[TWI-Only] [OOC] The Unraveling

IC Intro
Through the eyes of the young of this world, we see life getting more just as a result of this incident. Perspectives are everything in a world that is constantly changing and it is up to governments, individuals and business to make the most of the situation that is presented to them. A hack into the Keveraite banking system points to Garland Clegget Kruse, an international law firm. Additionally the hack subsequently turns into a leak, with many groups becoming implicated due to this scenario. Governments are not immune in an international world where communication is instant and simple. Despite the efforts of national governments to downplay and mitigate the scenario, the Unraveling becomes exactly what it could be: a strong wake up call to the world to not be complacent.
The world through the lens of the next generation is also viewed here. Through Chris, Arrisek and Sarah we are shown the true human condition of people in the Isles. The next generation is struggling, but not downhearted. The Unraveling brings the emotions of the rising generation to a boil, and there's no certainty to how it should be managed. Likewise, we receive an insight into the current generation - especially the ruling elite of the Isles... politicians, businessmen, wealthy individuals. It is truly a conflict between suited individuals and the next generation. The question now is who is going to come to the table to compromise first?
OOC Coordination
So, essentially, this is the Panama Papers all over again, but in TWI. Additionally, it will also uncover some incredibly illegal labour exploitation in Keverai by some large corporations. So, where can you fit in?
1. I need some more news agencies tobribeencourage Revire to go back into the Keverai's financial system
FNN from Ostehaar, CBC from Covonant and Arendai from Ostehaar
2. I need some people to do some extremely localised, covert operations in Keverai to uncover the sweatshops

A guide to the general events of the RP
Part One: Manipulate
- Following the loss of his Dad’s job due to a shrinking mining sector in Ainslie and the death of his sister (in The High Life RP), Chris Revire has become more introspective than he was before, and a worrier of the future. Media executives turn up to his house to ask for him to reflect on his experiences (The High Life RP) but instead plan to offer him a deal which ensures his safety and financial security for him and his family if he helps to hack into a Keveraite bank.
- Employees Arendai, CBC and First News Network from Ainslie, Covonant and Ostehaar make the journey to Highland Ridge. One person takes the RP post, hint hint your news company will be implicated to some degree in all this.
- This is where major characters - Business Executives, Keveran workers and news writers get introduced. This can also be a time where Ostehaar plants units under the false pretense of protecting Keverai. They’re actually investigating the Keveran manufacturing industry.
- Ze spies can be introduced here for this RP and beyond. They’ll be introduced over time so by Part Three starts the spies will be in place.
Part Two: Awaken
- Small leak to CBC of records; reveals mesderian law firm involvement
- Arendai and FNN release; gaelitic law firm involvement revealed
- Arendai explains why they couldn’t before - Ainslie censored it.
- FNN releases CSR abuses (ie sweatshops) run by large corporations just as Keverai denies everything
- Keverai increases military and police presence as protests begin, with CC Renaut blaming it on the Argus Conservatives
Part Three: Untethering
- President Justuva Susanto implicated
- Ainslie announces audit into large Ahnslen companies
- GCK suspended from international cases with an Ahnslen origin
Part Four: Uprising
- Samuderan protests begin
- Renaut faces vote of no confidence
- Random deaths start, (OOC: thanks to foreign spies)
OOC: Where political leaders (if any) get challenged - resign, kicked out or remain.
Interested in further suggestions, ideas etc. This is by no means the final product but rather an outline to run off - I'm happy to take this in many different directions. I want this RP to be somewhat flexible compared to THL
