Previous RPs to contextualize Rosa's conundrum:

-DAWN - Part 1
-EAGLE HAS FALLEN

Rosa Rivera, the once proud foreign ministress of the bayan
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Actually, just the worst of times as Rosa Rivera, the foreign ministress of the now chaotic bayan has fallen into a life of desperation for her own survival in the streets of Heiwa. More than 2 years ago, she fled the Philippines after uncovering some kind of Voodoo world takeover plot by his former master, the (presumed late) Philippine president Erin Terten. She knew very well what it meant when she known about it, it will mean she will be the target of the very people she had once served so loyally (well, not really). The plan involved the full might of the bayan's security forces; the KK, the Hukbo, the science team and the Kalihiman as significant sections of these forces have been diverted upon orders of the plan's overseers away from the war effort of the bayan towards this whole complicated scheme. The foreign ministress recalled on several government meetings in which she showed up to (there were only a dozen out of the hundreds) that despite the bayan being heavily constraine economically and materially on its war against foreign powers, particularly the S.A.C.T.O. alliance, the bayan government still insists on diverting billions of dollars of materials towards undisclosed plans eclipsing even the resources reserved for keeping the combatant forces well fed and stocked. It appeared this was the undisclosed plans that kept appearing in the budget. Rosa now knows that whoever is running the bayan be it the party or Terten or some another mastermind schemer, doesn't care much about winning the war because the country's survival never mattered. Terten and whoever is in cahoots with him doesn't give a single breath to the lives of millions of Filipinos who may be brought to torment underneath the heel of foreign powers who will inevitably defeat the bayan judging from how chaotic and disastrous the whole war effort has been so far.

Ever since she fled the Philippines for Kirishima, she has been living her life with the fake name of "Pokey Magiting", obviously not the prettiest name anyone could think but she has been using it repeatedly that it had stuck. She has been wearing a different shorter hairstyle, donning contacts in place of the spectacles she is widely known to be wearing and with clever makeup tricks, she looks like a totally different person. When she first landed at Heiwa she used to receive cash deposited into her bank accounts as assistance from the rich aristocratic Tiazon family but that has since been terminated as Rosa's bank accounts were frozen on orders of the Kalihiman in their quest to persecute the Asigna party's political enemies. Because of this, she has been finding it difficult to find a place to stay since the hotels are either very expensive or very strict with one's legal status. She went to Kirishima with a tourist visa confident she can renew it anytime by going to the Philippine embassy but she's now in big trouble since the embassy has been closed due to the war (Kirishima is a S.A.C.T.O. nation) and because she doesn't have the money to process a proper immigration visa she has been effectively been living in Kirishima (due to Kirishima's relatively higher standard of life than the bayan, the visa process to Kirishima is notoriously known for having one of the most painfully difficult visa application process) as an illegal.

The first place she stayed in was at the Seacoast hotel which is one of the more posh hotels in the city and she was only able to afford staying there when she was funded by Tiazons but by the time she was cutoff. Staying at Seacoast really did made her feel like she was a tourist since the amenities were indeed as 5 star as the internet reviews say. All the massages (by hot mixed race French-Asian men who offered happy endings and all sorts of activities that would make the fabled Jesus, the saints, the angels and the holy spirit weep), the hot tub baths, the pool parties, the balls and tasty Cantonese food really helped her take her mind off the fact that she is effectively a political refugee escaping a regime of racist murderers who ironically call themselves "progressive". However, the relaxation for the young Filipina was only temporary as it was cutoff abruptly by the Kalihiman's freezing of her bank accounts. She immediately checked out of the hotel realizing she only has enough money to last her a few months before she moved on to the part of town where the more cheaper budget hostel were located such as Songpa hostel which she thoughtlessly had chosen by playing "inny minny miney moe" on google maps not minding the bad reviews from that hostel she saw on the internet about the rooms being more like prison cells rather than proper inns (the second most liked review said "Songpa is the shittiest hotel in Kirishima but it's also the most affordable) as she hoped there could be a chance those reviews were simply exxagerated. She was desperate when she chose to stay there.

Image
Rosa's room at Songpa
Upon arriving at said hostel, the reviews were not wrong much to her dismay but they understated how bad the hostel actually as the first creature she saw in the hostel was a large black scorpion scurrying about the lobby (literally since she saw the scorpion before she saw any people). The first employees she saw only showed up when she shrieked because of the creature which was at least a foot long if her eyes weren't lying. The employees who calmed her down and led her to her room didn't act like they cared at all, it seems like this kind of thing was normal in their establishment. Her room, when she finally had seen it, made her sigh in extreme disappointment, it indeed did look like a jail cell as the walls were vandalized by tally marks scratched on the unpainted concrete walls, there were no furniture except for a single mattress at the corner of the room. Close inspection shows that the mattress was not even cleaned as it was coated with a thick layer of dust and cotton shavings that were starting to be torn off from the mattress.

"Um..." Rosa stuttered as she inspected the room, the uncaring lady who was apparently also the receptionist waited for her by the door to answer questions if she had any.

"Where are the pillows?"

"There are no pillows, the mattress is comfortable enough." The lady growled before she slammed the door. The door didn't even have a doorknob so it bounced open again. Rosa couldn't help but grimace in disgust at the chamber that was her "room". There weren;t even windows so light was only provided by the lone sometimes flickering light bulb at the ceiling. The young woman sat on the mattress to think realizing she had been wrong about the thought she had earlier that it was impossible for her to be homesick since she is the foreign ministress and it's her job to adapt to everywhere as a citizen of the world. Here she is now sitting on a dirty mattress blankly staring at the wall in front of her with no thought about her future. She went to Kirishima thinking its government would receive her and protect her as an asylum but it's been two years and she's still waiting. Previously she didn't care if the Kirishiman government would make her wait since life was good in the Seacoast but it doesn't seem like a possibility she can bear the same amount of time in this derelict hostel. She then reluctantly laid down the mattress as soon as her eyelids started to feel heavy. She was already a few minutes in her sleep when she felt that the mattress was beginning to become moist. Waking up, she checked under the mattress only to discover that there was a puddle underneath. Good grief. Looking around, she discovered that the random bits of dirt that were scattered around the room weren't just diet but rather they were insect legs remembering the creature she encountered on the lobby, suddenly, her appetite for sleeping was gone replaced by fearfulness that a scorpion might pounce on her in her slumber.

Hours couldn't pass any faster for Rosa who spent it by singing a few songs and thinking where the heck could Karten had gone. The bastard left her alone once he joined his family to live in the countryside islands of Kirishima. Karten's message was him apologizing that he couldn't bring Rosa with him since it was for the sake of "safety" but the Filipina thought other things like Karten not wanting him to be seen by his wife with her as there were already rumors that Rosa was either having an affair with him or doing drugs, sometimes both. It was only natural, Rosa did spend some days of her early life as an exotic dancer when she was kicked out her parents house after having what to them was "unacceptable relationships". Oh well.

Reading the news from the internet on her cellphone (reception was bad since the room had only a few openings from which the wifi signal from the hostel lobby can even get in), she discovered that Heneral Eluide, the chief of staff of the Hukbo had launched a coup against the Asigna party. Further news reports tell of the KK and half of the Hukbo remaining loyal to Timente, who was taken as prisoners by Eluide's clique which was condemned as illegal by the loyalist forces, who made no real organized effort against Eluide since none among them could agree with each other who should lead the attack against Eluide. Rosa then thought this will mean that the downfall of the bayan is a step away as with the Hukbo paralyzed by this power struggle, S.A.C.T.O. can literally just step in and invade without opposition.

The following few days was spent on finally making a solid plan to survive in the wretched city, realizing she's so close to being effectively broke, she then went on a quest to employ herself in a series of several greatly unrelated part time jobs. She had gained the job as a hair dresser, singer, night club dancer, makeup artist, cook and soap saleswoman (she was recruited by a local multi level marketing company called Kirilife and truly believed she could turn her life around by simply joining an MLM and inviting people) before she realized she knows nobody enough to recruit to her MLM scheme and she basically had lost 1,000 dollars of her own "investments" to said soap company.

After a bit of crying, wailing at her own stupidity, Rosa contemplated self harm but decided she was not edgy enough to do it.

Enmity between the Seeds!

Postby Bronze Serpent » Mon Jun 11, 2018 6:21 pm

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.- Genesis 3:15-King James Version

USS Jonah-off the coast of the Philipines
Image

It drifted across the ocean like a giant Shark searching out for it's prey, however this massive beast was way worse it was the USS Jonah a technological marvel designed for naval combat the sub had managed to sink numerous naval vessels of various Marxist powers. The vessel however was not owned by any state but rather the property of non-state actors, mercenaries of Bronze Serpent the outgrowth of legendary PMC known as Wild Eagle Armed Consulting.

Inside the crew was speaking amongst themselves, life on the submarine would get relatively boring especially with all the paperwork that usually came when dealing with potential security violations and other red-tape. The mercenary life was not always what it was cut out to be, and the business had become just as restricted as police or military professions from various states.

walking through the hallway was the captain of the ship Gregory Sears a legend to special forces and mercenaries across the four corners of the earth, it was said he killed tens of thousands of Communists on the battlefield. He walked at a slow pace as sailors would stop their daily activities to salute him, he entered the conference room where on the wall a map of the Duterte Line was, soldiers were talking amongst each other some of them commenting what the mission was about.

Sears smiled the clueless look on the men gave him a sense of pleasure, he knew it would challenge them but at the sametime he was concerned since he knew the danger the mission could pose. "Listen up men, we are being paid a big price, entering the belly of the beast." Sears laughed a bit "This is the Duterte Line, our backer is paying a hefty price to map out these highly secret tunnels. They are the artierry of the regime, and the recent coup that is taking place has given us the perfect opportunity to enter these tunnels, your goal is not to engage but merely to scout out and gather intelligence. The tunnel gives their military access across the islands and likely provides an infrastructure for their massive military-scientific complex." He placed his swagger stick across the map "It is a 4,000 long railway line connecting all of these little islands, a fortress."

Abel John Anderson the team leader spoke "Sir the way in?"

Sears smiled "Right here." he brought the crew's attention to another map of which he unfurled it like a scroll.

Image

He spoke "intelligence has revealed this......."

