The agent's observed and admired the impressive truck which stood proudly in the driveway, in all its glory. Port Emberians in general held great interest and admiration to a well build machine, and this Scania truck was one fine example of a well build machine.

As the agents were greeted from behind a half-closed door by Evan, they were asked for proof of identity. This request was not even remotely strange or rude. The agents were quite used to it, and respected the request. Life was precious afterall. The agents quickly took out their badge-wallet and held it up to the door, clearly reflecting their status as Secret Service Agents. The badges identified them as Agents Riley and Peters. The badges dispayed an ID photo and a badge number. Agent Riley responded: "Mr Snyder, feel free to call our head office to confirm our identity via our badge numbers. And good morning Sir."

Penny and Evan - At home
"good morning and thank you sir" says Evan as he took the details and reached for the phone to make a confirmation call, it was only then that he then returned to the agents, "just let me close the door a second so i can get the security brace off".

Evan then closes the door to pop the latch off before reopening it,
"sorry about that" he says as Penny makes her way to the door in a blue cocktail dress. Evan looks at Penny, "well babe, lets go" he says, stepping outside and gently leading Penny who makes one last momentary check before closing the door behind her.

Evan gives a glance up the street, he suspects the new neighbours may be watching as he holds the car door open for Penny as she gets in to the car followed by Evan. Once in the car Evan pulls out the phone out of his pocket and makes a call.

Nick warszinski picks up the phone.
"Good morning, Ambassador Warszinski speaking" he says

"Morning Nick, we're on our way" replies Evan, "and we got an escort in a plain wrapper too" his Californian accent somewhat evident

"how long Evan?"

"bout twenty minutes I would say". says Evan, glancing occasionally through the window. Evan however doesn't reveal the route however.

Upperdeck Hotel
Mike Haze

Two matt black Reaver Super Diamond vehicles pulled up in front of the Upperdeck Hotel, and out climbed a dark suited man from each vehicle. The vehicle's and suited men held a distinctive new car smell.

Mike Haze received an SMS as soon as the men stopped, which read: "Good morning Mr Haze. Your ordered vehicles have arrived at the Upperdeck Hotel, awaiting to be signed over to you. Kind Regards - Reaver Industries."

En Route to the Lilly Black Borough
Evan & Penny

The two agents escorting and transporting Penny & Evan did their jobs in silence, not speaking a word to each other or their guests. Noticable however, was that they each had an earpiece attached to their left ears, constantly monitoring radio transmissions from their headquarters.

The vehicle moved at a reasonable fast pace, which did not attract attention since there was no speed limits on the roads - and they followed back-streets, clearly planned ahead before hand. It was clear that the safety and privacy of Penny & Evan was being taken seriously. They approached their destination quickly - the Orcadian Embassy in the Lilly Black Borough.

Upperdeck Hotel, Mike Haze and Vernon Miller

Vernon spent the whole morning researching for real estate to buy. The group discussed various subjects in the room with Mike giving instuctions to his men. The afternoon came and Mike received a SMS from Reaver Industries.

"Ok guys our cars are here" He stands up putting on his jacket and four of his men get ready to follow up. After exiting the hotel Mike saw the vehicles. "They are some beauties" he said to himself then approached the suited men "Thank you gentlemen, my crew will take them from here. It's been a pleasure doing business with ya." He signed the needed papers, received the keys and got into the first car and just sat inside smelling the essence of new. Just some seconds later Vernon and the rest of the men got outside of the hotel entrance

"Mike i got info about a potential real estate. We should go see it. I told the guys to get the bags into the trunks"

Mike looked him up. He smiled and got out of the driver's seat. "Okay let's take a ride in our new babies." he said as he enter the seat beside the driver while his men loaded the money bags into the trunks and then entering the cars too. Vernon entered the second car and got the lead to show the way.

Mike noticed the radio in the car and used it to communicate with the lead car
" Hey can you guys hear me? I didn't have radio in my cars even in California. We should buy more cars like these."

Vernon responded after a couple of seconds
" Yeah i hear you. They are amazing. They got balllistic glass which can resist projectiles and especially gunfire, bulletproof bodywork that keeps everyone inside safe of any bullet, Foam filled gas tank which i guess saves us fuel, run flat tires which actually as it says keeps us going while we may have flat tire, additional battery pack, radio system which we are currently using, reinforced bumpers and as i saw in the trunk, two fire extinguishers."

