AHSCA wrote:"Welcome" A couple of police officers welcomed them checking their bags and papers out. "If we might inspect it, we'd appreciate it." (let me know if this bit goes a bit far) One officer inspected the weapon checking over things and seeing it was in fine working condition and safe. "Please be cautious with your weapon while here. If for any reason you find your self stopped by police always inform them you are carrying." She stamped his documents and papers "Welcome to the islands."

“If it’s alright, I’m going to slowly reach for it.” he said with both his hands up, his cane in his right hand and his left slowly reaching for the gun behind him. Grabbing the grip he flipped the gun to hold it at the barrel. Slowly he presented the gun, grip first to the officers. It was a .44 Colt Anaconda with a wooden grip, unloaded of course.

“Thank you very much. The state says it’s customary for nobles to carry when they leave but it’s more habitual than anything at this point.” Jose commented with a heavy Spanish accent.

Smoking a cigarette off to the side, Giuseppe waited for the two to be done. However, a question popped up in his head so he went to the officers, “Escuse me officers, I’m hoping to start business here, you know, open up our trade routes and the like. But I’ve heard this nation, no offense to you, is rather underdeveloped. And nations like that tend to have a certain criminal element. I just want to know if I do start business here, would it be safe?” Blowing smoke away from them. “Back home, the italian districts have a bad reputation for cosa mafiosi.” he smiled.

The officers took no offense, they understood well AHSCA's reputation and some took it as a badge of pride at that. "Ah crime is only a modest problem we can assure you. It's why we're all pulling extra duty during the festivities. We do our best as law officers to enforce things but there are always shady folks that slither around. Commonly the ports or brothels. It's simply a matter of not making yourself a target. You want to do business legit, stick with the merchants in the villages."

Holy Marsh wrote:Tobias spent some time on the streets, taking part in the back and forth with the vendors on the street. He had a ton of money to spend, a good deal of Marshians in what counted for pockets in his clothes. A lot of trinkets, a bit of kitsche always made a trip worthwhile. Some of the locals seemed a bit more distant than he had thought they'd be based on what Marshites were told, but it wouldn't be the first time other creatures let him down. Nonetheless, it was all working out well enough. Just passing the time, as they say. Eventually though he felt the need to eat, to toss something delicious in his maw. He looked around a bit until he found what looked like a nice little place. There was even a cute little girl working the tables, reminding Tobias of the twelve hours a day schedule in his school days. The tall, lithe, powerful Tigris eventually leaned down towards the cute server girl. "Hey there, you prrretty little thing! Are there any spots available? I could really do with some of the famous fish that I keep on hearing about.

The little server girl, Kohaku whom had been doubling as a waitress on such a busy day welcomed the Tigris Tobias to the establishment. Her eyes went wide a moment seeing the feral type before her, she hadn't seen such in person, she knew they lived out in the very remote villages deep on Animalpolis and kept to themselves mostly. She then shook her and remembered she and her ma had a job to do. Her ma who was also waiting the tables with the guests from Cartoonia and Kuronami at this moment. "Oh w-welcome. Uum well we're kind of full but we do have at least one chair left if you don't mind sharing a table with some others? If you want to wait it's about 25-30 minutes. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, it's very busy today with the festival."

Holy Marsh wrote:Speaking of clothes, he felt the need to get something a bit better suited for this land and the climate. Well, he felt well suited. Tigris by nature wore clothing suited for the warmth of the jungles of Pushania and he felt comfortable here, but the beautiful designs inherent in the fashion here were appealing. Before The Shift he was a suit and tie wearing Marshite man. Post-Shift he wasn't even human, while the feminization of the male gender made it so that he was for all intents and purposes female to those who didn't care for much beyond aesthetics. He embraced both things; no reason not to. So he looked out for something nice. He was enticed into one specific store by the cute sign held by a cute little girl. No reason to not poke in on her mother's shop. And so he did, just as Aurelia was finishing with her Yukata. Looked good on her! Tobias purred, and looked around. "Seems this is the place..."

