Dreyse ended up dividing them up like he said, and appointed squad leaders.
"Alright... Assuming you won't shill my share of the score down, it all sounds good..." Kenji shrugged. "Claude here and I... should be able to deal with that, just fine. Isn't that right?"
Claude spoke for the first time. His voice was highly monotonous and deep. "Yes." was his simple answer.
"Right. Sorry for bein' so round the dinghy. Now, what ye'll do is stand by like the rest of us around those cargo crates near the cell where our hostage is and wait 'til they arrive, along wit' me an the rest of me crew." The captain explained.
"An' when the bastards come through an' try to free him, we takes him on in an ambush as we surrounds 'em, wit' me shoutin' somethin' epic like 'AVAST YE, LANDLUBBERS!'" The captain yelled as he drew his hand mortar and raised it up high. "There, ye'll gets behind that barnacle-scrubbing country boy Ace and hold him at the back wit' that gun of yers to make sure he isn't going to pull us a ruse, and if any one of them act, don't hold back the thought of blowing the men down... by which I mean killin' him, of course."
Meanwhile, aboard the ship, about 30 minutes later...
"So you're telling me, this would be where our Katáskopos was taken in? This is a dangerous place, amigo..." Guido said.
"Si. He's being left in the cargo hold in a cell, deep within the hold of the Viperfish. Just be careful where we tread... I have a feeling we're not exactly alone." Goldenheart said.