" Did you just read the order form? Mike responded "Anyway where are we heading?"

" Suburbia in Waterstad. Don't ask more i can't answer with confidence. We will see."

AAfter reaching Suburbia the group noticed that things got a lot calm and quieter. On the road Vernon noticed a real estate office

"We will pull up here boss"

The two cars pull up outside the office. Everyone got out.

"Okay me and Vernon will go inside. You guys stay here to guard the cars and the money. " Mike said to his crew and entered the office with Vernon

Lex Skoropadsky
Golden Lady Bank

Lex and his driver, Malinkov, got out of the vehicle and headed to the entrance of the Golden Lady Bank. Malinkov was carrying two briefcases. The payment received from Azula had been paid both before and after the transactions, and now it was time to deposit. The two men crossed the street and entered the bank through the great double oak doors. The glamorous marble interior shone bright with the reflection of the marvelous chandelier, which hung high above in the near endless heights of the bank. The duo approached the bank teller.

"Lex Skoropadsky, here to make a deposit. 18 million aurums in total. Transfer the funds to my Geneva account"

Malinkov put the cases on the counter. AS he was doing this, Lex got a text from one of his guards back at the house. It read as follows: "Boss, we got a newcomer moving into one of the houses near us. Word is a whole gang pulled up in front of the real-estate office."

Lex quickly typed back: "Keep an eye on them. Might just be a local crime lord."

Mark Armitage
Upperdeck Hotel

After the check-in, Mark headed up to his penthouse suite. He unlocked the door and went inside, with the porter bringing the rest of his luggage inside the room.

"Thank you, my good man. Here is your tip"

As the porter left the room, Mark began to unpack and store all of the things that he had brought with him. After he was done, he turned on the TV and began watching the news.

Penny and Evan - heading to the Embassy
Evan slid his arm around Penny, leaning into her slightly
"i can see that we may have problems with paparazzi at the Embassy, hope not though" said Evan, quietly

"Maybe. it also has its advantages though, but sometimes it can be a bit of a curse, where ever ya go, a camera shoved in ya face by some red - top journalist. Hopefully when we get back we won't have them camping at home or following us around when we start working again after the event..." replies Penny, glancing out of the window of the scenery out of the window. "...and I wander who our neighbours are? hope they don't mind the rig parked outside given its a residential zone"

"its possible they may complain Penn, however lets not let that worry us as after this embassy do we're gonna be working a lot so probably won't be home quite so much and I predict that our skelly is probably going to be the more commonly used trailer given the large sea port"

Once at the Embassy, Nick Warszinski is waiting for them as Ian Gordan stands in the back room rehearsing his speech.
"good morning Phenom" he says with a smile with his arms wide open, greeting his daughter. Penny is a short name, her official name is Phenom but Penny preffers Penny, she is not fond of being called Phenom! (but puts up with it for official occasions)", after hugging Penny, Nick turns to Evan and gives him a near fatherly hug, for Nick and Nick's wife Lorna, who right now is back home in Greater Orcadia dealing with a few loose ends are in fact Evan's only remaining family.

"And how are you this morning Evan?" asks Nick.

"not so bad sir, can't grumble and at the moment my joints are trouble free so all is good" replies Evan, tweaking his tie.

Penny makes her way into the embassy itself only to hear a soft meow, nope not from Tiswas but Wallace who recognizes Penny and Evan and knows that if he pushes Penny far enough he may get a crafty snack!

Kevin Lee - Upperdeck Hotel

As Kevin sat there with his military laptop turned away from Agent Carlston, a thought crossed his mind.

"Agent Carlston, I'm curious... did Audrey get authorization or assistance from the Port Emberian government? From what I know about her, she's a bit of a hot head sometimes..."

As Kevin sat with his laptop, he turned his gaze back at the screen. The Charles Rock Civil Air Patrol was looking to purchase a dozen MANPADS. with a couple clicks of his mouse, he placed a bid.

Suburbia Real Estate Office
Mike Haze and Vernon Miller

The young lady working as a real estate agent welcomed the two men whom entered her office, and she brought them coffee and offered them a seat. She politely asked the men what their requirements for their new home is, while she opened a large file, which had listed all the current real estate available.

