Biography: Born into the centuries old Noble Castleton family, Lord Phineas was brought up as a country gentlemen. Due to his upbringing away from the concentrated and competitive city of Reichland, very little was expected of the young Lord when at the age of 12, his father died and left the estate and title of Baron of Wellstone to Lord Phineas. Shortly after his fathers death, Lord Phineas was taken to Court and pledged allegience to Emperor Reigner II; after this he remained at court and showed remarkable alacrity for a boy his age. Perhaps his competence and ambitions within court are why he was granted the honour of representing Vaktaria at the Regional Parliament of Atlas at the age of 20, where he served for 8 illustrious years before a scandal about a supposed love affair caused the Lord to resign from his position and return to his estate where he remained far from the public eye until a recent visit to Court in Reichland during which he was again granted a great honour to represent Vaktaria's interests at the International Senate if the nations application was to be accepted.

Biography: Joan was born to George Ormundt in the small rural town of Harvey's Rift in Northwest Smaze. She grew up as a privileged girl, and visited the the royal university of Kensington for her higher education. She studied law, and decided to become a civil servant, to aid the country that gave her the privilege. She served the state in many controversial lawsuits, including the famous MacCallow v. Percetti, which she voted against.

She got married to John C. Leareggar, a progressive politician, in 2012, but her marriage eventually failed in 2016. She decided to keep his name and was from that point on address as "JOL", as her name was rather long and difficult to pronounce. She eventually decided to go into politics as she began to become more and more famous as a lawyer. In 2016, she ran for a seat in the nation's parliament by joining the Country party. She eventually won her seat, and she had an important role in forging the Country party / national union coalition. This coalition government appointed her to the international senate, to expand the influence of her nation.

Inter-alliance wars are possible, I just never though someone would want to do one. It is also an option to drop out of the ISDA.

I don't necessary see this as an alliance, and I think both can be utilised to ensure happiness for people in my country.

Yes, I agree. The ISDA is taking much more time and space than I thought it would. We need to get the IS discussing important issues and bills once more. I can create the thread for the ISDA, but since I am not in the alliance I would recommend that the creator of the bill or the executive head make it.

The IS has been pretty slow lately. I want to start debating bills again, but we can't do that until a new speaker is elected. If no other candidates for speaker of the house are produced in the next two days, the position will go to the second senator of Allyrije.

Yes and no. The speaker can only vote on a bill when it is a tied vote, otherwise he is just to monitor the voting.
