In a galaxy far far away, various interstellar empires and nations are struggling for dominance over the galaxy. Will you use diplomacy to secure your dominance and reign over the galaxy, or will you defeat your enemies with military strength and enslave the survivors, or will you keep a low profile like a republican living in San Francisco to avoid the wrath of the largest empires?
RULES:
I. Each capital system is only capable of supporting 100 capital ships and 750 other medium vessels, and 1,000 frigates. Other systems are capable of supporting 50 capital ships, 400 other medium vessels, and 750 frigates.
II. Each capital system is home to two habitable planets, and every non-capital system is home to one habitable planets. You may name them, come up with their climate, etc.
III. Each planet may contain no more than 50 billion people (Even at 25 billion on a planet, you're bound to have overpopulation issues at that point).
IV. No planet destroying technology.
V. Shields can only maintain getting hit so many times before getting deactivated. Be realistic with shields.
VI. Laser weaponry, plasma weaponry, and other FT weaponry is allowed, except for faster-than-light weapons, and other weapons your opponent has no way whatsoever to react to.
RULES ON EXPANDING/COLONIZATION:
I. It takes time for a colonized planets population to increase, to set up an outpost, etc. Large colonization ships can probably carry 10,000-20,000 people (These count as capital ships).
II. For a colonized planet to be acknowledged, you will need to, in detail, explain HOW it was colonized and the details, such as roleplaying the fleet's journey to the planet, landing on it, setting up, the climate/details of the planet, etc. etc. This isn't some 1-post roleplay.
III. You should include a link to which planet/system you're colonizing.
RULES ON WAR:
I. Allow your opponent to respond to attacks, and don't dictate casualties for them. If they're unrealistic about casualties (I.E. invincibility,
godmodding) then telegram them to try and get them to fix it. If it doesn't work, telegram me.
II. If you and your opponent both agreed that you took their capital planet, you officially own them unless you both make a treaty still giving them sovereignty. You'll still need to annex their other systems.
III. The fastest warp drives can travel a lightyear in 2 hours.
