FOREWORD:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِThe Ummat al-Islām (Arabic: أمة الإسلام) is an intergovernmental organization founded in 2018 in Hithadhoo, the Islamic Republic of Huvadhu as a regional organization to foster joint cooperation, safety, and defense between Islamic states. The Islamic faith has been further threatened by not only heretical institutions but also by extremist Wahabbi elements within Islam which plague and bring down the image of Islam as the religion of peace. Entering the 21st century, the Ummat al-Islām has grew to become a more militaristic, defense-focused organization based on the principles of peace enforcement, anti-terrorism or the protection of Islamic interests or peoples. The organization seeks to become a buffer between the Islamic world and the threats that undermine it, uniting the Islamic world together to fight these threats diplomatically or militarily, if need be.
The Ummat al-Islām serves to be the guiding light to bring Muslims and Islamic states onto the right path, off from extremism and terrorism.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- Applicant state MUST have a majority-Muslim population
- Applicant state must be committed and determined to help the alliance reach the goals it strives for
- Applicant state must not be a terrorist state- not ruled by Wahabbi Islamists that undermine the Islamic image
- Applicant country must be a modern tech, realistic country with some military understanding
STRUCTURE AND FURTHER INFORMATION:Upon admission to the Ummat al-Islām, the applicant state must provide a delegate to the Islamic Summit arranged by the Parliment of the Ummah. The Parliment of the Ummah is similar in function to the UN General Assembly and is the basis for intergovernmental relations between members of the Ummat al-Islām. The Parliment is in session weekly to discuss Islamic affairs and creates resolutions and discusses the operations of the Ummat al-Islām.
Meanwhile, the Ummat al-Islām operates a joint quick-reaction force known as the Joint Islamic Quick Reaction Force. The force was created with the intention of being used to repulse military aggression, conduct anti-terrorist operations, fight transnational crime and drug trafficking, neutralize the effects of natural disasters or even overseas intervention and peace enforcement in regions where Islamic interests are threatened. Although it is not necessary to contribute a force to the Joint Islamic Quick Reaction Force, providing a battalion-worth of soldiers (larger than 800 men) will earn the nation a spot on the Conference for Islamic Military Affairs. The nation will be required to send a delegation to the Conference which will discuss military actions, joint-training and other operations that can be done for the benefit of the Ummah.