"Welcome" Kumiko welcomed Tobias "Oh, all the way from Animalpolis?" She presumed they did sometimes get guests from the other islands but not as often and even then it was kind of hard to tell except for two of the five islands. Still they did not discriminate in their shop, they wanted business. "Anything you'd like me to show you? You may also browse for a bit if you like?"

Aww, she was a cutie. Also slightly scared of him. Gosh, why were people so pensive around him? Tigris were definitely more feral, he knew that. They had sharp claws they could extend from their hands, which were more accurately termed paws, with the lower leg stucture so different from a human it made sense for them to be indentifiably non-human. Big, sharp teeth too- enough to rip a man's jugular out without a thought or effort. The entire body was covered with fur, they purred audibly, growled and roared- but for all that, they were as intelligent and talkative as any other. The little girl maybe just needed to talk to some Tigris some more. Couldn't be helped today, though. "Oh, if they'd have me I'd love to share a table. My stomach is growlin'," he said with a laugh, "thank you. I'll be right over there if they let me," he said before starting to bound over to the table, a huge and hungry smile on his face. "Hey there! This seat taken?" He asked pleasantly, a cute nekomini hopefully not tossing him because of his 'feral' look.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tobias had to give it some thought. Did he need help? Probably. Even at his best, Tobias wasn't one to pick out a nice set of clothes. One of the fun things about being Tigris is since the Theocracy hadn't yet decided on proper attire for them, he got to wear what amounted to rags. He wasn't being a flirt though he could see why people may think that; it was just more freeing. And that was all he knew he wanted, but it would be polite enough to dress the part while here. "Animalopis? No, though I'd like to check that out. I'm from the Theocratic Empire, here for the festival! And yeah actually, I could use some help. Here for a bit- want something that isn't too restrictive, local, all that fun stuff. Money isn't an issue- whatcha recommend?" He asked, giving the- store owner? Store worker?- a smile, nodding politely at the customer as she left. She had a certain air about her. Tobias could even smell it- love, yep. Lucky lucky!

Sitting at this table were something of minor celebrities, maybe not for the best reasons. Michiko Kotobuki and her daughter, Yuzu. It sometimes drew them ominous stares or harassment at times. Yuzu was unfortunate enough to be patient zero in a horrific outbreak of jungle fever at the worst possible time. Enjoying the festival ready to give all their thanks for making it through that ordeal they came to Aurora to enjoy the sights and sounds their first trip since returning home. Michiko noticed Tobias and without even flinching she offered him a seat when he asked. "Ah hello there, please take a seat. We don't mind sharing at all."

"Good day!" Yuzu bid him.

The waitress brought their orders, similar to the guests before, two bowls of rice porridge, a staple dish of the islands. As they allowed it to cool, Michiko struck up some more conversation. "So came all the way down for our festival? Well by your accent I had to assume you're foreign."

"Ah a Marshite!" Kumiko was excited given the long history their nations had though Marsh was still one of the places she and her daughter had yet to visit on business. "Well, welcome to the Islands! Well I can recommend plenty but I think I should know, if you're really male or female? I hate to recommend something you might not like. But in the meantime we have plenty to show off. Yukatas are a staple of festival goers if you feel like something a little traditional. Swimsuits for regular beach goers. If you're trail blazer yourself, sailing equipment. Otherwise everything you need to navigate the islands. Maps, guides, ferry times. Other clothing here too."

Giuseppe was taking a drag as the officer mentioned brothels, making him almost swallow his cig. “Brothels? Are they legal in this country?”

