The mercenaries don't have a "side" -- they're mercenaries. They may or may not have an ideological lean towards one side or the other; some are cutthroats who make themselves available to the highest bidder, while others are just neutrals who can either be taken advantage of or...persuaded

I've loved Bjorn Hurri for a long time; I'm glad others are starting to appreciate him! the picture I used for my queen, Autumn, is actually his picture of Steampunk Princess Leia:

Oh, and I've updated the OP to make the cast list a bit more accessible, with complete bios spoilered instead of linked. I've also included people's more specific weapon choices, as well as airships if they have declared one of their own. Now is the time to tell me if you want me to update those bits of your entry. This makes for a total of 86 crewmembers and 6 diplomatic personel. Technological they're a bit behind on standards around here, so they're not to big of a might by themselves.

I don't see how the first one could ever fly, so I'm going to have to say no; the second one is a bit of a stretch, but I can let it slide.
