Jueians Crazy over Season 2 of The Palace!

After the successful first season of The Palace, Officals granted the Director Theophilus Anastos permission to produce a second season. Which goes into detail of the late 50s to early 60s of the reign of Empress Maria II, who is noted by many historians to have modernized the legal system and stopping 6 accepted coups on her. After the first hour of its release, many fans on YouTweet had already commented on the historian accuracy that the show's first episode produced. Director Anastos saying this is only the beginning of one of the worlds soon to be best tv series. While foreign viewings of The Palace are much lower then in Jueia (as to be expected), it still offers a wierd look into one of Jueia's most famous monarchs in history.

Uyghur Terrorists Sighted at ROC-Samuristani Borders

Uyghur terrorists have yesterday, reportedly crossed the borders between The Great Chinese Republic and Samuristan in an attempt to take control of a guard post near the village of Sharkent, according to authorities, the suspected terrorists drove on a Toyota Tacoma with what seemed to be an Islamic flag. The alleged terrorists had several vestments covering their head and seemed to be heavily armed. The terrorist group retreated after hearing the border police approaching loudly with siren speakers. The group was chased for around 4 hours until they reached the Chinese border. As the events are being investigated, guard officers have requested to the parliament a more secure and better-administered border between Northern China and Samuristan, as to avoid trespassers to Samuristan and other possible turmoils.

The Islamic Front of Uyghur Freedom, an Uyghur terrorist group clandestinely operating in Sinkiang and Dzungaria, claim to fight for an independent Uyghuristan under an Islamic Republic. This group, however, has been accused of participating in the illegal trade of arms and recruiting non-Uyghur Muslims to expand their influence. Their operations have recently become prominent and a threat to Samuristan where Islam is prominent, and fears that such group could bring a wave of extremism and separatism from its borders.

Protests in Carpathia, Slovak secession demands
Since the 1733 war of the Hungarian succession, Slovaks wthin Hungary were afforded some minority rights following their national declaration of allegiance to the Hungarian crown. To this day the royal Slovak guard are considered one of the elite regiments in the Carpathian army. After the war however, many Slovaks felt betrayed as the Hungarian king refused to negotiate an independent Moravian homeland for the Slovak minority and instead partitioned the Habsburg domains, founding the Carpathian Empire. In the over 200 years since then, Carpathian relations with the Slovak minority have seen many ups and downs, from the miracle at Nyitra to the great betrayal in the war with Russia.

Now, 80 years since the last Slovak crisis, Slovak cultural leaders are once again stirring trouble. Speaker of the Slovak National Front, baron Jonáš Takács petitioned the Hungarian King for the right to hold a referendum for Nyitran autonomy as a new vassal duchy of the Carpathian crown. While the young Császár may have been somewhat sympathetic in his youthful inexperience to the requests of the Slovak leaders, his mother, the regent of Carpathia was not at all amused by the subtle threats of Slovak rebellion should the emperor fail to comply with their demands. So far the only news on the matter is that the petition has been submitted to the Council of Sovereigns at the behest of the emperor.

In a national effort to curtail the devastating impact of prescription drug abuse, the new monitoring system has shown that rural police dragging their feet on this issue is an embarrassment with deadly consequences.

Prescription drug monitoring systems show conclusively that rural districts are contributing the largest levels of use and abuse of prescriptions.
The programs provide doctors and pharmacists with essential information, allowing them to cut off patients who are stockpiling opioids and other potentially harmful medications as well as to conserve limited medication supplies.

Monitoring system databases track the prescriptions that patients fill, allowing both doctors and pharmacists to flag abuses. Armed with that information, doctors can help those who are abusing drugs seek treatment — and they can avoid over-prescribing painkillers and unintentionally fueling an addiction while making sure that limited supplies of medications are being used only where they need them.

