Introduction

Image

Raja Sada Shiva Malla Pratham (Nepali: "Forever Shiva's Wrestler The First") smiled as he gazed at the map of Bharat Barsha and of Chin desh and at few other maps of various locations across the world his royal cartographers had made. The small Himalayan kingdom of Nepal was no longer reclusive nor a small state. What his visionary grandfather had started by uniting various small fighting tribal kingdoms, he had made it larger than ever and he was sure his young heir would continue doing so.

Lord Shiva had indeed blessed his Himalayan abode. Shiva the Destroyer inhabited the mountains and the moment his grandfather had been a devout Shiva follower, Nepal had won war after war against the Musalmans, the Buddha-dharma followers and even against fellow Hindus. Even the Son of the Heaven - the rulers of Chin desh, had started recognizing the growing power of the Shiva's blessed and formed an alliance. Sada Shiva Malla Pratham hoped that his ally would help in his next wars. It would probably be against the Delhi Sultanate - the main thorn in Nepal's ambitions.

The wise king had already managed to convince the Musalman Sultan of Jaunpur and his Hindu courtiers to ally with Nepal. The ruler of Jaunpur, who had suffered defeat after defeat in wars against other nations of the Bharat Barsha was taken aback but instantly agreed to become an ally of Sada Shiva Malla Pratham. Though war with Delhi was unlikely to be soon, the king of Nepal thought having Jaunpur as a shield was better than nothing and the Ahom Raja of Assam was always willing to fight to death for Nepal's side should there be a war. The Ahom Raja was a good friend and his father had been even more useful back in the days when Nepal was about Assam's size in land area.

"So what story will you tell me?" Sada Shiva Malla Pratham put down his maps and asked the Portugali.

''Story...my king..." The Portugali stroked his beard. No one knew who the bearded man in funny dress and hat was except that a few months ago he had washed to the shore of Nepal's colony in Cape - the third colony of the Himalayan kingdom. Initially he spoke his native tongue bit seemed to understand Arabic. After a while, he had started speaking a few words of Nepali and had stories of distant lands to tell.

"Stories of distant lands. Places my people have never been to. Places I most likely will never see in this life. You say you are a traveler. Well, traveler, tell me of the rulers and kingdoms of faraway lands."

"As you say...my king..." The Portugali cleared his throat and started a very long tale.

Hello everyone! This is me, Athara Magarat your token Nepali member of the Western Isles. This is actually my first time trying an EUIV AAR.

Like it says on the title, this will be a random nation AAR and every 20 years I will play another nation. Why 20 years? I think in 20 years some actions can be done that can be huge game changers - like Nepal up there (although that for more than 55 years :P ). Well, this was supposed to be random but I started with Nepal so guilty...but one has to put his nation there :P

I rolled Random Nation on the date January 1, 1500 of the save game three times and these were the results -

So, what you have to do is vote for one of the three: Utrecht, Warsangali or Guarani. Voting period starts now.

Saldanadda Warsangeli Tiiriyaan

Image

Sultan Garaad Ali Dable was a man the Somali people of Warsangali loved. Immediately after his father's death, he had been a victim of the political schemes and backstabbing in the court. The traitors in the regency council had not wasted their time to exile him to al-Yamanīyah (Yemen). But that was their biggest mistake - the bloody fools ought to have killed him instead. In exile, Ali Dable became a warrior, a master tactician and the Somali warriors who believed in him, joined his camp not only from Warsangali but other various nearby sultanates. In his exile, Ali Dable traveled far and wide to know the world and he became a visionary. He was sure that if he did not return to power, Warsangali would soon vanish. From the traders and travelers, he met, he heard of and saw the wonderful invention of gunpowder being used. It came from the distant east - a large empire whose ruler called himself the Son of Heaven. The Heavenly Empire's ally, another powerful kingdom, called Nepal, had been supplying these weapons to various Arabic sultanates and Persia to counter the descendants of Timur - who had once been the greatest Muslim ruler of his time and used gunpowder weapons as well in his invasions. In the west, the current Muslim superpower - the Ottomans - were said to utilize large and powerful cannons to bring even the mightiest European castles to their mercy.

But the king of Nepal as well as Timur's descendants and the Ottomans had made a big mistake. The continuous use and invention of newer weapons by the Timruids, the Ottomans, Nepal, Persia and various other Arabic and European countries had not gone unnoticed even in Somali lands. But Ali Dable was the first to establish separate cannon regiments in Warsangali.

