things about you too. As for the scar, please accept our apologies for that. But if I may say, it's better for everyone to see it tonight, have a small cringe and be done with it, than discovering it tomorrow, when we'll all be together at the Palace's spa. I have an idea, do you want me to ask all the ones you haven't met yet to come here now, so that they can introduce themselves, and be done with the gawking?" asks the female Petrenko.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

I shrugged.
"Those children looked adorable, no matter what they sung.", I replied to the Empress with firmness in my voice - to be honest, I still thought, that they looked adorable. And to be even more honest, being welcomed by singing children, no matter their choice in song, was far more adorable and pleasant then indulging some oversized kids playing soldiers, who decided, that it was acceptable to have a dog sniff my crotch for explosives and then not even do a good job at frisking me. "They could have sung the newest song from Ahmar, and they would still have looked adorable."
Ahmar, Scarlet in English, was a Kyrenaian Rapper, who was well known for his... controversial and explicit texts. We won't go into details. His choice in Nom de plum had nothing to do with the Empire, though.
"As for Grandmother, she is fine.", I continued, "Mushrif is growing up healthily and he even gets along with Kalak, Awwa and Aldhiyb, so it's fine on that front as well. She also decided to stay with Azad for a few more state occasions, believe it or not!" I grinned. "Of course, the rumour mill is already running and the boulevard has a field day, but that's kind-of their job."
I let a beat pass.
"And what about you?", I asked.

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"Neither, actually.", I replied to the inquiry, "Princess Fara and Admiral Lahia use them most often, especially the Admiral. He has a whole lot of bloody fun with those things!" I grinned. "He even used one to... airlift, if you want, himself over to his flagship. It worked wonderfully!"

Deck 8, Sundeck.
Fara looked at the Ranger with a look, that spoke clearly of what she thought of the idea: Not much.
"It might be a surprise to you, but I am not a circus animal.", she spoke in no uncertain terms, "And not a porn actress either. I know, that you try make things as smooth as possible, and thank you for the effort, but parading me around and putting me on a display will not work." She let a beat pass. "Besides, it's rather unbecoming of a life guard to gawk, don't you think? Or do you want my impression of you Delta Whatever be a bunch of unprofessional perverts?"

Work Deck
"Well, that'a a thing I would have liked to see, replies the Emperor with a smile behind his balaclava. All right, we're finally done here. Captain, please call the Doctor and tell him to get the samples to the helipad. As for you, grab your men and follow us to the bow of deck 5. The open space will be enough to gather everyone, so that we may finally introduce ourselves to each other, with our true faces."
With that said, Anax calls the rest of the Alphas on his radio.

Deck 7, Lounge
"Personally, I'd rather choose Ahmar everyday, replies Yuri. I've started to listen to him, and he's not bad.
-Knowing your grandmother, continues Anna, I'm not surprised she decided to stay with him. I've always felt the kid had some energy to sell, and more.
As for what's new for us, we all underwent surgery to replace our intervertebral discs by artificial ones, and it went well. Anax fell ill in New York, and nearly died. And I'm still not pregnant, she adds with a happy tone. And I'm sure of that, because I've been implanted an IUD."
Just as she's about to continue, the Empress, as well as all the Alphas in the room, receive Anax's message in their earpieces.
"Well, I believe we'll continue this conversation during dinner. Anax just asked us to move to the bow of Deck 5, since the open space is enough for all of us to stand there, and finally introduce ourselves with open faces."
With that said, Pavel takes out his KBAR knive from his left thigh, and cuts Damir's restraints.
"You're good know, simply says the male Morozov to the Prince, as he helps him back to his feet.

Deck 8, Sundeck
"Sorry, I didn't mean to use that word, replies Patricia with a small chuckle, as she starts to pat Fara up and down. I meant look for a second, not gawk. You're right, as a lifeguard, gawking is not in our line of work, and we're not here to give you a bad impression.
However, she says with a firm tone as she suddenly presses her gloved, right middle finger in the Princess's sternum, I would highly suggest you take back the Delta Whatever from your mouth. We're not a mere Squadron, we are the Alphas, childhood friends of the Emperor and the Empress, meaning an attack on one of us is an attack on them. And if there is one thing we don't like, it's being assimilated as mere bodyguards. You wouldn't like me calling your brother only by his bad nickname the Sick Prince, do you? Well, that's the same here.
Now, with that cleared, continues the female Petrenko as she releases the pressure from Fara's sternum, moving back a little, I jusr received a message from Anax, asking for all of us to meet at the bow of the ship, on deck 5. This way, we'll all be able to introduce ourselves to each other with open faces. After you Princess, she finishes as she extends her hand towards the stairs

Work Deck.
Captain Tarek Naqib.

