Kuronami wrote:Oh! I guess I should do the school layout. Maybe later I'll try to make a basic floor plan or something in Paint but for now:

Basement: Storage (off limits)
1st Floor: Student Commons (Cafeteria/Lunch Hall) / Kitchen
Entry/Exits
Library
School Store
Offices/Administration
Assembly Hall/Gym
2nd Floor: Classrooms
3rd Floor: Classrooms
4th Floor: Dorms
Rooftop - off limits

Grounds: Greenhouse
Storage Shed
Pet Housing
Track and Field

Pet Housing - does that mean, that pets are not permitted to stay with their owners? And how are the dorm rooms organized? Singular rooms or double rooms?
Also, how many students does the school have?
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

I think you can reason with the admins to let your pet stay with you if you really desire. The housing can keep pets occupied, fed, watered and exercised during classes. And of course on breaks during lunch you can always visit. The rooms are 3-4 students for each room. Actual number of students I'll keep it reasonably sized; haven't figured a good sum but not very large.

So we all might share room with each other?? Interesting and how about the amount of students in like I don't know, between 150 to 200 students??

It is the best and most convenient way to ensure players have something to do and someone to interact with! Senpais Older students get to look after their kohais juniors. 200 total sounds like a good number to go with.

Don't forget that since there are five of us, there has to be one of us that has to live in a separate room, lol.

yes, ideally I'll get a few more people to join to properly divide players into their dorms. Other gaps will be filled in by NPCs by me.

What you want is a very rebellious student who refuses to adapt, with a noble father who will periodicly go on massive tyrades against the school and 'barbarian laws.' Am I right?

Can it be from a non-canonical version of Celeria, to make the ages work?

Name: Her Royal Celari Highness Princess Lamina of Celeria
Age: 18 (note not on app: has special passports with various ages and names however)
Nationality: Celari
Current/Previous School: Uldartre Academy, Celeria
Health Issues: none known (unknown include multiple personalities)
Background: Lamina is the third child of King Althyus and Queen Helena of Celeria, and is unlikely to inherit the throne; however, she is likely to plot herself into a position where the succession is not established. She has a reputation for unpredictable and constantly-defiant behaviour, as well as a love of scheming and turning people against one another; in addition she is more than willing to do the unthinkable for the slightest personal or political advantage. She is friends with many of the noble families in Celeria, which is rare for a royal and it is thought that the king feels she is by far the biggest threat within is own family. Her hard-drinking ways, drug-induced fights and love of violence contrast with the scheming politician she shows off the other half of the time.
Why You Wish to Attend: Officially 'to experience more of life outside of Celeria.' (unofficially, to make useful friends amongst foreign nobles.)
Favorite Subject: Computing
RP Sample: (your essay above can also double as your RP Sample if you lack anything concrete but ideally I'd like to see something) I think you know me?

What are the laws about guns, smoking, drinking and drugs etc? Also what will happen if she does something criminal?

she's old enough to drink at her age under Kuronami law but students are only allowed to drink in the town or at dinner and are only allowed one drink maximum. She's a little young for recreational marijuana use under our laws but she'd probably be fine because she is 18 so long as it's not a problem. Other drugs are prohibited. Guns are prohibited for non-citizens. If she does something criminal could face discipline or expulsion depending on how serious it is.

It really would help her character, she'll happily submit to all the diplomatic formalities if it means getting out of the barbarian laws against freedom.

By the way to all players participating, this thought just occurred to me, given this is an old school nestled in a rural village it likely still would employ some old traditions such as actual physical discipline with a paddling. Naturally in this day and age not exactly the most PC so naturally one would have to be opted in by parents/guardians, so whom among you would have your characters opted in? Granted you would have to actually break the rules or allow your character to find herself in that situation. Complaining about a paddling, you better believe that's a paddling.

Why not add some controversy to it by making it opt-in, however having an admin error make it look as if everybody has opted in already

interesting so an error technically makes everyone subject to a paddling for stepping out of line?
