Good morning!

Hi there! I'm the Solisian Union and this is my universal thread for my lores and my maintenance! I hope that you will have fun reading through whatever is going to be posted here that concerns my worlds, my nations and basically anything I make ^^

So anyway, shall I get started? Tee hee. Anyway, um, welcome! While this is mainly for Solisia, it too can be for the other nations I have in my pockets.

On the other hand, you wondering about the name? Well, that's just for creativity~ Adds a little spice to the thread if we make it the property of a former Solisian princess, no? :D

Princesa Serena's

Universal Maintenance Thread!

A humble thread for posting facts and opinions and whatever else is important to the player of the nations presented here~ A simply maintenance and lord thread!

1.) This thread is for GD, Varathron and so many other canons that will be listed here only. The purpose of this thread is to help people understand my nations more and to see how I write and to basically serve as my way of showing off what I am so happy to make! Spammers, trolls, and other disruptions make it more difficult for me to do that so please don't! :(

2.) As always, standard NS rules apply.

3.) This thread is an IC thing! But I'm happy to update this with some OOC details and what not~!

THIS is the OP of my thread! There is nothing else like it! >:(

Song of the Solisian Army - Call To Arms

Using the music of Socialist World Republic - Sozialistische Weltrepublik

Sandranista, a whisper is going around the world
Do you even hear it?
The enemies of the country are murmuring
Oh, do you even hear it?

It's the whispering of vicious nationalists and imperialists
Combined with the lashing of the tongues of industrialists and extremists
Their whispering is coming from everywhere on the world
It's mobilization against the Sandran Union!

My brothers, my sisters, do arm yourselves!
Arm yourselves with the guns
Of your mothers and fathers!
All to annihilate the threats!
Cleansing them of their hate!
Planting our banners of labor and unity
To rise once again from the old ruins
The Sandran Union!

My brothers, my sisters, do arm yourselves!
Arm yourselves with the guns
Of your mothers and fathers!
All to annihilate the threats!
Cleansing them of their hate!
Planting our banners of labor and unity
To rise once again from the old ruins
The Sandran Union!

My brothers, my sisters, do arm yourselves!
Arm yourselves with the guns
Of your mothers and fathers!
All to annihilate the threats!
Cleansing them of their hate!
Planting our banners of labor and unity
To rise once again from the old ruins
The Sandran Union!

Sieg Heil Viktoria

A Solisian Federated Empire Song adapted from Sieg Heil Viktoria

Farewell my truest love of all,
Farewell, farewell, farewell,
Alas, I must part with you,
Farewell, farewell, farewell,
For I fight for the Sun's Glory!
Glory! Glory!
Hail! Hail! Hail! Victory!
Hail Victory!

Our sight and aim are finely tuned!
Farewell, farewell, farewell,
On the enemies of the celestial beings!
Farewell, farewell, farewell!
For I fight for the Sun's Glory!
Glory! Glory!
Hail! Hail! Hail! Victory!
Hail Victory!

We never rest, our men press on!
Farewell! Farewell! Farewell!
Until we've broke the unnatural!
Farewell! Farewell! Farewell!
For I fight for the Sun's Glory!
Glory! Glory!
Hail! Hail! Hail! Victory!
Hail Victory!

Give me your hand, my beloved husband/wife!
Farewell, Farewell, Farewell,
A parting kiss, and then adieu!
Farewell, Farewell, Farewell!
For I fight for the Sun's Glory!
Glory! Glory!
Hail! Hail! Hail! Victory!
Hail Victory!

Love, Love, Love

A Nannasian song popular among the Nannasian troops who crush on Solisian noblewomen who visit the colony

Within the hearts of men
There is love, love, love
A love for someone close to them
Yes, it's their love for their women
There indeed is love, love, love

Among them is Iker, Iker, Iker
With love, love, love in his heart
For a tall duchess named Tia, Tia, Tia
Oh what a time, time, time

Within the hearts of men
There is love, love, love
A love for someone close to them
Yes, it's their love for their women
There indeed is love, love, love

Although Iker is in love, love, love
He could not see Tia, Tia, Tia
As he could not pay five, ten, fifteen
Times her price, price, price

Within the hearts of men
There is love, love, love
A love for someone close to them
Yes, it's their love for their women
There indeed is love, love, love

