Tyler Mackenzie, O'Malley's Tavern

*Mackenzie, clearly not threatened by this man, pulled out a rather long and very sharp knife*

"Now, listen here...O'Malley....I know who you are, but do you know who I am? I have the backing of a very powerful government and furthermore, I am no criminal, as all I sell is legal goods. But let me tell you something. Put a finger on me, and you'll be an international criminal. I believe you know how that deadly Director kills people....you certainly wouldn't want to die at his hands, eh? But I shall leave, for my business was not with you nor anyone else. But remember...for I am a very powerful man, not to be reckoned with." Mackenzie growled, in the deepest tone he could muster, knowing that he could've easily stabbed O'Malley right there and then with no consequences. Of course, staying to his word, Mackenzie left the tavern in an odd and mystic way, ready to go towards another destination.

Hannoverian Legation in Port Ember
Hauptmann Meyer
February 20th, 2019.

"We have arrived, sir."

Hauptmann Meyer peeked through the thick glass of the SAMIL, and inspected the compound that his small platoon would stay in for several months. He was unimpressed with it, but he was spoiled and used to high-quality officer's quarters. The "barracks" were more than alright and could comfortably house all the men under Meyer's command.

Meyer tried to look around for a split second before getting out of the lorry, and spotted that the minister leading the international mission, a man in his sixties, was standing in front of the legation. Unwilling to waste anymore of the Guards's time, he thanked his driver and made a short, lighthearted joke about his SAMIL truck and that he wishes him all the best, before getting out of the lorry with his jacket slung over his shoulder.

"1. Zug, absitzen!" the men slowly got out of the lorry that had been driving them around, and the lads whose ages ranged from 17 to 43 kept cracking jokes. These "riflemen" would be tough to drill, as they didn't look like they took their work seriously. Meyer looked over to the minister, Gerhard Braunach, who seemed very unimpressed with the way the men profiled themselves.

"Bildet zwei reihen gegenüber der Legation, und dalli.", he said, ordering his men to form two lines facing the legation, so that the captain could present his platoon whose orders were to go and defend the legation. He put on his officer's uniform while telling the men, so that he didn't have to do the "ceremonial drill" in a white shirt.

Braunach looked at the men with disgust as they got into their lines, and told his personal assistant something about the lack of organization in the ranks.

Meyer's Waffenrock was now complete, and he turned himself to the minister while clacking his heels.

"Hauptmann Meyer der 3. Schützendivision, 7. Infanterieregiment, 1. Ünabhänginger interterritorialer Schützenzug meldet sich zum Dienst und berichtet: Zug ist ausmarschbereit!", he shouted, stating his rank and such, which was ceremonial. Meyer hoped that people wouldn't be staring at them from the gates, as the platoon did look really shabby, and he wasn't the most experienced platoon leader.

Minister Braunach simply nodded once, and the Hauptmann turned himself towards his platoon. "1. Zug, abtreten!" he said, ordering his troop to move out. He gestured towards the small compound next to the legation, and the men started marching there in a straight column. The Hauptmann expected the platoon to fuck up, but it wasn't all that bad, and he felt a bit better. He saluted, trying to look as good as humanly possible, to the soldiers who'd been transporting them and their goods, before clacking his heels and turning to the minister, whom he also gave a militärischer Gruß, or simple military salute, until the minister came down and shook his hand, engaging in conversation.

The minister had a smile on his face and looked very happy, but this was all an illusion for the cameras. Once he'd shook the captain's hand, he told him, in German: "You're a fucking embarassment", with a great big smile on his face. The Hauptmann looked at him all surprised, but before he could say a word, Braunach continued: "Get your ass to your chamber in the compound. I've got to clean up this mess that you left us." he placed his left hand on the Hauptmann's back as a sign of superiority, and then waited for the captain to move to the barracks.

The minister then faced the Port Embrian soldiers who'd transported him, and said, in English: "Thank you all very much for coming here. We're looking forward to improving the relationship between our nations. I believe that the future of Hannover and Port Ember are intertwined, and that increased international cooperation is benefitial to the wellbeing of our people. Soldiers of Port Ember, thank you for standing for justice and peace, and for protecting those that are most vulnerable." it was diplomatic talk. He'd done it a thousand times. He hoped that the Port Embrian people liked it, as diplomatic rhetoric could be critical when it came to building up a relationship. He then thanked those that would help them pack their goods into the legation, and walked back in.

The opening ceremony had been far grander, but this was just welcoming the troops. Braunach did feel like he did a good job, even if the engagement was on the shorter side. He heard German and English voices in the courtyard, trying to get the heavy military equipment into the compound.

The Hauptmann decided that he wanted to go and help, and moved out into the courtyard, where he saw a Port Embrian citizen who was a member of one of the companies that the Hannoverians hired to get their luggage and possessions loaded in the compound and legation. Meyer saw that he was struggling with some heavy stuff that they'd brought with them. While the other soldiers were sitting in the compound, doing nothing important at all, their platoon leader walked up to the worker who'd helped the Hannoverian army unpack and store its goods, and asked, in a thick German accent: "Can I help you with that, please?", while reaching out to help carry the ammunition box to the "barracks" that had been set up for the soldiers.

