You can do it whenever you want, but it would probably be better to do it after the voting. I will be closing the sessions today. I also agree with Allyrije, I believe presidents should only have two votes without executive orders.

I am wanting to have Jacob Haas resign as speaker of the senate to become a normal senator, but I would need someone to take his place. Preferably not a nation that currently has two senators unless they would propose one of the two to be the speaker of the senate. If interested, please respond to this post saying who is running for the speaker position and we will have a poll to choose between the candidates. The responisbilities include opening sessions, calling for official voteson bills, acknowledging political parties, and closing sessions (examples of how to do all these things are in the IC). They will also have the ability to cast a tie breaking vote if the votes are tied on a bill. If no one is interested, Jacob Haas will continue to be speaker of the senate.

The Jaeger Premiership also needed to bring the youth into high-ranking positions, if they were qualified enough to handle it. Jaeger decided that Marshall-Bakker should get the job as Senator. Marshall-Bakker accepted and resigned from his post as MP. And so, Krenorus applied.

You have still not added an ideology, but after reading through your application I take it your senator is fairly conservative (correct me if I am wrong). When a Congress or Parliament has a very rough equal amount it does make it harder to pass bills irl. However alot of times incentives are given to senators, ie vote for my bill and i will throw my support behind yours etc.
