The crew set themselves up, which took a few minutes, the cameraman indeed noting the small plaque, making his reporter aware of it with a small word in Kyrenaian, he made a mental note to get a shot of it later.
When the crew was ready, they told that in a quick word in Kyrenaian as well, the cameraman shouldering his device and pointing it at Zoe, who was hugging the mast. It looked a bit awkward, but to each their own, the cameraman thought.
A red light went on.
"And we roll.", the reporter said - of course, they were recording and not directly sending, which gave them the option for post-production. "So, we are aboard the Luna Mysteria, 23rd of Decembre 2018. Sinope Old Harbour, attending the Festival. It's now... 11:16 o'clock." He looked to Zoe. "Alright, Miss, please introduce yourself and your vessel in a few sentences."

Taking a moment to compose herself, Zoe, still casually hugging the mast gave a polite smile "Good morning I'm Zoe Mariner, owner of Meridian Cargo Services which is a division of Meridian Seaways which was founded by my late grandfather and welcome aboard Luna Mysteria, she's a small thirty four foot cruising yacht that was built almost fourty years ago and is now on her second life after languishing in a sorry state when I found her. She was lying submerged in a marina and the marina owners contacted her original owners as the marina just wanted it gone, the owners didn't want her, so I took her". It was at that moment that Jax came out on deck and made his way over to Zoe, lying down on the Solar pannels!, Zoe picks back up again, "...and its been a sixty day tour to get here as we meandered along and stopped off and visited places on the way and took shelter from storms as she's actually a coastal boat"

But let me tell you Prince, if you had done that, we would have gladly showed you our capabilities. And since at the time, you were knee-deep in the shit called the Decolonization Wars, I wonder how well you would have handled our response."

Ilia was, for a long moment, confused, cocked his head, even and then it dawned upon him.
He burst out laughing, loud and resounding, which caused his Aide-de-Camp to raise an eyebrow. He raised a hand to ask for a moment, got his laugh under control and wiped a tear from his eye.
"Needed that one, thanks...", he said and took a deep breath, "So, laughs aside. Kyrenaia did not plan to attack Pearl Harbour, but a similar installation. Khuta Siad Altuyur was directed against a merry place called Lutetii, which we not only suspected, but also had evidence of supporting a number of rebellious groups and, quite frankly, terrorists during the Decolonization Wars." He made a dismissive hand gesture. "You were a minor power to us back then anyway, Kyrenaia had no issue with you."

Laila chuckled, smiled at both.
"The protective equipment...", she began, "...is usually made of light, but strong materials, foams and hard plastic. We wear helmets, neck guards, shoulder pads, a sort-of cuirass, greaves, vambraces, couters... it's more like an armour, really."
She smiled slightly.
"While in the hands of a skilled sailor, a Sand Skiff is not prone to accidents, those, which happen, are usually quite severe.", she added, then raised a finger. "One moment, I should have an image..."
She took out her smartphone, searched through her gallery for a moment and then turned it - to an image of herself, grinning, the helmet under one arm, a trophy in bronze under the other. It really looked like an armour, black, with an emblem on the left chest.
"We usually bind back our... well...", she glanced down at herself, to her chest.

The camera rolled and when Zoe was finished, the reporter nodded.
He made a few notes in his head: They had made a so called Harira-Trip, she was a businesswoman (logistics, by the sounds of it) and rescued this small vessel from a bad place and the scrapper's blowtorch. He would later ask, where they made stopovers.
He, now, asked. "And what is this lad's story?", he asked, motioning to the cat.

The Sultana waved to the men on the Tabardariyya ashore, smiling as she saw Aurelia take the wheel.
"First mate!", the Captain called, grinning, "Excellent work! Keep the sails taught, we don't have much wind to work with here!"
And indeed, there was not much wind to be felt, but that did not hinder them in the slightest.

