She took her bags and grinned at Marcella. "Lead the way, I'll follow you... once I locked her, that is."

She giggled "Boy new meaning to rock the boat huh? Let's go we'll head back." she kissed her and left for Aurelia to follow. Leaving the little boat the town was still lively it was almost hard to belive something like a big storm was barrling down on them but they'd get through it. It seemed Marcella's officers beat her to the punch on the need for briefing once she was back she was greeted by her interior officer, meteorology officer, defense officer and foreign officer. Now Marcella was all business able to gather her thoughts and get her wild emotions of the afternoon under control. She was given a few looks at tracks, probable damage costs, who would stepped in for aide "Kyrenaia, Kuronami and Mervay are sending relief aide. The Mokastana Military Base is ready to deploy too for storm relief. Lamoni is pledging financial aide and has their navy on standby if we needed it."

"Very good thank you Noir. And you've alerted all embassies?"

"Yes Milady, though the storm isn't in the immediate forecast track we're still putting ambassadors into alert and standby mode."

"Very good. Alex, how bad are we looking at here?"

"Well no hurricane is very ideal but this is as ideal as we'll get for this time of year with so many people here. It's moving very fast and it's a low end storm. It's not gonna be pleasant for a few hours but it will be done with quickly. In the meantime any tourists who are here have been notified and many are heading evacuation."

"All right. Our Agency and Kuronami's agency is showing a direct trek up to us so issue the full emergencies for Hoshino, Aurora and Animalpolis and watches for Stillestando and Corona. with luck it will stay the course and not go too crazy,"

Under fallen trees and derbies, in empty buildings that were standing or crumbling. They did manage to find a few others who were willing to help as well. It wasn't long before the storm's eye was overhead brining the momentary calm they needed to really think. It dawned on her "The foolish girl, I know one more spot she often goes too. Come with me, we don't have much time." She grabbed rope and a lantern light and headed for the cove. "Caves they're perfectly safe during most times but not during a storm like this. We don't have much time." Wading into now wast high water. "Here tie this to yourself and me. I don't know about you but I am a strong swimmer and I don't want us separated here."

Aceus would grumble "You weren't kidding about her being "not all there in the head", how the bloody 'ell did she manage to sneak in here...?!" he would gradually wade into the water. "I'm a good enough swimmer, I'll be sincerly impressed if she's somehow gave us the slip through Valar-knows-what's in those caves..." Aceus would exhale, inhale, and gradually dive into the water, looking about in the dim water beneath.

P.S. As the post office doesn't approve of ripped letters being mailed, I have taken the liberty of removing the titulature from the letter. Even though this is technically a template for an "official memo", you could kill a rainforest with all the ephitets that the nobles insist that I carry around. Between the two of us (or three, if Marcella is reading this as well), this is a casual/business casual occasion, and is by no means an "official" meeting between our govts. It's mostly to appease any press happening to lurk in the shrubbery nearby. Hope to hear from you soon!

Aurelia opened the letter, commenting to Gisella: "Thank you. And hopefully not... I have enough of those back home, from all corners of Kyrenaia. Some of their letters are sweet, especially from youngsters, but some are downright creepy..." She shuddered, finally having opened the letter. "Well, and then there are the letter bombs. Luckily, the Tabardariyya checks every piece of letter going in and out of the Azure Hall."
She unfolded the paper, looking at the letter and reading it.
She immediately noticed two mistakes: Neither was she Ilkhana of Utica nor was Fara Ilkhana of Megido. They would, one day, maybe, hold these titles, but for now, they were 'simple' Princesses of their respective Ilkhanates.
But other then that, she had to giggle at the P.S..
"It's a dinner invitation for me, as well as you, if you want, Marcella.", Aurelia replied with a smile, showing her the letter. "From Fara's sort-of boyfriend Aceus, the King of Danceria, who is apparently around incognito." She let a beat pass. "What do you think?"

"Well my happy congrats to you two as well! Can't go wrong with some good fish from here in Hoshino. Well all island fish is pretty good but we got some fine catches here, many by me. Enjoy your stay here folks. Head on into town and enjoy." He resumed his work.

They plan to sleep in a hotel before going to a local shrine as not that Jason or Karen are particularly religious just Karen has an interest in history and historical monuments.

On the ferry that takes them across, Marvin is allowed to roam free however he seems quite content to rest on the floor, his front paws on Jason's knees, meowing from time to time until he gets a fussing off Jason. Karen however is taking photo after photo

Satou awoke seeing Tess gone but seeing the note. "Oh hehe looks like this time she got the early morning slip on me" she giggled pushing her hair out of her eyes. What wonderful night it had been, Tess was great. They made the next major step as a couple. Getting up and peering out the window no signs of immediate improvement "Hope it lets up soon."

Ren making her rounds when Tess approached her "Oh good morning, miss what can I do for you this morning?"

Aceus would grumble "You weren't kidding about her being "not all there in the head", how the bloody 'ell did she manage to sneak in here...?!" he would gradually wade into the water. "I'm a good enough swimmer, I'll be sincerly impressed if she's somehow gave us the slip through Valar-knows-what's in those caves..." Aceus would exhale, inhale, and gradually dive into the water, looking about in the dim water beneath.

"Well if she's in here and a good feeling she is, she'll come as long as she sees me." Making way deeper into the little cave they did find her, curled up on a rock, shivering and crying. "There you are. Kaori!"

Kaori looked up wide eyed and let out a little mew sound. "Your poor mama is worried about you. Come on come with me." Her eyes fell onto Aceus and she resited

"Don't worry about him, he's helping me. It will be okay just come along with me." She resisted a bit until the Priestess got the idea to sing for her. A favorite song to calm her a bit. "Up in the skies, shining so bright. One little sprite comes down."

Slowly but surely young Kaori inched her way off the slippery rocks sliding into the arms of her Priestess. "There we go. Come on we'll get you back." But unfortunately the time it took the cave had flooded more. "We're in for a bit more of a swim but we can make it. Not going to be easy." She tied up Kaori closer to herself to keep from getting separated. "All right here goes nothing! Kaori hold tight now don't let go"

Over the choppy seas the little ferry sailed along everyone taking a nice look to the lovely ocean and skies even if trouble was afoot which they'd all find out about when they found an inn to stay in. But arriving safe and sound no troubles everyone could disembark.

The heart of Port Aya had a statue dedicated to it's two former tribal leaders, the last of the Hoshino Family line whoe's namesake was shared for the island. A plaque read:

These statues of Aya and Marco Hoshino were also the original signers of AHSCA's independence declaration and lived to see the end of the great war that unified the islands. Their memory lives on through their only son to carry along the next generation of people in a nation at peace.

A young woman laid flowers at the base of the statues and polished off the plaque.