Upperdeck Hotel
Sir William Southall

An impeccably dressed young man was seated behind reception. He had short brown hair and brown eyes. His dark suit and bright yellow tie was all clean and very neat. He was the face of the hotel.. and he knew it. His gold plated nametag on his jacket revealed his name to be Johnathan. A late stages middle aged man, very well dressed, approached his desk and identified himself as Lord Southall.

"Good day to you Sir. Bonan posttagmezon.(esperanto for good day). Welcome to the Upperdeck Hotel."

Jonathan smiled widely and professionally at his new guest. "We were expecting you Sir. Room 306 is yours - third floor on the left. It has an ocean view. You may leave your luggage here, it will be sent up. Please enjoy your stay! Mi' casa - Su casa." Jonathan handed his guest his room key.

Jimmy took off im his olive green taxi. It was a nice car, comfortable ergonomical seats, always clean and fresh smelling, with the aircon on full blast. The radio was playing softly. A talk show was on air, with the presenter and his guest discussing international events, like the deterioting relationship between Port Ember, Kyavan and Ukraniumstan.

Jimmy lookes into his rear view mirror to his passenger. He decided that she was indeed a very beautifull lady amd nice looking - personality wise. He could alse notice that she was starting to feel a bit more comfortable with the aircon doing his job.Jimmy respected privacy so did not start a converasation easily. He just casualy stated that they were nearly at the Wheelhouse Hotel.

Captain Nathan Killpatrick listened to the Minister's short speech and displayed a soft warm smile. He has heard this type of nonsense a thousand times before. Hell he has heard that type of speaches minutes before that same person ordered a terrorist attack against civilians. But he understood, that what politicians do. The Captain went to greet the Minister personally, with a sharp salute followed by a firm handshake. "Minister, always a pleasure. Hope we get to work together again soon." Captain Nathan saluted again very sharply, and got his his people into the vehicles with precision speed and neatness. As they drove out of the gates, the captain laughed softly at the sorry excuse for soldiers that he have witnessed today. Nathan also hoped that the neatness, professionalism and precision of his mim atleast impressed the new foreigners. Not that he cared personally, but he knew Command worries about such nonsense.

A teamster carrying a large ammo box was asked if he could be assisted by the captain of the new Hannover gaurds. The teamster immediately replied "Sir I do thank you for the offer - but I could not accept. Im gettin' paid for this afterall. Besides sir.. you are an officer.." the teamster looked suggestively at the troops lounging around.

Kevin Lee - O'Malley's Tavern

Kevin watched as the shady man was thrown out by Mister O'Malley before turning his attention back to nursing his second pint of beer. Suddenly he felt his jacket shake as his phone vibrated. Pulling it out he looked down at it and frowned. The motion sensor/camera he had installed in the door to his room at the Upperdeck Hotel had been tripped. Peering down at his phone, he watched as an intruder worked on picking the lock on his door. As he watched, a notification popped up inquiring if he wanted to activate the explosive surprise in the box. With a moment's hesitation, he hit the cancel button and prevented 700 ball bearings from turning the infiltrator into Swiss cheese. Looking back at the beer and thinking for a moment, he took the mug and finished it before popping a piece of mint gum into his mouth. As he started to chew on the gum, he hailed down Claire to pay his bill.

Prime Minister Ian Gordon

The Orcadian Prime Minister was met with a small group of photographers, a Gaurd of Honor issuing a General Salute as the PM walked passed and was finally greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Botman.

"Greeting Prime Minister. Good to have you sir. Welcome to Port Ember. I sincerely hope you had a good flight."

Ian walked forwards and shook the hand of the minister,
"Good afternoon, yes I have had a wonderful flight, I trust you have had a good day so far" he replies as the Foreign Secretary and the Minister for trade and industry also walked down the stairs followed by a small gaggle of photographers.

"To my left is the foreign Secretary, James Hunter and Trade and Industry secretary William Fox. I am sorry its only going to be a flying visit" he says,

Penny and Evan heading to the port
As the two tankers made their way towards the port, everything seemed to be going well however with the different surroundings, Tiswas was looking out of the window, his front paws on the widow sill of the truck's passenger door.

"Evan, we head down here, next right" Penny calls on the CB, moments later she turns on the stereo and it wasn't long before a news article came on,
"....[i]And in the news, Orcadian Prime Minister has landed here in Port Ember to formally open the new Orcadian Embassy, he will be meeting with the new Embassy staff in the morning...., Penny reaches to the radio and switches channel.

O'Malley's
Kiana & Caja with Tim

Tim looked on as Georgie gifted the world a few seconds of his lion heart. Tim felt nervous, anticipating trouble. None came however, as the shady looking old man and the group at Table 3 left the tavern without causing trouble. It seemed that old man Georgie still carried his reputation.

Georgie scoffed at the lot he threw out. The gangster group did not even attempt to back-chat, which surprised Georgie a little. The old man was very vocal however. But Georgie could not care less. He feared no man, or his supposed connections. He was an O'Malley after all.

Tim turned back to the girls, smiling weakly. "Aye no problem, I'd show you around tomorow.. I'll also make a call to a mate working in the industry, to hear what's the rumours about that new chain.."