Golden Lady Bank - Waterstad Central
Lex Skoropadsky

The banker smiled and politely yet quitely assisted Lex with depositing his money into his offshore account. Most banks would batch an eyebrow or two at the large sums of cash brought in - yet not here. The Golden Lady Bank was THE elite upperclass bank in Port Ember and the entire region in fact. Within seconds Lex received a SMS informing him that the money is now deposited safely into his account. The banker thanked Lex and handed him a small cigar box - a complimentary gift to their customers.

Mark Armitage

As it was mid morning, no critical or large items were broadcasted on the news. The news was instead dominated by mainly economical news, for example the current market standings and resources prices.

Orcadian Embassy

The Embassy Security staff received a call, informing them that President Flint is en route to the Embassy and will arrive shortly. This fact is echo'd by the fact that outside the embassy the local police have started closing the roads and moving back the media and spectators who have assembled outside the embassy.

Upperdeck Hotel
Kevin Lee

Agent Carlston laughed softly, understanding that Kevin ignored his last statement on purpose and is now fishing for information. He decided to humor this sign of disrespect.

"Well Mr Lee, as you know - you are a wanted man in your home nation of the Republic of The Chuck, therefore if Agent Audrey did get help from us - you and I would have been having this conversation in a jail cell. She does not know that we know that she is town..

And even if she did ask, Im not sure that we would allow her to take you down here legally, since my government does not like to play with extradition.. but who knows what might happen, your home nation is our biggest ally afterall.."

Orcadian Embassy - Everyone

Nick Warszinski was ready, Penny and Evan were settling down for what was going to be a long day and the type of day that Penny likes to avoid as although she is in a family of status she sees the public profile as something that gets in the way of being an every day person. Evan catches sight of the security staff getting a little tense as their president is in bound.

"Penn, looks like there is a change in the air" says Evan, "looks like the ceremony is about to get under way soon"

"Aye wee laddie, that be probably because President Flint is minutes away." replies an aide to Ian Gordon who was just putting final preparations.

in front of the grand staircase sits a lecturn which has some notes, particularly the running order for the events, Nick looks across at Penny and Evan, "can you guys take your seats over there please just behind where Ian gordon and I will be sitting in the VIP area"

Penny nods and along with Evan makes her way over to her designated seating area just as Wallace makes his appearance calmly walking across the landing of the grand staircase just as a film crew who are the official organised media agency position their camera.
"are we ready?" asks Nick.

"Aye Nick we're ready" says one of the Embassy staff as staff and relatives begin to take their seat for what could be a period of informal and formal speeches.

Sir William Southall

Lord Southall looked up at the waitress gratefully, a full smile on his face, "Thank you." He said appreciatively, nodding towards his drinks. "Now then," he rubbed his hands together and cleared his throat, "You can do a full traditional breakfast, I take it? Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, the lot?" He asked, looking forward to a filling breakfast. Sir William had always valued a good breakfast. "Keeps a man on his feet all day," he used to say, "Oh you can trumpet to the heavens how much you like your lunches and fancy dinners but give me a Full Vionnan any day." Most men had learned not to debate the subject of breakfast with the opinionated Major.

Orcadian Embassy
President Edward Flint

The moment that the crowds and media which was gathered outside the Orcadian Embassy awaited arrived when a convoy arrived in the blocked off streets, consisting of a shiny black limo, escorted by two blavk SUV's. Each vehicle had small Port Emberian flags attached to the front of it.

The media snapped pictures of the convoy driving past them, while reporters commented on the scene in front of theif live stream cameras.

The crowd cheered loudly, some clapping hands. There was even some hand written posters on display, ranging from comments of "We love and salute you Mr President" to "Hell NO to Orcadia!".

The convoy entered the Embassy grounds without a hassle, where they parked. Out climbed President Edward Flint, accompanied by his beautifull and stylishly dressed wife, and the Port Emberian Minister of Foreign Affairs. They did not linger in the yard, and quickly entered the embassy building, while the security detail remained outside.

Sir William Southall

The waitress wasted no time in taking Sir Southall's order to the kitchen, whom wasted no time in preparing the food. It was a simple straight forward meal to prepare, but the world renowned chef did it well. The traditional breakfast was so good that is rumoured that the President himself have offered the chef a job as his personal chef after tasting it.

