"Anyway he's talking about the hurricane that just hit some of the islands. I wouldn't worry about it much, if you're here you probably won't need to leave for a little while, right? So just relax the ports will be open by the time "

“Oh, ok” Fry says relieved about it. They sip on their drinks as they patiently wait for their food, settling down from the startle they got from that man.

Aurelia chuckled at Shino's comment.
"I wouldn't be so sure.", she said, "Mom was a great cook, no question asked, but she was terrible at teaching. And I am not sure, if I inherited any of her natural talent at the stove..." She took another riceball and while preparing it, she added: "I would love to cook for all of you, though... but before we do that, it's me cooking for Marcella alone!"
She suddenly grinned.
"Technically, cooking is the practice or skill of preparing food by combining, mixing, and heating ingredients.", she said, grinning at Marcella and joking: "Would you mind our romantic candlelight dinner with cooking from me being buttered toast?"

"My my you are right, cooking does take skill and practice and it's seldom just inherited. But the love that comes from it in a dish, the kind when you make it for a special someone is what really makes it special." Shino replied sipping down some tea.

"It's no trouble, I can take it for the team!" Marcella joked "But in all seriousness, Aurelia, however you and I want to have a dinner date over just something as simple as bread with a little butter on it, is fine by me. It will be just as good because it's from you."

"If there's one thing I know I prepared my daughter well enough in, it's how to be in love." Shino admitted

"Mama, you sure did."

“Oh, ok” Fry says relieved about it. They sip on their drinks as they patiently wait for their food, settling down from the startle they got from that man.

"Mhm, let's go, I know where she is." she took Tess by the hand and they walked along. Jeeps of troops and police often passed them by, people on their way to remote parts of the island in desperate need of help or others to help those around here. Arrving a small dugout shelter where many were gathered and huddled after waiting out the worst of it. "Granny!"

"Satou! I'm glad you're safe but I knew you would be. And glad to see you Tess you and my girl riding out together, you really are meant for her. I told Satou she need not worry and that you'd stick by her."

Satou told her grandmother what the damage was and it was no trouble. "Don't worry about it my dear, you and Tess should head to Hoshino, I'll get Saikawa to patch it."

"Okay granny."

Once outside of the hut and passing through the street,Tess saw that the aftermath has begun with many vehicles of either the military or police passing by to go to different points of the island,citzens running for help someone or leaving the village. The sight was like one of an war movie.

"I hope that the people in Animalpolis is alright" Tess whispered to herself,she knew that it would be obvious that the worst happened there and they always suffered the punch.
Once they found the shelter in where her girlfriend grandmother was and after pass an entire group of people,they found her. It was an beautiful sight to see them together after that.

Her grandmother praised that the couple was together and that they survived together the storm. And more than that they did on it.

"Well we survived the storm together and let's just say that it made our bond more stronger" she said grininng to both of them. Once said that Satou explained the damage of the house and Sadoko said that it wasn't an problem.

"If you are sure about it,we better leave now. I hope that you enjoy your month and what's left of the festival" she said to her in Auroran.

"Sweetie we better leave now if we want to catch the ferry"

Aurelia chuckled at Shino's comment.

But Tess and Satou were in good spirits having gone through what they went through together. Not letting go of one another's hand. Tess the girl from far away Mervay, Satou the girl form the island. Two different girls united by a love of one another. More islands to see, more to experience.

"The Matron did most of the saving, I cannot garuntee that Kaori would've trusted me had I gone on my own." he would admit humbly. "I merely volunteered just to make sure she came back safe. I'm just a traveler, so I would like to help in any way I can. Speaking of..." he looked up. "Do you guys need any refreshments? Is there anyone else who needs help?"

"And I'm so greatful for your help. I'm sure Matron is as well she's a good woman."

Madames." with the professionalism of a soldier long ago, he exited down the hallway before gradually becoming more casual in stride, and a smile growing across his face. Exhaling relief, he felt alive, and knowing that being around food has a natural way of recovering heat. He needed to fuel up before the concert tonight, after all!

Aceus would muse about having a more...intimate concert for Annabell's foster family and herself before leaving before politely knocking on the open door of the kitchen. "Excuse me?" he asked politely. "Would you guys like some help?"

Ugh, I don't know if my blood reserves will be able to last long enough! Humor panicked as he was pushed against the wall, remaining silent towards Giuseppe & trying to suppress his usual counterattacking spell — an explosion of blood from his back & front that would burst outwards & suddenly turn into spears of blood that would pierce his opponent. In this case, he was mostly successful, with only a small amount of residual, more inert blood being left on the wall, which balled up into a floating orb above his head when the other man threw him onto the floor, with more blood briefly staining the ground as well before being sucked up into the orb. Before responding to Giuseppe's question, the blood orb first began to flow into Humor's mouth in the span of a few seconds.

