Transports will leave at 4:45 PM and the welcoming ceremony is expected to begin at 5 o'clock so it's important you be on time as afterword you will enjoy your first dinner here. After dinner you may continue to tour the school at your leisure until curfew (see Student Handbook: Schedule) where you are expected to be in your dorm and your classes will officially begin next morning. We are looking forward to your attending and we thank you for choosing our school.

A glorious spring day, (that's right spring) a small town bracing itself for the arrival of more students from foreign. Some were interested others wanted nothing to do with them. The school rather the same, a school founded on old traditions and values 220 years ago. The school had seen many changes over it's long history, from being a school for the noble elite to allowing the commoner in, to splitting subjects among rich and poor to today now bringing in the first ever group of foreign students! While the odd student here or there may have been overseas over the decades seeing such a big influx was nothing short of something novel.
The student assembly hall was set up, chairs unfolded and dusted off, microphone set up and connected by those in the AV Club. Mary Alice Chessman, a senior and student body president looked over her notes to welcome her new classmates. As did her mother, Head Mistress Chessman. Other of those in the administration were looking over each student transcript to be ready to meet the needs.
When the train arrived in the town unloading it's round of passengers, off stepped Florette "Fiore" Harvenheit, a freshman now attending the school her mom, grandma and great grandma attended at her age. Well in the case of her grand it was the eve of her 15th birthday when she arrived. Taking her bags and joining the group of other students who had already arrived. Most seemed like citizens of the country maybe a few townies among them. She was eager to see who had traveled so far to attend a little old boarding school in the countryside. The Pegasus Mountains could be seen just off on the horizion stretching into what felt like infinity. Still snow capped it made for an inspiring sight she snapped a little photo of them with her phone. "So pretty!" She uttered as if she never seen mountains before but it was interesting given they were essentially in the prairie of Kuronami.
The town was nice looking, quaint with stone roads. A few automobiles drove by but everything seemed within walking distance around here. Signs pointed directions where shops and stores were and rows of houses could also be seen.
"Those attending Redford Academy please set your bags here." A guide called out. "Those wanting to go now can go to the first car those wanting to wait the rest will be departing in the next 20 minutes!" Those that went were already returning students or students who were just out in town for whatever reason. But most of the new students were hanging back to wait for their guide.
Fiore set her luggage in the pile with others. being handed a ticket to writer her name and dorm on it. Dorm 2, hopefully her new dorm mates would be good to her. If she got paired with all older girls she could be bossed around, if she got paired with everyone her age it'd be easy but may be a bit dull. If she got all locals/natives kind of the same she was just as curious about all the students from around the world who would be attending. This was exciting, what a great school year this was going to be!
