A history of a reactionary Catholic Monarchy surrounded by democracies, communist dictatorships and Islamist theocracies hasn't been easy. Thus, the government has entrusted Benito to open relations with foreign nations that may be capable of having a good relation with Spain. Thus, it's his mission to find a nation that has the same goal as Spain: Unity and Survival.

Angel heard the Spanish diplomats introduction. This man would be an easier fellow to talk to he thought, being Devonta and the Catholic Monarchy had just recently established relations. Angel walked over to the delegate and reached out his hand so it could be shook.

"Hello Mr. Godoy, my name is Angel Powers of Devonta. I currently serve as Devonta's Senior Foreign Policy adviser to our president. It's wonderful to finally meet with another delegate of your're monarchy. I had the honor of helping the Devontan State Department felicitate the opening of your're embassy in Devonta City. How was your trip here, sir?"

"Parfuhmerie certainly has something to offer," Ka'tyu said, his expression neutral, "Although there's also the matter that — as I'm sure you know — we're mostly called demons because that's what we literally are. During diplomatic gatherings like this, I much prefer lying in wait. If someone approaches me, it shows that they aren't afraid of the unknown." He paused for a moment, listening to what the Spanish delegate said. "Hmm, another religious nation..." he said, his eyes looking slightly to the side of Benito as though he was trying not to look suspicious. If his backstory was true, his cautious, observant nature was probably a remnant of a bygone life of espionage, although it certainly benefit him in his life as a diplomat since he could accurately scrutinize potential foes & allies if he was given more detail about them.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kandi Sandi quietly entered the room and took a seat, ready to talk to anyone wanting to do any formal buisness. Meanwhile, after his speech Vince was also walking around the room looking for who to talk to first, when he found Sayuri doing the same thing. He went up to Sayuri and then paused, wondering if they were going to start a conversation or if he would.

Sayuri then see the host of the event the regent vince comming to her.

And I guess when I mean Alaska, I mean the southernmost part, where Sitka is. I haven't been to a lot of the rest of it. We're at least a hundred years behind you guys, so travel in such an isolated place isn't so easy.

Heck, maybe we should have a race!" Cheonsa spoke with excitement, sparks showing in his eyes, displaying how eccentric he is. He doesn't care. He had dealt with judgemental people all his life. He was unique and he loved being himself.

Our Defense secretary Chuck Bengal still awaits a reply. Do you have one?" Angel paused to build suspense. "The Devontan government is willing to spend allot and I promise we present little threat."

Angel began, "Well a few weeks ago the Devontan Department of Defense sent an offer to your're nations government regarding a submarine base we want to set up. Our Defense secretary Chuck Bengal still awaits a reply. Do you have one?" Angel paused to build suspense. "The Devontan government is willing to spend allot and I promise we present little threat."

"..." He went quiet for a moment. He knew the Submarine bases weren't his matter, but it was more of the military. Should he let the fellow delegate know that that's not his job? Sure. "I'm sorry, I was talking about the event and the topics on it. The submarine bases and anything else regarding isn't exactly the job I do. Cheers." He hoped that he could avoid fucking it up by just dismissing the offer at that moment, and letting the rest of the government do the decision later, instead.

"People have actually been to the moon already in my world. Back in 1872 some Americans went to Nassau and built a huge cannon to launch a capsule. I think in some other universes Jules Verne wrote a novel very similar to what happened."

His eyes lit up at the thought of a race.

"Yes! That would be awesome! You see, the more I focus the faster I can fly. I haven't been able to have a proper race yet since there's so few ghosts around. The closest I've gotten is racing airships. That sometimes makes the captains annoyed, but that's where invisibility comes in handy."

Marty liked being unique too; he had always taken pride in being one of the few kitsune in Alaska, and he had learned to take being a ghost in stride as well.

Just remember that not all religions are the same it's really the ones of the Judaeo-Christian origins you gotta watch out for. Or at least the more extreme ones out there.
