Lupus: In today’s headlines: Amidst reports of political stability within the Kingdom of Caerlegion, Caesar has convened a special session of the Senate to discuss the potential of Roman intervention in the troubled region.

Cincia: If the rumoured demise of King Llewellyn ap Gruffudd is to be believed it would leave Gemellus Caesar’s infant grandson, Prince Aurelius ap Llewellyn, as the soul heir to the Dragon Throne.

Lupus: According to sources in the Imperial Palace, Prince Octavius Drusus, who holds Caerlegionare lands and title, has been recalled to Nova Roma to advice on the situation and Proconsul Octavius Trajan, understood to be engaged in negotiations with the Gauls, has been instructed to prepare his forces to assist his noble sister, Queen Agrippina, in restoring stability to the troubled kingdom.

Cincia: Speaking of troubled, chaos continues to run rampant on Harren Island. Dispatches from Praefectus Vipsanius Agrippa have of course been classified but as far as we here at GMR can tell time seems to have slowed to a complete standstill on the island.

Lupus: Metaphorically speaking of course.

Lupus: In order to aid the efforts of Praefectus Agrippa in restoring order to the lawless island the Legions stationed in Caesarea have been placed on alert and reinforcements have been dispatched to the VII Classis.

Cincia: To meet the increased logistical requirements in the region Gemellus Caesar has decreed that the Province of Caesarea is to be connected to the Imperial heartlands through the annexation of new lands.

Lupus: To accommodate mighty Caesar’s command the remainder of the Free Achaean Cities, many of which are thought to date back as far as ten thousand years, have been fully incorporated into the Imperium and added to the Province of Achaea. With the remaining territory being reformed into the new Province of Pontus, under Imperial control.

Cincia: The Senate, in gratitude for the enlargement of one of the most prosperous Senatorial provinces, has ordered the construction of a grand temple to Augustus Caesar in the provincial capital of Corinthus.

The past months have seen the continuation of worrying trends in geopolitical relations within the Charter. It is with this quickening pace of change that the NCNA has opted to issue this monthly periodical, so as to better inform the Citizenry of our glorious Realm of the dangers that await them in the outside world. The war in the east continue for yet another year, with no clear winner yet in sight, while the Harrenite conflict rages on, bringing death and destruction to the island and its inhabitants.

The discovery of an entirely new star system, aided by the sudden appearance of an Object in orbit over the planet, now brings the rivalries of one planet into the infinite expanse of space. In spite of the vociferous objections of many of the Clergy and the Lunar Ecclesiarchy, the space branch of the Aerospace Force has unilaterally decided to send expeditionary forces to the new system. A sizeable settlement has already been established on the planet designated officially as Apate 5D, a world very much like our own. The Aerospace Force has announced a program to entice potential colonists, offering substantial rewards for those that opt to travel the stars - as if the promise of virgin lands and a new world were not enticing enough.

For those that would rather remain on-planet, the Dominion of Eristys remains a viable option. The local government has announced its intentions to construct lines of high-speed rail around the island-continent to better facilitate travel. For the time being, the line will only circle the exterior of the island, as the interior remains largely unexplored. With this in mind, the Dominion has laid claim to new lands in order to connect the - until now - divided domains of North and South Eristys, a goal complicated by the recent arrival of foreign colonists to the shores of our island. The Dominion government remains confident in its ability to handle any threats to Eristys, citing the effortless interception of recent missile attacks the past month as an example of its ability to defend Eristys. With the northern four-fifths of the island effectively under the Realm's control, expeditionary forces making their way to the interior can now expect to have an easier time of their activities.

The Realm remains a beacon of peace and stability in a world torn apart by chaos and decimation.