In the Battle of Garadag, Ali Dable and his highly-trained and highly-motivated troops alongside newer gunpowder weapons from abroad, defeated the Dhulbahante clan who had exiled him and seized power for themselves. The defeat of the Dhulbahante clan ensured that everyone in Warsangali recognized Ali Dable as their legitimate sultan.

And thus starts the tale of this remarkable sultan who would pave the way for Warsangali to rise from a little known Somali state in East Africa to a world power.

Neighboring powers had started to see the Sultan Ali Dable already as a threat but none so than Oman - whose ruler and courtiers apparently felt that Warsangali was threatening their trade in the Gulf of Aden. The Omani sultan Barakat Nabhan had sent threats multiple times to Ali Dable to confine the Somali state to their "petty lands of rats". Threat after threat, Ali Dable and the people of Warsangali grew resentful of Oman's attitudes towards them and it was finally done. Ali Dable had sent a long letter insulting the Omani ruler, his ancestors and his harem.

"...If you run away from me, may your father be turned away from Heaven and may all your wives belong to other men..."

So furious was the Omani sultan that he did not sent a reply, and the entire Somali lands and Muslim world came to know of this insult exchange. Those who had enmity with Oman, especially the Yemeni sultan, seemed sent gifts to Ali Dable for his courageous deed.

Ali Dable was a cunning ruler. He knew that though he might have gained people's trust with the insult hurled to Omani sultan, bringing Oman to its knees would be another thing. Hence he started to look for other options to make Warsangali strong enough to face Oman. And by the grace of Allah, he did not even have to lift a finger for that.

Image

May be they felt threatened or maybe they were angry that Ali Dable was sending insults to his neighbors, the minnow nation of Marehan sent a letter of insult to him. Warsangali raised one more regiment of youths volunteering for national service and declared war on the minnow nation of Marehan with diplomatic insult as the reason for it. Laying seige in Marehan's capital Galkayo was not a problem - especially for veteran general Sarjelle Dalmar and his Army of Lamu who had been with Ali Dable in his exile. Marehan's allied Malindi were the problem as the kingdom shared no border with Warsangali.

After the siege of Galkoyo was over, the Army of Lamu was ferried to Malindi lands. To the surprise of Ali Dable and people of Warsangli, the allied nation Hejaz had sent 5,000 men to aid the Army of Lamu. With the help of the reinforcements from Hejaz and the brilliance of Sarjelle Dalmar on the battlefield, the war was instantly over. The rulers of both Marehan and Malindi swore their allegiance to Ali Dable as his Tiiriyaan - those whom he could "rely on". The entire Muslim world heard of what had transpired and the sultan of neighboring Harer had the worst dreams for he knew Ali Dable would make his land the next target.

Ali Dable was a visionary man. His focus was the war's aftermath as well as to the south-east - on an island known as Mahe that could be settled by Somali people in coming years.

Saldanadda Warsangeli Guulaysta

Image

Six years had gone by. In those six years, Sultan Ali Dable had made lots of administrative and political reforms that had enriched the nation and kept his people happy. The news that Warsangali had successfully added the faraway island of Mahe to their territory and even converted the native population to the true Sunni faith reached the Muslim world and beyond. The quest for a new world in Warsangali had begun. Somali families flocked to ships for these new lands. Ali Dable had specifically ordered his people to make settlements in the chain of islands known as the Maldives. But unlike in Mahe, the natives of the Maldives were warlike and frequently destroyed Somali settlements. Still the efforts to make the Maldives a Warsangali colony went on and even some native tribes started approaching the Somali settlers for trade and help in local wars. To those who did not want to settle in the Maldives, Ali Dable gave them the option of taking their families to live in the island of Mauritius further south from Mahe. But this too had problems - for Mauritius was right next to Ile Bourbon, a colony of the rising power Nepal. The Somali families in Mauritius claimed that the Nepalis would often come to the island and take away resources while the Nepali settlers in Ile Bourbon accused the Somalis of doing the same. Though the sultan wanted this problem solved, he knew that waging a war against Nepal was not ideal and instead had his focus on his neighbors - especially Harer.

Image

Like with the previous war which had resulted in Marehan and Malindi becoming Warsangali vassals, Harer was not the problem but its ally Ajuuraan were. Harer had been split into two years earlier and the other province that was not in the capital had some rebels ruling over the place than the sultan of Harer. Fortunately for Ali Dable, Hejaz and Yemen honored their alliance with Warsangali by declaring war on a fellow Sunni state.