Even when there are many beauties around
Dear Iker could simply not take his eyes away
From dear Tia, Tia, Tia
Whose heart was in love, love, love

Within the hearts of men
There is love, love, love
A love for someone close to them
Yes, it's their love for their women
There indeed is love, love, love

So what Iker did was to proudly show
To the duchess his worth, worth, worth
Which he did with all his best
To earn his love, love, love

Within the hearts of men
There is love, love, love
A love for someone close to them
Yes, it's their love for their women
There indeed is love, love, love

Fortunately, did he gain her love, love, love
Dear Iker, Iker, Iker has gotten lucky
Deep in their hearts they have gotten in love, love, love
Forever in memory for the two of them

Liberty! Security! Prosperity!

A Solisian poem created by Isabella Villa, a democrat

United as the Sun, Moon and Stars are
Although they each have their thrones
We believe in none on this earth
And never shall we allow again
A king or a queen above our heads!

Happy are we united as one
With freedom to choose
Who or what comes to power
So long as they uphold the greatest things
That men love!

Liberty! Security! Prosperity!
Yes do we see these things
And dream for them
Working endlessly together!

But should anyone come against us
Oh may their heads simply fall off their bodies
For the price of disturbing our peace
Is the wrath of the people!

Brown Eyes

A song written by an unknown soldier in the early history of the Solisian Union. It is still popular to this day.

With my regiment, I entered Dritano
And I saw a girl with brown eyes
Eyes brown as mine too!
Brown must my girl's eyes be
Just like I am!

My girl had given me a kiss
It had made me very hurt, very hurt
So I did the same back to her;
I won't let this be for nothing!

But I learned that the girl had no home to call
And not even a coin is in her hand or pocket
But I promised to the Sun that I wouldn't give her up
For anything at all in this world!

With my regiment, I entered Dritano
And I saw a girl with brown eyes
Eyes brown as mine too!
Brown must my girl's eyes be
Just like I am!

The Burning Song of the Beast

A song written by an anonymous Lieutenant of the 1st Solisian Guardia personal Division. It soon became the official song of the Division.

On the fertile lands of Ashia
A lonely rifleman from the plains of the Sun
Is standing upon the shore of the Ashian stream
And silently he hums along
To the song of the Burning Beast
For he too does not care about anything
Not at all around him
Not even the world could move him
Curse him, praise him
Just as anyone could do
He shall not mind

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Like him, we are fighting for the Sun
For the Moon and the glory
Of the countless stars in the sky
And no enemy shall ever come to rest

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
We are fighting for the Sun's light
The Moon's comforts
And the infinite blessings of the Stars
And no enemy shall ever come to rest

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
We are fighting for Solisia's happiness
For the sovereignty of our Union
And the end of all those who disturb us

We fought in many battles
In the North, South, East and West
And standing now, prepared to fight
Against the plague of the world
The Beast's soldiers shall not rest
For we will always burn like it
No we will never stop at all
Until no one can ever disturb the Sun's joy
And even if you dare to thin our lines,
Beware the flames of our rifles

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Like him, we are fighting for the Sun
For the Moon and the glory
Of the countless stars in the sky
And no enemy shall ever come to rest

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Like him, we are fighting for the Sun
For the Moon and the glory
Of the countless stars in the sky
And no enemy shall ever come to rest

Where we go it is always forwards
And the Beast merely laughs
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Like him, we are fighting for the Sun
For the Moon and the glory
Of the countless stars in the sky
And no enemy shall ever come to rest

(Lyrics taken from the Anthem of the Spanish Blue Division. Lyrics have been changed to suit the Solisian division.)

With my song, glory marches
On the Farewell paths
As in Ashia are the Comrades of my Division
Blue sky, to the Jungles from Solisia I will bring
The trees shall make way for me at my advancing, my Captain!
Return for me the ruined stars to the sky
The blood to the Earth!
Shine at the sun the arrows on my quiver for you,
That my exhilarated return you shall wait
Between the immortal clarion cry!
In the distance banishes the joy of home
With an air of bells peaceful flight!
The drums resound;
Solisian dawn breaks
Lightening clouds with our walking!
With smoke (experience) from combat I shall return
With songs and views
Which from there I'll bring
ADVANCING I GO!
For a shady world we'll bring the Sun;
ADVANCING I GO!
For an empty sky/Heaven we bring God!
ADVANCING I GO!
For a shady world we'll bring the Sun;
ADVANCING I GO!
For an empty Heaven we bring God!