"Point A - Duterte line. The secret inter archipelagaic supply lines of the bayan homeland islands. Connects all underground facilities.
Point B - Submarine hangars for storage and stasis, accommodates up to 3 subs per vertical lane, 5 lanes in total per sub pen. (capacity only, not use)
Point C - Water line point. Can accommodate a maximum of 40 + stationary submarines. Expected average capacity is 5 submarines freely floating around it.
and Point D - Lift mechanism. Safely "catches" the submarine and lifts it up back in the ramp. A lot of the work done here is manual. It doesn't play much of a role during deployment apart from releasing the submarine. Chances are they are so confused from the coup that we will have an advantage over them, dozens of guards awaiting orders but going to and fro, All four of you should be able to sneak in via a Seal delivery vehicle."

Overseeing his men, he could see they were prepared a man with as much combat experience as Sears could tell this, he smiled thence lit a cigar "Well men it seems you understand now I am letting you Abel, your going to plan out how you are to get in. Oh and one more quick thing, we have a contact on the inside who sent us the info and he contacted our employer. That's how we were able to get this pretty basic map of the submarine base."

USS Ark, docks of the Duchy of Freistaat, off of the coast of Huguenoxe

Image

The USS Ark had finally docked to its arrival in Huguenoxe, leaving the ship was the second in command to Gregory Sears, Johnathan "Kichirou" Baker.
This was an important event a business meeting with the Diamond Duke aka Prince Karl Theodor who was the head of Freistaat a small city-state that had existed since the Middle Ages. Baker had been feeling nervous, it was another day visiting the Diamond Duke who was considered by many to be one of the most targeted men on earth due to the many enemies he made in his fight against the globalists by engaging in hostile takeovers of globalists companies mainly in the Diamond trade. Baker would get into the back of a limousine and be driven to a castle built in the Neo-Romanesque style, a man would open the door of the car and show Baker his way inside.

Noticeable was the stain-glass scenes of Christ's birth, depictions of his various miracles, his Last Supper, his Crucifixion, his Death, and his Burial and Resurrection and finally a depiction of Christ ruling as King over the Earth. Baker would be astonished by the beauty and glory of the building and what it depicted. A dark suited man with black sun-glasses would approach him and escort him to a another room, Baker would be taken through a court room and brought into a large dining room with a marble floor. A large table with a white cloth and a menorah on it was at the center of the room, and sitting at the far end of the table was the Diamond Duke who sat in a chair with two gold encrusted lions upon the arms. The Diamond Duke was noticeable by his long beard, his tall stature and wavy grey hair he wore a uniform almost Bismarkian prominently displaying an Iron-cross-his sapphire blue eyes made him look almost majestic. He was a man of strong dignity, a man who did not tolerate treason or what he perceived as treachery from his orders, he was a man who could be very jolly, forgiving and loving but had eyes of that of a tiger and his eyes showed experience.

The Diamond Duke had earlier sent

"Please take a seat, Baker my good friend." spoke the Duke

Baker sat down and spoke "You wanted to see me Duke?"

The Duke "Yes Baker, I wanted to know the status of the mission I am paying your company for." the Duke folded his hands in front of his face, his elbows on the table.

"Well, Sears is heading toward the Philippines, he is sending a team to enter those rumored tunnels, out of curiosity what made you hire him for this?"

the Duke continued on "An officer of Kalihiman, has reported that large stores of technology purchased from Nanocore Industries, William Bates's company is present at the facility."

Baker grew disturbed and did a frown "Bates? You mean the tech mogul? the guy who took over the Redshield Foundation non-profit after James Redshield was assassinated by the Nifonese?"

The Duke said "Yes, William Bates-naturally I would be concerned as you know Bates is a huge advocate for transhumanism, he is totally obsessed with it. His plan is nothing short of what he views as directing human evolution a man so swallowed in his own delusion I can only wonder what his link is to the Asigna party."

Baker said "What sort of technology?"

The Duke said "He claims a whole parallel society exists, I guess we will have to find out if he is telling the truth. The threat must be assessed plus it would not hurt to map out that tunnel and then use it for our plans in the future." he laughed a bit.

Baker said "Well I can assure you our men are the best."

The Duke stated in an almost casual manner "How have things been with Sears?"

Baker heistated for he knew that Sears had almost lost part of himself since the incidents in Guadalupador and Lebanon. "I really cannot tell, he has not been the same since the Cuscatlanis set up New Yama, he did work for them against Dorian insurgents. Also as you know me and Sears handled jobs fighting the Filipino troops in Lebanon during the incident. I will have to be honest it wasn't easy since we fought alongside many of those Filipino troops in the area during the so-called unification war against Hezbollah on the side of the corrupt Phalange regime in the country. I can tell you it personally was not easy to pull the trigger on some of those Filipino troops."

The Duke said "Well, old allies are always tomorrow's enemies, the way politics changes the Geopolitical landscape ensures this. You know ever since Cain killed his brother Abel mankind has been on a cycle of bloodshed ever since. Every Man wants his own way and sadly this is the reason why we cannot co-exist together, however I can tell you I would rather have this type of division then what ever sort of unification men like the Redshields have planned."

Baker grinned he knew the Duke was honest but sometimes he was just too honest and committed "Duke your ways are not my ways and my ways are not your ways. You are one of the most hard to understand people that I know of."

The Duke laughed heartily, his strong very guttural German accent fit the man who ruled over the city state with a relatively firm hand. His manly tall stature a sign of his past work as a soldier which he was at times more then a statesman.

A bunker in the Acadian mountains

The Acadian Supreme National Defense Council, comprised of the top figures in said country, planned out their schemes to protect the Acadian nation from any foreign harm. The generals, admirals, aristocrats, and bureaucrats who were in the meeting discussed Plan 666, the ultra-top secret plan the Acadian military high command had in case of war with SACTO due to Acadia's pro-Bayan neutrality.

CP 9 Headquaters
Kunugi| ≈15 km from Heiwa | Kirishima

PATIENCE

Patience is always referred to being a virtue perhaps even a skill, nevertheless it's the moments between experience and reaction where patience often plays its role. Patience allows an individual to examine a situation with a calm state of mind and properly resolve it. When the Kirishinan government, who has seen first hand just how much of a madman Erin Terten can be, heard of Terten's death a lot of people were surprised and even more so suspicious. Was it really that easy? Did Terten push his luck in the face of the Goddess Kamiya once too much, leading to her to cast the fabled thunder of judgement upon him? Considering the head of the CP 9 Junko Otonashi was a madwoman herself, she didn't buy it and once the data from the Ministry of Science and Aeronautics concluded that the so called earthquake was a man made explosion she knew... Either Terten was assassinated or he escaped. Kirishima had sought answers and wanted to ask the one high level official anyone in the government trusted. Rosa Rivera.

Imagine the feelings of joy and relief when Rosa herself came to Kirishima on vacation. Since she was not a wanted criminal and the feeling was that Rivera-san would simply approach someone after she had her fill of fun both conventional and carnal in nature. A day turned into weeks, which became months, which became not a year but two years. Both Cipher Pol 9 and the Heonbyeongdae have sat with patience as Rosa ran around Heiwa slowly losing money and sinking into depression. Patience is not infinite and patience has just ran out.

Junko was blitzing though the office as various agents and staff stared wide eyed in shock. Usually they were admiring her beauty but there was something unusual about Junko today. Junko finally stormed into her reception area where her assistant and protege Toka looked up shocked

"J-Junko-sama, you're here early today!" Toka exclaimed in reference to Junko's tendency of showing up whenever she pleased, usually late.

"Well Yada-san, lets just say that there is something I really want to get done today." Junko responded still serious which caught Toka even more off guard.

"Oh okay...by the way you have a visitor." Toka stated before going back to her work.

Junko had a confused look on her face before she walked into her office and found the head of the Heonbyeongdae, Kyouko Naegi, staring back shocked for a moment before reverting back to neutral.

"Well isn't this a surprise. You're actually on time for a change." Kyouko stated plainly

"Naegi...to what do I owe the pleasure of being visited by the second lady herself in person?" Junko asked cautiously.

"The Heonbyeongdae has received the proper authorization to bring in Rosa Rivera for questioning." Kyoko begun before she sighed. "At least that's officially what we are doing, in actuality were-"

"Bringing in a pathetic sow who is living like a good for nothing fugitive!" Junko interjected.

".....Basically....." Kyouko responded simply.

"So tell me why the hell you took my case when we are dealing with a foreign national?" Junko complained

"Well it didn't help that you ignored the case after Rivera-san's accounts were closed and lost track of her for awhile. Luckily this was always also my case."

"Who would've thought that you of all people would come here to gloat." Junko stated pissed.

"I didn't" Kyouko stated simply

"Eh?" Junko responded confused.

"I am essentially sharing the case with you, honestly she is a foreign national and she is not a threat so she isn't worth my time...besides I believe you have an agent that really would love to apprehend Rivera-san herself. No?" Kyouko stated rising

"Yes, Yukimura Akari. She was stood up in the Philippines two years ago when Rosa came to the Philippines. But wait you are not really suggesting that I send Yukimura to collect Rosa? Are you?" Junko asked shocked, wondering what the Heonbyeongdae head was thinking.

"I am thinking that and if it comes to it she should be interrogated here if need be." Kyouko added.

"After what she put CP 9 though, don't you know we especially Yukimura may rough her up a bit? Junko asked.

"I am well aware considering it a gift and a sign that despite our past, I am willing to work with you...besides she wasted everyone's time, including mine." Kyouko added before walking out of Junko's office.

Songpa hostel
Outskirts of Heiwa | Kirishima

2 Years, that's how long it's been since Akari Yukimura went to the Philippines with a simple mission in mind. Make contact with the Foreign Mistress, Rosa Rivera, the sole high level official that was trusted by the Kirishinan government and investigate the alleged death of Erin Terten. She left a voicemail for Rosa and then nothing, about a week of silence later she was informed that Rosa had left the Philippines and Akari returned home. So when Akari learned that Rosa's whereabouts were known and she was tasked with apprehending her, Akari no longer cared about her day off. Akari was about to achieve closure.

After driving for awhile her GPS announced that she reached her destination and looked around confused at a small building with little if any windows. Is this the location?" Akari wondered before pulling over. She then got out of her car and approached a green SUV that had two people siting in it. Normally she would have to go though various steps so they could verify each other identities but she knew one of the Heonbyeongdae agents already. Akari simply knocked on the passenger side window when a brown hair woman looked over and gave a small smile before lowering the window.

"Who would've thought that you were the agent that got stood up in the Philippines, Rosa has really messed up now if she pissed you off." Akari's old acquaintance Rinka Hayami stated plainly.

"Yeah...Anyways she's in that s**thole?" Akari asked gesturing over at the building.