"Bloody... stop manhandling me!" he ordered after the orb was all drunken, "You're making me lose blood, & you wouldn't want me starving!" He paused, his expression & tone shifting to more bland ones, as though he felt more in control of his situation. "B-but I didn't see much. I only came to that part of the city because I smelled a bit of blood, & I only stayed long enough to drain one guy of like thirty percent. I did try to suck blood from a corpse in the sea, but it's probably an unidentifiable husk right now." In his desperation for sustenance, Humor had ended up taking more than just blood & had deprived the corpse of much of its solid substance as well, although he was too hungry to have stopped himself.

"Ah yeah it's a good place to be during a storm like this. I can only imagine just how much it did cost, it's no wonder the rates are tailored to high end clients and visitors. But the good thing is most of those people are travelers who jump ship if a storm is on the way so it lets more regular folks like us in."

He remembered Giuseppe was still locked up and the authorities had probably locked down his yacht. 'My yacht!' "Hijo de puta! I just remembered I came in my yacht. Ah mierda! I doubt this storm is storm is doing me any favors either, so much for a relaxing return home."

"Bloody... stop manhandling me!" he ordered after the orb was all drunken, "You're making me lose blood, & you wouldn't want me starving!" He paused, his expression & tone shifting to more bland ones, as though he felt more in control of his situation. "B-but I didn't see much. I only came to that part of the city because I smelled a bit of blood, & I only stayed long enough to drain one guy of like thirty percent. I did try to suck blood from a corpse in the sea, but it's probably an unidentifiable husk right now." In his desperation for sustenance, Humor had ended up taking more than just blood & had deprived the corpse of much of its solid substance as well, although he was too hungry to have stopped himself.

"I don't care if you starve you fucking demonic cannibal! I just want out of here!" Giuseppe wound up his right arm and struck the man in the face. He was a hot-tempered man, and being in a cell definitely amped up his anger a bit. This would probably get him into more trouble.

(it'd be funny if the storm blew the jailhouse down.)

"Indeed we are, I'd say.", she said and, for a moment, what she had come here for, how her Grandmother had ordered her to break up with Marcella, to end it... but she would not let that happen. She would prevail and their love would conquer all. "And that love will stand all challenges."
She looked firm, almost fierce at that.

"Well what's a festival without a little storm right, Satou? Go on dear you two have the best time. I'll be waiting for you to get back"

The Epilogue
"Well here we go,next stop Hoshino". Tess thought to herself as Satou took her by the hand and they went to the ferry,on it's way Tess smiled as she saw Satou going with her and enjoying that time that they will spend together, "I'm glad that I can share it with her".

When they entered to the ferry the feelings of the crowd around them were of despair,worry and defeat. It's not to blame them after all everyone would be like that after an storm far away of your home and your beloved ones being there suffering it. But this two girls of different backgrounds,lifestyles,culture,etc and that the strong love,passion and their curiosity of learn more of each other life in their new homes and so their hobbies was what united them to be lovers. Those two girls were happy,with an shining hope and good spirits,it was obvious considering what they went to be together and now not letting go of one another's hand.

"Hey... Thanks for being with me through the storm. I'm glad that I called you that night for come to my room and from there survive the storm. I'm glad of you always helping me to calm down like when the hurricane was passing over us and you gave me that passionate kiss or when you tried to make me calm during our date in the hot springs. Even through I was the one who calmed you there in the end" she says remembering those moments,in just one week they fell madly in love and it showed that was an true and pure one.

"Satou thank you for being my girlfriend,thank you for appearing in my life,for support me,help me,comfort me and the one that I want to spend my life with. ありがとっあとう" she said kissing her in an very long kiss.

"I'll promise you that when you travel to Mervay,I will make that your best travel of your life" she said with an smile on her face. Now Tess was enjoying with her girlfriend the beauty of her home and soon Satou will be the one enjoying the beauty of her girlfriend home. But for now they will enjoy their adventure on the rest of AHSCA.

A few guards entered the cell "All right break it up, now!" They aggressively pulled Gisuppe and Humor apart, he was no doubt pretty strong so it wasn't easy but they got him and cuffed him. "Sit down!" She yelled and the two pulled Humor away to another cell. With the hurricane right on top of them it wasn't the greatest time for anyone the roof being peeled away before outright just either falling in on some parts letting in rain like a large bucket pouring down.

