Puertollano calls for an immediate council briefing:

The Bolivarian Republic of Puertollano calls for an immediate council briefing on the atrocities committed against the people of Benin City by the Germanic Armed Forces. Including the purposeful attack to trigger a chemical outbreak. This will require all current procedures to temporarily be put on hold.

Aye! The attack on Benin City lacked CSN recognition and was not CSN-sanctioned.

The ever silent Fregantese delegate couldn't hold himself any longer, and thus spoke:

"This is just pure cynicism! The Puertollanoan delegation is trying to pull up a toxic argumentation of 'whataboutism', actively trying to suppress the principal topic and enforce their ad hominem attacks by calling for another meeting during an ongoing meeting. This is unacceptable, the German involvement in Benin City must be talked at a later date, since it is impossible for anyone to be unbiased at this point. I would like to encourage the delegates to concentrate on the principal issue at hand: Il Desirido"

For the first time since Magella regained its sovereignty, the Magellan diplomat stood to speak.

"You refuse to approve a proposal that would allow for peace in the Caribbean—where your government decided to spread an isolated war by bombing and invading a rightful territory of the Italian Republic—because it does not benefit your nation. Your government refuses fair and just elections in an Italian territory because it knows they would result in the population, the primarily Italian population, voting to rejoin Italy. Your government refuses to pay reparations for the lives it ruined, for the people it killed, because that would be admitting Puertollano has conducted brutal, unnecessary military operations. And when it was obvious the proposal requiring such action would pass, you introduced another to draw attention away.

You claim to care about the Nigerian children suffering. And what of the Italian children on Il Desiderio? Do they not deserve attention? Or does their suffering not matter because it was at the hands of your nation?"

Maduro then turned to the Magellan diplomat.

“Puertollano’s most highest of priorities is to bring peace to the the Caribbean. If we did not want peace and wanted to continually militarily engage your European cronies, we wouldn’t have drafted the Caribbean Peace Accords. It is misguided to call us bloodthirsty, for it was not our soldiers that brought the war to South America - it was Austria. Our slight military operation in the Caribbean, against 1 dredging ship did not call for World War - 4, 5? Austria brought in its submarines to conduct operations against Puertollano in its own seas, an obvious call for escalation. And it was you, Magella, who invited the imperialist menace to the continent. You are 100% responsible for the human rights catastrophe. Again, Puertollano supports free and fair elections, and so should you. That’s why we are voting against a proposal to initiate a staged election. Why would we trust Italy, after they rigged their own referendum, to oversee a private election in the Federation of Nativist Islands? You cannot convince us to support such an article.

You have a serious problem here with getting your facts correct, Mr Ambassador. Do research before you parrot your European masters talking points again. We have given reparations to all citizens on the island who were killed, and all the citizens who were injured. In fact, I announced it right here in the Assembly! All military actions will cost lives, and we’ve been deeply remorseful about that fact. However, we will not listen to Austrian and German hypocrisy, when they attempt to lecture Puertollano about human rights!

Every second we spend here debating a fake election, another innocent child in Nigeria will die. You have their blood on your hands.”

"Mr. Maduro, how in the world did you just manage to get one correct statement in your argument?

Your priorities are not Carribean peace, if they were you wouldn't have ever ignited a war in the carribean to begin with.

You didn't draft the Carribean Peace Accords. In fact you just voted Nay to them.

No it was your soldiers who brought war to the Americas. We only left the European theatre out of response on the attack on the Il Desiderio.

While sure that operation did not call for world war 4, it wouldn't be world war 4 if your allies in the FSR wouldn't have invaded Magella and forced us to come to their defense.

And yes we operated in your own seas...welcome to warfare Puertollano, glad you are with us.

Also their isn't anything close to a human right catastrophe happening on the South American Continent, unless you count the poor civilians living under communism in Orostan.

Next, you make claims if Italy rigging a referendum without any proof.

Finally you make an accurate statement, yes you gave finds to the families on the Italian island, but now they need funds to rebuild their destroyed island.

Also that lecture came entirely from Magella, believe it or not, Magella is not a client state. Sure European countries are currently defending it from destruction. But that hardly makes them out puppet.

Finally, I think it's time you started doing some research of your own Mr. Maduro, since you liked telling that to the Magellan delegate so much."

"The acquisition of Il Desirido, and it's annexation, is by no means legal, nor recognized by the international community. It is, by law, still Italian territory, and the Italian government has the right to exercise a referendum under its own supervision.

In addition, you are accusing the belligerent and involved European nations of using the Magellan Republic as a puppet state. If our defensive actions can be interpreted as using puppet regimes, then it is natural to assume the Federation of Nativist Island as nothing more than a semi-autonomous region of Puertollano.