No medical professional wants to become inadvertently complicit in a patient’s drug abuse. Yet an inexplicable lack of legislative muscle here has created that reality as more and more Kansas Seperatists turn to chemical abuse.

Earlier this Morning the Military recently announced that the 5th Guard Tank Regiment will be Moved from the Bosertok Military Base in Veliky Novgorod to Vostivgrod Military Base in Leningrad in order to boost the Efforts for the Leningrad Defense Line that the Government has been Making for the last few months, The Government claims that the Defense Line will be used to defend the Motherland from Finland in the case of a Invasion from the North, The Government has also taken Extra Measures by Expanding the Grestov Radar Station near Leningrad to have more Dated equipment.

The Government has also Recently announced that a Military Training Exercise will happen in the Following Days: December 20th,21st, and 23rd.
The Exercise will happen in Northern Leningrad with the Co-operation of Local Authorities and Civilians that will partake for a Scenario of a possible Evacuation from Leningrad in the case of a invasion from Finland.
Similar Exercises will also happen in Minsk for Preperation of a Chkalovian Invasion of Krustevland.

A lot of ya write me and ya say "Bill, I love the magazine but I just cant get ya on my radio set." Well, no matter what set ya got, a good antenna is the key to pickin up yer favorite broadcasts so here I have some advice on makin yer first homemade antenna.
Now ole' Bill knows a thing or three bout antennas, radios and the like and I could gab on bout "low impedance feeds" "radiating resonance" and "half-wavelengths" but you don't need to understand all that for an antenna ta work, ya just got ta build the thing and hook it ta yer set!

Now we are gonna talk about what is called a Di-Pole Antenna and a dipole is easy ta construct cause its only got two poles, hence DI-POLE... Now ta get the most out of this, yer gonna want ta get yerself a piece of old cable wire out of a house or off of a pole about one hundred and fourty three feet long, why one four three? Well thats complicated but lets just say that is the best length – now it is best ta cut the wire slightly longer than this and then twist the end of the wire back on itself ta get as close as ya can ta that one four three. Now take yer length of wire, fold it exactly in half and cut er in tha middle.
Now strip the wire back on one end and wrap it around an old bicycle tire, this is yer insulator, climb a tree or somethin kinda tall and nail or tie the bicycle tore to it, makin sure that the wire don't touch nothin but the tire.
Now drill ya three holes in a piece of copper pipe a couple inches long and strip the wire back on tha other end of yer first wire and on the end of the second length of wire and tightly connect them to the two holes farthest apart on the pipe and connect a piece of telephone wire or speaker wire or any old wire to the hole in the center, run this here feeder wire to yer radio set and either connect it ta the antenna port or just strip the end back and wrap it around yer existing antenna...
Finally ya are gonna take yer second longwire and and find ya somethin else, a pole or another tree or yer house, anything the same height as tha first tire insulator but its got to be about one hundred fifty feet away, tie ya another bicycle tube ta the end of that and nail it up somewhere good and tight.

Thats it folks, just three wires strung up like the letter T and not touchin nothin but yer radio set.

Survivin in the cold can be a rough venture under the best conditions and lets face it folks, most of us don't live under the best conditions these days. So in addition to makin sure ya got a good stock of coal and some warm blankets, here is some advice on keepin alive out there when the snow starts to fall.

First, yer gonna want to dress in layers, this is the best way to regulate yer body temperature while bein out in tha cold. Multiple layers are better than one thick layer cause they trap air between them. This air is then warmed by your body and acts as an insulator against the cold. Startn off with a light layer ta keep sweat away from your skin and buildn up from there about three to five layers dependin on the weather. The outer most layer ought to be somethin to keep tha wind and water off ya, a good parka is nice but if ya dont have one, stitch up a poncho from an old shower curtain or some plastic bags, it might not b too stylish but its gonna keep ya dry.
Just remember ta take off layers if ya get too warm, its better to be just a little chilly than to start ta sweatin and soak yer clothes from the inside out.
Cover yer head up to keep tha heat in. Yer like a chimney and all the heat is gonna get lost out the top if ya dont keep it in with a hood or hat. Also this is the easiest layer to remove if you find yourself getting hot.