"I will come along with you.", I told the Emperor, "As will my Leftenant. My men will stay down here and clean their equipment and bring it back into order."
I let a beat pass, motioning for him to lead the way.
"After you.", I added.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

"Wonderful taste in music.", Lahia spoke, being the arm Damir really relied on, "You are listening to a person, and apparently liking it, who's latest single literally begins with the verse What a wonderful arse Princess Aurelia has / I want to hold it, squeeze it / Fuck the Cuntmunching right out of it / Until she throws up my gunk." He let a beat pass. "I thought, that one of your troop was capable in Kyrenaian."
I shrugged. "Well... that's a yob for you.", I spoke, utterly unbothered, then looked to my Dad with concern in my eyes. "You alright, Dad?"
He nodded, stretched his leg a little, then made the step to hug me.
I smiled. Hugs had become more common between us since Lux Pulchrae and I didn't mind. It was an assurance, that we were both still alive and kicking.
He kissed me onto the forehead and I grinned.
Then, I felt someone wrapping a jacket, quite a few times too large for my frame, around my shoulders. I grinned at the Admiral, who gave a short bow of his head, then was gone.
"Come.", Dad told me in Kyrenaian, sounding very excited, "Let's go and meet the posse."

Deck 8, Sundeck.
Fara utterly failed to be intimidated.
She had seen such behaviour many, many times in the past and while there certainly were units, which she would have given a bit of respect, the Alphas, at the moment, were not amongst them. The reason why?
Patricia.
"To be quite honest, I do not give a damn about what you call Okan. Call him whatever pleases your heart.", she said and grabbed a rash guard, a piece of clothing, from underneath the deck chair, putting it on, but leaving it open, so that her scar was still visible. "Unless for a very few certain terms, the most you might be able to get out of him will be his laughter, directed at you. And I'll follow suit."
She let a beat pass.
"However, if you want to intimidate people, I would highly suggest not starting with 'we are childhood friends of whoever'. You know why?", she continued, walking past Patricia, "Because it makes you sound unprofessional. Not only you, but your entire unit, no matter what you are. Now, come on, chop, chop!"
And with that, she began to walk down the stairs.

"All right, let's move! simply replies Anaximander as he ascends the stairs back to the upper decks, followed by Alpha 1 and 2, and the Kyrenaian officers.

Deck 7, Lounge
"Admiral, if you listened just a bit more, replies Yuri with a small hint of sarcasm in his voice, you would have heard that I just started to listen to the guy. I didn't know he said that in his last single. And from what you said, I'll be sure to keep away from it., he adds, before following Anna and the rest of the Squadron outside the room.

Deck 8, Sundeck
"Har har, replies Patricia, before sprinting behind Fara, going past her, and meeting with her squad a few stairs below, before jogging to Deck 5, with Gopnik on her tail.

And so, after a few minutes, all the Alphas meet together on the bow of Deck 5. As they align themselves in a neat line on the port side of the ship, and stand at parade's rest, Anaximander and Anna hug each other. Just like with Damir and Aurelia, Anax's disease in New York had made him crave more of his wife's presence, and vice-versa.
"All right, status report! exclaims the Empress once her husband and her have separated. Emperor Alphas, you start!
-Alpha 1, nothing unusual, says Phillip behind his balaclava. All the escort papers are correct.
-Alpha 2, same for the cargo, says Edward Hinkle.
-Alpha 3, the guests are good, continues Patrick.
-Alpha 4, the ship's crew is in good standing, nothing unusual, finishes Maximilian Doppler
-Wonderful, replies Anax. All right, girls, your turn!
-Alpha 1, Nothing to report, says Catherine.
-Alpha 2, same, continues Patricia
-Alpha 3, same, follows Alexandra
-Alpha 4, same, finishes Ophelia.
-Good, good, says Anna with a clap of her hands. So...
-Ma'am, permission to speak? asks Patricia as she raises her hand.
-Permission granted, Lieutenant Colonel Petrenko, replies the Empress.
-I fear I may have brought a bad impression of the Squadron during my interaction with Princess Fara, given the fact that in reply to her calling us Delta Whatever, I was a bit intimidating and referred to us as your childhood friends. And from her point of view, it's unprofessionnal.
-Can't say she's wrong, replies Anna, but you tried to defend your Squadron's honor, so that's good. Just remember to use better words next time. Drop down and do me fifty, she finishes, before Patricia starts doing her push ups.
Meanwhile, Anax has turned to the Kyrenaians, standing a few feet behind them.
"Fara, be a dear and forget about what she said. Since you haven't known us for long, it's a bit premature to have a clear opinion of us, no?"
The guy who did this to you sure knew his job, he simply thinks as he casts a quick glance at her scar, and not fainting like his men expected him to do.