Claire came from behind the bar after the drama to attend her patrons. One might easily believe she went behind the bar to hide from the drama which unfolded, but secretly, she was attending the pump actiom shotgun stashed behind the bar. She might be cute and innocent, but she still is an O'Malley..

Claire took the bill to Kevin, smiling radiantly "heya hun! Hope ye enjoyed the meal! And the.. entertainment." She giggled. "Please do return soon! The tavern will be lonely without you!" She winked at Kevin

O'Malley's Tavern, Table 3

Smiles, upon seeing the time, motioned to the rest of the group that it was time to go. The younger man asked for a check, and after receiving it, each of the members paid for their food, tipping. The woman and the older man left the establishment, getting the car ready. As the other two were about to leave, Smiles saw an older gentleman enter the establishment. He was well dressed, and under all of that padding, he could see that the man was armed with a rather large weapon, definitely not a handgun. The rest of the group noticed it too and instinctively felt for their weapons. Upon seeing that he had no ill intentions, they moved to the exit. Smiles, passing by the newcomer, heard the insult from the man at the other end of the bar.

The younger man, hearing it too, looked over his shoulder and yelled,

"Эй, ты, shut your fucking mouth before I-"

Smiles stopped him. He looked over at Georgie and flashed his signature grin, which with the scar looked creepy as hell. He then motioned the younger man to follow him outside.

The other two were already in the car. Smiles and the younger man got in, and Smiles sent a message to Lex

"On the way. Expect us in 30."

Warehouse 9, Marina Terminal

Lex got the message. He had just finished setting the meeting spot when another car, one of his own, showed up to the front of the warehouse. Two men got out, both wearing suits just like the other two bodyguards. Unlike the other two, however, these guys were packing serious heat, in the form of BR-18's. The two men approached and Lex went out to greet them.

"Ah, good, you guys are here. Listen, we may be in the shitter, so here is what I want you to do. You guys set up somewhere hidden, keep an eye on the warehouse and the soldatos that are going to get here in about 30 min. If you see anything out of the ordinary, you inform me. I'm going to be relying on both of you to cover us if and when a firefight breaks out. I don't know if it will be with the client or someone else, but someone somewhere has caught wind of our operation. Once we are out of the picture, head towards the ASTE docks. They can't touch you there without a warrant. Got it?"

"Yes, boss." Said the taller man on the left.

"Now, go."

The two men got into their car and moved it to a more secure location. In the meantime, the guy Lex had sent out, Benny, came back and reported his finds.

"Sir, no discrepancies amongst the dock workers, and the foremen seem complacent enough."

"Any word from the Secret Service"

"Not really, things have been quiet. Haven't seen any around here yet. I got some word earlier that they were moving around, but nothing else."

"Alright, stay here for now. The hired muscle should be here soon. Stay here for the meantime."

"Got it, boss"

Lex took a step outside and looked around. Nothing much else besides Warehouse 8 right across the street. He had heard that the warehouse had been rented out for another dealer. He hoped that such close proximity would not interfere with their dealings here. He quickly went back inside.

Kevin Lee - O'Malley's Tavern

Kevin smiled at Claire's antics and took the bill. Once glancing over it, he reached into his pockets and laid out a couple bills on the table before getting up and putting on his overcoat. Donning his hat, he stepped out into the late afternoon rain and climbed into his Cadillac. Once inside his car, he opened his phone and checked to see if the intruder was still in his room. Once he confirmed that the person was, he left the parking lot and cruised back down the highway to the Upperdeck Hotel.

Kevin Lee - Upperdeck Hotel

Upon arriving back at the Upperdeck Hotel, Kevin walked in like nothing was amiss. He waved towards the desk workers and took the elevator up to the third floor. Stepping out into the hallway of the third floor, Kevin quietly walked down the hallway until he was near to his room. Pulling out his phone again, he took a moment to see where the intruder was. Once he saw where she was, Kevin decided against drawing his own pistol even though he knew the intruder was armed. Pretending to mess with his key-card to cause some noise, Kevin opened the door and walked in.

As Kevin walked into his room, he knew that the intruder was waiting for him around the corner. As such, he made a beeline for the gift box sitting on the table while he kept his phone in his hands. Fiddling with it, the activation button again popped up for the mine in the box and as he grabbed the box, he spun it towards the corner of the wall as the intruder stepped out and aimed her pistol at him as she spoke.

"Hello Kevin Lee..."

"Hello Agent Clark..."

Taking a moment, Kevin hid his smile while he glanced at Agent Audrey W. Clark of the Firearms and Explosives Bureau (F.E.B.). Agent Clark was wearing a red dress and had her service pistol with a suppressor drawn and pointed directly at him. For the past two years, the F.E.B. had been pursuing Kevin across the globe. It had all originated from a weapons deal with an undercover agent of the F.E.B. Unfortunately for the F.E.B., an informant had tipped off Kevin and it had ended with a dozen critically injured agents and millions of dollars of lost weapons and infrastructure when an empty high-rise was firebombed. Kevin had escaped and agents had been sent after him ever since.