Now yer gonna want to keep a fire goin whether yer indoors or out and yer gonna want ta keep some water hot too cause if ya start ta loose heat then a drink of warm water will put some heat back in ya without yer body havin ta make it itself and that is gonna keep ya alive. So inside I want ya to keep a couple of cans of water set up by the fire or on the stove, keep em full and melt snow in em if yer well head freezes up but never eat the snow cause it will do the opposite and make yer body work harder ta warm you up. And outdoors, yer gonna want to have a barrel or can that ya can toss some garbage or wood or coal inta and light up whenever ya have to be outside doin any work, this is so ya can warm yerself up by it but also so ya can keep some cans of water hot by it too.

Now I know fuel is expensive and we dont all have a bunch of coal backs laying around to keep the heating bill paid so my final tip is on how ta conserve fuel when cooking in the winter. Get yerself a big box, big enough to fit yer biggest, heaviest stew pot into. Now pack the inside of that box with old clothes, straw, grass, rags or what have ya for insulation and leave just enough room in the middle for the pot, now when ya want to make yer stew, start it in the mornin and get it real hot and boilin hard, then take it off the fire and set it in that box and cap it off with a big old quilt or blanket all folded up. This is gonna hold that heat in and work like one of those old crock pots, it will cook for hours in there, nice and slow til supper time without needin no more fire.

So I hope that these tips help ta keep some of ya'll alive or atleast more comfortable this winter.
And when all else fails, snuggle up with yer loved ones and stay in doors.

The HMEGMS Aurelian, Upper Secundus' only aircraft carrier, has been in service since the 1970s.

The Minister of Defence Epidicus Lupercus has announced a brand new buying scheme which is believed to be part of a long term modernisation plan of all aspects of the Imperial Armed Forces. Speaking to the Press today, Lupercus had this to say: "This is a long term plan. These money will be sent as 5 Billion USD paid every year for 6 years. Among these purchases (for the Imperial Navy) shall be a multitude of new warships in order to better project our influence across the globe. The aircraft carriers will come pre-equipped with the latest fighter jets and aircraft from Australia Minor, which will serve as the first stage of the government's Air Force modernisation plan."

Among the plans for the Imperial Army is securing the purchase of several hundred new Charger and Lancer Main Battle Tanks (again, from Australia Minor) which are to replace the ageing Fulgur Main Battle Tanks. It is believed that the entire modernisation plan for the military will cost about 30 Billion USD, or about 16.7 Billion Aureuses (1 Aureus is equivalent to 1.8 USD) Some of the plans for purchases by the Imperial Armed Forces remain undisclosed.

Emperor Akihito also wishes to open Japan's foreign affairs. Japan wishes to become friendlier with the three main entities in China, as well as Northern Indonesia. Japan is willing to enter economic and trade agreements, and to participate in overseas military exercises.

Today, The last Squadron of MiG-31's would now land in Leningrad AFB to be replaced with a new Squadron of MiG-41 Stealth Interceptors and as it meets it's Final Flight the Combreknizan Air Force Aviamarch is played(OOC:The Video if your curious what it sounds like), This has been a long way for the MiG-25 Interceptor that has served Combrekniza ever since the beginning of the Republic, the MiG-41 Stealth Interceptor today will be the official Combreknizan Interceptor replacing the aging MiG-31 from Circulation, the Government has also announced the MiG-41E an Export Variant of the MiG-41E with reduced stealth Capabilities will be on the Market by next week.

The MiG-41 is apart of the current on-going Armata Program that plans to Replace or Modernize Russian Vehicles that have been serving Combrekniza from the first years of it's Formation, Currently there are plans to Increase the Production of Armata Program Vehicles to soon replace it's older counterparts while building more factories to open more Jobs, the Government plans that the Armata Program will finally achieve it's goals by 2021.