Rinka nodded "Sure is, by the way this is my partner Cartier Alain-san." Rinka gestured over to a Caucasian man.

"Nice to meet you" Alain greeted simply

"Likewise, so what do I need to know?" Akari asked.

"Target Rosa Rivera going by the name of Pokey Magiting. Looks a little different with shorter hair, maybe contacts and different makeup but facial structure match." Rinka explained before showing Akari some pictures that have been taken of "Pokey" compared with Rosa. "Last public encounter with an agent at a nightclub where she was a dancer with no extras, a common trend of foreginers. Last verification occurred with a phone call to Rosa's residence in the Philippines, and official warrant is for expired visa and false identity. Use the information however you like, we are your back up and there are local police in the area on standby." Rinka finished.

"Heiwa Police? What for?" Akari asked.

"Insurance, target does not know the Heonbyeongdae is after her, if we lose her she can be much harder to track. We don't want any surprises." Alain spoke up.

"Copy" Akari responded before crossing the street and entering Songpa Hostel.

Upon entering the building, Akari recoiled in disgust at the shape the building was truly in, the building clear broke health and safety codes. After shaking herself off Akari approached the front desk.

"Hello, I am looking for Magiting Pokey?" Akari asked.

"1D" the woman answered immediately without questioning anything. Akari was definitely sure that this place was not safe at all if the Hostel would give up personal information so carefree like that. Akari made a mental note about having the hostel investigated before heading over to Rosa's room. Well this was the moment Akari been waiting two years for, she noticed the door did not have a doorknob and she could just walk in easily but she decided to be polite and knock first.

"Hello I'm looking for a Pokey Magiting?" Akari called out as she knocked.

Yukimura's knocks would go unanswered for a while. If she leans in to stick her ear towards the door so she could hear what was going on, she would catch the sound of sobbing and sniffling on the other side.

"Coming..." A very meek voice groaned as sounds were heard of multiple locks and bolts were being opened from the other side. The door opened to reveal a woman that was exactly like the "Pokey Magiting" person described in Rinka's briefing but there were some differences. Her hair, frizzly and messy, had bangs akin to those of emos but not enough to hide that she was wearing makeup that had melted a bit from obvious crying as one could conclude from her eyes that had reddened a bit probably from all the rubbing in an attempt to hide it. She was wearing a sleeveless top that only covered everything below her collar bone just enough to reveal some cleavage from her D cup breasts along with jean shorts that failed to reach half of her thighs. Misery was plastered in the expression on her face which would make one think that she had just got through a terrible divorce. The serious looking woman scanned the surroundings around before she locked her eyes on the plain clothes wearing woman in front of her. After plainly nodding for a bit, her strict looking face suddenly beamed into a very wide smile.

"Give me a sec..." 'Pokey' said slamming the door shut. Sounds of stuff being thrown around, papers before crumpled and torn, sticks falling into the floor, whips being cracked, cats hissing and a bunch of other sounds that are out of place in this context would be heard clearly through the thin decaying wooden board that was the door. The door opened once again to reveal 'Pokey', now wearing a red sleeveless one pieces dress which just like her previous top, covered only enough to show cleavage but now reached until the floor though not enough to cover her feet which were donned by expensive looking high heels. Her dress glimmered against the light and if one inspects carefully, one would find that her dress was slit in her flanks from the waist down. Her messy face was now restored by retouched makeup and her short wavy hair now full and clean bouncing gracefully on the bit of wind that brushed against it from the hallway fans. With this sudden improvement in appearance, one could only wonder what magic she had used to pull all this off in just under ten seconds.

The Filipina snatch the Kirishinan agent's wrist and pulled her into the room which was now clear and decent. The flickering lightbulbs that lit it poorly had now been replaced by a neon blue night light to brighten the room that had now looked like a presentable brothel chamber.

"You must be Kim?" The Filipina smiled, locking the door shut before pouring from a bottle of wine into two glasses.

"Let us begin the massage session and we'll worry about the payment later. Teehee!"

Just outside Songpa, about a dozen plainclothes multinationals, 5 Filipinos, 3 Thais and 4 Caucassian people were simply roaming around the immediate area around the hostel. One of them, a Thai woman sent an mobile email that would quickly be received by the 11 others around the area.

Meanwhile somewhere in the eastern coast of the bayan

Sears had reaped and Sears shall sown. The veteran PMC officer had been drifting apart with his massive behemoth across the Pacific and multiple anomalies shall come within range. Bayan submarines. Attack submarines that had been assigned to detect any intruder inside territorial waters and sink them immediately. Within Sear's immediate sonar range, he shall see half a dozen cruising on multiple directions, their presence armed and dangerous so it would be natural if the whole entourage within USS Jonah shall feel any fear from their presence, fear that they may be attacked. Naturally, their mission, a covert one, would not involve unnecessary combat with these Bayan submarines in an effort to stay off the radar from their enemies so their presence is indeed a problem. Thankfully, Sear's bet would be proven worthwhile as the bayan submarines would have the Jonah within their radar but no effort to engage was made as the entirety of the Hukbo's forces was still frozen at the moment with all the chaos happening in the surface.

Sears and his Jonah is massive but the moment their target shall arrive within range, the Behemoth shall only be nothing but a puny dwarf compared to the scale of the Maw of one of the bayan's submarine pens. It's mouth alone must measure at least 200 meters wide so one could only marvel at the amount of materiale that must have spent in making these damn structures. All ways of detecting these pens will only be done by accoustics since the pens are deep enough in the water to not be in the place where light could not reach so it could not be detectable visually.

The man leading the great shark was passing through enemy infested territory but said enemies are miraculously idle, to their convenience so otherwise, this is a relatively obstacle free mission. Or so they will think. The moment they reach within half a kilometer of the pens, USS Jonah went to trigger a bunch of sea mines that littered the area in a manner dense enough to make the journey seem like brushing through a field of hay. Said mines were large metallic disks that were chained to weights on the ocean floor. Much of these triggered mines, luckily were jammed as a result of their rare maintenance so their detonation was delayed though would send some shockwaves that would be enough to send a jolt throughout USS Jonah. Mine after mine would be triggered by the wake of Jonah's journey but one mine would detonate just in time to send a shockwave powerful enough to graze Jonah's side. For the remainder of the journey, Sears and his crew would be traveling with this wound, not enough to sink the submarine and halt their journey, but still enough to render a return journey improbable without using another vehicle. The first of tests had passed.

Finally, after that perilous trial, they had arrived. Parking the submarine in these pens would be easy if the crew were professional enough. There would be sliding hydraulic elevators were Sears and his crew could park their wounded submarine. These elevators were automatically activated so any sub, friend or foe will still be brought along the elevator which would lift the submarine out of the water riding across a diagonal ramp that slid in a shallow angle up to a dock. A robotic vehicle would then position itself just beside the beached submarine creating a ladder that unfolded itself into the hatch allowing for easy disembarking for the entire crew. Inspection by the crew of the surroundings would reveal that similar sized subs were parked just beside their own but these belonged to the bayan. Looking above, they would see that this submarine pen was a massive cavity which had a solid concrete ceiling grilled by some thick metal scaffolding that was at probably at least half a kilometer high above them. Only one's far fetched imagination could think of how much materiale and men the Asigna regime had in its store to spent just to build these structures, how much disregard for human life was shown in its construction. Looking around, its nothing but eerie silence in the place just interrupted by the calm sounds of the murky water making waves in the dock and occasional sounds of machinery that thundered through the megastructure. Sears could wonder, this is only one of the dozens of submarine pens that existed in the bayan and each of those were connected by a wide network of railways so if his reports were true, this whole megastructure probably constituted as the largest megastructure mankind has ever built but unannounced.

All seems calm since there seemed to be no one around controlling all the machinery of the place but looking down, whoever peered out first to look outside would see that their parked submarine were surrounded by uniformed men, 2 dozens who were taking aim their weapons towards the craft some using their RPGs, some using pistols, some with their machine guns. Closer inspection would see that this was the Hukbo, surrounding their vessel which was a foreign entity in their own military base. The second of tests had begun.

O wretched man that I am!

Postby Bronze Serpent » Mon Jun 18, 2018 7:08 pm

"Oh crap my back hurts." said Sears he sighed the ride had been quite bumpy "Damn mines!" he thought to himself for a bit. A sailor walked toward him "We are in the belly of the beast." to which Sears replied "Yeah!" the thought of such a place disturbed Sears it eerily reminded him of his past and stern frown appeared on his face he spoke to himself "O wretched man that I am!"

Right as they arrived in the massive dock a Seal delivery vehicle would be released containing Abel and the other three operators designated to go in first. While Sears and the rest of the crew would remain in the submarine.

As the Submarine headed up the elevator and began to attract the attention of the Hukbo problems began to arise. "Sir they have literally surrounded us?" said one of the crew "What the hell? How are we going to get out of this?" complained another of the sailors. Sears was annoyed "Stop acting like little girls, you signed up for this."

"How many are we surrounded by?" Sears demanded

"24 of them at least sir."

Sears smiled "Darn, it will be easy for the four."

Outside the submarine

The first four operators who had earlier managed to get out for scouting reasons quickly observed the two dozen troops surrounding Sears and the crew in the submarine, Each of the four men was to push two Hukbo over the railings into the water, eliminating eight guards leaving only 16 which hand-grenades would then be tossed at.

Songpa hostel
Outskirts of Heiwa | Kirishima

"What a wreck..." This was the immediate thought that Akari had when Rosa first opened the door. She heard that Rosa hadn't been doing well but the pitiful state Rosa was in was much worse than expected. So much so that the immediate anger Akari had went out the window (if there were any) and with that hesitation she was caught of guard when the door was slammed shut on her. Akari would raise her eyebrows at all the commotion and took a second to survey her surroundings.

"What is she up to-" Akari was interrupted from her thoughts when Rosa opened the door and she was left stunned. In a short amount of time Rosa completely turned her look around as if she had some sort of transforming dress on the entire time. If Akari was in a somber mood before she was now in a frisky one with how quite simply hot Rosa looked. Akari bit her lower lip and while her thoughts were racing she was brought into the room which also went though a major change. "She would make a great support operative in CP 9....wait if she could do this why was the room so disgusting earlier!?" Akari thought to herself.

"You must be Kim?" The Filipina smiled, locking the door shut before pouring from a bottle of wine into two glasses.

"Let us begin the massage session and we'll worry about the payment later. Teehee!"