Finally, as Anna, Pavel and Alicia join him, the Eagle Squad proceed to take off their helmets, balaclavas and shades, revealing the familiar faces that the Kyrenaians know.
However, some things have changed: Anaximander have now his hair longer, tied in a hairbun, just like Anna and Alicia. Pavel, for his part, is sportin a small goatee.
"So, what do you think of our new looks? asks the Emperor as he detaches his hairbun, letting his hair fall down to his shoulders, (ending up looking like this), while Anna and Alicia do the same, their hair falling down respectively to the middle of her back, and just below her shoulders.

Meanwhile, Pavel sends a small to Abbas, telling him to kneel before Anax, just like he did for Anna.
Their Squadrons, in the meantime, are still waiting, their faces still covered.

Alshaahin, on the Potomac.
Deck 7, Lounge. Princess Aurelia bint-Damir.

"Oh.", the Admiral made, I was already grinning, "Then you should already be familiar with one of his older albums, Kudaa. You might know it as Spit." I knew, which example was coming. The Admiral continued in a tone, that suggested he was talking about the weather. "In the title song, he sings about his member being large enough to spitroast the Khana of Las and that he would love to do that." He shrugged, still pleasantly smiling. "As said, a yob with far too little common sense and, sadly, far too many buyers."
"I would recommend Halu to you, Yuri.", I told him with a smile, preempting any further discussions. "They're nice and make good music. I know Aischa, Malika and Kaya personally, so an autograph wouldn't be a problem either."

A few minutes later, we stood at the bow, the Alphas reporting and Captain Naqib reporting to us as well. He bowed his head lightly to Dad, Fara and me and saluted to the Admiral.
Everything was in order down there and the samples were currently being brought up. So far, no issues with cooperating. As a little stinger in the right direction, the Admiral remarked, that it was only natural, he didn't ask any Sergeants for any reports, after all.
The Captain tried to withhold laughter.
When Patricia reported the little incident, we raised a few eyebrows, the Admiral, the Captain and the Leftenant from the Fleet Ground Forces keeping their expressions under control. Fara, I saw it in her eyes, might have been willing to forget about it, but when Anax told her in that condescending way, that she should be a dear and forget about it, she committed everything to memory and replied: "Maybe. First impressions are an important thing."
She also noted his glance, didn't comment.
The great, big face-reveal was a bit lackluster. Anax had grown his hair out a bit and looked like a grunge rocker, but looked almost the same, Anna and Alicia almost were the same, too.
"Eh... you look a bit like a grunge rocker.", I told Anax with a smile, "But otherwise, glad that not too much has changed!"
Dad nodded.
"Same here.", he said, not distracted by a small side-action: When Pavel motioned for Abbas to kneel, he shook his head and motioned upwards. Those familiar with Kyrenaian Courtly Protocol knew, that one only knelt with a roof over the head. The Admiral would kneel, but not now. Still, Dad clapped his hand. "So, introductions are in order, I guess."
He gave a small nod.
"Prince Damir ibn-Razia, Special Ambassador of the Sultanate of Kyrenaia. Don't worry, I'll not try to order you around only to throw a hissy-fit when that doesn't work only for a thirteen year old to knock some sense into me." He looked to Pavel. "I believe, that there was someone, who made such an experience."
I sniggered. I might only know that story by proxy, but it was hilarious.
"That sniggerbug over there...", Dad continued with a grin, "...is my daughter Aurelia." I waved. "Don't believe in her innocent looks, she has beaten you all in your own little game and you didn't even realize, that she was a contestant."
I still grinned and nodded.
"The woman, who's scar is apparently the new thing to gawk at..." Fara raised an eyebrow. "...sorry, Fara. The woman with the red eyes is Princess Fara bint-Dardan, Princess of the Ilkhanate of Megido and another Special Ambassador. She served as a Sergeant with the Armies of the Five Deserts, so try to be professional."
Fara nodded, throwing a meaningful glance at Patricia.
"Admiral Abbas Lahia.", he introduced the older man, who was a towering wardrobe, his face as if beaten out of stone, his hair turning white. "He's the commanding officer of Carrier Group Five and... something the matter?"
The Admiral was smiling with an eyebrow raised. "Let me do my own bragging, sonny."
"Yes, Sir.", Dad immediately submitted to the command, even saluted.
The Admiral returned the salute, then turned to the Alphas. "As mentioned, I am Admiral Abbis Laha, Commander, Carrier Group Five of the Sultan's Navy. And, on a side note, Trainer of the Fiver Strikers." He smiled slightly. "I received a few reports on your... exploits and I would love to see, if we can't fill in any blanks for a more complete picture of your performances."
He let a beat pass, looking over to Dad, who nodded - he should proceed.
"These two young men are Captain Tarek Naqib of the 61st Helicopters and Leftenant Amir Shawish of the Fleet Ground Forces.", he introduced, both men having taken off their helmets and nodding. Naqib was kind-of cute. "They, and their men, were ordered to cooperate with you and the security apparatus. Note, 'cooperate', not 'submit to your command'." He let a beat pass. "If there are any complaints about them, report them to me and I'll see to them."
[i]Now it all depends on you what you do with them.[/u] went unsaid but, hopefully, not unheard.
Dad smiled and nodded.
"So, with that out of the way, anyone having any question?", he asked into the round.