This wasn't the first time Agent Clark had crossed paths with Kevin. Truth be told, Kevin had sort of started to fall in love with her. He had unfortunately made the mistake of informing her of that when she had gotten the drop on him a while back. Of course Agent Clark had informed her superiors of this though and of course they kept sending her after Kevin because they now knew that it was unlikely that he would kill her. Injure her? possibly. kill her? probably not. As such, the F.E.B., and more specifically, Agent Clark, had been playing a game of cat and mouse with Kevin ever since. Now here she was, standing in front of him with her pistol in her hands and a wolfish grin on her face.

"Kevin, you've messed up this time, you're coming with me dead or alive, my superiors have green lit killing you if need be after that fiasco in Sierra Leone."

"I think not Audrey, I knew you were here as soon as you attempted to break into the door. As such, I was prepared for this."

With that, Kevin turned his phone to face her and lifted the lid off the gift-box revealing the directional landmine facing directly at her. Looking at the screen and landmine, Audrey's smile turned into a sly grin as she realized she had been fooled by Kevin once again.

"You sneaky bastard Kevin. I guess this is a standoff then. If I pull the trigger, I get blown away and if you press your phone, you get shot. You won't get away with this either though."

At that precise moment, Kevin's phone rang in his hands. Looking at the caller ID, he smiled and said,

"It's for you Audrey."

Canceling the activation code on his phone, he tossed the phone towards Audrey who caught it in her left hand while keeping her pistol trained on him. Putting it up to her ear, she listened while her face started to obviously change.

"Hello sir."

"Yes sir... he's here and I'm about to arrest him."

"What do you mean I'm not allowed to arrest him?"

"What the fuck?! What do you mean we have no jurisdiction?!"

"Alright... Sir."

"Yes, I understand..."

By the time Audrey finished listening to the call, her facial tones had changed to one of anger and annoyance. She had just spoken with her boss who had informed her that the Port Emberians would come down hard if she attempted to arrest him on their soil. With a look that could have killed thousands, she spoke while her voice dripped with venom.

"I traveled here to stop you from selling death to innocents and now I can't even stop you. I should shoot you now and say consequences be damned!"

Moving towards her, Kevin spoke in a soft and friendly tone,

"Drey, listen. I didn't choose this path in life, it sort of just was meant to be. I'm not an evil bad person, I simply fulfill services that bad people could obtain through different means. If I could leave this life I would but it will never happen. As such, here I am, stuck in this world. Maybe next time you'll be able to stop me."

With that, he leaned in attempt to kiss her on the cheek. As he did, she gently pushed him away before speaking in a sullen tone,

"Is it true that you would leave this business if you were able to?"

"Yes, though it will never happen. So long as there are two people in this world, someone will want the means of ending the other person's life. I'm simply the broker."

With that, Agent Clark sat down in a chair while she holstered her pistol.

"Well what are you doing here in Port Ember? Business as usual I assume?"

As Agent Clark asked her probing questions, Kevin walked over to where his TCHR-1 rifle was and started packing it into his gun case. As Audrey watched him pack up his rifle, a thought crossed her mind that caused her to cry out,

"You're not a hired gun now are you Kevin!?"

Turning to look at Audrey, it took a moment for Kevin to process why she was mad again before he realized what it looked like.

"Audrey, I could swear on a religious text, I am not a hired gun nor do I directly kill people for money. That is one of my only boundaries and you know that. Remember the tower in Beijing where you were knocked off the ledge? I could have easily decided to turn my back and let you fall but I ran to you and helped you. As such you let me get away. I will never directly kill for profit."

While Kevin spoke, he masked his emotions well and Agent Clark couldn't tell that he was lying through his teeth. When he had graduated from Charles Rock University of Management and Business, he hadn't been the top student so the criminals who had financed his way through college had told him that he either could knock off the two students who were above him or pay back triple what he had borrowed from him. As such, he had invited both the valedictorian and salutatorian to a party at an acquaintance's apartment. While there, he had spiked all the drinks and tossed the two honor students off the seventh floor balcony. Since then though, he hadn't attempted to directly kill a man. Sure there were incidents where deals went wrong and he had to defend himself but he tried to avoid being the aggressor.

Once Kevin was finished with packing up his rifle, he stepped behind a couple chest high dressing panels and started to unbutton his shirt while Audrey watched. Looking at her, he cleared his throat and she turned away from him as he could see her cheeks clearly become a tad bit crimson.

As he changed, he teased her a tiny bit,

"Did you like what you saw Drey?"

"I swear Kevin, shut up or I will shoot you!"

After a couple minutes he stepped out from behind the dressing panels wearing a coal black suit and gloves. Speaking up he said,

"Alright Audrey, I'll be back in a couple hours. Do whatever. I don't care if you want to order something and put it on my tab but I seriously don't want to see you here when I get back."

With that, Kevin left his room carrying his rifle and went to his car. Tossing the rifle in the back, he drove towards the docks in anticipation of making sure his shipment was safe.

Completely unpertubed, as if the scene that just occurred didn't even interest them (in fact, it interested them very much, including Claire's disappearance), the two Selkie listened to Tim's words.
Caja smiled.
"Oh, that would be lovely.", she said and took a piece of her steak, spearing it up on her fork, "I do, however, insist, that we pay you for driving us around. I mean, you're loosing an entire day of work there!"