The waitress did not waste time to deliver the breakfast to Sir Southall.

Agent Carlston carried a cocky smile on his face. He imagined that he saw a bit of surprise and even worry in the eyes of Mr Lee for a fleeting moment. Agent Carlston enjoyed that. He replied swiftly

"Ah, I need no assistance in any matter truly Mr Lee. I am only here to enjoy a quality cup of coffee with you this morrow." He continued to point to the fresh cup of coffee which rested in front of Kevin.

He continued "You see Mr Lee, my great nation is sometimes thought of as being too... tolerant, due to our almost non existant trade and contraband laws.. and our willingness to allow foreigners onto the island, whom would not be welcome in many other nations.." he paused, making sure Kevin understood exactly of who he was speaking, before continuing.

"Therefore when certain.. interesting characters enters our borders, my Boss likes us to greet them in a friendly matter - just to prove to them that we are not as soft and ill informed as the world might believe.. That we know quite a lot of basically every person whom enters our islands.." he paused again, allowing each word to sink in.

"So in summary Mr Lee, I am here to welcome you to the greatest city in the world.. and that I humbly wish that your business here does not step on our toes.. or that past grudges does not spill blood on our PUBLIC streets..." Agent Carlston smiled again, brazenly. He continued to take out a picture of agent Audrey W. Clark snapped as she entered via the airport.

The Cutlass
Kiana & Caja with Emily

Emily smiled. "Golly! That makes me a happy girl. Right.. so here is the thing girls, what I want from a supplier..:

One. Quality products. Thats obvious yes? That we will test tonight offcourse..
Two. Effecient and fast supply.
Three. Good reputation.. I will obviously research your company deeply..
Four. Good relationship. I believe firmly in the Port Emberian way of doing business - simply put is family values.. Port Emberians sees partners as families..

Speaking off.. I can imagine you will research me as well.. so let me spare you the shock. There is firm rumours regarding me.. rumours which speaks of me as being a very good smuggler and black market fence for stolen art." Emily smiled softly, playing with her long hair.
"I will not comfirm or deny such rumours.. However, whay I can tell you is that at this moment, such rumours are outdated. My chain will not be linked to any black market activity, either by myself, my employees or my suppliers.. I have worked hard to get the start up capital.. I do not need any more drama than what I am already expecting.."

Emily smiled, looking at Kiana; waiting to see whether her blunt honesty will put her off.

The Grand Bazaar
Aurora Alce

The arts quarter was buzzing with customers around the thousands of stalls, yet not as busy as the food quarter.

Many stalls held paintings, ranging from themes between the ocean, tropical island sceneries, wild animals to war paintings. There was quite good ones to, yet no extremely expensive ones (milliom dollar plus), since those were found at the upmarket galleries around the city. There was tons of handcrafted goods as well, especially wooden or bronze statues.

The clothing stalls were even more numurous with any type of clothing imaginable - even snow wear, which was quite funny since Port Ember was a tropical island. The locally produced clothes had one thing in common - casual and cool. Island style shirts, skirts, dresses and shoes were everywhere. A few suit and formal gown stalls were also available, although if you wanted the best of those, they were not available here but at the fashion houses in the city. The bazaar held mostly affordable, yet still quality and stylish items.