Corrupt Dictatorship

Postby The Scarlet Eagle » Wed Mar 06, 2019 2:20 pm

Although Anaximander did not mean at all to be condescending towards Fara, she chose to understand it that way. Letting it slide, the Emperor turns to Aurelia.
"Only on the surface, girl, he replies to her about his appearance. New Yorl took its toll on me, and I bet that's the same for you with what happened in Lux. At least, you're taking my look better than my paternal grandmother. The first time she saw me, she called me a scarecrow, says the Emperor with a small chuckle.

With that said, the Eagle Squad reacts accordingly to each of Damir's introductions of the guests.
Pavel, to start, does not reply anything to Damir's small pike.
-If yoy want to make us believe she's innocent, answers Anna about Aurelia, with a pair of knockers like that, you'll have to do better, man, says the Empress with a small laugh.
-As long as she is, I don't see why we wouldn't be, says Alicia to Fara's introduction. Glad to have you onboard, Princess.
-Ah, the Five Strikers, finishes Anax as he adresses Abbas. If I remember well, they won the cup the last four years, so congrats to you Admiral. Don't worry, I' sure we can show you some files about New York and other operations, to show you they have not earned their job by being friends with me.
Glad to have you onboard guys, he continues as he now concentrates on Tarek and Amir. I'm all for cooperation, but as you know, we'll set some ground rules first, since you'll be operating in our jurisdiction. Among them, be professionnal and respectfull of the Guards, my wife and I. The rest can be seen in due time.
As for the complaints, Admiral, fine, but I ask dor us to be in your presence when you do so. After what happened last summer between Elba and Anna, I want to be sure proper sentences are taken.
Anyway, enough blabbering, now it's our turn."
He let a beat pass, as his wife makes a step forward.

"Empress Anna "The Scarlet"Blachkov, née Melnik, says Anna as she introduces herself. Specialty, Sniper. Nicknamed the Black Widow by my Squadron. Among other things, I keep my husband's arse safe.
-Colonel Alicia Morozov, née Dipaloski, continues Alicia. Alpha Leader for Anna, and best friend, among many things. I specialize in explosives, electronics and engineering.
My husband, Colonel Pavel Morozov, specialized in Heavy weaponry, she continues as she puts her hand on her husband's shoulder. Specialized in Machine Guns and Heavy Weaponry.
-And as of this morning, interrupts Anax, Duke Pavel Morozov. He has chosen to take back his title.
As you may know, we dissolved the nobility back in 1848, he expalains to the Kyrenaians. But that only included the lands who were redistributed, not the titles properly. For a time, nobles chose to abandon their titles, but after some time, a new system was created. At birth, a person of noble blood will not be called by his title, but when he reaches his majority, and for the rest of his life, he can choose at any moment to add his title to his name, and be refered as such.
-I chose to do it two weeks ago, and now I'm Duke, just like my father before me, says Pavel with a small grin.
And this magnificent bastard here is Anaximander "The Scarlet" Blachkov, he adds as he passes an arm around his friend's shoulders. An experienced field medic and Squad leader, who does not fear to put himself in harm's way for his friends and his wife, much to their chagrin.
-Oh shut up! replies the Emperor with a smirk as he brushes Pavel's skull with his fist. Anyway, on to the rest of our big family.
-Girls, you're up! exclaims the Empress and the female Morozov to their comrades.

