I dunno how Ainslie will feel about this though, since it doesn't go through his Capitol.

Consider it done, the Camagra-Mandara/Ainslie-Verdon Circut now consists of the Arnton Spine and the Dinha-Rodetza-Camarga Corridor.

I still haven't written down the travel system (rail and road ) in Aruia, Ar'ksen the Leisenio Peninsula and the entire Luvtar gulf runs a ferry route that i need to make a map of. It would take me time to formulate.

Not the happiest about it... but there are a lot of mountain ranges so the only realistic way to get to it would be from the west or south. It also skips Hauton, my third largest city. Realistically it’d probably skip Rathane and Watarah since they aren’t that major of cities and instead come through arnton and mandara then follow the western coast after Anertah. It also skips the Aruian capital, A’rksen city and avoids the majority of the nation as well. Also, we will need to let Mandeka know about this soon so he can join in.

Huh, I thought I hit A'rksen City with the original. Even then, Ile-de-Avillon is also skipped over so I guess this can be simply explained by this map may or may not be representative of the full extent of any of the listed rail lines.

Good map, but do you think you could extend the red line or green line across Mandeka? I haven’t decided where my capital city will be, but my largest city Williamsburg is situated on the coast.

The big thing is that the Northwest Gael line (particularly the Launey-Veldzicht corridor) does not yet extend to Mandeka in the modern day. It would be an IC thing for D&S to extend the rail lines to the border and join with your rail lines.

As for the East Longitude Spine, that's a matter of you and Oste, where the line terminates in the north.

I was just kidding, but sure! Though Aruia-Samudera distance will be like 300km at the minimum, and Jorvvik will be farther. Would ferry be feasible?

That actually makes sense, since Mandeka isn’t as developed as the other nations it doesn’t really have the funds to build a full-scale railroad.

You can always do really dodgy stopovers in almost every south ainslie port...

Yeah but ferries may have different maximum ranges than those trade ships

Okay so here is the concept for the 80s economic crisis:

The Economic Crisis of the 80s
Known as The Gael Crash or later on the Aruian Fumble, was an economic crisis that began at the start of the 80s due to a main bank “Bank of Gael” in Gaels stocks crashing dramatically for unknown reasons, leading to many investors to cash out from Gael stock markets and immediate halt of using Gael currency for trade.
Currency value is decreased in all of Gael, affecting Roendavars main market investors, and later on leading to a complete lay off in many business sectors across Gael with the main Gael bank failing to hand out money for several days.
The main Gael bank is under an umbrella corporation called “Gael Finances” that sit in Aruia and has several bank companies across the TWI. after many lay offs across Gael, riots in Roendavar pressure from nations lead to a full investigation it is discovered that a complete mishandle by the ministry of finance and ministry of commerce in property led to the start extreme stock value crashing and leading to a complete economic crisis.

Out comes:
Roendovar riots start, leading Roendovar to a bordering socialist nation
Aruia: people completely mistrust the government's economic plans, and Aruia closes down the ministry of commerce and ministry of finance as a first act that begins a market rehabilitation project.
Ainslie:

Key notes prior:
Ostehaar already through the mid 80s suffer an economic crisis from being involved in two wars, with the additional aspect of a market crash and decrease in Gael currency value could have derailed Ostehaars economy even deeper to a recession.
Verdon in the early 80s enter a civil war, the economic crisis could be an additional fuel for the civil war with it ends siginaling a market recovery process in Verdon specifically.

affected banks:
Bank of Gael(All of Gael)
Bank Lidara (Aruia)
Lennester Bank (Ainslie)

List of businesses affected:

Ostehaar had an economic crisis in the mid 80's, mainly due to involvement in two wars and (read here for details). I'm all for incorporating it into this concept, if you have an idea how to do that...

How heavy was the economic struggle afterwards?
to a level that Ostehaar government needed loans, or businesses for that matter?

it could be the silver line, the mere fact that Ostehaar had their own financal struggle having a bank that exist in all of Gael play poorly with businesses making it drop can have a serious implication to the point of an entire market or government collapse.
Ostehaar can have it serious just as Roendavar had it, only from other side of the coin.

Either lone, recovering society from a war is enough to have an impact on the entire market.
So adding also a market crash would be a great way of having a governmental crisis in Ostehaar and maybe a period of recession or inflation.

Verdon enters civil war in 1982. Economic failure could both fuel the conflict and be perpetuated by it. Depending on how linked others decide to be to my economy, this could lead to rising food, clothing, timber, and energy costs in other nations. Could also lead to decreased foreign investment for fear of spillover violence.

Thoughts about Ainslie and the Gael Crash

In the 1980s, the only Prime Minister to ever be dismissed from his or her position by the Judicial Council of Ainslie gets kicked out over economic mismanagement. This is mainly over excessive and rapid deregulation, opening up Ainslie to the global economy very quickly - which is where this crash could come in. I’m thinking Bank of Gael would buy over Lennester Bank and cause it a whole lot of grief by scaring off investors. The overall deteriorating economic conditions would then translate to Ainslie due to its sudden vulnerability to global markets - whether that be a collapse in consumer confidence, a darkening in the economic outlook or investor uncertainty. This would very quickly destabilise the Ahnslen economy and the people of the nation would turn and point their finger at one particular person to blame for all of this. Joel Gisbourne, who would become the last conservative Prime Minister in Ainslie after being kicked out by the Judicial-General.

That’d lead to this Prime Minister being kicked out, paving the way for the first ACEGAD Government who would reinstate many regulations and put Ainslie back on track out of the recession. This would become one of the major events which helps prove the party’s economic credentials. I’m not too fussed about when in the 80s this happens, but it’ll probably need to happen in the 80s. Coming out of the recession, Lennester Bank would lose much of its accounts and marketshare in Ainslie as it is still owned by the same people who “caused the recession to be so bad”. These accounts would likely go to the national bank, Elebank and trust in ACEGAD would skyrocket as leaders in economic management.

Ainslie’s economy would instead recover off the back of increased output of agricultural, energy and timber goods due to the Verdonian civil war - this would be achieved through the “Multiple resorts plan” which came into force in the nation in the 1930s which significantly upgraded Ainslie’s capability to export. In addition to this, the relative political stability of Ainslie would attract foreign investment which would otherwise go to the warring Oster and Verdonian states.

Due to this, a restructuring of the economy (which was partially fulfilled through government intervention) would be completed by the late 90s, and a natural increase in demand for Verdon’s exports alongside a contraction of these industries in Ainslie would restore these now stabilised industries. This would also fuel the sentiment in Ainslie's primary industries that Verdonians are stealing their business in international markets.

EDIT: Lennester bank back in 1978 to 1979 would have a hostile take over. Then through that body they influenced the prime minister to deregulate to help them finalise the take over, which would ultimately give the Judicial-General grounds to dismiss on the basis of dangerous foreign intervention in democratic processes.