Caja and Kiana. The Cutlass.
Kiana and Caja exchanged glances.
Well, they would still be doing their research into Emily and they were prepared for some drama, but this frankness did surprise them a slight bit. She had basically told them, that there were rumours about her being a fence - and that these rumours may or may not be true. They were a thing of the past, sure, but not untrue.
She wanted this chain to be a new start and she expected troubles galore even without people connected to the black market.
"Well, that is certainly very honest of you, Emily. I appreciate that.", Kiana said, a soft smile on her lips, "Please allow me to respond in kind: The Mangaire Dealership Company Limited does not sell to the Black Market. We buy surplus, like of the Lutetiian Armed Forces in 1992, and new equipment and we resell it to legitimate states and organizations, which we subject to firm background checks. While it is true, that some of the weapons, which come from our stocks, found their way to the black market or worse, these were never sold by us to these dealers." She let a beat pass. "When you check us, you will also find rumours, that we are the ones, which Gabha and other arms manufacturers use to sell their arms and equipment to states and entities, which they don't want to be seen trading directly with, establishing a sort-of plausible denialability. While that is, to some extend, true, we do have our standards. We, for example, do not sell to slavers or similar entities, or terrorists. And we keep everything in accordance with the local laws."
She let another beat pass.
"Ultimately, we are merchants. Merchants, who deal in tools, which make it easy for people to kill other people. We do so in small scales and in grand scales.", she added, "Shane Bunaitheoir of the Tribe of Wicklow, the founder of the Merchant Guild of Leuda, which we are a part of, phrased it best: In peace, seek profit. In war, seek profit. Inbetween, seek profit. But never allow profit to stand in the way of your conscience. Profit without conscience is a silver cage of Gils falling onto your head."
She leaned back.
"If you now, after this little speech, do not want to have anything to do with us, we will pay for our drinks and yours and will leave you be.", she added, "There will be no drama, no tries to convince you otherwise, no nothing." She leaned forward again. "If you do, however, wish to do business with us, you will find us to be quite a resourceful partner and a very honest one as well, with quality products, efficient supply chains, a good reputation and who is interested in a good and honest relationship."

Aurora Alce. Bazaar.
To be honest, the stalls with the paintings were interesting, but not what held my interest at the moment. What held my interesting was the clothing and one kind of clothing in particular: Aurora needed a new swimsuit.
As the clothing had quite a bit of style and good quality, but formal wear would have to be bought in the city, I quickly gathered.
Anyway, where did they offer swimsuits...? And, if course, what did they look like?
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

The Cutlass Restuarant
Caja & Kiana with Emily

Emily listened attentively and paid deep attention to the words of Kiana. Nothing which was said alarmed her - quite the opposite really. It was clear that these girls were professional merchants, and from the sounds of it, so was their company. Furthermore it was clear that they listened to Emily, as Kiana specifically answered to her specific requirements. She loved a good listener..

At the end of the speech Emily placed a hand on both Kiana's and Caja's hands. She looked both of them deeply into their eyes and smiled broadly."It seems then I can call you partner!"

The Grand Bazaar
Aurora Alce

As Aurora was on the lookout for swimwear, she would have noticed a large row of stalls which stocked ocean type clothing. The items ranged from weather proof overall's, (typically worn by sailors and fishermen), to 1700's period pirate wear - your typical stripe shirts and long leather jackets. Also in stock offcourse was swimwear - thousands of varients. As Port Ember was a tropical island with no public nudity laws, this was a very popular attire.

All imaginable swimwear was available for women, one piece, two piece bikini's, speedo's, trunks and even diving wetand dry suits. They were stocked in all shapes and sizes, ranging from cheapies to quite decent and more pricey quality.

Wheelhouse Hotel

The morning sun peered through the open curtains, casting its golden rays into the room. Regina Vásquez awoke and sat up in her bed. Grabbing her phone from the nightstand, she unlocked it and checked for any new texts she might've missed while she was asleep. Nothing. "Oh right, I still need a SIM card," she remembered.

Regina got up from the bed and opened the window, hoping to get a cool breeze. Instead, she was hit by a blast of hot humid air. She quickly shut the window again, putting a lid on the unwelcome influx. She then went to the bathroom and took a cool shower. After that, she decided to head downstairs for breakfast. Stuffing her phone, room keys, and revolver into her handbag, Regina had just walked out the door when she looked down and stopped dead in her tracks—she'd forgotten to put on any clothes!

Blushing, she dashed back into her room to get dressed. She decided to wear the same bikini and shorts she wore yesterday. Ready to face the new day, Regina stepped out into the hallway once again and made her way to the lobby. She walked up to the reception desk. "Hi! Do you know where I can get something to eat?", she asked the staff member on duty.

From the hall where the guests were gathered the commotion outside could not be seen, and could barely be heard however Nick Warszinski and Ian Gordon who had both gone out to meet President Flint were well aware of the commotion. Nick looked at Ian,
"it seems like we're going to hit the news" says Nick, quietly

"yes, it would appear so" replied Ian in his typical Highland tones before turning to face Edward Flint who was about to step out of his car, when he does, his hand is offered "Good morning Mr President, welcome to the Embassy", his tone diplomatic, straight to the point but polite and cordial as Like Flint, Ian Gordon was elected in to power at the last election and hopes that his posting of Nick Warszinski to the position of Ambassador may help the relationship between the two nations.
"I would like to introduce Nick Warszinski who will be serving as the Orcadian Ambassador Port Ember"

Nick nods, "Good morning Mr President" he says, offering his hand

As Regina walked down the corridor stark naked, no one was around to notice her. Although, even if they did, it would not make such a massive scene as it would in other nations - Port Ember has no public decency laws, therefore it is legal to appear completely naked in public.