“Anyways!” Jose interrupted before his friend could speak anymore “Business is in the villages as you said? Could you point us in the right direction into town and we’ll be out of your hair as quick as possible.” putting his gun away

“Preferably by taxi or car service. I stay in the sun any longer I’ll turn into a fucking tizzone.” Giuseppe interjected as he flicked his cigarette away

"Yes, sir" She responded very simply actually a little surprised he was surprised. "As for that, no cars or taxis, at least not traditional sense. Motor vehicles are very tightly restricted on the islands. That said, just for the festivities we've set aside some military jeeps to shuttle tourists around if they need. Just proceed over to that area." She pointed a small gathering area that few were taking advantage of. "They can take care of you." She then looked around a bit and leaned in "Between you and me, you could likely buy services just for a day. One driver is my brother. He's in a bit of straights right now money wise. You slip him a little incentives he'll make it worth your while."

Kuronami wrote:"Of course. Please enjoy our many wonderful festivities." she bowed for her guests. Annabell paid her share of her tab all in all 10 Island Credits not bad. "Pardon me, ma'am do you know how the weather will be?"

"Well I've heard these couple of days should be all right. Still always be ready, young miss the weather here does change rapidly."

Aurora Village, Aurora, AHSCA, Monday, August 27, 2018, 2:45 PM

Our group paid thier share of the bill and they start walking out through the village. There were shops all around and they don’t know where to go first.

“So Annabell” Tamaki asked. “Is there anywhere that you recommend us go into first?”

“These are driving services i presume?” questioning the officer as another cigarette was lit “More mia, there are few things that are worth my while. Maybe you can be one of-” a smack from Jose broke the conversation.

“We’ll take it madam. If you’d show us to your brother, we’ll give him all the incentive he needs.” Jose insisted and started walking with his associate to the shuttle area.

Giuseppe leaned in towarfs Jose to walk and talk, speaking in their respective languages “so what do you think Lord Altonuevo?” he asked, pronouncing his title sarcastically “What’s the plan? Settle some legal contact then head to ‘VIP’ section later?”

“Maybe, but I don’t like this cop lady. We ask for a ride and her brother happens to give them? I don’t know but to me it’s a little fishy here, and it’s not because of the coast. We tread carefully around her, you hear me?”

They both look at her and turn their sights back around “I know what you mean. What kind of place has no method of transportation but brothels are legal. It makes no sense, what kind of backwards country am I stepping on? Does the sun come out at night as well? But, where there’s brothels, there’s scum and where there’s scum, there’s money to be made.”

“Slowly, let’s leave the brothel for later, when no one can see our faces while we’re walking in. We’ll eat some lunch, take in the local scenery, explore other options and enjoy ourselves.”

“I guess, at least they have festivals going on.”

“Eh...” Jose shrugged “I’m not here for paganisms.”

”No not that, the festival is a good cover. When you’re doing something loud, go somewhere louder so no one will notice you. The festivals are our ‘somewhere louder’. No one will look twice at us. We’re just normal tourists.”

Two Days Ago Before the Festival Begins,Embassy Isle
An large plane (A340-600) was landing in the airport of the isle. The plane was used exclusive by the Dileva's,one of the most important families in Mervay because of their conglomerate of business and their history in politcs.

The plane was taking inside to the CEO of the group,Edward Dileva and his daughter,Tess. Both of them were very interested in AHSCA history because of their culture and the desire of the people to not have big footsteps in the modernization of the nation, however that wasn't their only motive for visit. Edward's wife,Jessica was the Ambassador of the Kingdom in the UIS and the last time that they saw each other was the day she leaved to AHSCA,so it was obvious for them to visit her and enjoy the festival in family.

Once the plane landed in the airfield Edward and Tess begun to take their package with the out of the plane, however before Mr.Dileva leaved he talked with the pilot about him returning in five weeks in the exact same location and that once he is in the air contact the family cruiser for take them to Hoshino and the rest of the islands.

"Dad c'mon, mom is waiting us!!!" yelled his daughter outside the plane, which made Edward remember that his wife is waiting them.

Once out of the plane with his package and now in front of Tess he apologized about taking too long in the plane. After that they waited until the woman that was the reason of the travel came to pick them. It just was only five minutes of wait until an black vehicle with the flags of Mervay appeared in front of them and an woman leaved the vehicle.

