Miss NationStates is a monthly beauty pageant founded (OOC: August 20, 2018 | IC: September 2, 2047), and is run by the government.

MsNS aims to help the showbiz industry grow, and plans to outsmart the real-life Miss Universe beauty pageant. OOCly the next Miss Universe pageant occurs at Aug 31. The Crazybloxian Times provides intensive coverage during MsNS pageants.

The minister of the MsNS beauty pageant is Embradie Groetu. This is also government-run.

1. It clearly says from the name of the city where your candidates were born that they are Chinese. “Shandong” is a Chinese city. The Empire takes a strong stance against Chinese influence in our nation.

In absolutely no uncertain terms, we would like to make clear Tinhampton's official opposition to the "Miss NationStates" pageant, the claims made by the Crazybloxian government concerning it, and the Crazybloxian Empire as a whole entity.
I was born in Tinhampton, and can trace my family back there for as long as I can remember; however, I find to be utterly ridiculous - "nonsense on stilts," even - your rejection of Chinese-ancestry candidates just for where they come from, a so-far unfounded prejudice (to the extent that the nation even has a "Ministry of Mandarin Extermination", although it has thankfully repealed the death penalty for unchangeable circumstances like this).
Such nigh-on baseless mumbo-jumbo has no place anywhere, and most certainly should not have two. I understand that the Empire walked out of its international alliance "Force" after bemoaning their almost-certain loss in elections, subsequently declaring war on them. This situation has been fuelled by the Miss NationStates pageant in part by its exclusion of all alliance members, and an explicit "NO RENEGALLEANS ALLOWED" notice on application forms. (How ironic that this is supposed to be "for diplomatic reasons!")
This sheer nonsense would have been unlikely to happen had it not been for the fact that this pageant was carried out by the unnecessarily authoritarian Crazybloxian Imperial government, of all the people that could have run it, specifically the President's cousin second-removed. It is a government that operates both highly negative discrimination against the Chinese and Force members, and overtly positive towards the "honest," Siwalians, and occasionally Christians; to the extent that only Renegalleans may be subject to "merciless" caning, and that such caning may only be carried out by anti-Renegallean racists!
It is a government with the cheek to launch eighteen 9.99999993-magnitude earthquakes at Renegalle's capital, to torture 300 million people to death every single decade and insist on keeping capital punishment after a thousand years, to believe that it takes a village to help a child who threw stones at Granny. It is a government that bans the destruction of video games, yet insists on spamming its democratic opponents at the rate of 5.3 million per second. This is a government that somehow has made eye infections impossible, stores the save data of every single video game of every single Crazybloxian, and can resurrect the dead, yet refuses to apply progress in real society.
It is a government we cannot reason with. We can reassure you that Tinhampton has absolutely no interest whatsoever in dealing with the Crazybloxian Empire and its openly racist infrastructure. Further measures along these lines will result in an embargo to be proposed to the Assembly once it arrives from Recess on the 7th of September. In spite of the concerns expressed by the governments and certain parties within Shayla and Tinhamption, the Department of Heritage and Cultural Affairs on behalf of the Majestic Empire of Old Beringia, after exhaustive discussion of the matter, expresses its full support of the Miss NationStates Beauty Pageant. We hold the opinion that the exclusion of Chinese descendants and other forms of influence emanating therefrom is only a means to seek protection from undue foreign influence.

Every nation that seeks protection from such attacks is only seeking what is critical to their continued survival and endurance. However, we also believe the excess to which the Hon. Rachel Vaughn, Minster of Foreign Affairs of the nation of Tinhampton claims the C.B.E. employ these defense mechanisms borderlines complete fabrication. It also serves as the basis for an unjust embargo of the C.B.E., over a beauty pageant no less.

As such, I write this missive to highlight the enduring commitment in the form a permanent venue being available to the pageant’s management so long as the C.B.E. maintains a favorable position in the eyes of the Beringian monarch and Beringian people. We seek a successful and long coordination of this competition and should it be stifled in its infancy by those who seek to weaken nations to would be aggressors is unacceptable. We will also seek to participate in the competition by submitting an applicant of our own.