Today, Japanese Emperor Akihito settled a deal with Combreknizian President Vladimir Putin regarding the exports of military equipment to Japan. Japan agreed to pay the price given, and has decided to use the money from the nation's defense budget to pay the required amount. The plan is to keep the equipment in the reserves, as Japan plans to further develop and modernizes them. As for the MiG-41's, Japan plans to put these into the Air Force immediately, while further developing their stealth capabilities. Japan hopes that good relations will come out of this deal between it and Combrekniza, and hopes that deals similar to this will occur.

Well, its happened again folks, this time near Basin as 32 year old Reginald Parks of the McCarthey Fuel Depot was shot and killed by a roughneck hombre who ought to be familiar to my listeners.
The shooter has been described as being a tall thin man with a square jaw and his front teeth missing which sounds darn familiar from the shooting at Eddie's Ford's Fuel and Water Depot a little more than a month ago.

Round about three or five depot personnel were aboard the outbound train at the around 10:30 a.m. after a youngster had reported seeing a shifty character snoopin around the train, i'm guessin they were lookin to run off a hobo but according to old man McCarthy, our fella spotted the depot workers first and fled the train to the upper level of the depot warehouse to avoid them.
As an employee attempted to flush him out, the man jumped him and knocked him to the ground then pulled out a pistol and fired multiple shots at the rest of the attendants.

After the depot workers retreated inside, they began exchanging gunfire with the shooter through a first floor window, striking the man atleast once but not killing him.
The wounded man continued to fire on the depot as he moved towards the train which was beginning to pull out of the station where he climbed aboard a water tank car where Mr. Parks had been working.
Parks, who always packed a pistol, fired on our shooter but missed him, striking the boiler face of the engineer's compartment which caused the engineer to duck quickly, hitting his head on the fire gate and causing one heck of a bruise.
The shooter then drew down on Reginald Parks and fired a single shot into Parks' head, killing him.

The Depot Shooter took Parks' pistol and jumped from the train, using it as cover while he made his way to a pickup truck nearby where he had loaded about a dozen cans with fuel and water.
He drove away unchallenged and is estimated to have stolen about 30 gallons of fuel and as much water.

This hombre is quickly making a name for himself with a string of violent shootings. Let's just hope we dont hear from him anymore folks, stay safe.

Folks, its time we talked a little about the first 5 C's of Survival and let me tell you, Ole' Bill never heads out into the boonies without these first 5 C’s on him.

Empress Maria marrys Emperor Frazer in Néa Rómi!

With the Announcement of the Marriage between the two Powerful Monarchs. It doesn't come to us as a surprise that a week before the Wedding took place, a Royal Australian Vessel carrying the Australian Emperor touched down in Nèa Rómi. His Imperial Majesty stayed with Empress Maria throughout the Week and went on Tours throughout the Capital. Later details were given to us by a Imperial Spokesman that the Wedding would take place at Saint Jude's Cathedral in Néa Rómi. Reports from the Imperial Ministry of the Interior say 500 million people worldwide tuned in to watch the Wedding live, while Millions were seen at the Wedding itself. With the Wedding out of the way, a new legal decision will have to take place about the Royal Houses name, some are suggesting that Maria take her Husbands name but their Children take both Royal Names. The Imperial Palace hasn't given us a real answer but hinted that her Imperial Majesty had thought of this as a serious answer to this most serious Question.

Christianity arrived in the Tibet region during the time of the Tibetan Empire via Nestorianism, but most Tibetan Christians were first baptized by Catholic missionaries in the 19th Century.

Yerkalo Catholic Church in the village of Yerkalo in Kham Province was built in 1865 by French Jesuits.
Yerkalo's population is nearly 80% Roman Catholic.