The Anthem of the Queen of Azenyanistan

The Second Anthem of Azenyanistan

Heaven save our Queen!
Our loving and merciful Queen!
Heaven guide our Queen
And may she reign!

Grant her victory
That shall make her happy
To keep ruling over us
With peace, love and justice!

Heaven, may you love our Queen
As we adore her too!

So listen to us, Heaven
And allow her to protect us
As we vow today always
That our sacred allegiance
Shall be presented to her!

For Freedom, Life and Nobility
Never forsake us
As you hold our Queen close to your heart
Heaven save the Queen!

In the name of Azenyanistan
And in honor of Aze
Frustrate our enemies
And anoint us all
With your glory!

May she defend our laws
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen!

A Lecture Before Another Lecture

"People are cruel," said a teacher to her students, as she marched from the left side of the platform towards the right side, her arms raised in a manner of gesturing, and she continued, "Because people can be cruel." She paused, stopped walking, and smiled, with a little hint of evil in her lonely eye, the other hidden by a dark patch of leather. She put down one arm and raised the other, with a finger, her pointing finger, extended, as she said, "However, people are kind because people can be kind."

Now, she abandoned the platform, for she took three steps forward, then down on the floor. She now made her way up, following the central steps that ascended towards the rows of students seated behind their long tables at the back. Instinctively, the students at the back, who have fallen asleep; who have distracted themselves with their phones; who have been busy taking notes; who might have been looking at pornographic materials; who have been gossiping about this girl, or that boy in the hall, or that lady outside school; and who have been occupied with their thoughts and feelings, they all shook themselves from their activities or their conditions, yes, so they could pay attention to the middle aged woman marching, stepping, malevolently taking each foot forward after the other, approaching, coming nearer to them, as if to threaten them with a question or with an invitation to come to the platform. But nothing like that happened, yes, nothing really happened to them, because she, instead, chose to stop and to say, "People can be two things at the same time. That is a lesson I wish to give you to begin the lecture." She wagged her pointing finger at them all, and said, "That, I say, you must think about, when you wish, when you have the time, and discuss with me when you see me again in this room."

She finally returned to her platform, a great relief flooding the faces of the people in the back of the room, protected by their positions, as she said, "First of all, people are complicated, and complicated beings, I must say, are capable of flexible modification of themselves. That is why they can be two things, even many more, at the same time; they can change at will and they can stop changing at will. Second of all, people are unique. Unique, not in the romantic sense; not in the political sense; and certainly not in the sense of religion, but in the sense of psychology, yes, that is the study of the mind and the behavior of that mind." She chuckled as she found her seat, sat, and told them: "Third of all, people are just people. It is that simple, and it is that ridiculous. For even the first two things that I have said to you can start changing into things that you will not understand because, sometimes, yes, sometimes, you cannot force yourself, no matter how hard you wish, to understand things. Not all things, not every thing, no, because there are limits. No, they are not rules. No, they are not protocols. No, they are simply boundaries."

She gave them all one final look, which allowed her to see that they were now captured by her locutions, before she nodded to herself and told them: "Good listening. Now, please invite yourselves to your textbooks, turn to Chapter Seven, start reading, and prepare for a discussion after, say, twenty minutes. Now, now!"

Teaser 1

The young Azen general picked up one of the objects that lay all over the field. It was, upon closer inspection, once part of a Solisian Contestar main battle tank. It was armor. Now, it is burnt and damaged. It was heavy, but not too much that she could not hold it in one hand. She continued to hold it in her left hand as she looked all around her, ignoring those following after her.

The field was, besides the ruined tank that lay to her right hand side, littered with the once proudly made vehicles of both the Solisian Empire and the Coalition of Sishaya. Troop carriers lost their wheels to either the heat or the battlefield. Tanks either had their turrets or not. Those that lost their turrets were like cows and horses with their bellies torn open. The smell of the cooling metal mixed with the scent of expiring ammunition. There was still the hint of onions and garlic, a reminder that this battlefield was subject to a terrible artillery barrage.

She walked across the field, realizing that this was a battle in the open. The flanks were exploited, but both sides have suffered so much during the battle for this field. The Azen general remembered that this was done for the capture of one of the cities close to the capital of her homeland. It was once occupied, now it was free.

