In contrast to the news thread where long posts with as much information as possible are encouraged, this thread serves as a "quick and dirty" message thread where leaders of the world and/or other characters sent short to the point messages to each other or adress the public at large.
The social media's name is blabber, essentially a twitter clone which functions in much the same way.