Atif leaned over and pecked her onto the lips.
Staying not even a nose's length away, he replied: "Hearing your beautiful voice is only comparable to seeing your beautiful face.", he whispered to her, blushing lightly.

"Aye Aye, Captain!" She readied the sails to get the winds they needed. "Perfect. Sails are hoisted, Captain, we should have a good wind to propel us along! And the sky be clear and the waters calm!"

"Well hearing your voice is also music to my ears, Atif." Asuna smiled. "I know I come off as a silly girl but you really are my first date."

Alexander smiled and walked back over to the monitor. Once he was at the monitor, he spun it around so the people in the room could see what he was lookign at before speaking,

"Oh don't worry. I have more than enough time to host you on this ship. However, I was consulting the weather forecast and the seasonal typhoons will be picking up soon so it would be best if my crew and I were to leave on our journey this evening. However, until then I can show you around the ship and answer any questions you may have. Though if you excuse me for one moment, I need to inform my sailors of some housekeeping that needs to be done. It will only take a minute."

With that, Alexander walked down into the hold where some of his sailors were already gathered and he informed them about the cargo shipment that they had secured. Once he informed them of the shipment, he sent two of the sailors back to Mister Yatabarae's shop to pick up the prepackaged meals while he went back up to talk with the news crew.

It was like a red hot chili pepper, blended into a wild, diverse concoction. Sometimes, the spice manifested as unbridled anger that threatened to burn away the body, other times of his infamously lustful whims that sought to encapsulate his target within an unforgettable inferno.
But now, his flavor was bland, a bowl of peasant's porridge when it was supposed to be a curry of a thousand flavors all hot & all spiced, all set on blasting a fellow with intense bursts of heat. To let the spoon dip into the bowl, & see the raging red convert into a pale pallor of a meal was like seeing another person. Without Seafood around, Spiciness may well have been another person.

As the chef sang, he breathed in her scent just a little. Roses... when was the last time I gave anyone flowers, anyway! he thought, his singing imperceptibly faltering, Oh man, that's step one in anything. He looked around, trying to find some flowers he could pick for his boyfriend, but he figured that would be just a bit too embarrassing for him.
Spiciness was certain that Seafood would somehow find out & tease him about that.

And with that, and a hand gesture to Marla to stay, where she was, the Khana had pulled the Prince aside.
Marla was, as one could tell at a glance, growing into the role of a Princess, not being one originally. She smiled a bit nervously, though. "So...", she began after a moment, "...nice weather today, eh?"

The saleswoman smiled.
"Then you'll love this one, I am sure!", she stated and went to a nearby shelf, producing a stuffed toy.
It was a pudgy, slightly mouse-like creature in beige, large, triangular ears on its head. The eyes were dark, but somehow, with the muzzle on the short snout the way it was, one could not help but think, that the creature was looking naively, but curiously. The belly was of a light beige, the back being of a darker sand-brown.
It was insanely fluffy, although the 'fur' was only short.
"A Kyrenaian Desert Mouse.", she stated.

Shirin smiled.
"I have many siblings, and even more cousins and even a few nephews and nieces already.", she said with a smile, "As one of the older ones, I was often asked for advice, and even as a Handmaiden, I was the go-to person for advice."
She let a beat pass.
"Except for romantic advice.", she admitted, "I am not a romantic person..."

"Of course, I understand. Thank you." she stepped aside allowing them to pass and before long it was a bit quiet other than the background chatter and until the silence was broken up by another broaching with some small talk. "Oh yes, it is very nice today. Then again the desert I imagine things are more calm here compared to other coastal cities. Well it's perfect for a tourist like myself!"

"Aww" She took the plush into her hands "it's so cute! I'll take it!"

"Ah well, maybe you are and maybe you aren't but either way, you are you and someone who people look to. It's nice to be depended on."