Akari was torn, just a short while ago she planned on introducing herself and then attacking Rosa for standing her up in the Philippines and then whether Rosa liked it or not, drag her back to Kunugi. Now Akari wanted to attack Rosa in so many different and mutually fun ways but her identity would be revealed eventually which could set back how Rosa viewed her. Normally Akari would not care about something like that but if she was going to sleep with Rosa it would need to be more than a onetime thing. Oh and being undressed would mean being unarmed and intoxication would be a bad idea.

Akari sighed before placing her hands on her lap and looking into Rosa eyes warmly. "Pokey-san if it were up to me the massage would be on the house. *sigh* I would love to do this but another time because...well I'm not Kim." Akari waited a second, mentally deciding if she should use one of her alias names or her real name before ultimately choosing the latter. "My name is Akari Yukimura and I am with CP 9. We need to ask you some questions over at HQ." Akari stated firmly with an apologetic bow. "We could always have a massage session afterwards I-if your still interested afterwards." she added.

Outside the building

"Does she not have a partner?" Alain asked as he sat behind the wheel of his vehicle both as a genuine question.

"Cipher Pol doesn't really use partners and besides the one person Yukimura-san would even potentially partner with is busy being the Dirigeant's personal guard." Rinka explained.

"You were in the same graduating class right? " Alain asked as a follow up question.

"Yeah, but we weren't close if that's what you are wondering." Rinka stated plainly

" I see" Alain responded "Hey Hayami-san" he added.

"Hm?" Rinka responded

"This isn't really a busy area right?" Alain asked.

"No besides this cheap hostel there is nothing to see over here and that hostel as bad reviews only really poor migrants or someone pathetic would willingly book themselves here." Rinka stated nonchalantly.

"Well then we have a problem... I think?" Alain stated.

"Huh?" Rinka stated confused as she looked around to see a relative sudden foot traffic in the area. On top of that they were not together as a party at least not going by there action which made things even more suspicious. While such a sudden influx of people to a neighborhood like this was unlikely, it was still possible. The problem was considering there was an ongoing mission anomalies, and surprises were to be seen as risks and threats. " Yeah I don't like the look of this at all. I'm going in." Rinka stated.

"I'll go, I look more like a tourist and am better suited for close quarters combat should the need arise. As a marksman your better suited as support, so I'll go in and you have Heiwa Police and Heonbyeongdae on alert." Alain countered.

"Tch, fine" Rinka didn't want to admitted but the younger rookie was right. Alain stepped out of the car and if anyone saw him they would be able to see his features. He was young in his mid-20's and fair skinned. He was lean and muscular but not overtly. He had raven colored hair from his Kirishinan mother and blue eyes from his father. He was of average height and dressed in casual attire with aviators and a backpack. As Alain walked into the building Rinka texted Akari, warning her to be alert and that Alain was coming in. With that squared away Rinka rose the alert level. They were still prepared for a false alarm but they were also now prepared if something was up.

Eastern Coast of the Bayan

Sears smiled "Okay crew area cleared, we can board now ....so load up!...." Sears shouldered his Howa Type 89 assault rifle his men loaded up and put their gear on. An impressively armed small raiding force a crew of 40 men got off to meet up with the four men who managed to eliminate the dozen Huckbo guards at the submarine docks.

Sears walked up to Abel, and shook his hand "Good job son! I taught you well." Sears "Okay crew now we are in the docks, lets move out." Now one would naturally assume that Sears was making a stupid decision here just getting off his submarine and all, but the time had come to scout out the tunnels regardless of how bad a tactical decision it was. Sears however noticed this and ordered each member to spread out into groups of four, as they would enter the tunnels. Each group of four would follow behind the other group of four.

The beautiful woman sighed before placing her hands on her lap and looking into Rosa eyes warmly. "Pokey-san if it were up to me the massage would be on the house. *sigh* I would love to do this but another time because...well I'm not Kim."

The woman hesitated. "My name is Akari Yukimura and I am with CP 9. We need to ask you some questions over at HQ." The woman, whose name was apparently 'Akari' stated firmly with an apologetic bow. "We could always have a massage session afterwards I-if your still interested afterwards." she added.

Rosa froze. The jig was up.

Her mind quickly went into a quick train of thought that seemingly made time slow around her. Conflicting thoughts surged through her head.

“The Kirishinans, should I trust them or not?”
“I have betrayed their word.”
“What would they want from Rosa? There is nothing important about Rosa threatens Kirishinans.”
“Yeah but they might be on to me because I know all about the revelation plan.”
“They might give you your only chance to lead a normal life.”
“BUT THEY MIGHT BE TERTEN’S SCIONS!”
“Calm down Rosa! It’s time to compose yourself. No need to panic.”
“Breathe and think.”
"Also, my breath stinks... I haven't brushed my teeth in 3 days."

She tried to breath for a while, before realizing her deep breathing would spread embarrassingly foul fumes across the room and hence humiliate herself in front of Akari.

“Putang ina…”
“What do I do?”
“Hmmm…”
"HMMMM…...."
"HMMMMMMMMMMM..............."
"HMMMMMMMMMMM...............??????"

She quickly clenched her fist and tried to strike a blow to Akira's face. It was a very pathetic punch but she was still trying her best.

“HIYAAA!!!” She screamed as her fist was about to make contact with a woman who she did not know was probably a skilled intelligence agent who is a trained martial artist.

Meanwhile in the surface, Manila, Former Philippine Bayan

Image

Tanks are everywhere in the streets and various aerial assets such as attack helicopters buzzed through the air above the capital making what would otherwise would be a silent day for the capital into a deafening one. All of this was a new sight for the people of the Bayan. It only was a matter of time before everyone noticed that much of the troop concentrations were centered around the Punungan palace, the seat of the most powerful man in the Bayan, the punong, Adriano Timente and it didn't seem like the Hukbo were moving in his orders since his enemies were outside the borders of the Bayan so it didn't make sense to concentrate a powerful army to buzz the perimeter around them president's own home unless if the Hukbo's enemies were inside the building. Armored columns raced down the streets of the capital while soldiers who rode the tanks gave announcements via megaphone telling everyone what was happening; a coup was happening, the Hukbo was now in total control of the Philippine government.

Image
Back at the New Hall in Zamboanga, Eluide and the other Henerals, sitting tensed in their chairs at the meeting room were waiting anxiously as their coup plans were unfolding. The arranged their chairs beside the tables to face the widescreen at the south edge of the room, making the room resemble like a theater. Through the large widescreen they saw the live feed of the coup unfolding from the perspective of the cameras from different select units. The live feed rotated between the live feeds automatically from time to time but the Henerals themselves had the power to switch between feeds manually via their remote controls. Sometimes, the lesser Henerals would childishly fight for the remote to switch to the feed they like the most only to be halted by Eluide who growled at them from time to time when their little rough housing was bothering him.

Eluid meanwhile, while in the room with the rest of the high command, didn't join in the live viewing as much as he was kept busy by calls left and right from different units under his command. Admiral Meier meanwhile acted as his secretary. “Yes, good. The first kor of Luzon has pledged allegiance? Brilliant!” Said the nonchallant chief of staff, who was talking to an adjutant of his in the other of the line. “The third and the fourth too? Amazing.” Meier smiled as more and more units defected from Timente's direct command and pledged loyalty to him.

“So it seems.” Meier smirked. “Everything is running pretty smoothly in this humble coup of ours.”

“Not smoothly enough.” The Heneral nonchallantly took a sip of coffee from his old mug. The coffee had turned cold as they had been in the room for hours already as they kept close watch of this plan being carried out. “The second and fifth kors, we have not heard anything from them yet.” The Admiral furrowed his brows in worry. Not everyone was replying to their call for a coup and it's not very coincidental that many of those that didn't reply or took too long to reply because they paused for a while and thought twice were from regions with the highest Asigna party loyalty.

“A word or two from the punong in Clark may help.” Eluide suggested. “It seems pretty reasonable to do so since these are the kors the report the highest levels of loyalty to the party. Only a word from the punong may have them lay down their arms.”

“Haay naku… prepare for a very long sermon from the former punong.” The Admiral sighed as they stood up and prepared to leave the office via the Duterte line.

“As long as he still has large Hukbo units loyal to him, I wouldn’t exactly call the man ‘deposed’.” The chief of staff said blankly. “Let’s go Meier.” After he ordered the rest of the Henerals to stay at Zamboanga to keep watch of the overall progress of the coup from there, the two left for the Duterte line and took the fastest train to Manila.

The Palace was eerily silent when the elevator doors to it opened. The halls were so quiet that the two Henerals could hear their heartbeats and the pulses of their various extremities as much as they could hear their own footsteps. They were at the basement and they had many hallways and staircases to walk through before they could reach Timente's office which was at the top floor. While taking the walk the two did not speak for they kept their sights and senses paying attention to the whole place around them. It wasn't halfway through the walk when they decided to take out their pistols and switch the safety locks off so they could begin shooting whenever it was necessary. This was a precaution they felt they had to take because for all they know, they could be walking into the trap set up by the Punong guard, the KK unit that was tasked to protect the current punong.

The palace was so big they couldn't hear the rumble of tanks, the thunder of the choppers nor the zoom of the fighter jets being deployed to circle the perimeter of the palace outside didn't get through the building. It was just eerie unnatural silence. They have been walking for 5 minutes now and they had not seen nor heard a single soul.

Image
When they were 2 floors left before Timente when they heard a sad tune emanating from the top floors. It was a lone violin playing music that consisted of mostly minor keys. The more they went closer to Timente's office, the faster the music seemed to get and bit by by, it seemed to be losing notes as if the strings were snapping one by one so that they could not be played again. The two Henerals did not mind the music as they kept alert, pointing their guns in front of them and making their steps as silent as possible. It was obvious for both of them that it was Timente playing the Violin as they had known it is his past time. The moment they reached the final hallway, the violin music suddenly became furiously fast and the sound of wood being crumpled and torn cracked through the hallway. Once they finally made their way to the door, only one note was being played slowly the violin music was silent before wood could be heard crashing into the ground and breaking.

Eluide pulled Meier's wrist leading him to the side as he took two steps back and charged upon the door. With a single frontal kick, the door broke open while the knob remained stuck to the groove at the door frame before falling and rolling away. In front of them sat Timente, looking quite amused with a half smiled pasted on his seemingly expressionless face trying to rival Eluide who was just as, if not, more nonchallant in his expression than anyone. Pieces of broken wood that were clearly once the violin that was played earlier lay scattered on the floor. Dust from the wood shavings flew along with the specs dust in the air, illuminated by the sunlight that flashed through the large window behind the the shaggy man.

