I smiled and nodded.
"You're right! I love the summer.", I said and grinned. Bhuf walked with us without a leash, as we both were used to. "Followed by autumn. I love summer because I love the warmth, swimming in streams and lakes, ice cream and other sweets... it's awesome!"
I smiled and blushed lightly.
"But summer is also Bikini Time.", I added, "I admit to not exactly being busty..." I began with a lopsided, self-ironic grin. "...but my favourite past-time on beaches, besides playing with that lad over there, is boys turning gaga because they see something they like... and some girls doing the same. The antics they get up to."
I grinned at that.

"Aha wow don't know how I guessed but I did. Well summer is fun, but it's mostly just longer work days for me so there's the draw b-back there. Well not that I-I mind it all that m-much. I like it enough. So d-does Milly. I've never been to the beach but if we have a very nice s-stream we swim in during summer. Cold and c-clear and don't have to put up with big crowds at the pool side."

I smiled.
"A nice stream, huh?", I said, "Sounds fun! To me, summer means school time. We have long autumn and winter holidays, because it snows so much and no one wants to force kids out in that weather, except to shovel snow as Younger Militia, so most of school is in Spring and Summer."

"Winter also means, that I get to meet my Dad.", I added, "He's with the Army."

"Aww, thank you, again," Elizabeth replied with a smile now growing wider, "And yeah, I am proud of it. It's somethin' that I would never throw away in my entire life."

Taking a last bite of her sandwich, she crumples up the plastic covering. Looking at Fiore's end, Elizabeth sees that she's got her hands empty as well.

"You wanna go throw these out," she said, snickering afterwards.

"Sure, I don't mind." She stood up and took the contents to the trash and put the dishes in the return bin, returning back to her classmates given they still had some time reamining they could talk. She did wonder where Mona was but oh well surely she'd get to see her pup after school if she couldn't catch up at lunch time.

That's very nice! My dad did army service as well. But it sounds l-like yours is still in a-active duty so he must have chosen that as his j-job." Ah she sighed a bit frustrated about how badly she was stuttering while trying to hold a nice conversation with a new friend. "Sorry. My stutter is just really bad today. I guess I s-still haven't gotten over being bullied ba-back there. It always get-gets worse when I'm stressed or s-s-scared. I get picked on for it a lot."

"Aww, thank you, again," Elizabeth replied with a smile now growing wider, "And yeah, I am proud of it. It's somethin' that I would never throw away in my entire life."

And then, I was silent for a while.
"Dad has chosen his Army Career. He's rather high-ranking, too.", I said, not wanting to admit, how high. "He always says, that whatever I do, I should do it completely or leave it. No things done halfway."

"Oh, it's right over there at the end. Take a look." she pointed along the row to the last table at the end of the row staffed by a couple of girls, one her hair in twin braids the other a shimmering red the other a dark and stormy black and who was quite tall but you couldn't tell given she was sitting. All of them chatting seeing as attendance had been a little dwindling at their end. Seeing Amelie they stood and greeted "oh hi!"they all said

"howdy!" The red head leapt to her feet "You are interested in the History Club, well that's us!" Hopefully she was. "I'm Apphia, the club president, this here is McKynzi." She pointed to the twin tailed blonde girl, "and she's Anya." the girl with the dark hair.

"We're the history club as I mentioned and we meet on Thursdays." she handed over a signup sheet. "If you have questions I can answer them."

"Merci" She bowed to her in thanks and went to the table at the end of the row.

For what she could see, there were some girls there waiting for new students to appear and chatting meanwhile that happened. It appeared for her that there wasn't many students like the other clubs, speaking of which; she needed to talk with Fiore and Mona about what clubs they joined or decided to made.
She was greeted by an red haired girl who stood to her feet and presented herself, Apphia, president of the History club. She pointed to twin tailed girl of blonde hair who was Mckynzi and the dark haired one, Anya. They greeted Amelie and so she greeted them.

"Hello" she said bowing to them as she returned her focus to Apphia, who handed her the signup sheet and asked about the questions she has. "Indeed, it's about the club activities; could you explain them please??"

Marie chuckled. "Oh, did I say "anything"? Sorry, he just hates the Government. He hasn't taken the next step of hating the japanese people; he loves his sushi too much for that."

Moments after, she motions herself to speak to Fiore once again.

"Is there goin' to be a list of clubs and their meeting rooms, just in case I have no time to sign up later today," she asked her.

He did not like her, something, to which I agreed. "Oh, by the way: Corine, this is Fatimah, another exchange student. Bhuf's not too fond of her, but that's a story for another day."
My introduction of my newfound friend and whatever Fartimah was supposed to be was pure politeness, nothing else. To be honest, I wished for my fellow exchange student to bugger the fuck off, for I was having a conversation with Corine.

Marie, without a word, reached into her bag, opened a package of pork jerky, and spilled it's contents onto Fatimah.
With that done she turned back to Shino with a smile. "Sorry, did some digging into her religion last night and didn't like what I saw, plus the fact that she tried to challenge me to a fight last night at dinner. Where were we?"

I can't do one creative writing assignment without it turning into some kind of love story. A little disappointed English is more ridged and essay focus but I'm joining the Writing Club on top of the Eastern Cultures Club so it's all good."

"My next class is Imperial History, then PE." Fiore gathers her things. "The animal housing is just around the side near the garden. We can meet up there later if you like."

"A colleague of my Dad has a Grey Wolf, too, a big and scary and scarred beast, old as the mountains themselves and teeth sharp enough to bite someone in two.", I said, retelling an old story, "As a kid, I was afraid of him, wary... then that colleague's wife took me by the hand and led me to him, introduced me to him, I had him sniff my hand - and he carefully licked my hand clean." I smiled. "That was the time, when I fell in love with the Grey Wolf."

Shino felt very embarrassed now if she was indeed an orphan. "What? I'm so sorry!" she hung her head in shame. Being an orphan was 10-times harder compared to putting up with a sibling, even then she couldn't imagine life without her older sister.