Image

"MOM,I missed you!!!" Yelled Tess as she run and cuddle her mother, tears of happniess were falling from both of the ladies happy to see each other in person back.

"I missed you too Tess,I'm so happy that we can enjoy the festival together" Says Jessica as she leaves the hug.

"Now where is my darling" she said referring to her husband, which appeared behind her and told her.

"I'm here honey" said Edward as his wife was surprised of his appear behind her and slightly blushing. But what made her go to an deep blush was that his husband stollen an kiss on the lips from her.

"Did,I surprised you???" he said with an teasing smirk in his face that made his wife blush an little more until she calmed herself and decided to return the coin.

Jessica leaned to Edward's face and she returned the kiss, which surprised her husband and at the same time he now went to an deep blush.

"Now did,I surprised you darling??" she giggled at which made Edward blush more.

"Y-y-yeah looks like you returned me the favor,I enjoyed it but what about an last-" he was about to say an last kiss of them before Tess interrupted both of them.

"I ended of put all the package in the vehicle, could we go now to the yacht so we can be in Aurora by the first day of the festival???" she said entering to the vehicle.

"Sorry Tess we were so happy to see each other again that we forgot the travel" says Edward to his daughter and then he faced Jessica.

"Once in Aurora we could have an date once we enjoyed some family time together" he said as Jessica gladly nodded in agree to the idea.

Once they were inside the vehicle they begun to talk about what to do in Aurora and the rest of the islands, their schedule for trave was:
-1st week: Aurora
-2th week: Hoshino
-3th week: Animalpolis
-4th week: Corona
-5th week: Stillstando
With all of that set and with their cruiser the "Famiglia" taking them to all the islands,it looked like they got everything ready. However the stay was something that needed to be saw, because the options of stay in the temple of the respective island,an local that might accept take them or the option of rest in the yacht. But since the ship will return here once it leave us the last idea was out of question.

Present Time,Aurora Village,12:00-13:00 PM
After two days of travel from the northeast of AHSCA,the yacht was finally here in Aurora. The family was decided to give an shot to the idea of an local reciving them in their house for the week. They taken out their package from the ship and begun their way to the square. Of course after bureucracy of passport's,visa, the diplomatical inmunity issue of Jessica, the exchange of albats to island credits, etc.

They were walking through the village seeing the live of the streets of the village and an place to eat,but before that traditional clothes were needed in place to feel more of an local than nothing. They saw that the place was like those old town's of japan and surely the temples too, even the palace of the duchess Villa would be like the Kyoto palace or the one in Tokyo,it was japanease culture but with an complete different perspective and means for celebrate in some aspects.

The family spotted an store in where they could surely buy the new clothes that they needed for the celebration. They saw that there was an girl in the entrance of the store holding an big letter saying while supplies last. Edward and his family knew that this was for sell more and that people pays fortunes... And he failed in the trick since the clothes and the other stuff were needed,so they decided to enter.

Once inside the store they could see that it selled everything going from clothes, maps, books, guides, swimsuits, lanters to even food from all places in the world.

"Interesting store,I guess that we found the place in where we will buy the clothes and everything that we need here" says Edward as he saw the store and see what they needed to buy.

"Mom did you once came here???" asked Tess very curious about if she once entered here or visited Aurora.

"Every weekend,I take the liberty of visit the village and pass time here, but this store never" said Jessica seeing the swimsuits.

AHSCA wrote:"Thank you~" Azusa chimed in response. "Well festival time is still young yet so might as well make the most of both. Kumiko I'll be back in just a sec, gonna change into something for display"

"Sure! And thank you again for shopping with us, Miss." Kumiko thanked Aurelia with a slight bow of her own and helped the next customer.

Later, a few passing women remarked "Let's hit up the baths" "Great idea." All Aurelia would need now would be to follow the crowds to find it when she was ready.