"Wonderful.", Aurelia said with a grin to Marcella, "And we are even on schedule!"
Indeed, as the little Harira got underway, they were on time. And that was good. They would remain a bit out at sea, making a round of the Small Basin and go to their designated spot.
Soon, the parade would begin.
"It would be a beautiful day for sailing...", Aurelia said with a wistful sigh, "Only the two of us and this boat."

"It's not silly.", Atif said with a smile, "You're not the first girl I go out with, but... you're the first girl I feel something for in my heart. More then carnal desires, but... I am drawn to you."
He smiled, leaned forward.
"No matter what happens after today, I will remember you.", he said.

The leader of the small crew nodded.
"Sure, Sir, take your time.", he said and the crew began to set up.
They would do a small interview first, was the reasoning, the tour could be abbreviated, if everything else failed. They chose to have both the interviewer and Alexander stand, with a good view over the deck, at a spot, where they would, hopefully, not stand in the way.
When Alexander returned, the first question, before the camera rolled, was: "We're not standing in the way of anyone, are we, Captain?"

Ava, meanwhile, was concentrating onto driving, but she, too, had a thought.
She was mighty interested in these two Aspects, their story and their being... not in a romantic sense, that was true, but if a short trip of riding out came out of it, she would not say no either.
It was written nowhere in the Arts of being a Spiorad, that a Spiorad had to be a dead fish.
Still, she might wanted to make a good first impression... he was sick, so what to do... cut flowers were a highly unusual thing in Kyrenaia and a potted plant would not be allowed, as would be food. But maybe...
She slowed and came to a stop in front of a bookstore.
"Say, my friend...", Ava began, "...your friend, does he like to read? And if so, what does he like?"

He raised a hand. "Although, granted, he was a very good administrator and theorist, but he and his staff were... idiots."
He shrugged.
"And whoever had the bright idea to weld something like the Yamato together, he was... call it thirty years too late.", he added.

Spiciness glanced at the bookstore, thinking. "Better question is if either of us can read!" he joked, smiling like an idiot, "But anyway, I don't think either of us like to read, unless you mean... well, I think you can figure out what I'm, uh, implying." He sighed, turning away as a bright crimson blush came over him. "M-man, it's actually kind of hard being myself without him around..." he said, rubbing his face, "I think we should just get a move on, anyway. I think me being there would be enough of a gift for him, but hopefully he won't still be acting so weirdly... It really does hurt to have seen him like that. I think right now the only thing we can do is rest up for tomorrow. I really don't think either of us will have enough energy to do our normal things, but maybe... Oh not that I can complain, I'm just surprised is all. I'll have to make it up with my two friends later seeing as this did happen no sooner we stepped ashore here. Well I am mostly here to see the ships after all."

"Ooh my...." She blushed thinking not sure what he'd like but she wouldn't mind getting him something to show him some gratitude. "Oh he's...He's a boy I just met..." She did want to respect his privacy and ideally not cause a fuss with his status here. It'd probably be like if the Empress was incognito in a little town shop, surely she'd be there for a nice cup of tea and a desert of some sort, like pie. "Yeah I'd like to give him something. Again I'd like to ask for your best suggestion? I know what girls like but boys are a mystery to me." she giggle nervously.

"Ooh E. Bass, you're a musician too? Wow! Milady can sing pretty nice so maybe I can watch the both of you do a little duet!" Well she had no idea if it would happen, but two women she admired it certainly sounded like an amazing idea. "More and more you just prove how undeniably awesome you are, Shirin-chaan! I know you said no honorifics needed but I just had to add one more, it sounds so great on you!"

Cormag and Alexander bend their mouths as if individually preparing for a kiss, nodding to her reply.

"And how much does those cost," asked Alexander.

"Yamamoto was an idiot.", Ilia said in no uncertain terms, "It's not even like with Rommel, who wasn't in Africa for most of the time, because he fell ill time and time again due to the Desert Climate, but well and truly, Yamamoto was an idiot." He raised a hand. "Although, granted, he was a very good administrator and theorist, but he and his staff were... idiots."
He shrugged.
"And whoever had the bright idea to weld something like the Yamato together, he was... call it thirty years too late.", he added.

