It was a nice exchange but more like a press quote than an actual talk but there were many here so there were just as many she and Pacifica had to talk with. In the meantime she would find whoever next.

After the talk with Ms.Pacifica went well but feeling that it could be a little better Sayuri decided to seat and take a coffe meanwhile she read the news of what is happening in home and after that she decided to contact the ambassador Jessica Dileva the representative of Mervay in AHSCA and give her the instructions of prepare the trade proposal and the cultural proposal,after that she decided to walk a little and see if she can talk with another representant or foreign leader.

Some of the leaders and other people attending had been waiting quite a while now, and as a good few had arrived and no-one else was in the process of doing so, Vince had decided to formally kick off the meeting with him opening this. After the final preparation were made, the lights in the chambers dimmed except for the region where Vince would shortly be entering the room and speaking his opening.
No explicit instruction to be quiet was given, but the dimming of the lights was a fairly overt signal and all the talking and conversations turned to hushing and the total silence in the room as they waited for their host to appear.

Then, on a raised area of seating the shadow of a person could be seen, taking a slow-paced walk towards the area that was lit up. When they arrived, it was revealed to be Regent Vince, the formal host of the conference and the NMK's de facto head of state and government. He had prepared a short opening speech about the world and his intent for the meeting - this was shown on the cards he had for help and reading from if needed. Vince looked at the first one quickly, and the opened his mouth loudly towards all those present.

"On behalf of the Emperor and myself as the NMK's regent and your host, I welcome and greet you not only to this meeting but the New Mushroom Kingdom as a whole. No matter how you arrived here, I hope that you have a positively enjoyable journey and have even seen a tiny slice of what this city, and country is like as a whole. Among all those here, there are many differences but also many similarities. Meanwhile, time continues to pass and the world, especially in politics. Alliances and the power blocs they form ebb and flow, as do the nations within them. However, even the largest power blocs do not fully encompass the world's great variety of nations. There are always those who take the third path, be it because they want to because the alliances of the day have strong disagreements with national policy and goals. Going it comparatively alone is not an easy path, but it's one we've all taken. But the lack of alliances does not mean lack of relationships - in fact, it means the opposite. It is my hope that we use today and any future events as a platform to learn about each other, and together we build relationships and knowledge between and of each other. Even if you, I, or we have no formal results, we can use the understanding and friendliness to aim for a better, peaceful world without the need for expansive power blocs."

He left a pause between the speech and him getting down to business. Then he concluded his talk by saying "Now, I officially declare this meeting to be open. While I am willing to talk to anyone, I'd prefer you leave any formal business for my soon-to-arrive foreign affairs minister so I can focus on being your host." and then walking away from the lit up spot, which soon dimmed as he left the room. Then all the lights turned back on, and Vince was walking back into the area where everyone else was, ready to talk.

The president and the other members of his delegation clapped for the man. The Devontan president used the applause and silence after to make his own announcement to the other conference members.

Josiah smiled and raised his glass of wine, almost as to signal to everyone he was speaking. "Greetings to all those who have come to meet on this day. To those who don't know me... I am President Josiah Jones and I have come on behalf of the citizens of the Devonta, its commonwealths, and its territories". Josiah then paused and signaled to his advisers. "Also, in my delegation, are two of my most trusted advisers, Angel and Maria. I ask you treat them just like you would treat me. Saying that, the Grand Republic would love to establish relations with all nations present today, rather that be through embassies, trade deals, or what ever your're hearts may desires. I and my delegation look forward to the discussions and hopefully friendships that will be made today. Thank you".

Larisa smiled. "I'm fine, I don't need a drink. We don't really need any naval bases. We're two small to have a big navy, and if we ever have the means we're an island nation."

Marty: "Most ghosts seem to be here for unfinished business, but I'm just here because I like it here. I don't really like the idea of leaving my family, either. Of course we could discuss trade in Black Glass, which when cast is as hard as steel, but unlike steel does not corrode. However I will not take more of your time as other will wish to bask within your aura of beauty".

He looks at his hand. "Fascinating the incorporeal touching the corporeal. It has been a pleasure meeting you, and no doubt we will converse more as the evening progresses."

I have to say that I fully agree with our Host , though alliances are a formal structure , relationships between nations can lead to more interesting trade and exchanges. So on behalf of our King I extend the hand of friendship to the United states of Devonta. I leave it in your fair hands, but now I think a drink would be in order. He grabs two glasses from a passing waiter and passes one over.

Maria watched as a gentleman approached her. He seemed military she thought. His compliment almost took her by surprise, but she was used to it. Maria quickly responded as she took hold of some wine he had given her, but not before taking a sip.

"Why thank you, General Edwards and yes it was". She nodded and continued. On behalf of Devonta I think we can accept such a offer. To make relations grow faster between Devonta and New Aavalonia I think you should have your're government apply for a embassy in my nation. That always seems to be the first step towards further deals with Devonta. Can you tell me about your nation, sir?" Maria smiled and took another sip of wine.

Larisa: "Well, we have to drink the blood of humans, or another one of our world's intelligent species. Given how strange and specific that is, many believe that us vampires are the result of some sort of curse. In any case, we drink donated blood provided by volunteers. For some of my ancestors this sadly wasn't the case, but the world was much more hostile back then and they didn't have that option. It helps that there are many more humans in the world than vampires. If we were more numerous, I imagine things wouldn't have ended up so peaceful.
I usually try to tolerate peoples ideologies, as long as they aren't screaming about genocide or other villainous nonsense. My nation's system is sometimes considered a form of communism, but that term doesn't really mean much to me. For most people it means the authoritarian nightmare that the Soviet Union brought about in some universes, something I would never want.
And yes, Sitka is very, very far off. It's in southeastern Alaska, which is already far away from most places, and on top of that it exists in a completely different universe than this one. Magic had to be used to travel here."

If you count our territories and commonwealths we represent about 1.3 Billion citizens. Devonta covers over 2,000,000 kilometers so I do imagine we are much larger then Aavalonia. May i ask your're nations form of governance?"

As his spot was a bit more isolated, he decided to take out his cigarette to smoke, although all of the smoke that came out of it was sucked into a purple sphere near him before it could reach anyone else.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kandi Sandi quietly entered the room and took a seat, ready to talk to anyone wanting to do any formal buisness. Meanwhile, after his speech Vince was also walking around the room looking for who to talk to first, when he found Sayuri doing the same thing. He went up to Sayuri and then paused, wondering if they were going to start a conversation or if he would.