“Hello, Heneral.” The punong greeted with a warm tone, signaling the two to enter the room as if they were guests of honor.

“Congratulations for deposing me.” Timente stood up. Meier reached out his hand smiling as he expected the young man to shake his own to congratulate them but Timente just passed by him to open a locker located just beside the doorway behind them. Out of the locker, Timente took out two glasses, laid it out on the table nearby and took out an unlabeled bottle that poured out yellow liquid into the two wine glasses. The floral odor of the liquid pierced through the wooden smell of the room. Eluide recognized it quickly, it was just rice wine, specifically, Sake.

Timente, brought the two glasses towards his own table before sitting on his chair and signaling the two Henerals, still holding their loaded pistols in their hand to sit on the two chairs in front of his table. "It's a great time to talk about what's my role in this new Bayan of yours. How can i help in achieving what you want?"

“Aba wow. Ang bilis!” Meier sat along with the Heneral, the two looking quite bemused. “Looks like we didn’t have to do a lot like we expected.” He shrugged.

“Cut the shit Timente, we need you to tell the other units to stand down.” Eluide commanded as his hand slapped the table top. The contents of the wine glasses nearly spilled.

“That is beyond my power as punong. You deposed me remember?” The shaggy haired man shrugged with his eyes wandering around as if avoiding eye contact with the two. “Tell them to stand down yourself.

“We don’t have time for this!” Eluide hissed. “I am trying to save the skin of millions of Filipinos, your asses included for when the Nihonese comes.”

The Nihonese doesn’t need to come.” Timente said as he slowly pushed the two wine glasses closer for the two Henerals.

“Ano?!” Eluide slapped the table once again, this time, the wine glass fell to its side spilling the sake to Timente's direction who in turn looked quite annoyed that his expensive suit got stained.

“If you could have stayed in line and not launch any coup, we could have stood our ground and remained fighting.” Timente growled. “But treachery is in the blood of you Cavitenos I suppose. You deposed a duly elected government and surrendered to SACTO while we’re still at the top of our capability!”

“War production isn’t exactly as high as you like to think." The chief of staff countered. "We’re running out of resources. We’re running out of oil! We need oil to fight! And how can we import oil if our currency is under attack?”

LIES!” The punong stood up pointing at the Heneral accusingly. “YOU TRAITORS DESERVE DEATH! I WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR TREACHERY!

I am trying to save millions of lives from being lost in needless fighting! Every scenario we crafted ends up with the Bayan being conquered one way or another. I am doing you all a favor by offering the least bloodiest path!”

Meanwhile, Meier rolled his eyes as he was witnessing another fruitless debate between Timente and the Heneral. He has already been through so many of these to know that neither would change their mind in the end.

“You have no honor!” The punong spat. “Nasusuka ako sa inyo dahil sa inyong kawalan ng mga bayag! If you are to be defeated. Then why not end it with death in battle?!”

“Tanga! What’s the use of pride when everyone will be dead to treasure its worth?” Eluide too stood up clenching his fist. “Your convictions and our survival don’t go hand in hand.

“To hell with your survival.” Timente said. He retreated a few steps back revealing two clenched hands that were shaking. “I rather die with my head held up high and I will indeed.” Timente quickly reached out for his pocket revealing a pistol and aimed for Eluide.

“YUKO!” Meier threw his body unto Eluide making the two fall on the floor. “BURN IN HELL YOU TRAITORS!” Shouted Timente who took only one shot. Timente and Meier, ducking on the floor, pushed the table forward towards Timente's direction hoping to pin him in with it against the wall. The strength of the two eventually did and the pistol was released and rolled to the far corner of the room by Timente, who hopelessly struggled to push the table away.

4 Hukbo infantrymen in complete combat gear went in aiming their bullpup rifles towards Timente's direction. "SAS! SAS! SAS!" One of the men screamed as all three, Timente, Eluide and Meier held their hands in the air. As soon as he recognized Eluide and Meier by the insignias they had on their sleeves, the team leader of the fire team held up his right palm signaling the rest of the team to stand down. The team leader saluted and Eluide ordered him to Timente's direction.

Kalaboso niyo iyan. I have no use arguing with this man.” Timente, much to the amusement of everyone in the room held out both of his hands forward as if surrendering himself to be handcuffed and carried away. He did not say anything else and avoided eye contact with the two Henerals or with everyone else as he was taken out of the room.

Eluide and Meier meanwhile, stayed behind and stood to pause for a while as they processed what had just happened.

“Well Eluide. It’s official.” Meier said, patting Eluide on his back. “You are now, punong of the bayan.

It seemed that even for this realization, Meier still could not get a reaction from Eluide, who in turn paused to think for a while.

“It’s not exactly an honor I am willing to hold.” Eluide says knowing the bayan isn’t exactly the power that it once was as it is surrounded by enemies and drained economically as it is being cut off from the outside world via embargo and economic sabotage. Anyone who is holding the title as leader of this specific nation was in fact, the unluckiest man alive. He would rather be anyone else at this point.

The two once again returned to headquarters back at Zamboanga. Even with Timente arrested, Eluide had allowed no celebration on the part of the Hukbo as he knows this is nothing but a symbolic victory on their part. They still had dangerous enemies that threaten their plan to stop the war once and for all. Eluide and Meier rejoined their colleagues at the conference room very dismayed that there was still no change to the situation of the second and fifth kors, the kors who owned the largest amount of land based nuclear weaponry via their artillery brigades. They were disproportionately the most powerful out of all the land based forces of the bayan, having the ability to easily overpower all the others with the unconventional weaponry they had at their disposal. While these two kors had not pledged allegiance to Eluide, Eluide owns only 50% of the true power of the Hukbo of the home islands, Eluide thought.

“My punong.” Said one of the lesser officers in the room who was holding a phone putting on his one hand and pressing the "hold" button with his other.

“Sorry, I’m still getting used to this.” Eluide snapped out his thoughts realizing he was already the supreme commander of every force of the Bayan. “What is it colonel?”

“The commanders of the second and fifth kor, tenyente heneral Vargas and Dela Torre want to speak with you.”

"Both of them are on the line?"

"No, this one's just Tenyente Heneral Vargas my punong."

Eluide gave a half smile as he cracked his fists and took the phone.

“So the fools have finally showed up. It’s about time.” He then signaled for the kolonel to release the "hold" button.

“Good afternoon Heneral!” Eluide cheerily greeted before he pressed the "video" button of the fax machine, immediately Vargas showed up on screen and the call was now on loud speaker.

“Mabuhay!” Vargas greeted.

“Anything you want to say amidst this… change of government?” Said Meier.

“We won’t pressure him.” Whispered Eluide. “All oaths of allegiances in the new bayan must be made voluntary.”

Meier nodded quietly and turned back to Vargas. “Do you profess allegiance to our new punong? Si Mahal na presidente Domer Eluide?”

We only profess our allegiance to the rightful one true punong of the Philippine bayan.” Vargas replied with his head held up high. “His name is Adriano Timente.

“I figured as much." Eluide shook his head. "Did you know what happened in Yemen?”

Yes, Yemen got nuked by Al-Khaleej after a failed wedding happened there… How is this relevant to what’s happening?

“That will be the fate of all forces throughout the bayan who fail to pledge allegiance to me.” He said as Meier gave him a remote control like device which Eluide then held up for everyone in the room to see: it was the nuclear launch device used to activate the silos and other nuclear capable platforms of the bayan, except air based platforms which require the input of the pilots.

You’re not seriously planning to launch nuclear strikes within bayan soil aren’t you?

“I’ll give you 20 seconds to pledge allegiance to me or I will annihilate Bicol.” Everyone in the room suddenly widens their eyes. They didn't expect Eluide to escalate things himself this quick.

You’re a madman Eluide!” The Lieutenant Heneral protested.

“Is that how you speak to your new punong?” Meier questioned which only further annoyed the Lieutenant Heneral, who seemed to grit his teeth harder.

“20…19…18…” Eluide began counting down.

You’re definitely bluffing… I won’t take my chances!” Vargas said shaking his head.

“13…12…11…”

“You seriously think the Heneral who has won all our wars will be the one bluffing?” Meier reminded.

“5…4…3…”

STOP! WE SURRENDER!

“You’re wise.” Said Eluide. “Just for you to be sure… To show you I’m not bluffing.”

Eluide fiddled with his fingers for a bit before he pressed one of the red buttons that were labeled "launch", much to everyone's horror. Many in the room gasped and Vargas himself was clearly horrified. He struggled to form words for a few seconds in his shock. Many could not believe Eluide, the calm and logical Heneral, would dare do such a thing; to murder his own soldiers for the sake of power. Everyone around Eluide, Meier included, hoped that Eluide must be playing some elaborate trickery.

What did you do?!?

“Ask for a report on… The 2nd artillery regiment.” Meier shrugged.

“Ah oo… Do it…” Eluide seconded.

From behind the screen, Vargas could be seen conversing with one of his adjutants with barely audible whispers.

No one’s answering sir.

I need someone to give me a report on that artillery regiment right now!” Vargas barked.

Someone launch a tactical nuclear warhead… It was a Saigant. We can’t do a casualty report since the explosion is still ongoing. EMP effects might also be hindering communication gin’oo.Shit. Thought Meier. Apparently, Eluide means business. He was not bluffing in any way.

You are a madman Eluide!” Vargas said as he turned back to the screen sweating profusely.

“Is that how you talk to someone you’re surrendering to?” Eluide blankly questioned.

“At least now you know that the punong here does not bluff. What he says, he does.” Said Meier.

Vargas…” Eluide called out. “I’m going to need to you to speak with Dela Torre. If he refuses to surrender, I will glass your locations.”

Vargas pauses for a few seconds before he signals one of his adjutants to make the call. A minute passed before he turned back to the screen and sighed. “He surrenders… We both surrender…”

"That's great!" Meier said slapping his two palms together in a single clap of celebration.

“You’re fired. Arrest him.” Eluide commanded blankly. Behind the screen, the Lieutenant Heneral was quickly seized by his Adjutants, taking him away before returning to report to the High command that they were ready for his orders. Eluide then thanked them and moved on to Dela Torre, who was next in line.

“Dela Torre?”

Po Heneral?” The Lieutenant Heneral was clearly shaking but tried his best to keep his composure in the face of the official who just had his colleague sacked seconds ago.

“You’re fired too. Arrest him.” With this, Dela Torre was seized by his own Adjutants too before they also pledged their allegiances. Eluide then had the two kors set on live stream.