"Can't say we disagree with you on both points, replies Thomas. Yamamoto had some skills, true, but I personally think that once we had cracked their codes, they were doomed, no matter what they planned. To say that we even participated in the mission to kill him, he adds with a circular gaze to his wingmates.
-True, replies Joe. Although we didn't took care of his plane ourselves, we still managed to take out his staff. As for the Yamato, you're right Prince. At this time, it was clear that the age of battleships was at its twilight."

Zoe went on to explain the stop overs, most were to take shelter from storms whilst others were sight seeing, especially as the little Luna Mysteria is a long way from home, however when the cat was mentioned, Zoe smiled, "oh Jax, he's part of the family now, had him since he was a kitten, we were sitting on the boat watching the sun go down and could hear meowing near the jetty and there he was, a thin, skinny kitten and so we took him in, hes been with us now for three years, he's now part of the family and travels with us everywhere"

Alexander almost laughed at how polite the reporter was with asking if they were in the way.

"No, not at all! So what questions do you have for me on this beautiful day?"

While Alexander stood on the raised quarter deck with the camera crew, other members of his ship crew started to return from their time out on the town. They all returned more or less sober-ish and were capable of performing their duties. As they settled in, a couple sailors started to run about the decks of the ship moving containers and other materials to prepare for the voyage. From up on the quarter deck, everyone could see a couple sailors hoisting heavy ropes out of the hold while others were busy scrubbing the decks. Three sailors appeared to be repairing minor damages to the hull and the deck looked bright and bustling. While Alexander and the journalists watched, the crew of the Geezer's Rest slowly started to prepare for its voyage to Meninx. As Alexander listened to the journalists, he spread open the map of Kyrenaia that he had gotten on a table.

I feel like he has a surprise in store for me."

Ava smiled softly, going back to her bike.
"I'm sure he has.", she told him softly, extending her hand to place it onto his head in a comforting gesture. "And you being there will do wonders for him, too."
She waited until he was seated behind her again, held tight - and she still did not care, where he grabbed, only that he grabbed tight and firm. It wouldn't help anyone if he fell off during the ride, after all.
The engine, after a short flick, began to hum lowly.

Amina's Great-Uncle is the Khan of Sinope."
She let a beat pass before she extended her hand. "I'm Marla."

The saleswoman smiled, putting the stuffed animal into the basket.
"So...", she asked, rising up, "Anything else you'd like?" She let a beat pass. "Maybe something... for a boy you like? Who was the chap you came in with anyway?"

Shirin smiled.
"It indeed is.", she said and motioned for Yuki to follow her, inside of the shop, where Mahmut was already by the counter, in the waiting zone. "But also a huge responsibility. I must admit, I like it more, when I'm just Shirin, that Handmaiden with the Electric Bass."
Her addition was accompanied by a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Marla, I'm Yuzu. I'm visiting with my two friends all the way from Kuronami. I admit I didn't expect to suddenly be spirited away to rub elbows with this country's elite. "Then you certainly came to the right place!", she exclaimed, "Sinope today is filled with exciting and interesting ships for sailing! But also a few old evergreens, like the Aurelia here. This is an old Selkie-Design, after all."
She let a beat pass, extending her hand.
"Come, let's get a better view of the Small Basin!", she offered with a grin.

The saleswoman smiled a bit wider.
Well, Prince Mahmut was certainly a boy one met on the street... of course she recognized the future Ilkhan of Megido, speculation about who his real father was, plus the fact, that he was quite a charming lad with a girlfriend and more lovers then the HGA had students... he certainly was a good catch.
"Hm... he seems like a boy of class and style.", she suggested and smiled.

