So an update on where we stand:

So, Samu and I are about to start shipping en masse. You should have a well armed PLF within a week. We will be doing so in coordination with two Listening posts and 5 subs (maybe Lada class?). They will be performing recon while we direct the shipments through. I'm thinking of RPing one incident between the first shipment and a patrol craft, but we get out of it. My Special Operators will be arriving by the end of the week as well.This means we will be kicking into high gear sometime late next week, if I assume correctly. Obviously correct me if I am wrong on this.

Now some other things:

Ostehaar, you added a surefire way to find me and my shipping. Obviously most of those trackers would be confirmed on regular ships, but some would undoubtedly make it to Orsandia on Arms crates, meaning you know that I am shipping things into PLF territory with no manifest to be sure. So you will know. I assume you will then try to get that message up to the higher-ups, which then fails. In the meantime, Serhan discovers a tracker and we understand that you know now, so we have to move quickly, leading to a full scale assault by the end of next week, early week after. If this is correct, Orsandia, Oste, please let me know.

Samudera, After we get done with this conversation, I will be writing a post about the first shipment.

Currently, We are shipping the arms from western Samudera to fisherman ports in Urching. I will be writing a report from Naval intelligence dispatching 5 subs to the area. I will also be writing a TIS dispatch that is obviously secret but defines exactly what I'm shipping.

From this point on, the ball is in Oster-Dormill-Orsandian courts until we get to the point where I am attacking in force.

If you want to plan a war, Orsandia, I would suggest you put down some ideas regarding PLF successes and how you want your civil war to play out. Are there brutal reprisals from the state? Are all civilians deemed a possible hostile? Are you more measured? Would you like me to RP the PLF as massively brutal fighters or as civilian loving "we are only doing what is necessary" kind of people?

Because as I see it, the main point of such a raid (other than preventing more arms from coming in) would be to obtain actual physical evidence for the involvement of both Thuz and Sam. That could be done through other means, but I wonder if we're still planning this or not. :P

I would think sooner than later. But that is not my decision. Just be sure its raids on the merchant ships first, then you guys try and raid a supply port only to actually be beaten off by the PLF.

Sorry for not posting as often as I should be. Life has been hitting me hard and other NS stuff is taking my attention away from this.

An idea - not necessary but can be nice - top government discussions about what your nation would do if things escalate. Will you deploy troops, and if so which units? Do you have enough intelligence for aerial bombing raids? Are your units getting ready at the moment? Which roads would your forces use and what would be their tactical objectives on the ground? This could be cool.

Sorry for the prolonged hiatus fellas, I have 2nd round of midterms and finals coming up in 3 weeks for the quarter, so obviously my productivity in this RP has took a hit a bit.

I have a suggestion about the next 1-2 weeks regarding this RP.

Thuzbek/Samuderan shipping ops have already begun, and are currently taking place in the port city of Lihai in Urching (UAR).

I think this weeks focus should be what Ostehaar suggested, but also heavy on intelligence gathering and "cat and mouse" between Ostehaar, D&S, Myself and Thuzbekistan and Samudera. The final climax of this part of the RP would be pretty cool if Oste/D&S/Orsandia organize and stage a special operations mission to intercept and raid "suspicious" shipments from Samudera based on intelligence and political anxiety, only to find that the shipment the forces seized were a dud, with Thuzbekistan working a step ahead.

The 2nd part of the RP, I hope can begin late next week or within 2 weeks where we can begin RPing the happenings and developments during the 1st battle of the Spectre in Lihai.


We should also begin to build up our geopolitical readiness, discussions between leaders, partial military mobilization, etc. (Once again what Oste suggested to Dormill)

Next post will (hopefully) come in the next few days - I'm still thinking whether to include its three parts in one post or not. One part is about my government discussing about potential future Oster involvement if things escalate (as in, how would we respond, what forces would join, etc.). A second part is about my folks in Lindastir finally learning enough about the Thuzbek shipments to assess that those are weapons for the PLF, and their intention to go with this to decision-makers. A third part is about my two agents in Orsandia who are still trying to gather basic intelligence on the ground - once the information about the shipments gets to them, they will try to follow one and see who gets it on the PLF side.

For that last part, Thuz, I'd need some description of it from you. As in, where are they driving, where it gets to, how they try to secure the operation, what's the role of your agents there, and such.

So, the plan is to attack Lihai, then move North towards the capital while small units secure the Urching country side. Large engagements would be avoided. How this all turns out is up to you, ors.

As for my agents, they will be directing and advising as well as supplying when possible. Serhan will be working with a tactical officer and dispatching spec ops units to try and disrupt enemy mobilization with support from PLF units.

Thuz, i'm thinking of a plotline to exploit your distrust towards my agency. In recent post you had seen my agency unreliabity and unprofessionalism. Maybe you are thinking of getting rid of me in the operation in Orsandia, but you can't because i have a sizeable resources to help you. Thus you are forced to work with me.

This might be exploited by Ostehaar to get intel info indirectly from you.

If you are willing to, I would ask for some co-op between D&S, you, and I planning and green lighting a urgent special ops mission on these PLF shipments this upcoming week so it can really set the tone for the beginning of action in this roleplay event.

Lihai, and don't forget about Lahpso Taha as well. If it gets to the capital, a large scale engagement is all but inevitable from my view. Other than this, I will leave you and Samudera to discuss actions.

Make sure you run your plans by me here on the OOC too regarding the RP conflict-aspect, as we will require close communication to ensure this moves smoothly from both of our ends.