Back aboard her boat, the Sand Wolf was occupied by a tasty treat, which she had left, while Aurelia herself went to work: Her provisions needed to be stored, her utility belt liberated from what she would not need (actually, at one point she simply decided to leave it on her boat, she wouldn't need it) and her number of throwing knifes and daggers needed to be reduced.
She would not become a little damsel in distress for Marcella to safe (although it was a fun idea...) and she wanted to be able to hold her own in a fight. So, she went with the minimal amount she felt comfortable with, namely two short daggers.
She knew, that she was safe here.
Regardless of anything, with a small smile, she came to the pleasant part: Replies on her phone. Her father was gushing about how wonderful she looked in her Yukata, her Grandmother was complimenting her as well - her uncle sent her lots of hugs and kisses, Dschamilla a reminder to be on her best behaviour.
The list went on.
It took about three quarters of an hour. It was easy to get lost in the tapping, she realized with a start, packing up and putting her smartphone back in her pocket. A few moments later, she was on her way again, searching for the bath house... and lost. Much like Utica, this village was a maze!
As luck would have it, a few women passed by, a few years older then Aurelia speaking about the baths and going there and agreeing to do so. Aurelia looked at Aldhiyb, shrugged and followed them.
She could not awai nightfall, but she needed to be ready!

Caius was glad to be off that ship and on land again. After three months at sea, one naturally adjusts to the movement of the waves and the tight quarters under deck, but to be on land again, to be able to walk longer than the length of the ship, that was a freedom and to meet new people, people that haven't been stuck on a ship together for so long, that would be a real pleasure. The young man almost whistled as he carried his only luggage, a large duffle, over his shoulder, and headed towards customs.

The customs agent seemed surprised at the diplomatic passport coming from such a raggedly dressed man. Caius had shaved and otherwise groomed himself, but still didn't avoid the sceptical look of the agent. I must get me some new clothes sought the traveller, as he was finally let through. His outfit was once made of the highest quality or at least from the most expensive brands, but after over a year of travel it was well worn and ready to be replaced. To this end he headed towards the shops looking for some suitable clothes.

Aurora Village Square
Ragnar stopped.
As no one was around who would have minded, they continued speaking German.
"Break" - he said, so Majida would stop, too, which she did.
The tall Norseman fished around in his pocket, until he found what he was looking for, a pack of cigarettes. He took two out of it, in order to offer one to his new acquaintance.
However, she already had supplied herself. "Got my own, but thanks!" Ragnar inwardly grinned - to him, women's handbags always looked more chaotic than Freudenberg had back in 1975, but their owners were mostly faster than him finding their stuff. They must have their unique, sophisticated system nobody but themselves managed to get through.
Ragnar's glance fell onto her pack. Thygesholm Tobakvarer, a Lillorainian domestic company, based in Stedsholt near Lysköping - and exactly his favorite brand! They really had a poopton of things in common ...
Both lit up.
After her first drag, Majida grinned, a bit sheepishly. "Actually I shouldn't ... at least if I don't want to decrease my performance in sports activities, that is." She quite did have the figure for it, Ragnar found. She shrugged. "But humans define themselves by their bad habits, right?"
Ragnar grinned. "If this was only my worst habit ..." He took a drag. "But on something else, by the way, where are you even planning to stay? I'm gonna look for some inn, not too expensive, just for staying at nights."
"I will most likely go with outdoor camping" - Majida replied. "I've seen some camping site on the way. I do that quite often - actually whenever I go on vacation and stay at a certain place for longer. How about you?"
"Only at festivals at home; when abroad, not so much." He had a drag and blew the smoke away, not exactly silently. "Especially in places where I'm not familiar with the local fauna."
Majida grinned. "Ah, someone's playing it safe, I see! Now, I just need the action and the excitement about it." She flicked some of her ashes away. "No idea why. I just need it."
Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)

They had sharp claws they could extend from their hands, which were more accurately termed paws, with the lower leg stucture so different from a human it made sense for them to be identifiably non-human. "Hey there! This seat taken?" He asked pleasantly, a cute nekomini kitsunemimi hopefully not tossing him because of his 'feral' look.

