As usual, the day started early for the sailors of the SMS Pommern, or, as her crew called her 'Seeadler 2, diesel-powered boogaloo.'
At 0400 hours, the midnight watch turned in, while the rest of the crew awoke, ate quickly, and went to their stations.
At 0800 the first watch swapped out.
At 1200, the second watch swapped out.
So on and so forth, every 4 hours a different fourth of the crew swapping out for another. Of course, sometimes, in pirate-infested areas, this changed to 12-hours shifts by half of the crew at once. While the ship had passed the Strait of Hormuz without any problems, at Malacca a trio of pirate vessels had mistaken the Pommern for an easy target, only to have their engines shot out by the Oberbootsmann's Wz. 35 anti-tank rifle. Automatic weapons from the rest of the crew turned the actual pirates into fish chum.

At last, though, the windjammer puttered into port, the low hum of the diesel engine fading as the ship eased up to the dock.
The gangplank lowered, and the first off was Korvettenkapitän Fredrick von Mücke. Following him was Marie Ernst Glück.
How the grizzled old naval officer had met the 20-year-old college student was the subject of many rumors, some of them more...slanderous than others. In truth, the story was much simpler; the son of one of von Mücke's comrades had introduced her to him, and they had taken a liking to each other.
Of course, that's boring, so the gossiping and rumor-mongering went on, much to the annoyance of the subjects of those rumors.

Fredrick approached a customs official. "Korvettenkapitän Fredrick von Mücke, at your service. I command the Pommern, over there. Are there any forms that need to be signed, or any searches to be performed?"

This post, underlinings by me.
This, to me, means, that he went off his vessel and approached a Kyrenaian official to allow his vessel to be registered and searched, if needed. So, he is not only in Kyrenaia and on Kyrenaian ground and soil, but also allows Kyrenaian officials to search his little boat if they see fit, subjecting himself and his crew to Kyrenaian rights and laws. So... No. They are not onboard their ship anymore and his crew can do jack shit without risking a diplomatic incident, which you do not want.
Besides, the only one to be taken into custody are the two Captains, while the Funkenmariechen is only needed for her testimony.

Fredrick whirled around and unsheathed his sabre, smirking. "Alexander, you magnificent son of a malnourished Russian whore! Come and face me!"

Sheathing his saber, Alexander ran surprisingly fast for a 70 year old up the gangplank and tackled Fredrick while parrying his saber with his sheath case. As they both tumbled to the deck the fists flew. As they pummeled each other Alex shouted,

"How's the family you old bastard? I haven't seen you in ages!"

Kyrenaia, I did mention in my post from the IC that Alexander ran up the gangplank and onto the ship... Think we may have a bit of a story error somewhere...