'Shirin-chan' smiled, not minding, that she got one in the end anyways.
"Thank you. I would love to play a duet with your Lady, when we meet one day.", she agreed with a firm nod, not making it a question about if or if not, but one of when. I must admit, though, that I am not good as a singer, so I'll gladly leave that part to her. I am teaching Mahmut in the arts of bass-playing, though!"

Edward, walking along the Promenade, would have the choice of the many different boats on display, both foreign and domestic, from Kyrenaian Bagalas and Jaras Type vessels to Xebecs and even some ordinary sail fishing vessels and even a replica of a Kyrenaian Frigate from 1799. Selkie-vessels were out as well, plus ships from places like Markaz, Lutetii and others in the general area... and from further away, like a place called the Polish-Prussian Commonwealth, which was so obviously a warship, that one could only shake the head.
Not all vessels were open for visitors, though: The Takhatiy, Dardan-Ilkhan's personal yacht, was closed to the public, despite the Ilkhana and the Khana of Las having a demonstration fight after the other in front of it, even against eager volunteers. At the moment, that concerned two young men, who seemed to put up a good fight, if one looked at the exertion the two women displayed.
The entire pier on which the Aurelia and the Harira sat was closed off by fearsome men in lamellar armour and with tall pole axes.
All in all, it was festive, much to see and many people seeing it, as well as enough concessionaries and harbourfront restaurants to not go hungry - and the old warehouses, too, had opened for art exhibitions and even, in one case, a concert of small, local bands.

Meanwhile, Jessica had quite a choice in front of herself, too: The Merchant Navy Academy's Hammam was open today, the little Saghir Hammam, boasting exclusive services at exclusive prices, tourist-friendly Old Town Hammam were available, all of them open and all of them all too happy to receive well-paying guests.
And who knew, she might be able to find nice people to share a bath with, like the trio of young men, two of them black haired, one grey haired, none of the three looking older then twenty-five. They were grinning, talking to a Kyrenaian woman, asking her for direction to the next Hammam in English, receiving an answer in the same language.
They got directed towards the Saghir.

There were lot of choices in front of him when it came to ships as he walked along the promenade, an replica of an frigate of the Kyrenaian Navy from the late XIII Century, Bargalas, Jaras and some fishing vessels were part of it.
Of course there were foreign vessels from other places around the world The Selkie, Lutetii and even the Polish-Prussians were present here too... With an warship to be more precise.

Edward thought about how the hell did an militarized Windjammer was able to be here passing the restrictions that were present??? His mind just thought of the most possible explanation on his eyes a training vessel??? Might be wrong though but it seemed the most possible explanation on his eyes.
But either way that didn't mattered for the moment, he just kept walking and enjoying his time and the view from the promenade.

As he walked, he could notice somethings to do around the area, some for him to be able to enjoy alone and others for later on with his wife. One of them was a demostration fight happening in front of an ship that he could watch as an simple pedestrian or tourist, then he got some restaurants for eat and that surely will request an reserve for later on the day, some warehouses open for art exhibitions and an concert.

Then he got an idea for the evening, Jess and him walking together and at peace through the promenade to then eat something in one of those harbourfront restaurants to then enter to some of those exhibitions and that concert, if they still are open by the hour and end the night on Sinope watching the moon together as their hands linked together and watched the scene in silence to then have an wonderful kiss as the light of the moon iluminated them.
The perfect way for them to end an wonderful day of this festival. He just needed to check the hour and the time to see if he has more than enough for that plan and enjoy his own time. "Thank god, I have more than enough and knowing how she loves an good bath I'll have an extra too" Edward sighed in relief as his eyes stopped to see the watch, "Well let's see how that fight ends since I'm quite curious of the result" then he went to watch that fight, seems his curiosity won once again.

It looked like an tie to be honest, those two guys were giving quite an good fight to the ladies with neither having the upper hand. This surely was to be interesting.