3,000 foot soldiers and a cavalry regiment from Harer led by Hashim Tsige started the actual war by harassing (arson, murder, rape, and other unspeakable crimes) the civilians of cities and towns in the Warsangali province of Mora. Sarjelle Dalmar's Army of Lamu was dispatched by Ali Dable to take care of the problem and that they did in splendid manner. To have equal numbers and fight in honorable manner unlike the scum of Harer who commit heinous crimes, Sarjelle Dalmar entered the Battle of Mora only with his 6,000 infantrymen. The battle was decided when a ball of fire pierced into the Hashim Tsige's chest in close combat and the rest of his demoralized army retreated. Sarjelle Dalmar and his Army of Lamu wasted no time in chasing the runners all the way to the capital of Harer to lay a siege.

While Ajuuraan's cities were under siege by Warsangali's Army of Garoowe, the Ajuuraan army commanded by Muhammad Mosa had taken advantage of the desert terrain to cross the border into the Warsangali province of Werder. With 4,000 men and the Prophet's grace, the Yemeni commander Yahya Saleh decided to become the hero by attacking the 10,000 men strong Ajuuraan army. It seemed Muhammad Mosa had the grace of the Prophet as well and emerged victorious - completely annihilating the Yemeni forces to retreat all the way to Adan.

A month later, Muhammad Taleb of Hejaz decided to do what the Yemeni had failed to do - defeating the Ajuuraan army in Werder. Taleb had 5,000 infantrymen and 3,000 mounted soldiers at his disposal while Mosa, whose forces had been laying siege of Werder for more than a month, had around 7,000 soldiers on foot and estimated 2,000 on horseback. It had been expected by the people of Warsangali, Yemen and Hejaz that Taleb's well-trained army that would emerge victorious and Ali Dable knew Taleb personally for he had participated in Warsangali's previous war against Marehan. But on the first of June of 1508 of Gregorian calendar, Muhammad Mosa proved to the world that determination to fight the odds was also essential. Despite getting slaughtered here and there by well-equipped men from Hejaz, the soldiers of Ajuuraan held their ground under the fierce leadership of Mosa and after Taleb fell to a spear, the outcome of the battle was cemented.

Despite his allies suffering two great losses at Werder, Ali Dable refused to call back his men to the province. Instead, he ordered his soldiers to capture enemy cities one by one at any cost.

Image

But even Ali Dable had his limits. When news of his son Umar's death during a hunt reached his ears, the entire royal court and citizens alike were filled with grief. Without the sultan ordering them, the soldiers were at loss over what to do next but Sarjelle Dalmar finished the Siege of Harer just in time to spearhead the war efforts. The Army of Lamu was ordered to march quickly to Werder to engage the Ajuuraan army.

Muhammad Mosa was no fool as well. His scouts had reported him of the sudden march and in haste, the Ajuuraan army was ordered to return to Ajuuraan's border and engage the Malindi army at the Ajuuraan province of El Buur. The Malindi army under Ahmad Jumbe were overwhelmed when Muhammad Mosa's army overran their positions and the locals of El Buur armed themselves to support their savior Mosa. But Ahmad Jumble ensured that his outnumbered soldiers stood firm and that paid off when the Army of Lamu, who had been reinforced back to 10,000 men along the way, arrived and decimated the entire Ajuuraan army and it was the night that the brilliant Muhammad Mosa, who had hindered the war efforts of Warsangali and its allies, was stopped forever with his death.

Image

Meanwhile, taking advantage that the armies of Warsangali and Marehan were far away at Ajuuraan territories, Marehan Revolutionary Army led by a man known as Muhammad Abdikarim ran amok and vandalized everything that Warsangali administration had built. Their demands were too long to list but most importantly, they wanted Marehan to be independent from Warsangali.

The Army of Lamu was sent by Sarjelle Dalmar to quickly end the revolution in Marehan before it got too big to handle and he also did not want his sultan and the citizens to get distracted by a rebellion in Marehan while the war against Harer and Ajuuraan was ongoing.

Image

The armies of Warsangali, Yemen, Hejaz, Marehan and Malindi were winning battle after battle and siege after siege under the proper instructions of Sarjelle Dalmar that other neighbors started to see Warsangali as a war-mongering state. Specially the Christian infidels of Ethiopia argued that Warsangali's forces had crossed the border in the war and set foot on Ethiopian soil. The diplomatic rift grew larger and larger while the war raged on.