"Maybe I should jump ship as well." Jose chuckled, but it was a half serious thought, but he sucked his teeth. After being punched, an explosion of blood had erupted from Humor's face, likely coating Giuseppe's hand in a thick, dripping layer. "Akh! Wait!" he would call out as all of the spilled blood flew into his mouth, where he then drank it, "You don't know what you're doing!" Immediately after, though, the battle was broken up by the guards, Humor having partially reentered a torpor-like state to conserve his magical energy & blood & was thus hanging from the guards as they moved him to his new cell. Once there, he crawled over to a wall & curled up to sleep, ignoring the rain that began to pour in in favor of resting.

[Aurora Confederacy]

"That's correct. It was the family that ruled this island for generations but the tides have since changed..." she said a bit sad "Anyway welcome to Hoshino Island!"

"Here we go, found our last bottle of dairy milk for your little friend." She handed the bottle of milk "Last one so it's on us."

Karen, taking the dairy milk replied with a smile, "thanks" she said before pouring the contents onto the small saucer, Marvin looked at the saucer before Jason gave it a gentle tap. Marvin reacted instantly and began to lap the milk up, Karen gently topping the milk up as Marvin licked the contents. if there's one thing that cat liked it was cold milk having never been fully weened off it.

"tides have changed, interesting, Tomorrow after this storm has blown itself out I think we'll go up and have a look at the statue and monuments, seems there is a lot of history in these islands and my wife here has an interest in history..." replied Jason. "...and it will also give Marvin a work out too"

Karen also turned to the local woman, "back home we have a lot of nordic history, ancient nordic villages, standing stones and such, with the gateway to Barentshavn guarded by a viking on horseback on one side and a statue of a Mother holding a child on the other looking out to sea on the other side" she said, stroking Marvin as he lapped up the milk, "further north in Valeriia Port Aurora there is the monument to the ancestors, thats a knight with wings holding a sword which points to the west, at the winter solstice the sword points directly at the sunset at the point that the sun dips below the horizon"

She nodded "Oooh sounds really fascinating! I imagine you have a pretty rich cultural history you could go on about. Considering you have an interest in history; you study it, do you teach it? Our history as a whole nation is pretty young but the islands individually have very long histories. Part of this festival is just that along with the religious and seasonal and that."

Suddenly a young man approached the bar "Oh Shinya!" She hugged and kissed him "Oh this is my husband."

"Oh evening." He nodded "Bit of bad news that storm hasn't changed course so we're waiting things out here tonight, tomorrow we'll get to work surveying and getting help deployed."

"Oh I'm just glad you're here to wait it with me"

"He's anxious to meet you too. Next time for sure." Marcella finished up her meal and set her plate aside.

"Well Aurelia," Shino said "You aren't an expert cook but you are far from a bad one. Your little contributions to our feast have been wonderful."

Without you, Ma'am, and Miss Yoshi, it wouldn't have been the feast it was... in all senses of the word.", Aurelia tried to downplay her (admittedly) little contribution. That could be changed, though... "If I manage to catch something while I am here, by fishing, would you mind me making Grill Fish?"

"I'd sure like to try some!" Shino agreed.

"And of course, Milady" Yoshi added "If you need assistance grilling one up, feel free to ask me. In the meantime please leave everything, I'll tidy up in the morning."

"Thank you, Yoshi" Marcella thanked her and took Aurelia by the hand to gently glide her along to their chambers for the night.

Aceus made sure to swiftly deliver bowls of rice and tea, being certain to converse or listen to whoever would be willing to speak. He seemed to be in a better mood, now that he saved at least one person.

As Yoshi said, that she would take care of the dishes tomorrow, Aurelia was close to tell her, that she should please wake her up before she did so that she could help, but as Marcella gently guided her away...

Smiling as Marcella led her away, Aurelia hoped, that the night would be calm and quiet, at least between the two of them, talking, maybe laughing together, snuggling. No need for activities past the PG-13-Rating of this site, if one asked her.

The rest of the evening for Aurelia and Marcella was a bit of talking, more catching up, sharing an occasional kiss or two. Knowing Aurelia was here to stay a while and was ready to ride out the storm with her made her feel better. Laying on the bed together while Marcella gently brushed Aurelia's beautiful golden hair "I just knew mama would love you! And Gisella is plenty happy to see you too."

Aldhiyb had rolled himself up in a corner of the room, already resting, but not quite yet sleeping.

"Sadly for another week and a half, just on vacation." Aceus would shrug. "Needed to get away, clear my head, and find some inspiration. Right now, I'm just happy to help out whoever and whenever I can." Aceus would explain, before finding his guitar and tuning it. "I even thought up of one or two lil' ditties, if you'd be interested. Nothing better for a night like this than a good song...an' it isn't as if my would be audience has a choice in the manner." he chuckled "But if it'd be better that I help, I'll help. There's a lot of ways to change the world, not just through music."