“Kolonels of the second and fifth kors.” Eluide stood up and declared. “Since your treacherous Henerals have been arrested for their war crimes… You are once again soldiers of the Hukbo… A Hukbo of a new Bayan, under me. While I pick new officers to succeed the ones you’ve lost, you will all answering directly to me.

“Any rebellion will be met with death." Eluide commanded making the officers behind the screen gulp. "If you follow me… I will lead you into a future where no longer shall we suffer the agony of war. It might not be the future that many of us would like… But it will be the future where you will see your children grow up undisturbed by the silence of peace.” The room was silent for a bit before Eluide broke it. “Will you join me in creating this peace?”

OPO HENERAL!” The men on the screen thundered. “Good! I demand your absolute obedience! Can I expect this from all of you?”

OPO HENERAL!” They replied in unison before the call was abruptly ended by Eluide.

Perfect.” The Heneral, now the new punong the bayan, stopped to think for a while and smiled. He then scanned the room around him. Full of officers loyal to him, his plan was bound to be successful. Eluide knows however, that this plan was not going to run so smooth that it shall be without trials.

“So what’s the briefing on the situation?” He asked.

“All the troops throughout the Homeland are loyal to you my punong.” One of the lesser officers replied.

“The Hukbo more specifically.” Meier, who was leaning with his back against the wall, clarified.

Eluide raises his brow at the realization that he had only controlled one of the many uniformed services of the bayan. “Just the Hukbo? What about the KK? The Agpalo?”

The lesser officers paused to discuss the situation for a bit before reporting back to their new punong. “Communication is still being established with them.”

“As expected, they shall be our greatest enemies in this campaign.” Eluide smirked. “Any signs of Kabil? Of Sebastian? Of Basanes? Of Panganiban?”

“None Heneral.”

“Understandable. It’s pretty obvious they are the ones leading this counter coup.” Meier said.

Eluide stood once again and commanded. “Find them… Do not let these four escape your sights once you’ve find them.” He pounded his fist on the tabletop. “We need these three dead or alive.

OPO AMING PUNONG!” The entire room thundered in unison before Eluide signaled everyone to dismiss themselves. Everyone in the room quickly left the office. Eluide meanwhile sat to stay. Meier, before he left, took notice of the worried look in Eluide's face. He decided to close the door and stay to discuss whatever was bothering him.

“What are you doing?” Meier sat.

“Meier, this shall be my greatest test.” Eluide said as he turn to the fax machine to his right. “Take command for me. You are now chief of staff of the Hukbo.”

“Goodluck with Ishikawa.” Meier said, as he reached out a fist which Eluide replied by bumping his own fist back. Meier then left Eluide by himself in the room as he then moves to another command office that was for the chief of staff alone.

Meier meanwhile, while being escorted by his entourage to his office as the new chief of staff, had to pass by the several malls throughout the New Hall where the majority of the General staff corps were waiting to be inspected. These were commanders from all over the home archipelago which were the first to answer to Eluide's plans to overthrow the Asigna party. The General Staff call stood shoulder to shoulder with each other at the long walk way in the New hall's courtyard all giving their standard military salutes to the new chief of staff before shaking his hand. One by one, the Heneral gave their reports saying that the Asigna party officials within the area of their operations were arrested and taken away. At times he would hear reports of KK commanders switching sides to join them but they were rare as most of the time, the KK commanders had disappeared along with the rest of their forces for some reason they were yet to know.

After shaking hands with the last of the Henerals, he then proceeded to his own command center; an underground basketball court that was re-purposed into a command center complete with air-conditioning, widescreens and technicians who relayed information from the different units throughout the bayan into the Meier for evaluation. The center of the court lay a flat makeshift holographic projector that showed the 3d dimensional composite map of the Philippines taken via RORSAT and information circulating in the guardian system. After inspecting that everything was in shape in the room, a slight tremor began to shake everything before the tremor turn into a violent jolt that send a lot of objects such as books, files, computers, laptops and other movable devices displaced and scattered around. The entire entourage, staff and Meier himself collapsed to the ground because of this jolt which was accompanied by a thunderous crack that sent vibrations rolling into their very core. The power temporarily went out before backup generators immediately went online.

Meier, after regaining composure, was quick to recognize the incident as an explosion. The first thing that came into mind was whether or not casualties happened and if another accident involving ammunition occurred at a nearby depot.

“What is happened?” The Heneral demanded as the staff composed themselves and quickly went back to their places. They immediately proceeded to rearrange the computers and connected them back on.

“NUCLEAR ERUPTIONS DETECTED IN 17 SITES THROUGHOUT THE BAYAN HENERAL!” One of the staff declared.

“Tactical nuclear strikes?” Meier went pale at the thought; the KK might be using nukes against them. It was still too early to judge though.

“No Heneral, the explosions are subterranean. We’ve detected the epicenters to be exactly where the underground nuclear reactors are.”

The projection of the Philippine map once again returned and marks appeared on the supposed sites of the explosions. Meier, immediately recognized the positions as the locations of the 17 subterranean nuclear reactors of the bayan.

“The Duterte line…” Meier hissed as he knew the 17 sites were only accessible via that network. “Who is initiating this?”

“Unknown… We are still trying to establish communication with the subterranean personnel.”

The Heneral then mused. The only way explosions of that calibre could be initiated is when those sites were self destructed deliberately. Accidents were not a possibility since there were elaborate processes created to prevent security breaches via hacking or terrorism. The only way this could have happened was when the forces involved in protecting those sites were also the ones responsible for initiating the sequence themselves.

“The KK make up the subterranean force.” Meier said knowing the KK must be the one responsible for this unauthorized self destruct operation as they were the only ones who were massively in charge of this network. As to why they did this, he could not come to an explanation. He thought some more before his expression brightened as he came up to a realization. “Of course, they are trying to block the entrances so claim dominion over all of the Duterte lines.”

Meier then turned to the staff that was connected to logistics. “Do we have any troops with the railway lines?”

“Yes Heneral, but we’re receiving incoming reports about tunnels being blocked away.”

Marks then appeared throughout the holographic map. This time, showing the available units closest to the Duterte line access point. “The KK accesses?”

“Still no reply Heneral.”

“We may be facing a widescale KK rebellion.” Meier said shaking his head. He could feel his head starting to ache as he has to deal with his first test as thechief of staff of the Hukbo.

“We’re receiving incoming transmission Heneral.”

“Is this radio?”

“No. It’s wire Heneral.”

Meier then gave a nod of approval for the transmission to be projected on the hologram. The video transmission was being projected on the horizontal sides of the holographic cube. Suddenly, a familiar face was flashing on the screens.

Image
Faye Kabil
It was the interior ministress, Faye Kabil.

Heneral Eluide. You traitor.” Said an angry looking Kabil who wore the same uniform she was always seen wearing.

“Kabil...” Meier looked quite amused that the interior ministress finally decided to show up after being invisible from the public for so long.

You may have deposed Adriano Timente, the rightful punong and have him under your arrest. That makes his interior ministress, Faye Kabil, me, the rightful punong of the Greater Philippine Bayan.

Many of the staff stopped at their work stations to watch the transmission of the long lost interior ministress. All were quite amused that this woman was claiming to be the rightful leader of them all.

As my first General Order as punong… I declare war on the usurpers who seized the power from a duly elected government. Everyone who stands with the Filipino way… join us in keeping our independence, everyone who is against these traitors, foreign agents, you have our protection…

Meier shook his head. “How is she gonna protect them?” He then turned to one of the staff in charge of communications. “Can we trace the source of this signal by wire?”

“Only the Kalihiman has control over the comprehensive wire networks my Heneral.” One of the staff hesitated.

“...And that office is under the control of the interior ministry.” Meier sighed realizing that even after all their work, they are still virtually handicapped on so many respects as a government.

“We have an incoming call Heneral…” One of the staff declared as the transmission on the screen was interrupted by a "call screen" that showed choices whether or not to accept the call or decline. Meier signaled the call to be accepted as a video call.

A dark poorly lit and grainy video of Kabil then showed up on the screen. It was too dark for anyone to make up since her background showed up as pitch flag. Only her face and upper torso was lit enough to be recognizable. From what they were seeing, everyone knew Kabil was just using some kind of flashlight, most like from her phone, to light herself which was convenient if she was determined to hide her position.

“Kabil…” Meier greeted with a smile.

Meier… Heneral. Where is Eluide?

“He’s… busy…”

Collaborating with the enemy?

“Stand down Kabil, we don’t want to fight.”

I wonder what offer Nifon has given the lot of you for you to turn your backs on the bayan’s independence.

“We’re doing this for the good of the people.”

Hah! What a reason!” The young interior ministress spat on her side. “You disgust me.

“We have control over all the nuclear weapons of the bayan, tactical and high yield.”

Are you going to turn them against us?” Kabil tilted her head, looking quite amused. “Are you seriously going to threaten to use our most powerful arsenal against the people you’ve sworn to protect? Why not turn them against our real enemies instead?

“The Bayan cannot have peace while the Asigna party remains in power.” Meier lectured. “You’ve damaged our reputation so much to the world no one would be willing to make a single deal with us anymore. You’ve turn our country into a pariah state.”

Timente is right about one thing. You are good at your bluffs… but you are too scared to actually do them. It’s not in your character.

"What?"

"I heard reports about Eluide bluffing his way to get what he wants. He never used those nukes, he just simply cut off communication by jamming the 2nd kor's artillery units. The man is too weak to hurt anyone."

Meier felt himself sighing softly out of relief but at the same time, he was feeling frustrated they were running out of options since Eluide was apparently just bluffing and it was clear that due to his morals, he would never allow Meier to use the Hukbo in a brutal fashion to root out the KK amongst the civilian population. At least his colleague didn't kill anyone.

“You’re right, we may not have the will to use nuclear weapons but we still have the superior numbers.”

You’re expecting to battle conventional forces?” The young woman started to chuckle while shaking her head. “Hah! Bobo! You’re pathetic. Putang ina kayong lahat. We will make you and your Nifonese masters bleed.” With this, the video abruptly ends.

Meier then took a few minutes of breathing to process everything he had just heard. The KK and the remnants of the former government are in open rebellion against them and Eluide is apparently too soft to use brutal options against his enemies. “Let’s all take that as a threat to use guerilla warfare against us. Stand your guard against such attacks.” He ordered.

“Yes Heneral.” Said one of the staff who went on his work before hesitantly turning back to the Heneral and stating.