Border Agreement with Skjoldur Signed

Slavacian Border Troops Surveying the new Territory

Today, with representatives from both sides, a landmark agreement has been reached. Both nations have vowed to recognize and respect the current borders, as well as the future expansions of the borders according to the laid out expansion plan. Experts say that this agreement will usher in a new era of cooperation between the nations.
"It certainly is wonderful news" Igor Ivashov, a political expert says "With the current situation in the world, it is imperative that the borders of out nation stay secure, but it is also imperative that we make new allies"
Some say that such an agreement would go a long way to also improve the relations with the members of the Confederacy of non-aligned Nations.

Former Imperial Territories back under Slavacian control

After more long negotiations, several more former imperial provinces have agreed to join Slavacia as autonomous oblasts. This is the second such case with year, following the successful reintegration of the Free City of Rensk and surrounding areas. The Committee for territorial reintegration reports that further work is underway in several other provinces.

Confederacy States Condemn Harrenite Terrorists for the Nuclear Attack on Regini

The seven member states of the Confederacy of Non-Aligned Powers have today condemned the horrific nuclear bombing of the city of Regini, on the Isle of Gespe. The attack on Regini was an unforgivable crime; not just against Asgareth or the Confederacy, but against humanity. The Harrenites have shown that they do not care for innocent civilians. There were so many innocent children within Regini, who committed no crime against the Harrenite people, and yet have been forced to suffer the most agonising of deaths. Many more will go to bed tonight without their parents. These children will live with the trauma of Regini for the rest of their lives because of the actions of these cowards.

Regini will rebuild and her people will stand prouder than they have ever stood. The Asgarthian Empire, and the Confederacy as a whole stand with the Reginians today and forever. Their loss is our loss. Their grief is our grief. We will remember the fallen. They will not be forgotten.

The Confederacy calls upon the Entente. You have seen the destruction these Harrenite terrorists will do to our world. Denounce their ways, and allow the Confederacy to assume control of the island so that we can deal out swift and fair punishment. Allow us to stop these hateful acts once and for all, so that our planet – our beloved Origin – can go back to its peaceful ways. If the Entente fails to condemn these terrorists the Confederacy must assume that the Entente commends the use of nuclear weaponry against a civilian population and will be forced to reciprocate appropriately.

The current investigation by the Asgarthian Intelligence Service and the local police force is in its infancy, but evidence already suggests that the nuclear device was supplied by the Valarisk state. We demand that representatives of the Valarisk state explain themselves in the Confederate International Courts. Failure to do so will mean the Confederacy is forced to assume the Valarisk state ordered the nuclear attack on Regini, meaning the Confederacy will be forced to reciprocate.

Leaders of the world, we call upon you to join with us in our condemnation of these Harrenite terrorists. The Confederacy stands against tyranny and terrorism and will do all it can to oppose these monsters. If you agree with these values, it is your duty to join the Confederacy and condemn these murderers. It is time the world took a stand against terrorism.

A privately chartered plane of winemakers has gone missing shortly after taking off from Midhafen. Contact was lost with the plane as it passed near to the Port of Sharkpoint, where it suddenly veered to the South-East. The plane dropped off radar between the Auldhafen archipelago and the coast of Strei-Ar. It is not known whether the plane reached the continent.

On board the plane were 54 winemakers, experts, and viticulturists from all across Oceanion. They had been stopping briefly to refuel and spend the night in Auldhafen on their way to Nouvel Acadie on a fact-finding mission. Their families have been informed.

The cause of the accident is not known. Some have pointed to rumoured new military technologies being tested at Sharkpoint, though the Imperial authority has denied this. Two Pathfinder-class ships were sent from Sharkpoint to search for the plane and survivors, the OSS Purveyor and the OSS Ulterior.

The Empire has insisted that it is fully committed to finding the vanished Valtamerian viticulturists.

It is the honour of the editor to inform the peoples of Asgareth that their true ruler, Imperiali Luxus Ross, has finally married. Empress Myantha, ruler of Kaiserrealm has, in all her infinite wisdom and beauty, agreed to marry our Imperiali. The pair make the most splendid of couples; her radiant beauty is mirrored in his tall, strong figure.