Meanwhile on the other side of the city Jessica was searching for some bath to go and being honest she got no idea where to go since she didn't knew the city and was forced to rely in people of here to help her to get her to an bath.
Question was to who she could ask?? And thankfully as it was an miracle in which god intervined, three young guys maybe on their early twenties was there, talking with an woman in english for directions to an bath and so she closed to them but keeping an distance from them but being close enough to hear the talk.

Once the talk ended and those guys walked en route to their destiny, she begun to follow them and touched the shoulder of the grey-haired guy to gain their attention.

"Excuse me guys, I couldn't hold myself from hear the talk you three got with that woman about directions to an bath and I was asking if I could join you three since I don't know the city" she asked a little nervious about how they would react.

Do it quick, for the love of the Valar don't make this awkward. he resolved, and did so. Upon closer inspection, Fara would notice the scars that Aceus had across his torso and chest region. Almost a few months before the Sultana's Ascencion ball, he had tanked a bomb to the chest and by miracle, survived. While his scars were nowhere near as noticeable as Fara's they still dotted Aceus's body. As for the body itself, he had done well to get rid of the gradually encroaching chubiness that came with being a poltician. Not quite pinup material, but not as flabby as he was when the two first met. However, Aceus's face was a beet red, though admirably attempting a confident, or at least stoic smirk. "Well...er, let's get to it." Aceus began, staggering to form a sentence.

One day it would likely be just the two of them but for now they had to be mindful of their guests and the important event going on here. Marcella kept her eyes peeled like a good lookout to warn if any hazards like derbies or even stray ships should turn up. Given she's worked just about every position on a ship she was able to do anything asked of her. "We're clear sailing, captain, no signs of hazards in the water!"

"Aw shucks...I'm sure I will remember you too..." It made her think how she'd have to weigh if this didn't get beyond a simple one night stand. She was in deep now. But she'd have to not let it drag the evening and long distance relations were hard enough without dwelling on it before anything solid began.

Zoe pointed each one out in turn,
"Gina and I go back since two thousand when Gina was putting things back together after a rough time. And Robbie is Gina's soul mate"

Jax caught sight of a reflection from the rigging of the Milenka which was moored next to the little Luna, trying to bat the reflection with his paw.

"Also on board are a group of Lillorainenians who own the Milenka which is tied up next to us and a guest from the Polish Prussian Commonwealth who also has a boat here."

Well, Prince Mahmut was certainly a boy one met on the street... of course she recognized the future Ilkhan of Megido, speculation about who his real father was, plus the fact, that he was quite a charming lad with a girlfriend and more lovers then the HGA had students... he certainly was a good catch.

'Shirin-chan' smiled, not minding, that she got one in the end anyways.

"Sounds like a great plan!" Linking arms with Marla, she grinned and added, "Lead the way if you'd please! And I must agree, The Aurelia here, she's a real beauty of a ship! How about yourself, Marla you seem to be something of a nautical enthusiast yourself?"

"Very much so. So something appropriate would be nice for a boy like him."

Kyrenaia wrote:"Depends on your own budget, really.", Laila replied, "If you want, you can buy a new suit for three hundred Barqas - or one for five thousand." She let a beat pass. "If you want to try the sport out, though, most rentals also provide the suits to the skiffs, so don't worry about that."

Cormag and Alexander nodded, though the price for the suits threw them off for a bit, their bodies leaning backward as if trying to stay away from a bug of revolting proportions.

"Wait, how much is one Barqa," asked Cormag.

"Also, how can we rent one skiff. And if that doesnon work, can we actually build one," Alexander asked.

"Why are you," Cormag asked before his question faded into confusing silence.

"I wunnae try it out, mate. To see what it's like."

Cormag nods before he turned to Laila once more.

"Dinnon bring me out when Edmund's there, alright?"

"Dinnon worry, mate. I'll be sure to ensure your fragile safety is at hand," Alexander grinned.