“We got one more problem Heneral.” He said with his eyes to his side as if avoiding eye contact with Meier.

“What is it this time?” Meier groaned.

“Incoming transmission from Bulacan.”

The Heneral sighed as he signaled the transmission to go on screen. He expected this to be another one of Kabil's taunts but instead of the young woman or any other recognizable officer from the KK, it was a masked man wearing white featureless robes flanked by other men in his side and several others behind him who don the same costume as him.

The One true church of Iglesia ni Cristo does not recognize this foreign evil that is coming to our lands. Eluide is an apostate. Eluide is a communist, he cannot speak for the Filipino people…

Oh great. Meier thought. Iglesia ni Cristo, who making up more than 20 percent of the country's population as the country's second largest Christian church, is now in open rebellion against them.

“Anymore?” Meier groaned.

“No more Heneral.” Replied the staff who quickly went back to work.

“Ayyyy naku naman….” Meier sat at his chair to think of their next plan.

Meanwhile under the surface

Greatest heavens, light the way
Guide me through the darkest fray
Do permit that truth will always
Find me through my days
Me a servant of divine will
With your glory I shall heel
Your command is then my purpose
Love all til my close

A woman hummed this poem musically through the tunnels while no one was still around. She scaled the darkness of the structure armed only with her night vision goggles for sight and detection. It was too risky for her to use any kind of electromagnetic device since she may be detected by her more advanced enemies.

Meanwhile, at the submarine pens, Sears and his team were cleared to scale the dock facility in which they would see the other bayan submarines parked beside them. However, they would have to make way through all the corpses they had created with their counter attack. With the desolateness of the facility, it would seem that 40 was more than enough for anyone to take since they didn't seem to have any enemies in site that would give them a serious fight. The team would have to climb a few sets of ladders before they reach a higher platform that was made of concrete. The platform was as big as wide as a highway as it seemed to be at least 30 meters in diameter. There doesn't seem to be anything on the platform but a bunch of wooden crates stuck against a wall. Some just placed alone on the ground while some where stacked enough to form a wall. The crates were labeled "rations".

The "edge of the room", which was a fall that seemed to go as high as a hundred more meters before it reaches the ceiling, would be found if they walk 50 meters away from the edge of the platform facing the water. At one end, there was a wide opening at the wall that seemed to act like a gate. It was big enough for 2 vehicles to go through with it side by side while still having allowance of space with each other for infantry.

There was a much smaller gate at the other end that seemed to only fit people. That gate, unlike the first one, will have a metallic door that didn't appear to have a lock. It seemed that the door could be opened when one was to pull it. Of the two doors, the smaller one was closer as opposed to the other one.

Once the team climbs unto the platform, an alarm will honk through the speakers causing a red light to flash on and off. Rounds of infantry vehicles and APCs will suddenly come pouring through the larger door forming a wall of four vehicles the blocked the first door. A much larger team, a company, was coming to face this group and they have high powered weapons such as RPGs, SMGs, mortars and Bullpup rifles.

Submarine pens

They moved around on the platform "slicing the pie" and hiding behind the crates for protection, opening with short controlled bursts. However Sears thought up a different idea. "Guys we should surrender." he smiled, Abel looked at him "Greg, what the hell? Are you crazy?" Sears smiled "No use in fighting battle we can't win." Sears winked and raised a white flag. All of this was part of a clever plan to try and get the enemy troops to escort them deeper inside. Sears knew that the facility had to have some sort of holding block deeper in.

Dr. Hamamoto walked into the hospital where Inga laid unconscious, the arrogant girl had attempted to go up against powers beyond her comprehension in the flesh and this ended up costing her own mind. Inga laid down on the white hospital bed in an emotional coma the result of her own arrogance and pride-the very first sin that caused all to fall! Hamamoto sat down reading a Bible allowed to the comatose Inga "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Dr. Hamamoto walked out as the second in command of Bronze Serpent walked in to see Inga next. It was none other then Johnathan Baker "Inga listen I know you deceived us, that you were a triple agent and that the whole story of Sears being your dad was a lie. However I know you were always on our side. If its one thing I know is true it is that you fought against Redshield and most valiantly." tears began to draw from his face. "But you cannot let your past drown you out, you need to wake up, wake up now!" he shouted, as Inga did not respond. Baker was lamenting and had repented of his own mistakes in sending Inga out against the Seraphim Principality that had managed to break Inga down with a psychic attack a being that could not be fought in the flesh!

"Inga, I apologize I had no idea what that thing was, it was my fault entirely and you had no idea what that thing was yet I am the one who sent you out there. I am almost as guilty as whoever betrayed us." Baker fell to his knees, he had an epiphany light appeared around him a thought came into his head "Judith, Judith Chamoun she was the one....the one who gave out our location! Damn it, damn it I should have realized this the entire time. That Jezebel, that bitch is the one who sold us out. Inga was not, Inga was innocent and deceived, proud and haughty but she was beguiled It was Judith who destroyed RavenSword!"

Dr. Kaji Hamamoto sat down in front of his boss the Diamond Duke, "So Inga was your daughter the whole time? Not Sears?" The Duke responded "Yes, it was all part of a plan, my daughter barely knew me yet found herself the asset of Nifonese intelligence." the entire tale of intrigue and deceit had pondered the doctor. Dr. Hamamoto was a world renowned biologist and geneticist from Nifon, and also an expert in cures and in biological weapons.

Dr. Kaji said "Surely this must be coincidence?" the Duke scoffed "Ha! It was not coincidence, it was all planned I myself was involved and so was Inga we conspired together, but the outcome was not planned. I think it was divine providence we were able to stop them from releasing the bio-weapon. I even think it was divine providence we met you Dr. Kaji. You must look at your life through heaven's eyes, and not through your own."

Those words hit the Doctor hard as he had never thought of the possibility of divine providence yet it was looking him straight in the face, just as he learned when he was a child. The ancient secrets of the ancient of days, the Most High God who has dominion over all!

"Do you think it was a coincidence that managed to find this secret underworld? The Seraphim, the freaks, how do you explain it all?" the Duke asked.

"The Doctor said "Truly more must exist then just this reality, a reality beyond what we see exists more real then our own."

When one looked at the Lord of the Greater Nifon, it's supreme pastor and leader, doubt was the last thing that came to be expected from such a powerful figure. Yet doubt was what exactly filled head of Shogun Kojiro at this very moment as he gazed into the snow covered peak of Moriya-yama dominating the lush forests outside the window.

Shogun Kojiro was, for all his mix of brutality and benevolence, an experienced and talented politician who fully understood implications of all the chaos currently happening in the world. Up until that point, one of major goals of the foreign policy of the Empire of Greater Nifon was containment of the Philipine Bayan of Asigna. Indeed, the policy of containment worked rightfully. Up until the growing Nifonese pressure on the Filipino Bayan had devastated the country so completely that it couldn't rise itself on it's knees any more. Four major wars lost, one of greatest earthquakes in this century, Nifonese currency attacks and growing debts made the word "political stability" of the Filipino Bayan all but unknown. With multitude of ethnicites and cultures, it was only a matter of time when some group will attempt to take an advantage of weakening of the Asigna Party's government to seize power for themselves.

The breakdown of the established political system in that region did not, contrary to what many would have thought, peace. On the contrary, meltdown of the Filipino Bayan meant that entirely new challenges were about to arise. A new order was about to emerge in the South, and it was going to be Kojiro's duty to realize Nifonese national interests. While not being directly interested in establishing a massive empire and ruling the world, Maki did realize that events in the former Bayan will drag Nifon in weather he wants it, or not. First, the growing power of the Empire of Greater Nifon meant that some of the other major powers may be concerned about rise of a dangerous rival, one that while new, already proven itself to be capable of taking on the well established players. Second, the meltdown of the Bayan created a massive power vacuum, one in which anyone having a resources could have stepped - a vacuum that had not just plenty of valuable military equipment, but also plenty of WMDs for an eventual terror group to loot. Third issue was making sure that Nifon will benefit the most on this fall in economic sphere... It did not took all of the Gunpeitai's mighty intelligence apparatus to notice what was happening in the Bayan. Panic posts on social media were telling more than enough. Chaos. Ruin. All that Kojiro needed to reforge the Bayan as he seen it.

And it was exactly this issue that disturbed Maki the most. Inside the Shogun's soul, his personal ambition did battle against almost model benevolence of a Confucian ruler. Over twenty years ago, in a may night, Kojiro listened to the more ambitious part of himself, utilizing an opportunity and stepping into the world of politics. He walked among the fleshes and thrones ever since... and deep inside him, it still lingered, waiting for another chance to erupt. Against it fought his desire to actually help his people. For despite the aura of invincibility Nifonese media created around him, Maki was just a man.

The topic of Asigna dominated his thoughts as he realized that he was going to need to recruit the locals to manage the situation on the ground. Thus, Asigna will be given one last chance to repent of it's past mistakes. It will be up to the people of the Bayan - who made the disgusting decisions to follow their wicked leaders - to either accept that chance, or perish with it. One way or another, a great change was coming to the Bayan.

Passing the majestic sight of Mount Moriya, where once a boy named Ushiwaka ascended, and descended as Murakami no Kenshin to bring fire and steel to the enemies of The Heavenly Lord, Kojiro lifted up the phone and dialed a number he had known all too well. During the multiple crisis between the Bayan and the Empire of Greater Nifon, a line was established between the office of the Punong and the Shogun. Kojiro lifted it up and dialed, hoping that the office was intact enough for someone to pick up and inform him of whoever was in charge in the Bayan.

After all, not a perfect solution, but one worth a try.

Songpa hostel
Outskirts of Heiwa | Kirishima

Silence, that was all that could be heard in the room after Akari dropped the bombshell about her identity. The aesthetics 因違ね of the room was definitely to her liking especially the blue light which was a staple of Kirishinan nightlife like red light would be in other nations. Akari who was ready to knock out Rosa or at the very least slap her for standing her up in the Philippines was practically putty. Akari had only seen professional pictures of the Bayan foreign mistress but seeing Rosa in both causal wear and in a dress had certainly soften Akari's view of her. Instead of vengeance she was seriously thinking about hooking up with Rosa at some point.

"I wonder how she would look in a Yukata or Kirishinan Cheongsam...wait what's that smell?" Akari thought as she was prevented from indulging her emerging fantasies anymore than she already was. Of course Rosa's breath wasn't optimal considering her living conditions and even with all the preparations that was done, it wasn't surprising that oral hygiene was neglected. Nevertheless the close proximity made the breath noticeable but also made Akari all the more self-aware as to how Rosa was still silent. Akari contemplated calling out Rosa's name to shake her out what Akari now believed was a trance when Rosa finally spoke.