The marriage began yesterday, at dawn. Longriver Castle, the mythical home of the Hilcian elves, played host to the finest wedding this century. Both the Imperiali and Empress stayed the night in the castle (albeit in different wings), with their respective parties. The night prior, Luxus had offered his new wife several gifts. He gave her some diamond jewellery, and the head of a goblin; killed in the Harrense Civil War. It is believed she greatly appreciated these gifts and has requested the head be framed.

The service was conducted by an Elven leader, who led the celebrations. The bride looked stunning, in a beautiful gown made from silk. Atop her head sat a gorgeous tiara; the true sign of a ruler. She glided gracefully down the aisle, flowers in hand. For his part, the Imperiali was dressed in Asgarthian military attire, with a royal purple cloak descending from his shoulders to the floor. Upon the completion of vows, the happy couple shared their first kiss.

Through the night, a reception was held at the heavily guarded castle. The happy couple and their esteemed guests danced, drank and partied into the early hours, before the pair made a hasty get away. Ale and wine flowed freely; the tab being placed on the Asgarthian throne.

The happy couple are to enjoy a three week honeymoon in an undisclosed location, before returning to Kaiserrealm so that Empress Myantha may continue her duties to her people. Our reporters out there suggest the people of that Empire are very happy with their Empress' choice of spouse. The marriage was broadcast live on their national TV, but regrettably could not be broadcast here for security reasons. Pictures from the wedding can be found on pages 3-5.

The couple will be predominantly based in Kaiserrealm, where they intend to raise a family. Some may question the legitimacy of a half-elf, half-human, but in truth these will become the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

Though Luxus will live in Kaiserrealm, do not fear, true Asgarthians. He is not abandoning us; he has already made plans to return frequently to his homeland. For if this marriage proves anything, it is that Luxus is the one true ruler of Asgareth.

A communiqué jointly issued by the Royaume’s Ministry of the Environment and the Duchy of Alendyre announced today the establishment of the Acadien Homesteading Programme (AHP), the first such formal effort by the Acadien Kingdom.

“The Duchy of Alendyre has long been acknowledged as a unique region of Nouvel Acadie,” said Yves d’Alendyre, Duke of the Duchy. “Our residents have preserved ancient agricultural practices, and in many cases live completely off-grid. In an era where corporate factory farming has been the rule, the settlers of Alendyre have proved that large-scale family farms and organic homesteading still have a place in the modern world. The result is the quality of our beef, lamb, fruits, and vegetables are unparalleled, and have resulted in well-established global markets.”

According the Ministry of the Environment, the Royal Council has agreed to annex a strip of unsettled territory in the interior of Archon, adjacent to the current outer boundaries of Alendyre, doubling the size of the existing Duchy. Applicants from Alendyre will be given priority for the for the 100-acre sized parcels for a period of one year, after which the programme will be opened to residents of Nouvel Acadie, including immigrants who arrive during the inaugural year. Grantees will be give five years to establish themselves, after which time the land will be conveyed to them. Any grantees who are unable to remain in the five-year homesteading period will need to surrender their lands back to the Ministry for reuse in the programme.

Reintegration Reaches New Heights

Slavacian Troops Parade through the streets of Diriv

Today, on the 26 September 2019, a long awaited integration treaty has been signed wit the formerly independent Republic of Slavonia. From today, the republic will become an autonomous republic within the Federation of Greater Slavacia. However, much like Rensk, it will also have its own president and government, until the region is completely integrated. This is expected to occur within the next 50 years. "It is truly a historical day for Slavacia. Slavonia has always been an integral part of our history, the rich and fertile lands of which have fed our people for generations... the people of Slavonia chose to side with Slavacia, to side with freedom and prosperity, a decision I believe other former imperial territories would follow suit. " Slavacian Minister for Foreign affairs stated at a joint press release.