The nation of Tibet is currently under the rule of the Gelugpa administration. Similarly to the Sakyapa dynasty, the Gelugpa dynasty is strictly Buddhist in nature leading to the theocratic governance of the Tibetan Plateau. It would be surprising to learn that although a near 90% of Tibet practices Tibetan [Tantric] Buddhism, also known as the Lama Religion, other religions exist and are defended by their faithful. Among these minority religions are Bön, the reported pre-Buddhist religion of the Plateau, the indigenous animism of the Hill Tribes, Sunni Islam, and Christianity.

The 1800s was a trivial time for Tibet and its Gelugpa dynasty; China was waging wars of conquest against the hostile Dzungars and Uyghurs and fighting European influence in its government, the French colonial empire was consolidating its presence in Indochina, and Tibet lost its influence in Gorkha, Ladakh, the Bhutanese fiefdoms, and Sikkim to the British and Mughal empires. Any outside influence was seen as a threat to the government and to the Tibetan culture, and that included European and Chinese missionaries.

Christianity's first presence in Tibet was not in the past 200 years. In actuality, it first arrived during the Hunnic conquests of the fractured Tibetan Empire in the 790s AD and the spread of the now-extinct Nestorianism of the Church of the East—a schismatic Christological doctrine that developed in the third and fourth centuries AD.

While Nestorianism in Tibet was far from being observed in practice nor was its presence confirmed, French and Portuguese Jesuits in the 1800s were careful to ensure comprehension of Christ's teachings in the Catholic catechism. Travelling to Eastern Tibet, the antipode to Nestorianism's entrance, through caravans and traveling via river from Southern China where they reached the valleys and foothills of Kham Province, missionaries culminated a minute local following.

In 1843 two French Catholic missionaries, Fr. Regis-Avaris Huc and Fr. Joseph Gabet, befriended each other while working in a mission in Mongolia. Audacity shook the two priests into undertaking an impossible task: evangelizing in the heart of Tibetan Buddhism, Lhasa. Leaving from Mongolia in a caravan accompanied by a Mongol convert who posed as a servant, the two missionaries traveled across the Chinese-Tibetan border in the unprotected border into the grasslands of Amdo Province.

Once arriving in Amdo the party was met by a group of passing lamas and were questioned under their suspicion. Tibet in the 19th Century was incredibly paranoid of Westerners and even the Han Chinese, so one can imagine how a group of two disguised Europeans and a Mongol servant must have greatly alarmed these Buddhist clergymen.

The lamas, however, calmly inquired on why they were in Amdo. The missionaries, fearing a brutal response, decided to reveal their intentions regardless. The missionaries understood that their chances of returning to China alive were very slim because of the hostile climate in Tibet towards outsiders; the spread of the Word of God through the Gospel was held more preciously to them than their own lives.

Tibetan Buddhism, according to the lamas, encouraged its followers to have ecumenical conversations on religion. The Christian missionaries and the Buddhist lamas had many debates while staying as guests in the local monastery. The missionaries, prudently zealous, were unchanged in their view of Buddhism: a paganistic corruption of the Nestorian Christianity that flourished under the legendary rule of Prester John over the Orient.

Christianity did not take hold in Amdo, so the French missionaries decided to continue with their journey. The hospitable lamas arranged an adequately arranged caravan and sent off the entourage south toward Lhasa in Ü-Tsang Province. Lhasa was marvelous to the Christian missionaries—the spiraling stupas and formidable fortresses and palaces, the bustling markets and temples filled with Buddhist pilgrims from across Central Asia and the Himalayan kingdoms.

Word spread of the European entourage in the Formidable City [Lhasa], and the Government Regent ordered their appearance at the Potala Palace. After being presented to the Regent, the Christians explained their mission as one purely of religious devotion rather than sedition and intelligence. The Regent was delighted by the Christians’ faith and authenticity and asked more of their plan of journeying to Lhasa.

