The Great Argus Wars were a series of five directly related conflicts that spanned the time period of the late 19th Century and the early 20th Century, precisely from 1859 until 1918.
The Great Argus Wars were also related to other conflicts occurring in The Western Isles around the same time, leading historians to call this period of history as the Dark Century

The Five Great Argus Wars, the conflicts that composes of this time in history are as follows:

• The First Central Argus War of 1859-1871
• The Keveari Expedition of 1879 and 1880
• The Second Central Argus War of 1894-1901
• The Canal War of 1905
• The Third Central Argus War of 1914-1918

In this thread, discussions will be held on these five main conflicts, alongside other conflicts related to the Dark Century, and determine the course of these wars, regardless of if these conflicts are ever Roleplayed in the future.

If you want to be involved in any or all of these wars, just mention which ones and why your nation decided to fight in it. You may also discuss noteworthy engagements you've had with enemy armies if it suits your fancies.

• In mid-1859, during an anti-piracy expedition in the Southern Sea, the Dormill-Stiuraian Navy was intercepted by Syrusvka Squadron of the Magarati Realms Navy, citing a violation of the Argean Seas Treaty as their reason for doing so.

The Peace of Rio Pena

As the Second Central Argus War dragged into a standstill, the United Republics, with President Favre seeking to secure his reelection, sought peace with Menna Shuli and the Second Coalition in the late summer of 1900. By September, he had managed to get an agreement to sign peace with Menna Shuli by the 12th, and the Second Coalition by the 20th, meeting in Rio Pena and Santa Ana respectively. The terms were:

1. All Territories return to Status Quo Ante Bellum
2. Monetary Reperations regarding the Keverai Expedition renegotiated to 45% of the original bill.
3. The Parties of the Argean Seas Treaty shall agree to reconvene in no less than 2 years to renegotiate the Argean Seas Treaty.

Good thing it was actually in TGs. Anyways, here it is and the reasons behind why the war was fought is going to change in reference to the Great Argus Wars. And in case you wanted to know, unless there's something else you had planned, Tjiravik gained independence when the United Republics fell into civil war in 1954.

Unless you're the kind of guy who just wanted to keep the conflict going for profit, in which case I'll put you on the "losing" side of each conflict.

Which are; First Coalition in the First Central Argus War, Shèngméng in the Zhujing-Keveari Expedition, Alliance of Free Argus States in the Canal War, the Second Coalition in the Second Central Argus War, and the Third Coalition in the Imperialonian-Tianese War.

These are subject to change as we flesh this entire thing out, but these are what I have for now.

I have this just merely as a first thought, everything can be changed and it is only for the First- and Second General Argus War, I will write a vision on the Tianse-Imperialonian war later. Everything can be changed:

First Central Argus War

Great-Imperialonia, ruled by very popular (first 'Imperialonian-decent') Viceroy Melas, was not really interested in joining the war. Newly elected Prime-Minister Artista however, tried to get advantage of the war and secure the borders with Tianshan, regarding the western region Bhikkar, once and for all. Bhikkar is a Buddhist region with a reasonable amount of people who had sympathised with Tianshan, from which some even wanted an Anschluss. Prime-Minister Artista begged Viceroy Melas to send forces to attack Tianshan in the southwest, but he refused to be the aggressor.

In 1865 however, the first year of Artista's successor as prime-minister Langoln of the Labour Party, Tianshan decided to financially support a group of Bhikkarian secessionists and aiding them with weapons. As soon as this came to light, Viceroy Melas I mobilised his forces and moved them to the border of Tianshan. Tianshan however decided to back down as it was not worth to engage in a war with Great-Imperialonia, as it was far from sure they could even win the war, and if they would, there would only be little result but a passage way to Torom.

There was never a declaration of war between the nations, and thus Great-Imperialonia managed to stay neutral during the war.

Second Central Argus War

In 1893 Oliver Naun of Rhudor-Calendo crowned himself Viceroy after dissolving the parliament and installing his own regime. He saw his popularity rate go down by the day and decided it was time to take drastic measures. He decided to declare war with Tianshan and started to invade the coastal regions, all to unite Great-Imperialonia under his crown by fighting a common enemy.

A vigorous war erupted between the two nations, but after a year of fighting with a frontline in Tianshan not far from the border while making progress but too slow Oliver Naun was shot in Frosto. His successor, Vicereine Meredith I, decided to negotiate peace with Tianshan after her coronation, and Tianshan, who was already in war with other nations, agreed to sign peace on the condition she would agree with a status quo ante bellum. Meredith doubted but signed peace anyway, which lead to anger with the generals and military as they had fought a year for nothing and a lot of life's were lost. The rage, that existed after the declaration of peace would endure and be a factor for the Imperialonian-Tianese war.

I can guarantee that Polar Svalbard would have been involved in the Canal War. As a naval power of the time it would be in Polar Svalbard's best interests to keep the canal close to them in more, friendly, hands. Plus it is likely that this could have led to a better friendship between Polar Svalbard and Segentova leading Polar Svalbard to help them in future wars on Argus.