Regina was advised at the Reception Desk that the Wheelhouse did offer breakfast, however The Cutlass was not far from here, and served the best breakfast in the city.

The Orcadian Embassy

President Flint climbed out of his limo, followed by his wife and the Port Emberian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The President looked just that - the elected leader of one of the wealthiest nations on the planet - his tailor made suit screaming of wealth and professionalism. The minister looked equally impressive, he just did not have the benefit of youth on his side. The First Lady, looked positively breathtakingly beautifull to say the least.

President Flint smiled warmly when he shook the hands of both Ian and Nick. He gave off an aura of friendliness when he greeted the two men, and introduced the Minister - Peter Botman and his own wife - Joani Flint.

Kevin Lee - Upperdeck Hotel

Chuckling Kevin looked up at Agent Carlston.

"A wanted man? I might be wanted by the F.E.B. but I doubt I would stay long in one of their cells."

Dropping his voice low and in a polite but menacing tone, Kevin spoke softer so no one could hear besides Agent Carlston.

"If what I say next ends up in my file, you might be answering to your superiors."

Reaching into his sports jacket, Kevin pulled out an envelope and slid it across the table.

Kevin Lee

Agent Carlston read the presented letter attentively. He would surely conduct some digging on this matter. He smelled a rotten fish...

"Well Mr Lee, that is exactly what I am saying. This is just a friendly welcome to paradise, and a.. friendly request to keep blood off my streets.. Because if you do cause blood on my streets, no fancy letters will keep me of your back.."

Agent Carlston stood up, placing money on the table, enough to carry the coffee bill and Kevin's breakfast. Agent Carlston smiled at Kevin and bid him farewell "Yo your health and wealth Mr Lee." before he dissapeared swiftly just as he appeared.

The young lady working as a real estate agent welcomed the two men whom entered her office, and she brought them coffee and offered them a seat. She politely asked the men what their requirements for their new home is, while she opened a large file, which had listed all the current real estate available.

Mike and Vernon sat in front of the desk facing the real estate agent. "We need a place to use as a headquarters for our new enterprise. We need a medium to large garage to park our vehicles. All in all, the size of the estate must be large enough to accomodate our operators and have room for us to do our work. That's all. Did i confuse you chica?" Mike asked the young agent with a smile.

Greater Orcadian Embassy
Following dipomatic protocol, Ian Gordon and Nick Warszinski returned the greetings before allowing the party to enter.

Inside the great hall, everyone was sat until President Flint entered the room, upon which people stood as the band escorted President Flint in with a fanfayre prior to him giving the first speech as leader of the host nation for the new Embassy, Wallace however was watching the ceremony and inspecting every move and detail, by relaxing at the top of the stairs of the grand staircase! as the official photographers and press agents who were part of the Greater Orcadian Embassy Staff photographed the party entering.

Nick Warszinski glances over to Penny and Evan before standing in his rehearsed spot behind and to the left of President Flint with Ian Gordon standing to the right.

"Penny..." whispers Evan "...who is the other guy sat next to President Flint

"Foreign minister i think" replies Penny in a quiet, soft wisper

The Official State Visit of the British President

President Limburgh landed in the Port Ember Megalopolis Air Base, greeted by cheers from thousands of people, as the British Republic was an ever firm ally of Port Ember. Land of Hope and Glory was played by a large orchestra as he landed, as the crowd crowed louder and louder to his presence. He was ready to visit the president's palace, hoping to see him.

Caja and Kiana. The Cutlass.
Kiana and Caja were slightly surprised by the rather intimate gesture, but then they remembered Emily's words from before: Business Partners were family. A good way to look at it.
In any case, Kiana out her own hand on Emily's on her other.
"We would be glad to.", she said and smiled a small, but brilliant smile. "That leaves one question unanswered, though: You mentioned, that you expect drama to head your way."
Kiana let a beat pass, passing the metaphorical ball to Emily.

