To the Esteemed Representatives of the International Socialist Congress: A Communiqué
The people of the Free Socialist Collective of Gran Ventana have long labored to shirk the oppressive yoke of the capitalist bourgeoisie miscreants that seek to hold down the laborers and peasants and chain them to modernized slavery on an industrial scale. Our country has been at the forefront in the fight to liberate our fellow man and spread world revolution, that the proletariat may be undone from the shackles of such oppression and learn to live in a just and equitable world, where liberty and equality are guaranteed and meted in parcel to all regardless of their race, or creed, or background. This has been the mission of the Ventanan government over the course of the Revolution, and we have thus far succeeded in propagating our vision for a more just and equitable world to all whom would hear.
In keeping with this trend of working to free the oppressed and liberate those crushed under the jackboot of fascist reactionaries and their capitalist backers, the people of the Free Socialist Collective have long sought out diplomatic arrangements that would prove mutually beneficial to both the Collective and to our partner organizations, with whom we share in this great and noble struggle. It is no small matter to take this cause upon your shoulders, to stand for those who have not the voice or the ability to stand for themselves. We recognize that in this cruel and unjust world, the socioeconomic and geopolitical realities confirm what we have known all along, that we must work together with others of likeminded accord if we are to succeed in our ultimate goals. Henceforth, I do make the following proclamation:
The People of the Free Socialist Collective of Gran Ventana do hereby petition the International Socialist Congress for full membership, to be counted among the vanguard of the worthy and just states appointed to its noble organization and goals. We do hereby solemnly pledge to carry out the mission and charter of this grand and glorious organization with the blood and sweat of the Ventanan people, who will strive to uphold its lofty goals and ideals in the pursuit of a fair and just world. We will strive to make available any and all resources necessary to the cause of ensuring that this organization, the member-states joined to her worthy cause thereupon, and all whom would take up the banner of socialism in the 21st century will never stand alone against the oppression of tyranny and persecution, now and always.
