About the School
The Redford Academy is nestled in the rolling hills around the rural village of Foxtrot, in the shadow of the Pegasus Mountains that divide the domains of Elystadt and Clarines. The school was established in 1799 by Lord John Francis Redford, who wanted his three daughters, Francis, May and Beth to be able to be educated in a public manner but also in an environment free of distractions. While the school was initially founded upon the idea that nobles would send their children the eldest daughter, Lady Francis Weigh changed that upon her inheriting the school from her father and made the school open to the nearby village of Foxtrot. Other boarding schools for noble children soon cropped up in other parts of the country, the school still remained popular for many rich and poor alike. As the times have changed and decades rolled on the school saw changes too, getting electricity in 1922, increasing sport and academic subjects, desegregation of subjects for wealthy and working students and more, but one thing remains constant it's the quaint country school for young women to learn. It's not flashy, it's not in the heart of a big city, but it's sure to be ideal for those wanting a quite but cozy place. If you or a child is between the ages 15-19 and would like to attend for the coming semester please continue to inquire in our brochure.