Aurora Alce. Bazaar.
Well, neither sailor's clothing nor pirate wear were something I was looking for, but actual, good quality swimsuits, which... Great Guardian, I knew, that there were no public nudity laws around here, but before I wore that, what my bodyguard had found and examined with a raised eyebrow, I would go naked!
With my cheeks red (and quite sure, that Yaro would but it for his girlfriend to enjoy... well, to each their own, I guess) I turned back to the more garment-using swimsuits.
One-piece, two-piece, trunks (okay, that was a new one) and dry suits - the latter not my interest, the former three more. There was a correlation between quality and price, as I realized, and that was good.
I looked at the seller, at who's stall I found something, with a small smile: "Excuse me, Signore, where are the changing rooms?", I asked with a smile as I had picked out three swimsuits, which I would like, if they fit.
No need to give the people here a public strip show, after all!

Caja and Kiana. The Cutlass.
Kiana was not exactly satisfied with the answer, as it spelled potential problems, which Emily tried to keep the business out of. That was both good and bad...
Still, she nodded slowly.
"Alright.", she said and looked into Emily's eyes, "But, Emily... if any of the drama gets too much, come to Caja and me. We may only be able to help with a cuppa tea and a good bottle of whiskey, but I think, I speak for both of us, when I say, that you would be welcome." She let a beat pass, which Caja used to nod. "And when we're all sober again, I am sure, that we can help you further as well. Many great battles were fought at kitchen tables!"
Even Caja had to snort.

Aurora Alce. Bazaar.
I smiled and nodded my thanks, taking my potential purchases into the shed.
A mirror, a curtain, four walls, a bench and no way to look into it to see Paradise - good. I looked around once more to spot any cameras. You would not believe, what I already found in changing rooms...
In any case, I smiled and went to work.
One could get clothing from everywhere here, I even believed to have spotted the logo of Bicíní Industries somewhere, but that remained to be seen. Anyway, blouse onto the bench, shoes off, pants off.
I looked into the mirror... I knew, that I would have back problems with 35, if I didn't exercise carefully, thanks to those two meat-bags, which were held by a black lace-bra. That went, too, as did their counterpart a bit further down. I was nothing if not classic.
The first choice of swimsuit reflected that: As their were no public nudity laws in Port Ember, the most logical choice would be, what I was currently wearing. Nothing.
I blushed and giggled like a school girl. I would freely admit, I would die of embarrassment! I mean, I would be the first to admit, that I had already worn swimsuits, which were two triangles and a dental floss, but come on! That had been enough during my teenage years!
How quickly perspective could change... aside from that, having the two meat-bags hang freely would make them sag sooner rather then later. A tellak could only do so much...
In any case, my first of three potential buys was a white bikini, another classic, with flower-highlights on the right hip and the strap leading up to the neck on the right side. The cloth covering and holding the meat bags was quite large, sat comfortably and the back was closed easily as well.
I struck a few poses, leaned forward, sat down next to my clothes, jumped a few times up and down. It fit well and, barring outside influence, I did not see any malfunction befalling me with this one.
A pair of denims and that one and I had a nice, new outfit.
Definately a buy.
A minute later, I wore the next piece, which appealed more to my childish side by the ways of frills. As a kid, I loved frilled clothes in general and the more frills there were, the more I loved it. I dimly remember a frilled, orange bikini, which I had on whenever Auntie Zina drove me and Cousin Zora to the beach... when I remember her, I knew, that I had the size from that branch of the family...
Anyway, the one wore now was a halterneck bikini, black, a band around the chest, which had three rings of frills. Panties, similar story, although a bit too slim around the bottom for my taste... still - frills!
And I rocked them! Squee!
I made my tests with that one as well and found it satisfactory. Would I buy it? Of course!
The last one was... minimal. They are called slingshot bikini or slingshot swimsuit, which went from the panties area to cover certain parts a bit higher up, went over the shoulders and across the back.
This one was a typical representative and when I put it one, I already felt my cheeks redden. Well, that did not abate, when I looked in the mirror.
Minimal.
I struck a few poses and felt, that I did not like the shifting of mass and when I made a few test jumps, I felt something liberating itself - that might be a useful trick in certain situations, but I don't think, that a swimsuit would be appropriate attire for these situations.
I shook my head, red-faced and took that one off, redressed and made myself presentable again. Yaro would not get to see me in my new purchases, not yet, at least. I packed the slingshot back and took the other two to payment. I had the money to spend...
...and frills!
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

The Cutlass Beachbar & Restuarant
Caja & Kiana with Emily

Emily smiled softly, with a hint of pain in her beautifull blue eyes. She managed to hide that emotion pretty quickly however, before she replied.