Slavonia has always been close to the heart of every Slavacian and after attaining independence in 1942, has nevertheless been the most cordial to Slavacia, even supporting it in the civil war, albeit with a firm guarantee of independence following the wars conclusion. After the war and during the isolation period, Slavonia was still the principal trading partner of Slavacia, accounting for a large amount of food import, while receiving much of Slavacia's high-tech production, often at discounted prices. The Slavonia-Slavacia joint defense agreement made it impossible for the nations to ally themselves to anyone else, meaning that just like Slavacia, Slavonia was in self-declared exile. At the same time, due to a lower economic potential, the standard of living in Slavonia was significantly lower and only recently, with the overthrow of the dictatorial "National-Communism Party of Slavonia" was standard of living slowly increased, it was also at this time that Slavonia first expressed interest at joining the federation. After almost seven years, an agreement was finally reached which was signed by our prime-minister and Slavonia's president, in the nation's Palace of the People.

Experts say that although Slavonian agriculture feeds a large proportion of Slavacia's population, it is projected to lower the Slavacia's economic growth by up to 7.45% next year, as much investment must be made into the fragile and primarily agrarian economy of Slavonia. However, it opens new tourist opportunities for both Slavacian's and foreigners, as a Slavacian tourist visa is much more accessible to nations of Steri-Ar (especially Natufian Nation, with which an agreement was recently signed). The picturesque Slavonian countryside and many historic artifacts are projected to attract millions of domestic and foreign tourists each year, especially with the projected rail line from Natufian Nation.

With the integration of Slavonia, the last large former state of the empire, the integration program is said to be close to completion. After the completion of the program, the government has announced plans to still continue border expansion with teams of colonists and pioneers. This expanison will most likely occur to the North and North-East, in accordance with the Slavacian-Skjoldur Border Demarcation Agreement.

As of today the abandoned city of Gingham has been scheduled for demolition. For those who don’t know the story of gingham, it once was a prosperous and expanding city but in 1956, the Kerr Virus began infecting its inhabitants. The city was walled off and quarantined until a cure for the disease was discovered. The city turned into anarchy, bodies laid across the street, building set ablaze, and stores being robbed was a common occurrence.

The virus initially affected those with the 8q24 gene. This discovery led to the creation of the geneticist program, which eventually led to the discovery of genetic manipulation. Once the 8q24 gene was removed from the human genome the Kerr Virus stopped its spread, but those who were already affected couldn’t be saved and those within the wall slowly died off. Ever since then the city has been abandoned for about 63 years, until today. The current city will be demolished and the New city of Avalon will be built in its place. Honestly, thank god! that city has been an eyesore for so long.

She has been spotted booking a suite at the famous Hamilton palace on the same day Kurt has, and both leave the next day at different times. Could this be a result of cheating or just a mere coincidence? Who knows! Next up Astrid Salvatore was seen eating at Saint Genevieve with her mother! You may wonder “how can having dinner with your mother become today’s gossip?” Well let me tell you, she was seen stuffing herself with plate after plate and ending the night with a Cappuccino Soufflé! no wonder she isn’t a model anymore.

last night was the final round of the Charter Champions League. After a decisive game, The Heartfilian Swans lost. The game was the most unwatch sporting event in heartfilia, and the lowest-rated sporting event as well.
In other news the Saint Anthony’s horse race will be held at the Château du Lancaster on the 2nd of December with bidding starting at 11 AM. 20% of the winnings will be donated to charities helping fund more parks as well as animal conservation.

Slavacian Government to Assist in Progredimur Wreck Clean Up

Slavacian Chemical Warfare Troops during exercise

Following an agreement with Rome, the Slavacian Government has decided to head the clean-up efforts of the ill-fated A.R.S.E. Pogredimur. The clean-up will be conducted by the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense troops (VRHBZ), with assistance by the Armed Space Forces (VKS). In return, Rome has agreed to allow a Slavacian Naval facility to be built close by, which will also serve as the headquarters of the clean-up effort. The facility will include a state-of-the art small vessel shipyard, two dry-docks, a protected harbor, an airstrip as well as barracks, residential housing for officer families, a kindergarten and school. This facility will become the first Slavacian military installation overseas, a testament to Slavacian diplomatic achievements in the last several years.