And so, in perfect synchronisation, the rest of the Squadrons take off their helmets, shades and balaclavas, before attaching them to their tactical vests, and putting their black berets on their heads. When all that is done, the girls, who had been standing on the right, advance one step.

"Lieutenant Colonel Catherine Smetovn née Garett, Alpha 1 Leader, Medic!
-Dorothy Whitaker née Hairston, Alpha 1-2, CQB Specialist!
-Major Melinda Mintsky née Harrington, Alpha 1-3, Marksman!
-Major Kathleen Iglesas née White, Alpha 1-4, LMG!
-Major Muriel Dempsey née Ayala, Alpha 1-5, Engineer!"

"Lieutenant Colonel Patricia Petrenko née Verdall, Alpha 2 Leader, Dog Handler! And my dog Gopnik, she adds with a pet on her dog's head.
-Major Eleanor Hinkle née Dunne, Alpha 2-2, Grenadier!
-Major Caroline Vitela née Hyde, Alpha 2-3, Medic!
-Major Fanny Shaw née Knight, Alpha 2-4, LMG!
-Major Mary Freeman née Lewis, Alpha 2-5, Explosives and electronics!"

"Lieutenant Colonel Alexandra "Sasha" Leonheart née Gallaghan, Alpha 3 Leader, Markswoman and dog handler!
-Major Karyn Hankins née Gonzalez, Alpha 3-2, Medic!
-Major Linda Foster née Sink, Alpha 3-3, Engineer!
-Major Sharon Tingle (née Martin, Alpha 3-4, LMG!
-Major Janet Eslick née Greene, Alpha 3-5, CQB specialist and scout!"

"Lieutenant Colonel Ophelia Doppler née Lovecraft, Alpha 4 Leader, Electornics and mechanic! It was us Princess, who conducted an black op in AHSCA ten years ago, she says to Aurelia.
-Major Emily Hankins née Ornick, Alpha 4-2, Markswoman!
-Major Cynthia Burch née Scott, Alpha 4-3, LMG!
-Major Sandra Burch née Watson, Alpha 4-4, Engineer!
- Major Christine Striplin née Sledge, Alpha 4-5, Medic and chemist!"

With the girls now done, Anax and Oavel nod to their men, who also advance one step.

"Lieutenant Colonel Phillip Smetov, Alpha 1 Leader, Explosives!
-Major Norman Whitaker, Alpha 1-2, Medic!
-Major Gerald Mintsky, Alpha 1-3, Electronics!
-Major Robert Iglesas, Alpha 1-4, Sharpshooter!
-Major Michael Dempsey, Alpha 1-5, CQB specialist!"

" Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Petrenko, Alpha 2 Leader, Sniper and Dog Handler with my wife!
-Major Edward Hinkle, Alpha 2-2, Engineer and Negotiator!
-Major Edward Hinkle, Alpha 2-3, LMG!
-Major Charles Shaw, Alpha 2-4, Medic!
-Major Albert Freeman, Alpha 2-5, Scout and CQB specialist!"

" Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Leonheart, Alpha 3 Leader, Marksman and Dog Handler! Our bud Cairo, he adds as he points to his dog with his chin.
-Major David Hankins, Alpha 3-2, Medic!
-Major William Foster, Alpha 3-3, Explosives and NRBC containment!
-Major Anthony Tingle, Alpha 3-4, Electronics!
-Major Thomas Eslick, Alpha 3-5, Grenadier!"

"Lieutenant Colonel Maximilian Doppler, Alpha 4 Leader, Marksman!
-Major Joseph Keyes, Alpha 4-2, LMG!
-Major James Burch, Alpha 4-3, Medic! introduces himself the first twin.
-Major John Burch, Alpha 4-4, Engineer! follows his brother.
-Major Arnold Striplin, Alpha 4-5, CQB specialist and mechanic!"

"So, that was a mouthful, finishes Pavel, but do you have any questions?"