"That's a most generous offer lassies - and I sincerely do appreciate it! Make that coffee and rum instead, and I might even take you up on that! But in all seriousness my friends, I'm a big girl, I will never allow harm to come to my business, or the interests of my partners.." she looked at Caja and Kiana with a caring and almost loving smile.

Emily knew deep inside that the future was full of potential problems. She has made many fearsome enemies in her 'past life', and her future business will most definitely step on some powerfull toes. Her life was in constant danger and she knew it. Thus was the reason that she was so secretive and cautious. It was an actual miracle that she met with the girls on such short notice, as she studied her apppointments for weeks normally. This was done only as a favour to her... friend, James O'Malley.

However, Emily was not a harmless kitten herself. She might have the look of a damsel in distress, but that was certainly not the reality!

As Aurora was making her payment of her two new bikini sets, she was approached by a stranger.

The man approached slowly with his hands clearly visible next to his sides, attempting to convey that he did not present a threat. One could notice however, if one looked closely, that a pistol of some sort was worn on his hip, hidden underneath his bright blue floral button shirt. The man smiled softly and nodded into the direction of Yaro, before he reached the side of Aurora. As soon as he did, he spoke softly in a friendly but firm tone:

"Good mornin Ms Alce. You do not know me, and I am not important enough to know. I do not know you either, yet I know of you and of your boss.. My boss send me here to convey his wishes to meet with you and your boss, sooner rather than later.. My boss is an.. impatient man. Call him kindly - it will certainly be worth it." He handed her a business card which read "Mr Johnny Azula" with his cell number. Without further conversation, the man left into the crowd.

The vendor who witnessed the exchange was clearly shaken, physically shaking with fear.

Caja and Kiana. The Cutlass.
Kiana nodded.
"Alright.", she simply said.
The problem was, that Big Boy or Big Girl aside, sometimes, one needed help - and it was in the nature of the Mangaire Dealership Company to aid their business partners with more then just good products and good words. They would help Emily, if she asked and as long as the measures to be taken were within the bounds of legality (or at least grey).
To them, Emily did not look like a damsel in distress, though, more like a Star Lynx about to be cornered.
And they knew, that women like that were the most dangerous.
"So... now the only thing left to us is to wait for Aonas, I suppose.", Caja added. "He's a nice lad... and not only skilled in the use of rifles, if you catch my meaning!"
Caja threw Emily a wink.

Aurora Alce. Bazaar.
I did not see the man at first, but I saw Yaro shifting slightly, so that he could, if push came to shove, throw me to the ground, pull out his gun and show the man what for - even I saw, that he was armed, his whole posture did not say, that he wanted to harm us, but good actors were always dangerous.
He was friendly, though, one had to give him that.
His words unnerved me a bit, but I smiled, took the card with a small bow of my head.
"Thank you, Sir, I will bring your boss' message to my boss.", I replied with the same friendliness.
Azula, huh?
I had stumbled across the name, but for him to move this quickly and to contact us in such a matter... it was, for the lack of a better word, a nice role reversal, for usually, we of the LCN were the ones welcoming people we had interest in in such a manner.
I put the card away as soon as the man had vanished, my eyes a lot colder then before. I glanced over to the vendor, who shook like a leaf in a storm.
I had pity with the man, but first things first. "Yaro, please call the Lustro.", I asked of my bodyguard in Lutetiian, "Please report, what happened and that we will be returning." Yaro nodded, glancing to the vendor before he took out his phone. I turned to the vendor, took out a few bank notes, enough to buy the entire stock of the stall twice over. "Signore, my apologies. For your efforts... I hope, that we might be able to talk about expanding your stock a bit."
I handed him the money, the promise and winked before I departed.
Next stop, the Marina and the yacht, which laid there.
My boss would be thrilled, that was for sure.