The missionaries explained they wished to convert Tibet to Christianity and they believed if Lhasa was converted that the entire nation would follow suit. The Regent asked why the Europeans wished to convert the Tibetans to which he was answered by the missionaries proclaiming the Word of Christ's Gospel to be the only religious truth.

Amused and moved by their zealousness, the Regent offered a deal: If Christianity was found to be the true religion, he and all of Tibet would adopt it as their faith; if Buddhism was found to be the true religion, the missionaries would be encouraged to adopt Buddhism as their faith. The missionaries were so delighted by the Regent's reception that they accepted. The Regent advised the missionaries to learn the Tibetan language more fluently in order to explain their arguments and their religion before the debates began.

But before the debates were able to be had, the missionaries were expelled from Tibet after pressure from the reigning Dalai Lama. The missionaries returned to Macao and petitioned Rome to allow for a mission to be formally conducted in Tibet. It was approved by the Papacy.

The mission in Tibet was headed by the Jesuits and was concentrated in Kham Province, and in the capitol Lhasa dozens were converted. But following the expulsion of British diplomats in 1904 and a new wave of reactionary xenophobia, the Tibetan government and Buddhist clergy sponsored the murder of Tibetan converts to Christianity and the destruction of their places of worship. Christianity in Lhasa was essentially eradicated.

In the isolated foothills of Kham Province, Christianity flourished. The legacy of the Catholic mission planted many seeds of faith in the rural foothill villages where Catholics form a majority or plurality of the population in some rural villages and distinct communities in nearby towns. In Lhasa, recent immigration of Han Christians from neighboring China has established a foreign Zhonghua Christian presence in the capitol where an agreement with China allows Christians to worship legally.

It is not uncommon for Tibetan Christians to have parents that belong to either Catholicism or Buddhism. Evangelizing non-Buddhist faiths and proselytizing Buddhists is illegal in the Gelugpa State. Harsh discrimination is commonly displayed by Buddhists to Christians, so the Christian community is subject to disproportionate discrimination in society and if they are ethnically Chinese, violent crime. Virtually all ethnic Tibetan Christians belong to Catholicism, and specifically the Roman Rite. Tibetan Christians number at around 2,000 and Chinese Christian immigrants at 15,000.

Kansas Prescription Drug Case Sent 23 Defendants to Prison

KANSAS CITY, KAN. Separatist prosecutors have wrapped up the prosecution of a former Lenexa, Kan., doctor accused of diverting prescription painkillers to a network of users and distributors on the streets of the Kansas City metro area, K.S. Attorney General: Barry Grissom said. On January 17, the last defendant in the case was sentenced to prison.

Dr. James R. Bond, 56, now living in Park City, KS,., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and hydrocodone. In September, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison. The judge entered an order of forfeiture for $7.5 million, representing the proceeds of the crime.

On Tuesday, co-defendant Michael Zona, 39, Shawnee, Kan., was sentenced to 19 months in prison.

In Bond's plea, he admitted that the Drug Task Force began receiving reports in 2017 that he was selling oxycodone and hydrocodone prescriptions for cash. Bond's so-called patients reported paying cash for their prescriptions based on the number of pills they could receive. Many of the patients were referred to Perry Drug in Overland Park, Kan.

Investigators used informants and undercover agents to make purchases from Bond. They paid Bond a fee of $870 for an office visit for a prescription for 220 oxycodone tablets, and $1,400 for a prescription for 350 tablets. Bond required they pay him in cash.

In 2017, the Task Force obtained records from the Kansas Pharmacy’s prescription monitoring program that identified all prescriptions Bond had issued. They used the records to identify so-called patients who frequently visited the doctor and obtained prescriptions from him for oxycodone and hydrocodone.

This bust represents the first major victory for the Task Force and Grissom says it is "proof that the registry works" and "a major step in not only combatting drug abuse, but also drug shortages."
