The drivee belowed a soft yet polite laugh before responding "Oh nothing truly ominesce! You see Port Ember is very.. different from the rest of the world. The passiom and true amount of freedom around, is sometimes.. frightning to foreigners.. so basically, in short - do not look for a fight.. the locals around here are mostly sailors or factory workers. They love to brawl and they do so all too well! Secondly, and most importantly, you need to know and understand that the Malibu is a thriving den of drugs. Hard drugs. Cocaine and the like. And its completely legal, so no freaking out and such.."

Kiana & Caja with Emily
After Emily concluded her business with her new partners, the bill was genorously settled by them and goodbye's were said. Emily had a good feeling regarding them and their prospective business. As she drove away, she started making calls to set up the shooting range for the next day. Emily laughed softly ad she drove, fondly remembering the goodbye handshakes she received. She could see that it was a weird gesture for the ladies, but honestly it was for her as well, as Port Emberian ladies hugged and kissed as a greeting normally. Oh well, she thought - cultures and customs will still rub off in the future!
Telephonic Conversation
Aurora & Azula
As Johnny spoke to Aurora, he could hear a faint smell of joy and generall niceness. Azula enjoyed that. In his world of death and violence, such softness was a welcome sight. He replied to her, stating that lunch is to take place at the Lollipop Gentleman's Club. As he said his goodbyes and ended the call he bellowed a soft laugh, wondering how a soft butterfly like Aurora will adapt in his stripclub. He laughed agaim as he dragged on his thick cigar.
The Upperdeck Hotel
Viktor Venediktov
Jonathan processed the payment quickly, afer which he provided Mt Venediktov with his room key. "Third floor, room 322 sir. Its on the left - with a beautifull ocean view! Feel free to use the facilities of the hotel, which includes the restuarant and bar, gym, sauna, swimming pool and the spa. Please enjoy your stay and welcome to Port Ember!"
Jonathan made quick work of calling closer a porter, who whisked away Viktor's luggage to his room.
The Orcadian Embassy - Lilly Black Borough
As the hour long speeches continued, President Flint sat still and smiled softly the entire time, only nodding at thr appropriate times. It was a boring but neccesary turn of events which had to be endured. The thanks and praises given however, felt good obviously, and the President knew how good it made Port Ember look on the world stage. To think, a nation giving praises to their former colony, accepting them as their equal. Port Ember has come a long way...
As the speeches ended, the President and the First Lady rose from their seats and stood next to Ian Gordon, ready to commece with the ribbon cutting ceremony. Joani stood next to her husband, arms intertwined.
en Route to the Upperdeck Hotel
Oakki and Finja
The cab driver let out another soft laugh. He was excited to hear of more free nations, as it was a scarce commodity. The driver himself did not care for drugs, he never used and never would. He however held the right to choose for himself as a sacred act. The government - any government had no right to tell its people whats wrong or right. He finally replied after snapping free from his deep thoughts
"Oh offcourse! The drugs is a mere enhancement to the joint. You will find excellent music, company and world renowned beer, rum and coctails available. We Port Emberians have quite the reputation for brewing quality beer and rum!"

Fish. Seemed fitting enough, considering his location. "Thank you for the suggestion." Viktor responded, noting the unusual look she was giving him. He partially dismissed the thought, while his inquisitive side of hi brain told him to ask another question before calling the hostess back. "So," he began using the tone his father used to make people feel at ease, a skill Dad had learned at the "Academy" as he called it. "Why are you are here?" Viktor knew he was traipsing around a minefield asking that sort of question.

"Of course! How silly of me. Let us begin again." Viktor cleared his throat "what is your name? My name is Viktor Ilyich Venediktov. Ilyich is my father's name by the way."

"Royalty? Bah." Viktor scoffed. "We overthrew our royalty in 1928, in a war of liberation for the working classes." To most Karevkans monarchs, along with fascists, were the worst forms of imperialism and oppression. Viktor shifted from ideological views back to names "So Caja means the Pure One in your language? In comparsion the name Viktor is lame." Really, it was.

Viktor sifted through his memory before finally saying "I believe it means conqueror, borrowed from Latin I think." He read that in a book while in university which he found strange at the time considering his parent's desire to keep him out of the armed service. A thought went click in his head. "Mother always said she picked the name, she was a medic in the National Army after all. My father on the other hand worked for the State Security Directorate, though he never talked much about it. Most he ever said was that he worked in the basement."