Somewhere in Waterstad Borough
Johnny Azula

Johnny Azula was standing over a washing basin, washing his hands. The blood stains was stubborn and was not removed easily. Somewhere in the dark room one could hear the muffled moans and cries of a grown man. Johnny wore a sadistic smile on his face as the blood tainted water was flushing down the basin. When he was content that his hands were now relatively bloodless, he closed the tap and grabbed a nearby towel to dry his hands. Johnny let out a loud whistle, which was followed by movement in the dark room. As Johnny exited the room into the humid air outside, he was followed by three suit-clad men. The possé entered Johnny's black pickup truck and started to drive off towards the docks. The only sound from inside the truck was the sound of Johnny's lighter igniting his thick cigar.

Somewhere in Waterstad Borough
Agent Brian Mills

As Agent Mills was driving towards the docks he made constant phone calls, giving precise orders to the crew involved. These were some of the best tactical operators in the Service, and men he trusted with his life. Brian smiled widely, as he knew that tonight was the night that the Shark will be caught in his net.

O'Malley's Tavern
Kiana & Caja with Tim

Tim observed the lack of emotion and reaction from the girls during the ordeal with Georgie and the 'banished' patrons. It was a tense situation, and these girls showed nothing. Nothing. Tim was a bit confused regarding this, as he personally was scared shitless. When the girls continued enjoying their delicious steak and continued speaking with him, he was ripped back to reality. Smiling weakly he replied "If ye insist.. I would give ya a nice discount atleast. Yer my mates, and Timmy never robs a friend!". The fact that he was quickly falling in love with Caja was offcourse not conveyed. "Its gettin late as well, ye girls needs to tell me where you want to be.. Waterstead airbase, Prime Minister Ian Gordon

"Yes I have plenty of business to attend to, in the hope to rebuild our relationship between our two nations" replies Ian Gordon in a cordial, confident manner just as the prime ministerial jaguar xf rolls up, 2 security agents gething out to open the door for the prime minister.
"Prime minister, sir" calls outo one if the security agents, gesturing to the car.

Once inside the car, Ian looks at the driver, "our embassy but lets see how Port Ember has risen" asKaren Ian

"Yes sir" replies the driver, before announcing to the Port Ember diplomatic protection team "Ian wants a sight seeing trip on the way to the Orcadian Embassy" over the radio

Penny and Evan
Onthe way to the docks

As the rain came down, it did not greatly slow progress as Penny and Evan's driving style is a careful one and ultimately it tookeeps around a couple of hours.

"Evan when we get back tonight, we have to pop to a bar to check it out" calls Penny over the cb

"Aye" replied Evan, turning onto the access road

Warehouse 9, Marina Terminal

The soldato's car pulled up behind the warehouse, out of sight. Running through the rain, the group made it to the front of the warehouse, where Lex was waiting.

"There you are. Stay here at the entrance. If anyone who does not identify themselves as the "King Shark" shows up, turn them away. If they try to make their way inside, kill them. Got it?"

The soldatos, with the exception of Smiles, were confused. The woman perked up.

"Uh, sir? I thought we were-"

"AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT!" Lex yelled in an outburst of rage, which had been building up from all of the events and delays he had to endure today. He usually never yelled at anyone, as he was very reasonable, but the amount of stress had pushed him over the edge at that moment. He took a deep breath, collected himself, and continued in a soft tone.

"I know what happened on the way here. I am paying you guys a lot of goddamn money to just make sure no one stumbles onto the meeting, and of course one of you had to open your mouth and make this whole thing inconvenient as hell."

Lex turned to Smiles, "And you, Nikita, I thought you would be better than this. While I appreciate the honesty, none of this would have happened if you kept these guys in line. Make sure you don't screw up during the deal, and you get paid. Screw up, and I will let your capo sort you out, got it?"

Smiles was taken aback. No one aside from his closest friends knew his name.

"Now, go."

Lex turned back into the Warehouse, leaving the soldatos standing at the entrance. He went over to one of his guards and whispered something. The guard nodded and jogged over to the back of the warehouse. Lex then leaned up against his car and checked his gun. It was a M&P9 Shield, which he hadn't had to use for a while. He wasn't particularly fond of killing, but if someone was threatening him, or his business, he would put them in the ground.

Kiana and Caja. O'Malley's, with Tim.
Both Selkie saw, that Tim had been quite affected and was quite disconcerted by their lack of a reaction to the dangerous situation - O'Malley and his now thrown-out customer could have escalated, that was true, it could have gone horribly, horribly wrong with people shooting at each other...
...but it didn't.
When Tim suggested a discount, Caja was hesitant to agree.
In the end, it was indeed getting late... Caja looked to Kiana.
"What about your friend?", Caja asked her blonde friend, "Wanna go to his party?" Kiana was thinking. "Or see about maybe another club?"
Kiana looked to Caja. "You know what, the two of us will gussy up a bit and go to the Malibu. Join the party, have a blast, stay away from the drugs, that sorta thing. Sounds cool?"
Caja nodded. "Yeah, that sounds good. So, back to the hotel first, then that.", she said and looked to Tim, "What do you think, Timmy? Wanna come along?"