Holy Marsh wrote:Tobias had to give it some thought.

The cute mother-daughter group allowed Tobias in. They seemed nice enough, the girl having the energy accorded to youth. “Thank ya kindly,” Tobias said as he jumped over and into the chair, missing the table with his legs via dramatic acrobatic. He liked doing it! Having this agility was something an athlete could only dream of, and he didn't even have to try for it. Once in his seat he extended his paws for a shake, his claws withdrawn. “I'm from the Theocratic Empire. Here for the festival! Imagine my accent before I became a Tigris, used to be deep Pushanian. Now I purr and it feels real cool, pretty cool overall,” he said with a laugh, purring without even thinking of it. He was a happy little Tigris, even as he waited to be given a menu or the option to order. He was gonna get a ton of fish, assuming they had that option.

“My name's Tobia- Tabby, actually. Tabby! Nice to meet you!”
--------------------------------------------------------------

Tobias took a look around. Yukata? He'd guess it was the free-flowing robe looking thing. He wasn't a clothes expert by any stretch but it looked like what was on the brochures so it clicked well enough in his head. They looked nice. He'd have to get one. A floral orange, maybe? He didn't know color coordination very well, would need some help there. “A yukata? Well, they look nice. What color would you suggest?” He asked, approaching the section as his mind ran on the other possibility, a swimsuit. Was it needed? His normal outfit was pretty swimsuity as it was. Did well to dry fast, too. But heck, he had the money to spare. “Hadn't thought about a swimsuit- what I wear normally seems like it'd work, but what do you think? As for male or female, I mean, I'm Marshite. Aren't we all female by your definition?” He said with a laugh, trailing a paw across his body. It was hard to argue against being defined as female, all things considered.

Most motorized vehicles were police and military vehicles or the occasional shrine maiden who drove one for long heavy hauls. Everyone had mixed reactions to the influx of tourists some still bearing the grudges of 20 years ago others happy and enthusiastic to welcome many new arrivals to experience the best of AHSCAian culture. Aurora being the busy hub of everything in the nation was full of people local and tourist alike now.

Monday, August 27, 2018 - The First Day
Aceus Elurion, King of Danceria

Port Aurora Village Square, 2:45 PM

With the stark absence of motor-powered vehicle, the Dancerian prince felt strangely self conscious, so he quickly decided to turn off his engine and dismount. No sense wasting gas waiting for foot traffic, and besides, t was good weather for a walk. Of course a few elderly folks and even some his age glared at the out-of towner showing off his new ride, though it caused Aceus to wonder…

Did the Aschans walk all over the bloody isles?

During his brief sailing into the Islands, Aceus noted a severe lack of infrastructure. Trains, roads, airports and even busses! It seemed all travelling was done by boat or foot. It was a good thing he packed off-road tires and suitable camping gear, but he still needed some clothes, and a few maps. As fortune would have it, there was a clothing shop nearby, and with good prices too by the looks of it. Kicking the break and aligning the scooterbike in a hopefully unobtrusive position, the silver-haired man entered the establishment. If he was going to rest in the shrines, and possibly partake in the rituals, he needed to dress the part, and probably take a shower as well. Subduing his worries for a moment he focused on the selections offered by the boutique. Traditional and presumably local-made Hakamas and Yukutas appeared to be the dress for the celebration, of which Dancerians would scoff as “apron and bathrobe” dress. Too rustic, and too casual for a formal occasion under any circumstances, but then again, Aschans were a simple people, vastly different than the high-tech and high-tower cities of home. Selecting an earthy brown hakama, with a vibrant deep green haori and a sky blue yakuta to the clerks at the front counter. “Good afternoon, I’m in a bit of a fashion-related-pickle…” Aceus began. “I’m planning on staying in the shrines for the festivals, and I’m not certain which one would be more appropriate to wear…?”