Warsangali's courtiers and citizens began to claim that the Ethiopian province of Ausa should belong to them than the infidels. They hated Ethiopia more than Harer or Ajuuraan against who a war had been raging.

All Sarjelle Dalmar did was ensure the war efforts were taken care of and smile for he knew Sultan Ali Dable would use the claims on the next war as soon as he was out of grief.

Saldanadda Warsangeli Jihaadka

Image

Allah rewards the pious. And He rewards the good men, thought Sultan Ali Dable as he looked at the bright face of his newborn son in the dark room. He was named Sarjelle in the honor of Ali Dable's long-time friend Sarjelle Dalmar who was still leading Warsangali and allied troops to war against Harer and Ajuuraan. Ali Dable and his wife as well as the people of Warsangali rejoiced and hoped that the crown prince would lead the sultanate to greater prosperity.

Image

Despite the war, Warsangali administration was still focused on colonizing the unsettled lands and some might say even more due to the war as people flocked to those distant places to escape the ravages of war. The Maldives had become a self-sustaining colony after many nearly a decade. More and more Somali families moved to live in Mauritius and the Nepalis in Ile Bourbon complained more about "Somali pirates". But nothing would stop family after family to establish newer homes in Mauritius or even the distant eastern Muslim lands. Between powerful Muslim sultanates such as Brunei and Malacca was an island called Belitung and Warsangali courtiers were already calling it their fourth colony.

Image
Image

After seeing almost all of his cities facing siege or under enemy occupation and his armies defeated in almost every battle, the sultan of Ajuuraan finally gave in to the demands of Ali Dable and Warsangali. Harer's capital and half of Ajuuraan were now the territory of Warsangali Sultanate. The war ended but there were many things to be done. And thus, Ali Dable had his soldiers patrolling the newer territories so that any rebellion would be immediately suppressed and often visited these places to listen to the problems of these people - who were now under his protection as his subjects like any other person in Warsangali Sultanate. But mostly, the people of Ajuuraan were also ethnically Somali or of related tribes and religiously Sunni hence assimilation into Warsangali society proved not to be too big of a problem.

Image

A day after the Christmas of 1512, Ali Dable surprised the Christian infidels of Ethiopia by declaring a jihad. But only the ever faithful Hejaz jumped to the call of jihad while the rulers of Yemen and Kilwa argued that declaring war right after a major celebration was cowardly and unholy. Regardless of what others said, the Army of Lamu and the Army of Garoowe crossed the border to start laying siege on Ethiopian cities while news of Hejaz's forces crossing the Red Sea to carry out the jihad was delivered.

Sarjelle Dalmar once again demonstrated his brilliance on the battlefield by defeating Malta Krestos Wami's 8,000 strong army with just 6,000 infantrymen on a mountainous terrain. With the main Ethiopian army routed, the Army of Lamu under Dalmar continued its siege activity.

Image

Whether it was false rumors or whether there was a miscommunication, the Sultan of Brunei, with whom Ali Dable had been seeking an alliance, instead declared to the entire world that Warsangali was Brunei's enemy. However, the courtiers upon further analyzing found that the Sultan of Brunei and his people were not looking forward to "Somali pirates" living in the islands of Belitung and Bangka. Ali Dable was angry to hear that and proclaimed that Somali people had right to live in any island they would come upon. He scrapped the idea of any alliance with Brunei and instead promised his people that the "blue blob of east" would be dealt with after the war against the Ethiopian infidels ended.

Saldanadda Warsangeli Maamulka

Image

The natives of Bangka had slowly, one by one, family by family, tribe by tribe, came to embrace the Somali culture of Warsangali thanks to the hard work of the colonists. Islam had been already introduced to the island either by neighboring sultanates of the east or the Arabic traders or Muslim Indians but Ali Dable and his people didn't care and were happy that their work was easier. Each Somali colonist in Bangka was tasked with teaching a specific number of Bangka natives the Somali traditions while also learning about the native way of life in the island. The natives who came to understand and appreciate Warsangali culture were living in the colonial settlements and helping the colonists to make the island of Bangka self-sufficient sooner.

Image

On the Christian date of March 22 of the year 1517, the Warsangali Jihad Against Ethiopia officially ended. Due to the blessings of the Prophet, and the determination of the Warsangali soldiers in the Army of Lamu and the Army of Garoowe, and the assistance of allies such as Hejaz, the Christian infidels of Ethiopia were forced into submission to hand over 2/3rds of their land. The holy war brought great prestige to Ali Dable and the Warsangali sultanate. It also cemented the sultanate's status as the strongest nation in East Africa.