Waterstad Borough Airbase
Orcadian PM Ian Gordon

The Prime Minister's vehicle was escorted by two vehicles, one in front and one behind. There was four motorcycles also part of the convoy. Lastly a chopper hovered far above keeping an Eagle's Watch on the scene. There would not be trouble here. No one in the world had the guts to actually attempt an assisination on such a high priority target in Port Ember Megalopolis. PE might be a free liberal nation, but after the Hawklands Terror attack a few years ago.. PE's Secret Services has became an organisation not known for kindness and patience ever since. But still - the PM would be kept safe to the highest standards non the less.

The convoy made sure to follow the scenic route as requested, after leaving the Air Base (with a Guard of Honor Lining saluting the Prime Minister's vehicle as it left the gate), instead of going straight to the highway, they took a short right which took them over a lone hill, named Naval Hill. On the peak of Naval Hill, one could see for kilometers around you, as the view overlooked most of the surrounding urban jungle. To the right lay the Harbor in all its magnificence. As far as the eye could see, warehouses, cranes, container storage sights, loading docks and hundreds of ships of all makes and sizes. Far, almost too far to see on a cliff overlooking the bay, lay the Naval Fort, a marvelous 16th century fort constructed by the Orcadians to dedend the fledgeling colony all those years ago.

To the front, center one could see the Industrial quarter. As far as the eye could see, lay thousands of factories and warehouses.

To the left lay the Morté Neighbourhood, with thousand upon thousands of high rise apartments. The rest of the Boroughs could not be seen from Naval Hill due to the distance and the high rise skyscrapers.

They eventually reached the highway system, which had 8 lanes per direction, very well lit and smooth. The lights have just switched on as darkness was slowly setting in, combined with the wet roads, made the roads shine soflty in a goldish hue - a beautifull sight. The extreme left lane was designated a passive constant charging lane - to charge electrical vehicles whilst driving.

The highway led them above the Waterstad Borough Central Quarter, the business district if you wish, visible to both the left and right of the lifted highway. This quarter, in contrast to the docks and Industrial Quarters, was very neat and clean. Bright green trees lined the streets with many skyscrapers. The streets were extremely well lit and some buildings had coloured external lights, creating an interesting ambiance.

Further down the highway, one could eventually spot Suburbia, with its many beautifull homes and famous green nature. One could easily lose count of the many trees and parks dotted around the landscape.

Eventually the highway entered the Lilly Black District, the heart of the Megalopolis. As one entered the district, a massive Billboard had a painted picture of a women dressed in typical pirate era clothing. Written above the women was written in a stylised font

"Welcome to Lilly Black Borough
Bonvenon al Lilly Black distrikto"

Underneath the women was written in the same font

"The Uniter. We shall not forget you mother
La Uniter. Ni ne forgesas vin patrino"

The Lilly Black Borough was a stunning sight to observe. Lush green with many parks and many large but beautifull buildings. Many statues too. One could glimpse the large beautifull Parliament House in the distance resting on a small hill. The convoy turned off the highway, to the left side of the Borough lay the Diplomatic Quarter, which was their destination. Once again the lush green was everywhere.

Waterstad Borough
Agent Brian Mills

Agent Mills finished yet another call. The thirteenth one in a space of minutes. His wide cocky smile was unhidable. He knew that the Shark was his tonight. He knew that it would turn ugly tonight though, and he softly tapped his body armour for reasurance, and took a deep loving look at his wedding ring on his finger. He knew the risks. They all did. But they have done this many a time - and they don't lose. Not in their own city. The criminals he was about to face, might be well armed and heartless - but they were thugs. Simple as that. Brians team.. trained professionals. That was all there was to it. Brian ran through his quick mental list regarding the operation tonight:

- Deal is going down at the docks, Warehouse 9.
- The "grey men" informed Mills that there was allready movement around the area. Probally the buyer/seller and his muscle.
- Satelite is in play - live feed available
- 3 x Tactical Teams closing in, staying hidden until positive ID on Azula is made, and he enters the warehouse.
- Local PD to be informed only the second after Mills gives the green light, to ensure extra boots on the ground and cut-off groups and chasers, and keeping the circle small of people knowing of the ops.
- Sniper Team almost in position in a nearby apartment building, to make sure Azula does not get away this time..

Brian flashed a quick look to his cellphone, which had a family photo as his background. A nice photo of Brian, his wife and their two beautifull children. Brian smiled warmly. "Daddy's almost home.."

Warehouse 9 - Marina Terminal
Johnny Azula

The rain was starting to stop when Johnny's big black pick-up with tinted windows pulled up and came to a halt in front of Warehouse 9. Johnny lit another fat cigar, fixed his tie, donned his fedora, loaded his pistol. "Right you shits. No funny business. These people in here.. is my friends. I foresee a long prosperous future ahead.. so dont mess it up by some bloody antics. Hold yer tounges, and I wont cut it out." The 3 bodygaurds knew that was not just a threat.. The four men climbed out of the vehicle and walked towards the door of Warehouse 9..