The waste will be sealed in containers and shipped over to Greater Slavacia for recycling, decontamination and disposal. The operation will be financed by transferring funds from the construction of a new amphibious assault carrier, pushing back the delivery deadline another year. Some funds will also be diverted from the Project 2145 starship construction project.

Central Slavacia Re-integrated

Following a lengthy dispute with local councils, the former autonomous republic of Central Slavacia has been reintegrated into the federation. This marks a final chapter in the integration program,with the entirety of core imperial territories reunited once again under a Slavacian banner. Although purely nominal, this integration is nonetheless a necessary step in reclaiming the Slavacian cultural heritage.

Seizure of Focal Islands, Colonization of Eristys Continues Unimpeded

In a brief statement issued across international airwaves, the Noctish Second Fleet announced its capture of the strategically important Focal Islands, a chain of tiny islands located due south of the Rusinian peninsula, and due east of Acadia. "These islands, as small and isolated as they are..." summarized the commanding admiral of the Second Fleet, Arethus Sirota, "...command the approaches to the eastern seas. The Covenantians knew this, that is why they occupied them for so long. With our former allies no longer around, it falls to us to guard the seas."

Covenantian forces still present on the island reportedly submitted without a fight to our control over the island and its installations. Our forces have begun the process of turning the island chain into a veritable fortress; expanding the extant naval facilities to accommodate the larger Noctish navy, as well as upgrading the radar, sonar, and missile emplacements installed by the Covenantians. The Naval Commissariat has issued a statement making clear its intention to host long-range ballistic missiles on the islands, with ranges well capable of striking nearby landmasses, so as to further bolster the island's defenses against potential attack.

Further to the west, on the Continent-Colony of Eristys, local forces have secured control of further swathes of land in the interior of the continent, bringing all the advantages of our civilization with them. While the entirety of the island is, by all rights, Noctish territory, control over the interior remains a gradual process, hotly contested by some Eristyain tribes while wholly welcomed by others. The Confederal government in Neustri has made the ultimate unification of Eristys its top priority, calling Eristys "the single greatest investment that this Confederation has made in its history". Eristys is expected to host an ever greater proportion of Confederal military reserves in the coming years, as the pacification of the island's interior and contested southern lands remains on the agenda for both the Neustri and the Eristys governments.

Slavacian Troops Stand Guard Against Aggresors

The Armed forces of our glorious federation are proud to announce another addition to our dearly beloved motherland. Today, at exactly 15:00, elements of the 294th; 502nd and 56th Motorized Rifle regiments have marched forward to occupy areas marked by Heartfilians as their territory, securing them prior to the arrival of the invading colony ships. “This marks the first victory of the newly established Obsidian Pact against the tyrannical scourge of the confederacy, the first of the hopefully many more to follow.” the Minister of Defence announced in a press release today.

This comes after mere hours following the fracturing of the Confederacy and the secession of the three, caused by the Heartfilia crisis. As such, our government views this as a paramount step to assert military strength in a largely Confederate held continent and to ensure control over the straits, preventing the blockade of our ports, which has just recently been announced by the Confederacy. This blockade follows the passage of resolution №2, which enacted a total embargo of the Confederacy by all Pact members. More news is surely to follow. Investiture of Pontifices
The Council positions of Carnage, Diplomacy, Esotericism and Strategy have now been filled after the long-awaited and expected retirement of the preceding holders. The succession ceremony took place in the early hours of yesterday morning and the Pontifices themselves spent the day getting familiar with their role and responsibilities. A celebration parade is scheduled for Tuesday next week, where the newly inaugurated Pontifices will travel from the Government Quarter to the Eternal Temple in Dakhla City, an event which will be televised across the nation.