The general stopped when she saw corpses. She spotted them, lying in disturbing poses behind an overturned troop carrier. Not all of the bodies were taken away by the general's men, nor were they all buried on time before she came to inspect this area. But the sight of the decaying carcasses did not provoke any response from the general; she had seen bodies like those long before she came to this place.

The Azen continued to walk through the field, careful not to step on any bones or on any remains of a vehicle. And her officers followed, sometimes stumbling over unseen pieces of men and machine. Many paused, fearing that she would scold them, but when she did not, they carried on after her.

It all stopped when she came to a dirt road. There, she realized, the survivors of this battle, Solisians, must have rolled over. She could still she the tracks that the tires and the treads left on the yellow soil. She looked at the remains, focusing now on the Solisian vehicles, and counted them; she counted ten tanks, four troop carriers, and a fuel truck. When she looked down the road, she counted five tanks, five troop carriers, and two trucks lost. She didn't know if they were fuel trucks or supply trucks. Yet, to her, this must have been the regimental attack that General Tadeo promised her.

And remembering him, she shuddered. She shook her head, trying her best to get her mind off of thinking about him, about his face, about his legs, and on thinking onward, on thinking about the future. The future of the country which the Solisians liberated was in her hands. Though she was still a general, she felt confident in her ability to take care of this land...together with the returning exiles, and with the new government the rebels built since the first day of the invasion.

She gave a deep sigh and looked down the road, finally resting her eyes on the city that the regiment took. Despite the costs, they deserved the honor of returning home in ten or so days.

The All Azen Revolutionary Front

After the disaster brought upon all Azenia by the defeat of the Republic by a coalition of treacherous neighboring states on Sishai, supported by their scheming allies in the Coalition, it was thought by all people of the world that the end of the country founded by the tribes of mother Azakha, the first Azen, was made good. But with the survival of many Azens, especially those who fled their homes to seek another in the embrace of the Solisian Empire and their neighbors on Masifoya, it was not to be made permanent.

Enter the All Azen Revolutionary Front. A year after the dissolution and partition of the defeated Azen Republic, Captain General Arwenakh Aleksandra Arsora, a daughter of the tiny but highly nationalist Zakabarkha tribe, founded the AARF with subordinates and colleagues and superiors who did not abandon their oath to the dead state and who did not want to stop fighting the Coalition and the neighbors who betrayed them.

Although she was not able to save her country from the fate it suffered at Yanezha, the Captain General found favor in the halls of the Solisian Empire, especially in Her Majesty, Meriall Satarana, and her favorite general, MariƱela Rivera, a fellow Azen. Secretly, she accepted various weapons and supplies from the Empire and their allies, using them effectively against the increasingly demoralized and irritated garrisons under the command of the Coalition's occupation forces.

Today, with the Empire's might unleashed against their enemies, the AARF has surfaced, bringing armies of partisans into battle once and for all against the dreaded Coalition.

The Writer

Mara sighed and looked down at the page. It was empty. She tapped at her desk, her head low, and her pen left to lie down by the side of the page. She had failed. An entire day had passed, and she had made nothing at all. Not a paragraph. Not even a sentence. There wasn't even a word. And already it was dark outside of her window. She turned.

Not even a cloud was drifting above the building she was in. Her heart seemed to drop into her stomach.

"I can't write. Not even today."

She had been dealing with the worst issue of her career. After so much had been done, and after so much time, Mara the writer could not help but feel intense and immense frustration at how she could not put a single damned thought through to the page that she had before her.

It was supposed to be so simple.

She would simply write something. Anything. But nothing came to mind. Well, that is, nothing she thought seemed to be any good. She thought she had an idea but her hands would dare not convert that idea into actual words, words in ink upon the surface of a piece of paper. Why not? Who knows. The gods know, perhaps. Hell, perhaps it would remind me of the sayings she had learned from the Azens.

When she was sitting at a fire, spending the evening with three other women (Obviously, they were Azens, as she had been tasked with being with them for a while.) and eating cuts of goat meat freshly cooked over the same fire they were around, Mara had the opportunity to listen to them say their stories.

Huh.

Perhaps that would be something worth writing about.

Immediately, she picked up her pen, adjusted the paper, and scribbled words upon it.