Image

After losing the will of God in their side, the infidels of Ethiopia finally understood the position they were in. The war had been a disaster for Ethiopian king and he was grateful that the Somalis had not taken all of his entire kingdom in one swoop. To reduce hostilities with Ali Dable, the Ethiopian king announced that his nation no longer considered Warsangali their rival.

Hearing the Ethiopian messengers, Ali Dable smiled for he knew that Ethiopia - the land of Pester John - was in no position to be a rival of his ever-growing Warsangali Sultanate.

Image

After the end of war with Ethiopia, the entire administration of Warsangali had been focused on integrating Marehan officially into Warsangali territory. It was not difficult for Marehan's primary culture was also Somali. The sultan of Marehan was in no position to refuse the offer and in fact, the courtiers of Marehan were quick to work with Warsangali ministers to ensure that the integration happened fast.

Image

The entire sultanate wept as the great and visionary Sultan Ali Dable died all of a sudden a year later after he had conquered 2/3rd of Ethiopia and integrated Marehan into his territory. Rumors were abound that the sultan had never overcome his grief over his first son Umar's death and tried as best he could to hide his inner pain. Sultans, kings and chieftains from various nations, kingdoms and tribes came to pay their respects to the man as did Somali settlers from the distant colonies of Mahe, the Maldives, the Mauritius and Bangka. The Warsangali Sultanate went into regency for the next sultan Sarjelle Gerad was just seven years of age. The Dhulbahante clan once again came to power in Warsangali but this time they did not take the power for themselves. Ali Dable was a visionary and had been wise to offer important roles to the members of the influential Dhulbahante clan, especially to those who looked above clan for the sake of the sultanate.

The future sultan Sarjelle was lucky to have a council of wise and resourceful regents to show him a new world even if his father could not. After the grief of Ali Dable's death faded, Sarjelle's Maamulka - his grand administration - was looked upon by the Somali people to lead them to new horizons.

I am a lazy ass. Which I admit. So...while I write the AAR, why don't you guys help me by voting on the next nation? I also checked what happened to Nepal. They have done nothing else than break their alliance with Jaunpur under a new king (whose name Amarmalla Malla makes no sense to me) for Orissa and established a few more colonies in south Africa and Southeast Asia.

Uh-well...here are the three options for the next 20 years. Introducing Jenne (I know wrong spelling), Cologne who is not in a good situation with two wars and Warsangali's neighbor Ajuuraan.

Erzbistum Köln Überlebt

Image

Archbishop Hermann V von Wied of Cologne knew he had to set things right. The Archdiocese of Cologne was at two separate wars and losing both of them. Saxony's forces had already occupied Anhalt and Archbishop Hermann had in fact supported the losing side in this war. But Saxony's occupation of Anhalt was a distant thing. Burnswick had declared war and had inflicted defeat upon defeat on Cologne. Even Cologne's allies Münster, Frankfurt and Mainz had been routed by the superior troops from Burnswick and the news were even worse when one knew that Burnswick's allies Denmark and Thuringia. As Berg was being pillaged by Burnwick's army and he was safe in an escaping carriage, Archbishop Hermann shuddered to think how worse it would have been if the Danes and Thuringia's army were in Cologne's territory.

But the Archbishop had not lost hope. He knew that his allies had not withdrawn from the wars and neither would his people. In Köln, he gave a rousing speech to the local men and to 'travelers who did all sort of business for money'. The Archbishop didn't care how much treasury he had to spent. He knew he had to field an army twice the number of Burnswick's 10,000 men. Soon news spread like wildfire in neighboring countries that Archbishop Hermann of Cologne would pay handsomely for their service in war against Burnswick. Men who had no whatsoever loyalty to any state and were in it for money gathered and trained at Köln in the next ten months and were enlisted alongside the local farmers of Köln. The numbers weren't exact but around 20,000 and the Archbishop's general Hans Lochtkemper decided to use them in the next engagement.

And the said engagement happened in the 20th of November, 1520 AD. For reasons unknown, the Burnswick army commander Ernst Ferdinand Ickelrath decided to leave the siege and pillaging of Bern for enter the territory of Frankfurt, Cologne's ally in the early days of November. While Ickelrath's men fought against Frankfurt's army for several days, Hans Lochtkemper and Cologne's Armee von Westfalen received the news and were dispatched per Archbishop Hermann's orders. But more than half of the men in Armee von Westfalen had never seen combat in their life. Despite outnumbering Ickelrath's men almost two-to-one, the Armee von Westfalen nearly lost the Battle of Nassau. Only the rallying by their commander Hans Lochtkemper ensured a narrow win in the battle.