The intricate dance of the blades, heavy sabres swishing past heads and limbs by the breadth of a hair, never clashing as the quick, almost dance-like moves of all four fighters brought them close, but never together.
Both redheads held themselves less like the formal, soldierly way the two men did, but a bit more like bandits, which was reflected by their weapons of choice: While the men fought with Type 1 Sabres, the women fought with Type 4 Sabres, easily distinguished by the heavy spine and the long handle with the wide, rounded guard.
And then - the younger of the two women miscalculated, tripped, fell to the ground.
Immediately, the older was there, going on the offensive to protect her partner. And what an offensive it was! Like a tornado of steel, the older of the two descended upon the men, keeping them both busy...
...and driving one back, letting the other slip away to the side, where he had a good shot at the younger, who was still getting up.
A mighty heave later, the girl was on her back again, her own weapon two metres away and the tip of the man's at her throat.
A whistle sounded and a voice declared the two men victors.
Applause as the contestants sheathed their swords, got up and assembled opposite to each other, bowing their heads to one another. The men bowed noticeably deeper.
The women expressed their gratitude for a good fight in Kyrenaian, the men replied in kind and then, the demonstration was over. The men tried to go, but they were soon almost besieged by adoring fans, the two women watched the spectacle as a Handmaiden brought water bottles.
The two of them looked closely related as they sat there on a bollard... and smiled as a few girls approached them.
Edward might have noticed him sooner, but the young man next to him, dark-skinned and still blonde, with red eyes, dressed in a good stroller and walking on a cane of dark wood, spoke up: "Ah, Las' tradition in fencing came to bear again... refreshing to watch, don't you think, Sir?"

The young men turned and looked at the woman, Jessica as they (maybe) would find out soon.
The grey-haired man spoke up: "We don't know Sinope either.", he said with a small, reserved grin, "But we would be glad, if you'd come along, Ma'am."
The two black haired young men nodded, the younger of them offering his arm for Jessica to link. "I'm Fintan.", he introduced himself, motioning the older black haired young man, "That's Eoin and that..." He motioned to the grey haired one, who gave a small wave. "...is Conner."
"May we ask for your name, Ma'am?", Eoin asked.

The reporter nodded.
So... that cleared the crew and friends aboard, the cameraman motioning for him to wait for a minute with the next question, instead filming a minute of Jax playing with the reflexion. He nodded to Zoe, for a moment - it would look cute and cute things were always good, even if they landed on the cutting room floor.
That minute had passed, the reporter clearing his throat.
"We'll talk to the Milenka's crew later.", he resolved, and smiled slightly, "As it appears, you are holding your own little festival here. How did you find the larger festival around you, so far? I mean, a few of the main events are still out, but... your impression, really."

Marla grinned a bit sheepish.
"Nautical, not exactly.", she admitted, "I am more into swimming. Still has something to do with the seas." She leaned over with a small smile, a bit wistful at the edges. "My great role model is Princess Fara... she's so beautiful and strong and a wonderful swimmer!"
Going back, she grinned as they reached the portside of the Sun Deck, overlooking the Small Basin. Not too far away, the Godspeed sat at the wharf, a sister of the Aurelia, the SFSS Malika Aljazirat wasn't too far away as well. The HMSS Hoshi was on the other side.
Plus a few Kyrenaian vessels, the Nasim, Princess Fara's Yacht, and the Qarsan, Tariqa bint-Ilia's Yacht, most notably, but also a Hjemland-class Sailing Vessel by the name of Ajnabi, which meant foreigner.
The name was programme as she was most famously used in several movies to depict foreign vessels, most notably in Stranger's Tides.
"So... any boat catching your eye?", Marla asked.

"Hm...", the saleswoman made, "I am not sure, to be honest."
She looked to her customer.
"Maybe something cute to remember you?", she suggested as an easier option. She had said, that she was easier with cute stuff.

Shirin smiled, putting her hand softly on Yuki's head.
"And so will be you, no matter what you attempt, Yuki-chan.", she said, using honorifics herself, with a small smile. "Rock their world!"
Mahmut watched from the side with a small smile.