Having thought it over since Aurelia's parting, Azusa did decided to change into one of the swimsuits they displayed. Not exactly what you think of as a professional shop ower but as afternoon was setting in, temperatures and humidity were rising and it probably wouldn't be proper to go around completely naked. "Still don't know how you can stand wearing that yukata day in and day out!" She remarked to Kumiko. "Ahah I'm really used to it, have since I was a child it just doesn't bother me. Oh looks like we have some more customers."

"I'll take care of this group." Azusa offered "Why don't you take Mamiko and enjoy some good food a while, I'll hold things down."

"Sure, thanks." Kumiko parted company of the store finding her little one to go enjoy a meal together while Azusa approached the group with a friendly "Hello, welcome to our store! If you'd like any help just let me know, is there anything you'd like me to show you? We have a lovely assortment of new swimsuits and if you are looking for something festive or traditional we have that too."

"Follow me." She beckoned them to follow her the short trip over. Over here was a young man, short brown hair, dark skinned dressed in his olive green military uniform. Very simple, not a decoration in sight. He was truly a military private. "Melo!" He snapped to attention when his sister called him. "Oh, Iffy! Hey." He nervously replied to her. His voice was a bit unusually high for his age. "We have some really special guests here."

"uuuh well diplomats are usually escorted by Knights--"

"No, NOT diplomats. Just Special. Got it?"

"S-Sure. Of course."

"Good. See you tonight. Don't leave shore without me again." She turned around to resume her duties at inspection.

"Ri-right. uuuh gentlemen, welcome to the islands. If my sister Iffy has entrusted me to you, I'm here to help whatever you need."

Regardless of anything, with a small smile, she came to the pleasant part: Replies on her phone.

Down the road was THE biggest public bath and onsen resort in the village if not on the island. A humble stay that also offered guests rooms to stay if they so desired otherwise there were smaller inns (that were generally more affordable) to accommodate the guests.

Now this shop ran by these two women was very busy to the point they regrettably did turn some people to their neighboring shops with a consolation coupon for a later visit. Next shop over was ran by a man and his wife and their son and daughter. "Welcome!" The daughter at the desk greeted him. She was sporting one of their sundresses they sold for women and girls and they had a pretty good asortment of men's clothes too. "Antyhing I can help you find, today?"

"No apologies needed, we are here to do business after all!" She smiled. "Heading on a multi-island tour huh? Well then let's get you prepped. We still have our share of yukata and kimono with all accessories we can get that suited for you. Best time to wear them is during the festivals though some like my own business partner and her child wear them daily. Well to each their own. We also have travel guides and maps that can help you navigate the islands. I'll throw those in no extra cost. There's a few inns along the road here, the Kitan is a combined onsen resort with rooms but it's a bit more expensive than your small inn that serves just guests. You might want to consider it because some of those do have baths in rooms if you feel a bit unease about public or want something more than a large wooden wash tub. Shrines and Temples also offer a place to stay generally free but it's good manners to do a little something in return for your stay there. If you feel really adventurous there's one camping site or you can pitch camp pretty much anywhere in the jungles or along the shores."

Looks like you'll be wanting Lot 12, that's a fine choice and a wind breaker is a good idea. Weather is generally a little more calm this time of year but still we do get some heavy storms every now and again." She reached under the desk giving them a wood plaque with their name on it. "This is your site marker so your spot will always be held. If you find you need a new one, just ask."
Like many of the businesses and shops, this was a family establishment. The inn keeper, a man this time. Not unheard, of just tradition men were the sailors and travelers in the islands but there were just as many positions where men were inn keepers domestics and the like. He was rather muscular and tall for an islander. Shirtless thanks to the heat and hudmity which could be seen on an alcohol thermometer which read 30°C. "Good day. Looking to check in, good timing we have some rooms available. "We are friendly to those traveling with animals. Now that domestic pet laws have been relaxed a little but that's a long story there. A double is doable."