“Putang ina…”

Akari's eyes narrowed at this and she fully returned to being focused. "You got to be kidding me right, I just told her that I am with CP 9, didn't she come to Kirishima to speak with us in the first place-" Akari cut her own thoughts as she detected movement from the previously stoic Rosa as she clenched her fist and attempted to strike Akari in the face. Akari subconsciously smirked as it seemed that she could still attack Rosa after all. With Rosa's pathetic punch incoming, Akari simply parried it before delivering a punch of her own to Rosa's solar plexus to knock the wind out of her. Akari then stood up so that she could stretch, calm down and create separation between her and Rosa.

"Well that was very mean Rosa" Akari stated without any honorifics, "I could've gotten hurt when all I did was come to liberate you from this dump." Akari added with a sigh when her phone vibrated.

"Hello?"

"Wait why are you-"

"What a coup!?"

"....I see, copy"

Akari hang up the phone looking back at Rosa as she was recovering from the punch. "So Rosa-san it seems that one there is a coup going on in your homeland, two we don't know if your in danger but your safety is my mission and I don't know about you but this does not look like a safe place." Akari stated with a sympathetic smile.

A Few Minutes before the Call

CP 9 Headquaters
Kunugi| ≈15 km from Heiwa | Kirishima

There was some silence as two of the three most powerful women in the country sat practically ignoring each other. One was the wife of the Sous-Premier and head of the Heonbyeongdae Kyouko Naegi and the other was former domestic terrorist and current head of Cipher Pol 9 head under a different name Junko Otonashi. The two women did not really trust each other especially since Otonashi once nearly killed Kyouko and her husband years prior nor ever apologized. They were both awaiting word from their respective agents when there was a knock on the door.

"Enter" Junko stated nonchalantly

A man in his late 30's named Eijun Sawamoto entered the room, "My apologizes for the interruption Junko-sama!" The man stated with a bow with the sama honorific earning a raised eyebrow from Kyouko but nothing else.

"Well what is so important that you had to rush in here right now?" Junko asked

"It seems a Coup is underway in the Philippines and that the Punong, Adriano Timente has been disposed!"

"What!? By who!?" Junko asked.

"The Hakubo but it seems that the rest of the government has not conceded." Sawamoto responded.

"Rosa" Kyouko stated simply. "We don't know if an outside power is involved or if any of the Bayan factions consider Rivera-san as a political rival or threat." Naegi added.

Junko seemed lost in thought before passing her phone over to Kyouko.

"What's this for?" Kyouko asked

"Use it to contact Yukimura-san" Junko replied nonchalantly

"Isn't she your subordinate, why should I be the one giving her orders?" Kyouko asked confused.

Junko just chuckled to herself as if the answer was so obvious. "Silly Naegi-san, obviously I will be heading out to inform the Dirigeant about the situation." Junko answered.

Kyouko was still confused but did not have time to waste on a pointless back in forth that she would ultimately lose unless she actively restricted Junko's movements.

"Very well, I'll make the call" Kyouko stated with a sigh

Mahora University
Mahora Academy| Northern Heiwa | Kirishima

Located north of Heiwa lies the prestigious Mahora Academy, it's a massive academy that ranges from Elementary to University and makes up the neighborhood known as Mahora. Many influential alumni have come out of the University and it currently boasts two former world leaders under it's staff. The first being Negi Springfield son of the late PM Nagi Springfield and first Dirigeant of the now non existant H.E.S.L Coalition Party, the second being Natayla Saiko, the former Premier of Guadalupador.

Currently at the Nagi Springfield Hall at Mahora University is a forum on leadership, the tough decisions that arises in government, and the importance of civility as a defense against extreme partisanship. Invited to the forum were all the Dirigeant's of Kirishima which was possible due to the youth of Kirishinan democracy. Which meant Shinzou Motoi, Kenjiro Morita, Saki Rukino, Francois Drake, Negi Springfield, Satsuki Kiryuin and Arata Kasuga were all in attendance. Also on the panel and chairing the discussion was former Dorian PM and professor Natayla Saiko.

There was about a half hour before the event started and Kasuga was getting advice from Rukino as she was from the same traditionalist mindset as he was when Natayla Saiko walked in.

"Ah there is Saiko-san, can we continue this later?" Arata asked.

"Fufu, not a problem. I'll make sure to send some ideas I never got to implement. Until you came along with the Prostitution Referendum, I never thought there would be a Dirigeant like me focus on restoring our identity." Saki stated with an affectionate smile.

"Don't say that, sure I may have created the Jeontongdang but your time in office inspired me and others like me. So thank you, I look forward to some of your ideas." Arata stated before heading over to Saiko who was speaking with Kiryuin.

"Bonjour Madame Saiko à toi aussi Madame Kiryuin" (Bold equals French) Arata greeted the two women in French as Saiko has become fluent in it but not so much with the Japanese.

"Hello Dirigeant" Saiko smiled with a bow.

The relationship between the two has taken a hit recently ever since the trade deal with Cuscatlan and Saiko openly criticizing SACTO in talks with Dorians and Kirishinans. With that said Kasuga welcomes the differing opinion and understands where Saiko is coming from. Saiko understands Kasuga goals whilst disagreeing with the idea and appreciates that unlike in many other SACTO nations there is the freedom to say what you want without a band of 'vigilantes' attacking you for saying something the leader didn't like. In fact Kasuga didn't just tolerated, he embraces it. To the outside viewer Kasuga-Saiko exemplifies where politics should be.

"What have you been up to lately?" Arata asked.

"I've been meeting with Dorian community and diaspora leaders to help the ones that intend on staying in Kirishima transition. I want to use my experience to help others." Natayla stated with more vigor than she had when she first came to Kirishima which made both Satsuki and Arata smile.

At that moment Hisako walked into the room with a quick pace towards Arata.

"Diri-....A-A-Arata-san, I am sorry for interrupting but there is something that needs your attention. Otonashi-san is here for you" Hisako stated after struggling to follow Kasuga's wishes of being on a first name basis.

"Junko? Can't she wait?" Arata asked

"No sir, it's regional security related." Hisako responded

Arata turned back to Satsuki and Natayla. "Excuse me, I have an important matter to attend to. It shouldn't take too long...delay the panel if I'm not back in 20 minutes. Oh and Saiko remember the Federal Palace is always open to you if you want to talk, debate, catch up, etc." Arata stated before heading out.

.....

"Junko what brings you here?" Arata asked

"Do I need a reason to see my Darling?" Junko replied before seeing Kasuga's frown. "Whatever not the time for play around, I did say it was urgent. There was a coup in the Philippines earlier, Adriano Timente was ousted by the Hakubo. Heneral Eluide has taken the title of Punong, BUT before you say anything, they do not have full control of the government or country and succession order dictates that Faye Kabil is Punong." Junko added.

"A potential civil war in the Pacific with a hungry SACTO ready to carve up the bayan, either Eluide is a fool or is trying to surrender the country." Hisako thought out loud.

"It's still early, why am I getting developing intel this early?" Arata asked.

"Because there is a group making a play for Rosa Rivera and we have no idea if they are Hakubo, KK, SACTO, etc. It's currently going on and I felt you needed to be aware and given the option to make an order or send a message diplomatically." Junko responded.

"First I don't want to tip any one off or make a false accusation. Second of all I don't care who is making the play, all I want is for Rivera-san to be extracted in one piece in our custody whatever the cost. I would like as much apprehensions as possible but Rivera's safety is the first overriding priority." Kasuga stated firmly.

"Yes sir!" Junko stated as Kasuga left the room.

........

"Who do you think is behind this?" Hisako asked.

"I don't know and at this time I don't care. Rosa Rivera came here to be safe and even though she should've came to us first, by Kamiya's grace, we will save her." Arata replied firmly.

Mabuhay!

On this day, November 30, 20XX i hereby make my first order of business which will determine the new leadership positions of the bayan's Hukbo, the Philippine Asigna fighter forces.

Bayan minister of war: Ermund Panganiban
Chief of staff: Heneral Akasya Sebastian PAFF
Comanding Heneral Hukbo: Letnan Heneral Avenida Lacaslasantos PAFF
Commanding Heneral Racoa: Letnan Heneral Alfedro Kabil PAFF
Commanding Heneral: Letnan Heneral Atariel Lapeña PAFF
Gobernador Heneral Kanlurang sektor: Brigadier Heneral Xavier Davis

Let it also be known that our nation shall never surrender to the foreign S-CTO hordes. We shall fight until we are killed and let no one stand in our way of this endeavor. All traitors or defeatists who do not stand by our cause shall have their citizenship rescinded by the authority of this one true legitimate government of the Bayan.

Our cause of National Progressivism has taken a new turn for it shall not be a mere political ideology that stands to defend itself against reactionaries seeking to reverse humanity's progress, rather, we are also the vanguard of light over darkness for the liberation of the human soul under the front of the Church of the Holy truth. This new position of enlightenment shall seek the liberation of our global Atman in order to maintain our march into the future as one species.

The Judeo-Christian Zionist hordes of S-CTO are nothing but Rothschild funded shams which seek to dominate over the Earth with their boot of darkness and reactionaryism. We will stand against this insidious evil everywhere it is found and to the best of our ability. For with wvery defeat is a step forward into final victory, we must never take steps back in our quest no matter what the cost may be.

We must take responsibility as one movement and soul in order to address the truth of our insignificance. All fantasies of self importance shall compare as nothing besides our truest and noble universal goal of liberation and progress.

The Gods await us in our quest, let all those who lead us astray be smite down. Heaven is with us. Once those half hearted ones amongst our flock have been uprooted by both our movement and our enemies, we shall be ready to face them as a smaller yet more united and more cunning battle group.

I may die but i acknowledge the fact that i am nothing but the Avatar of a heavenly idea which is progress backed by the Universal spirit of the higher dimension. I will live on one way or another.

Our allies outside our realm await us to join them. Make no mistake for cause transcends the state of our organization as a nation. We are a temperament that exists in righteous souls wherever they may be. There is no need for propagation of our ideals for our ideals are timeless and inherent in the human Atman. We are the embodiment of the universal desire to achieve Moksha to escape this prison known as the world which the Judeo Christianist hordes seek to imprison us within.

Fight on and victory shall be in sight.

MABUHAY!