They also rent out. Here in Sinope, there are three or four places to rent skiffs, but I'd have to look up their addresses."
She thought for a moment.

The harbour's waters were mostly clear of debris, the harbour authorities were very keen on that, even having a small flotilla of boats present and ready to collect everything. That did not mean, that the water was clean, quite on the contrary. Sinope was at the mouth of a major river and a major harbour, sadly, pollution came with that no matter how tight the regulations were.
Other vessels, however, was a different question, as the Labiwa, the Sail Training Vessel of the Sultan's Navy, was casting off the moorings to depart, towards the parade's starting spot.
Of course, such a large vessel had a hard time spotting such a small boat as the Harira, but the other way around...

Atif smiled, as if he could read her thought process.
"We should order.", he suggested, as if to change the topic, raising his hand to flag down a waiter.
A second later, a young and quite pretty woman stood at their table, delivering a glass of water for both of them for free and the menus.
"Our recommendation for the day...", she spoke in clear syllables, giving her an odd accent in her English, "...is Kubbeh, a dish of ground grain, we use Sorghum, onions and finely ground meat, which is spiced, and then either served in fried patties, ideal for a small, light lunch."
Spiced in this case meant, that people unused to it began to breathe fire.

"Oh, double dates usually go into dance halls, dinner is being had usually before that.", she explained, "And I like the idea. Karaoke is more something you do with a bunch of friends and not for a date. How often I went to the next karaoke bar with the Team..." She giggled. "...it's uncountable!"
She then nodded.
"So, Aceus, that finishes off your back.", she said, turning around to face his head again, still straddling him, "Now I need you to turn around."

"Erm...that's gonna be a bit difficult with you pinning me down a bit." Aceus chuckled nervously, before composing himself.

Fara almost laughed at his staggering sentence, speaking of a confidence, which was... in question. For an outside observer, it would look like something they would need a condom for, after all.
However, then she noticed the first and second scar, then quite a few more.
Sure, he wasn't pin-up material, hasn't been, when they met, but... he got better. And the scars... she knew the story behind them, learned it from the boulevard, not from him.
She extended a hand, let one of her fingers softly trace one of the less noticeable ones.
"We both have a talent for finding friends with a temper, don't we?", she asked silently, then bowed down to him, softly bringing her lips to one of the scars on his chest, tracing its length with her lips.
As she was finished, she, still bowed down, embracing him almost, looked up to him, nestling her head on his chest.
"This in not a massage technique...", she admitted, "...but could you please embrace me for a moment?"

Fara's tracing Aceus's scars was received as well as one would expect it. The whole ordeal was rather unexpected, risque, and honestly a bit thrilling. In spite of the two not knowing each other much personally, Aceus trusted her greatly. It was just a shame that things were so...intimate that Aceus felt that he couldn't reciprocate in kind. At least until now.

Aceus would wrap one of his arms across Fara's shoulderblades, the other gently keeping her head near the beating heart. Being taller than her by only a few centimeters apparently made all the difference, as Fara would gradually relax in his embrace. "For future reference, you don't need to ask a Dancerian to be hugged, or permission to hug him. Especially between close acquaintances." he would whisper, coyly rubbing the top-back portion of her head, reminiscent of a noogie, but not nearly as hard. It was meant to be in good fun, as Dancerians often verbally fenced with their companions, and if the Dancerian King was correct in where Fara enjoyed being massaged, it would be very well received. However, Aceus's coy smile softened into a look of concern, as Fara looked...downcast. Did she feel selfish for worrying about her own scar, when Aceus endured several? He was bare-chested when first entering the Hammam, so it couldn't have been that...

In any case, Aceus was content to hold Fara close, for as long as she'd like. Before continuing. "This brings me to another question...public displays of affection. Yes? No? Too early considering Ilkhan Dardan hasn't quite warmed up to me yet...?"