Ambassador Makes Full Recovery
After a deadly helicopter crash in the diplomatic quarter which killed a Representative and three crewmembers, along with two Slavacian bodyguards and the wife of Slavacian Ambassador Sergei Pushkar, it was unclear if the Ambassador himself would survive his grievous injuries. Taken to the Dakhla City State Megahospital, the Pontifex of Vitality was personally in attendance and visited him to ensure that the best possible treatment was being provided. The Ambassador spent sixteen days in a coma in intensive care but is now awake and has been medically cleared to fly back home. Today marks a historic day as the end of one of the most heated debate inside the Cenatrailian parlament; The Royalist debate! Reclamation Office Announces Pacification of Inner Satyrin Province

Months after the rapid evacuation of the West Satyrin province, the Offfice for the Reclamation of Southern Rusina (PbRSR) has declared the area suitable for re-population, following weeks of extensive testing and cleanup. Initial accounts of radioactive and electromagnetic damage in the region following the high-level nuclear exchange in southeastern Rusina have been proven "sufficiently false" by local and national authorities. West Satyrin has been deemed "mostly safe for settlement and repopulation". Nevertheless, the central government has commenced an extensive restructuring and rebuilding project for the region and its capital, Ilyurokastru, with extensive funds alone devoted to the return of individuals and families to the region.

Forces of both the East Noctish Army and the Reclamation Office have also been successful in pacification efforts in the Inner Satyrin region and the northeastern Paryadric region, extending the Noctish frontier up to the foothills of the Eastern, or "Little" Paryadric mountains. These areas had seen extensive fighting during the Great Rusinian War the previous year, and many parties withn the Noctish miliary and government have been keen on claiming many of the scattered, abandoned wrecks of military vehicles in the region left behind by the warring powers. Legator A.Vresdos, representing the Army Bureau of Research has called the Eastern Paryadres a "veritable goldmine of military information". "Refurbishment and reverse-engineering of abandoned Rusinian wrecks is sure to provide a massive boon to our own military efforts." he went on to say.

In a few short months, Noctia has gone from but one amongst a band of squabbling equals on Rusina, to the premier power of the region, if not the world. Such determination proves the superiority of our nation and cause.

Wild corvids attack park visitors in Carta

(FRZ) - If you were planning to visit the "Northeastern Carta National Park" this weekend, you may be out of luck.

The Carta government has made an announcement alongside Frezko-based travel company "Hex to Hex" this morning about the possible reopening of the Northeastern National Park after an incident in which a colony of Noctish Corvids who were confirmed to be carrying the East Rusina virus (often transmitted by mosquitoes) started attacking a group of visitors and park rangers in a bizarre episode last Saturday.

"All 19 of the infected corvids have been captured by the authorities and are now safe and going through the recovery process" - said Emmanwel Gerra, a worker at the park.
"We are now in the process of cleaning up the areas that the corvids used to frequent, and are heavily monitoring the rest of the animals who live in the area."

Although there is not a confirmed date for the reopening, the park hopes to open its doors in the next few days.

Self-driving ferry service in Archonian Frezko enters testing phase

(FRZ) - Cerenalo is the capital city of the overseas territory of Orientale, and the easternmost capital city in Archon. Known as the “western door” between the continents of Archon and Epilo, the city is about to receive even more modernizations in the near future, beginning with this futuristic project.

The citizens of Cerenalo who live in the eastern part of the city will now be able to save around twenty minutes every time they walk to the city center with this new zero-emissions, self-driving electric ferry. It takes around 90 seconds to cross the Scioccante River.

This service will be a revolutionary addition to the long list of ferry and boat taxi services currently operating in Frezko.

Frezko has led the way on electric ferries. It launched its first electric passenger and car ferry in Hertia, Areparia in 2015, and has pioneered "new technologies and green fuels," says Gavino Iwere, Director of Registro Fresgo Navale, advisers for the maritime industry and organizers of Frezko's Green Shipping Program.