Kiana & Caja with Tim

Tim thought it through a few seconds. To be honest he was a bit scared.. He knew what kind of guy he was.. and what kind of guys the O'Malley brothers were.. If they decided to 'steal' Caja away from him, what was he to do? But no.. they would not. They were his mates right? Right. Tim decided not to tell the girls that the Malibu was the last place to go when trying to stay away from drugs.. he did not want to risk not spending time with Caja.. He would steal her heart tonight. He was sure of that. "Aye! Does sound fun! Its a damm fun club to party hard. Even some of the stinking rich people from the gold coast goes to party there at times.. And what ye girls mean by going to 'gussy up'? You look stunning already!" Tim winked at Caja specifically.

Kevin Lee - Dockyards

As Kevin drove towards the expansive dockyards, he stopped at a hardware store and purchased some utility clothing. After buying what looked like a dock workers outfit, he went to the restroom and changed into it. Before he left, he also purchased a rather large tool kit. Once finished, he climbed back into his car and kept heading for the docks.

Once he arrived, he started to look around for a high area to position himself. As he meandered his way through the dockyard, he noticed an inoperative cargo crane. Parking near the base of the crane, Kevin stepped out of his car and popped the trunk. Opening his rifle case, he shifted the parts of his rifle into the tool kit and slung it over his shoulders before ascending the crane to get a better view over Warehouse 8 and 9. As he climbed the ladder, he had to make sure to grip tight, although the rain was letting up, the rungs were still quite slick. As he climbed, he made to sure look around but also act like a dock worker who had been sent to either operate or repair the crane. As he got to the operator's deck and cabin, Kevin tried to open the door and was slightly surprised to find that the handle to the operator's cabin was unlocked. Stepping into the small little alcove, he sat down and started to assemble his rifle while watching the movement down at Warehouse 8 and 9...

Caja smiled widely at the wink, glad about the compliment.
"Oh, there's still some things, which can be done. For example in the clothings department.", she told him with her grin still in place. She was well aware of the Malibu's reputation, or at least had a rough idea, but she did not know the true extend. "And my hair needs a good brushing, too..."
"Yeah, same here.", Kiana agreed and finished her steak.
She flagged down Claire and paid for all three, including a hearty tip, throwing a wink at her, as if to say: Us girls need to stick together!

O'Malley's Tavern
Kiana & Caja with Tim

Claire smiled widely at the tip she received from Kiana, and even quickly stole a quick peck kiss on the lips of the Selkian Redhead. It was not a sexual kiss, more of a friendly almost family like kiss. Unexpected nontheless. Claire smelled faintly like sweet flowers due to her perfume. She giggled after and winked at Kiana, and quickly gave Tim a peck on his cheek followed by a hug. "Take care guys!" She said as she almost-skipped away, her long blonde ponytail bouncing against her back and bottom.

Tim was blushing softly as Caja spoke with him. He imagined actually touching this goddess.. He was a good dancer, almost all of the docks folk were. Not good as in professional, but experienced. The type of wild folk dance that Kiana was introduced to a few minutes ago was taught and practiced from a young age. It was as much part of daily life as drinking and the ocean to these people. Tim was not as good or fast or strong as the O'Malley brothers, but he was not terrible either.

"Aye we shall do so! Its a nightclub afterall! They do a good mix of folk rock music which you have heard here today, and modern dance-type music you find in clubs world wide. Allright lassies - let me take ya to yer wardrobes!" As Tim was walking towards the exit; Georgie came forward and offered a fatherly hug to Kiana as goodbye. He also said something to Tim down the lines of, - if she gets hurt under his watch, Tim's balls would be lost..

Warehouse 9, Marina Terminal

The soldatos, upon seeing the car approach, got up from their seats and felt for their weapons. The older man went up to the new arrivals and asked, "Who might you be?"

Lex's two bodyguards who were armed with the rifles were watching the whole scene from a respectable distance. One of the men used his scope to survey the new car and the arrivals. It was hard to see through the rain, but he made out the unmistakable features of Azula. He radioed Lex, informing him that the man had arrived. The other soldier was in the car, on his computer, and searching through the camera footage, observing the surrounding area. He hadn't seen much, just the standard workers. Although, he did see one of them carrying a case of some kind and heading over to the broken crane. Keeping a mental note of this, he kept looking at the live feed.

Kiana and Caja. With Tim.
Kiana had been slightly surprised by the kiss, but pleasantly so - the perfume was really nice. She would not have minded, if the kiss was more like a lover's one... the hug from Georgie was nice, too.
Caja, meanwhile, grinned at Tim mentioning, that the Malibu played similar songs to those here sometimes - she did not like the modern electric dance music bullshittery, so it was very welcome. It would be fun...
...and who knew, maybe Tim would not only get a few dances...
When they left, she was tempted to tell the owner, that they would be fine, but she left him be.
"So...", she said after Tim was sitting on the driver's seat again, bowing down to look inside of the Taxi with a grin, "Hi... do you also drive to the Upperdeck?"
It was a joke and a game. That her topmost buttons of the blouse were still open was an added bonus for Tim.