Sojourner smiled, "thanks, and the wood will be useful too if there is none to gather".

Taking the plaque Sojourner then hands it to Kyrksen who then gave it an admiring look, "well lets get to it" he says, before thanking the woman at the camplodge.

Their tent is a mastery of packaging, unfolded onto the floor, 2 poles are then fed through it and pushed into their anchor pockets which then force the tent into its dome shape and despite its relatively large size, capable of holding 4 people and their bags, the tent is unpacked and ready to use in under 20 minutes, Kyrksen then sends Sojourner to pick up some bits of wood and some dried moss, a task that takes her about an hour which gives time to set up the fire pit, a task which on the whole is done with one hand as his cybernetic arm is good, but no real replacement for a human arm version 1.0.

"Kyrk, this is what I've got" says Sojourner.

Kyrksen smiles, "aah great" he says before starting to build the fire and showing Sojourner how to do so as he does, and so the camp fire is made and lit the old way, and it isn't long before a metal can with water in it is gently simmering away above the fire...

At the inn, Karen listens carefully to the innkeeper, "yes we are looking to check in, booking is under the 'Hall' name" says Karen,
"sir, our booking reference", says Jason, handing over the form before placing his arm around Karen and with the other hand Jason strokes marvin's ear, prompting a gentle purr to eminate from the small feline.

"now, do you want cash, travellers cheques or do you take plastic?", a normal question for most parts of the world, especially in the Aurora Confederacy where e-payments are the norm for payments, with only small transactions made by using the traditional red dinar bill, however Karen and Jason have all bases covered. "so what happened with the domestic pet laws then?" she asks

To Pony, off-world and fantasy nations, note; alien beings, fantasy beings can't cross into this universe and write from their perspective, as it's based on a MODERN TECH HUMAN ONLY SETTING SORRY!! This also includes Cloned humans as M/T technology has not progressed in cloning entire humans yet. PS I don't do war RP's either.

AHSCA wrote:"No apologies needed, we are here to do business after all!" She smiled.

The family was surprised of hospitality and kindess of the woman and that she was telling them about the travel and that the map's and everything would not be on extra cost,it might be because of the big buy of Yukata's and Kimono's of the family.

"Thank you for that, but we will pay the maps and the guides since we believe that it will help you, after all business is business and we always needs benefits from our sell's" says Edward related to the maps and the guides.

After that they went to get ready their yukata's and kimono's,well the kimono's for the ladies and for the night or the winter. When asuza told them about the Kitan the idea and the place was the best to stay seeing that the rest of places will be full of people.

"Great so we can request an room there then, how far it is from here and what is the cost of the stay for an week??,also the temple of the village is far away from here??" asked Jessica related to the temple in where they would pay their prayers,of course after they were dressed in the new clothes, eat something and reserve's their room in the INN.

Down the road was THE biggest public bath and onsen resort in the village if not on the island. A humble stay that also offered guests rooms to stay if they so desired otherwise there were smaller inns (that were generally more affordable) to accommodate the guests. People were already going in, local and tourist alike to enjoy the resort. Inside the lobby there was a list a slate displaying a sort of menu of specials and offers. (IC =Island Credits)

"May I please help the next guest" The desk attendant called for Aurelia. "Welcome, anything catch your eyes or would you like a suggestion?"

"That'd be me. Hi.", Aurelia greeted with a smile, then took a moment to remember her decision from having studied the 'menu'. She didn't need a room, but she figured, that the rents were good, but a private solo room had sounded interesting... with them all taken, she had to bite into the sour apple and decided: "Private room for three, please, just throw three other people in as you see fit, their fees are on me."
Aldhiyb nudged her leg.
"Oh, and my Sand Wolf could use a bath, too - I guess, that I'm not allowed to bring him along?", Aurelia asked, motioning to the canine predator turned goofy over-sized puppy, who looked at the receptionist with his biggest puppy dog eyes. "That would make in total...?"