Despite the losses suffered at Nassau, the small win had decided the rest of the entire war. The win emboldened Cologne's allies to launch sieges of their own on Burnswick's cities.

Image

The Renaissance meanwhile was spreading from Italy to throughout Europe like wildfire. Archbishop Hermann decided to spend the money on supporting the creative Renaissance artists and they in turn made works that favored Cologne. The artists spoke in other nations of how Archbishop Hermann had rallied his people in a charismatic way. Even in the most remote corner of Europe, the Archbishop's name was spoken as hero who represented the underdogs.

Image

The Hansa, who had been one of the backers of Cologne in the war against Burnswick, suddenly withdrew the financial aid on 5th of July, 1522. Had it been done a year earlier, things would have been different but now it didn't matter for now the war was nearing its end. And Cologne's army was capable enough to finish the job without any subsidies from the Hansa.

After laying sieges on each and every important city in Burnswick, Cologne's Armee von Westfalen and allied troops crossed Thuringia's border and routed the army of Thuringia as well.

Perhaps, now fearful of Archbishop Hermann's reputation (thanks to the Renaissance artists) across Europe and the fact that Cologne had now reversed the tide against Burnswick and Thuringia, Saxony accepted Anhalt's peace offer of just war reparations.

Now there was no war against Saxony and the Armee von Westfalen's sole mission was to burn Thuringnia to ashes. It was surprising that the Danes had not arrived to rescue their Burnswick ally. Perhaps, even the mighty Danish king feared Archbishop Hermann now.

Peace talks were finally held on November 9th, 1523 with Burnswick's delegation. The Archbishop's representatives demanded Hannover, Kassel, Lüneburg and Osnabrück from them. The Burnswick delegation argued with one another for two days but finally decided to agree to the terms of peace.

The news of the peace treaty furthered the Archbishop's and Cologne's reputation as a power not to be underestimated across the entirety of Europe. The Archbishop vowed to God to ensure that the Hannoverian culture of these newly acquired lands would be respected in the predominately Rhinelander culture of Cologne.

But this also had negative results as Münster broke their alliance with Cologne. The Hansa declared Cologne their rival and Brandenburg cancelled their military access to Cologne's army. And a few days later, Brandenburg also declared Cologne their rival.

Image

Even then, nothing was more insulting than the Emperor demanding that Hannover be 'returned' to the Holy Roman Empire. The people of Cologne were angry at this. Their men had worked with ever-trustful allies and fought to death against Burnswick to gain the territory and now this person who just stayed in the sidelines while countless men and women on both sides died was saying the territory was his!

Archbishop Hermann had nothing but angry words against the Austrian. It is said that the Archbishop even told the Austrian emperor to till a land before asking for it.

Archbishop Hermann V von Wied was a cunning man. He knew that access to the sea was necessary for economic power. There had also been news of the Iberian countries sending ships and colonists to newly discovered lands in the west. The Archbishop, being a visionary, was determined to gain foothold on the lands of the west. And for many other reasons as well, the access to the sea was needed.

War was declared against Bremen and it was brief. Former Cologne ally Münster, deciding that Archbishop Hermann's ambitions were a threat to all, joined the war on Bremen's side. It was disaster for the allies. Their forces were routed in all engagements. Münster's people were in relief that Archbishop Hermann had only taken Stade and nothing else.

So once again...while I write the AAR, I advise you guys to help me by voting on the next nation. And by the way, the update on our previous nations are also there.

Image

A colonial nation named Nepali Australia has formed in...well...duh Australia. Aside from that, Nepal hasn't done much. It's the same old, same old story. And you might notice that below in Paredarerme...I mean Tasmania...are Warsangali clay now :P

Image

Speaking of Warsangali, they are currently at war against Qara Qoyunlu and its vassals Georgia, Gazikumukh and Shirvan. Qara Qoyonlu had declared war on Hejaz, Warsangali's long-time ally. The war started very recently so nothing much on who is winning or losing but I do hope that the Somalis I played as for a while crush the Black Sheep Turks...

And here we have three options for the next round. Presenting to you, the Cocomes, the Dai Viet and at last - Malacca who are curb-stomping Pasai.