Johnny Azula

As Johnny was greeted and asked who he was, he grinned maliciously in a type of 'who the hell are you not to know me' grin. He let out a soft scoff before replying "Oh me? Just your paycheck for the night.. Now stop tossing around, take me inside. Lets get this shit out the way.." he flashed a malicious look at the 'doorman' suspecting them to be the reason for the publicity of the meeting tonight. Johnny was still puffing on his signature fat cigar.

As Tim got behind the steering wheel and closed his door - his window open, Caja leaned on the door and spoke to him

"Hi... do you also drive to the Upperdeck?"

While this happened, Tim was greeted to another view of paradise as the topmost buttons of the blouse was down.. Tim decided to play along, since he benifited greatly. He stayed silent for quite a long moment, arching his bow, as if he was thinking deeply - pretending to build suspense in order to capture the moment of paradise deeply into his mind. He eventually answered in the positive with a large smile and soft laughter and started the car.

Kiana and Caja. With Tim.
Caja giggled softly as well as she opened the door and sat down next to him on the co-driver's seat.
"I take this as a 'yes', then!", she said with a grin. She had seen, where his eyes had stayed the most (not her face), but she did not mind, leaning over to him, whispering into his ear, her breath stroking his ear: "And I like the 'yes' you also said to me... a woman likes to be admired. My face is a bit upwards, though!"
To show him, that she wasn't holding it against him, she softly kissed his cheek.
Kiana, on the rear bench, looked out of the window, leaving them to their privacy.

Sir William Southall
Upperdeck Hotel

"Thank you, very much," Southall replied with a smile. He picked up the keys from the desk and replaced them with a small tissue-paper packet of the same value as the one he gave the taxi driver. He grinned and placed his suitcase down, well assured that it would be carried up to his room. He ascended the stairs and entered his room. He removed his shoes, almost in an instant, and threw them down by the door. Southall almost glided to the bed and threw himself upon it. He let out a deep sigh and scribbled a quick note on a scrap of paper in his overcoat pocket.

'Please wake me up' It read.

He placed the note in full view at the end of the bed and fell, instantly, into sleep.

Near the docks, Penny and Evan
The access road to the docks was busy but flowing with a steady stream of container trucks bringing in 40ft and 20ft containers on the back of trailers as other trucks carry similar 20 and 40ft containers outward to be distributed all over the island state of Port Ember, not to mention the odd transit bus carrying workers to and from the port complex itself making up the bulk of traffic.

not too far away is the helicopter that is escorting the Prime minister of Greater Orcadia and Penny has caught sight of it and so she picks up the 2 way radio and keys the mike.
"Evan, look up to the left, see it?" she calls

Evan glances up, "the heli, police is it?"

"no, looks more like military but its looking for something, see the search light?"

Over the CB her highland twang gives her away as an orcadian highlander, ot the 'Heilans' as its known as back home, Evan has a slight Californian twang to his accent

"ya know what Penn, it could be escorting Gordo to the Embassy"

"oh for fuck sake, ya's mean we gonna end up in that traffic. Oh, bollocks!" laughs Penny, "anyway ya know which entrance we're taking?"

"Think so" replies Evan, glancing at his papers "looks like its gate two bravo, then we have to make our way through the complex to the jetty to the moored ship, Tiggy might call soon wanting to know where we are"

"maybe but we'll call in once we've unloaded, then we've tomorrow off i think as we will have to attend the opening, though I'd rather not. I'd rather be around the island somewhere but ya know"

Gudfrey's freight
Back when the the Salty and her husband arrived, their documents were handed over, it was at this point during the entering of data onto the system which allows for contractors and employees to be paid that Penny's passport came to be noted that her passport is well travelled, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Australia but that wasn't the main issue here, the fact it said DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT on the cover could be an issue.

Motorcade - Prime Minister Ian Gordon
As the glittering high rise buildings towered over the city, Ian made some notes as did the two other ministers, even the driver of the Prime Ministerial car seemed impressed.

"They've come on Ian, you think?" comments William Fox

"o'ch aye. that they have. When My grandfather was here during the second world war it wasn't quite so much, its come on A wee bit"

"So, Ian, how's Phenom doing, Warszinski's daughter? has she come here?"

"aye Bill, she's doing well and I think Nick said she would be coming here"

William laughed "We best tell the pubs to tag their glasses then, I think Nick wants to push us to get a trade deal too"

"aye, but we can talk that over tomorrow after we have all met the president and openned the embassy"

the ride continues.....

Warehouse 9, Marina Terminal

The younger man was now worried.

"Ho-, hold on there mate. I can't-"

"Let him through."

Lex was standing in the doorway, flanked by both of his men. He was glad that Azula had shown up, and especially on time. He went forward and extended his hand.

"A pleasure to finally meet you, King Shark. Please, come inside and we can talk business."

He pointed to the truck with the cargo container behind him.

Undisclosed Location, Marina Terminal

The guard watching the live camera feed suddenly got a message on his phone. It was a notification from the local PD. Apparently, there was a rather large detachment assembling over there, with extra police cruisers on the ready. He made a note of this and kept his eye on the police station.

Tyler Mackenzie, Lollipop Gentlemen's Club

He walked in, dressed in his dark suit filled with weapons, drugs and other such things. He requests a "briefcase without love", using it as code, telling the man at the club he'd like to speak to Azula....