Lastly, the Nigerian issue is an eyesore. Many mistakes are made, and they must be debated on. But not now! And even if we are to judge the mistakes, why not start with recognizing the NSR as a sovereign entity?"

While the assembly was divided between the Europeans and South Americans debating over their own problems, Jessica Dinesen kept silent amidst the two sides of men bickering. Being just 23 years old she respected both sides argument but wanted no part in the squabling without the Australian Government asking her to talk. Grabbing a milkshake she went to the Japanese representative and exchanged greetings starting with her signature smile.

The Japanese Representative, the 56 year old Sugo Azo, stands up and straightens his tie before addressing the floor.
upon discussing the matter of the revision on the present resolution my nation votes to approve it. However, there are several other issues in this assembly hall that Japan wishes to be brought to the attention of the Council.

Firstly, in the three years since Japan has entered the international stage and joined the Council of Sovereign Nations we have seen much talk and little action. The council chamber seems to be more of a place where Europe and South America slander one another in hopes of trying to accomplish some unseen goal. This is a place of resolution, peace, and progress. If you wish to slander one another do it outside of these chambers so those of us who wish to resolve these issues can do so.

Secondly, Il Desiderio has been established to be a colonial government no matter which way you look at it. However, that does not mean that the citizens do not view themselves as French or Italian as those who dwell within territories like Puerto Rico still consider themselves citizens of the N.A.F. so attacking based on this claim of liberation from colonial overloads is a moot point. These people were under minimal military protection and were attacked with a set of weapons that were excessive for this sort of operation. Japan sees no reason why these damages should not be repaid in full. Japan would also like to note that yes, Magella did bring the Europeans into the conflict as they had a mutual defense pact with Rome, however, they were not the ones who committed the Humanitarian Crimes nor did they send the approval for Ballistic Attacks on the islands.

Third, I I wish to address the Nigerian Front. This advance has stalled to an unacceptable point and people are dying every day due to this orginzation's incompetence when it comes to joint military operations. Due to this and our low amount of public support for this conflict within Japan, the Japanese government has voted to withdraw the bulk of our forces with the exception with a garrison of 500 JSDF Soldiers.

Forth and lastly, I wish to address Japan's concerns about the state of the Council of Sovereign Nations. In the three years since Japan has rejoined the international community we have yet to see the effectiveness of the Organization. The Nigeria Campaign has been the highlight of this with almost every major power causing just as much destruction as the factions fighting in Nigeria. Further the use of Chemical Weapons and indiscriminate missile strikes by CSN Members during the operations further highlights that the members have no concern for the safety of the citizens of Nigeria. With this and the fact that this organization has yet to actually bring a peaceful resolution for a conflict, Japan has lost its faith in the ability of the Council to attain global peace without the Council Chamber devolving into a slandering session or launching failed operations and diplomacy. It is for this reason that Japan is requesting that the Council of Sovereign Nations be restructured to address diplomatic and peacekeeping. Should the Council fail to address this issue, Japan will be withdrawing from any further Diplomatic and Military Actions that this Council commences and will be be acting as an associate member. We no longer wish to be associated with a failed organization that is too busy with slandering its own members then protecting its people.

The Germanic Union calls for an immediate Council meeting

"Welcome esteemed delegates, as I'm sure you all know the Piertollano government has decided to suppress the voices of Il Desiderio. Which is in direct violation of the Carribean Peace Accords, which would call for CSN monitored elections for a new governor and a refrendum.

With this I would like to bring up a point the Orbanis government made not to long ago. For far to long the CSN hasn't acted as power as it could, I suggest we prove to the world that the CSN means buisness and its rulings are to be respected and recognized. Thus the GU proposes the 'Condemnation of Puertollano' "

Article 1-Every CSN nation will condemn Puertollano for going against international law

Article 2-All nations must reduce all petroleum imports from Puertollano by 10%

Article 3-All nations must reduce trade involving chemicals by 10%

Article 4-All nations must reduce raw material imports from Puertollano by 5%

Article 5-All Economic Aid must cease going into Puertollano immediately

Article 6-This Condemnation is ruled void and null as soon as Puertollano complys with the 'Carribean Peace Accords'

Aye:Germanic Union, URT
Nay:Puertollano, Magella

"Also on the agenda today is the Germanic Unions wish for a democratic and peaceful agreement to be forged for the ABC islands who were also taken by Puertollano and tossed into the Federation of nativist islands. With this we have a simple, basic proposal."

Article 1-CSN Peacekeepers will take over and occupy the islands and prepare them for Article 2

Article 2-In exactly 1 month after this proposal passes, a fully CSN monitored refrendum will take place allowing for 4 options

Option 1-Status quo inside Germanic Union

Option 2-more integration into the Germanic Union

Option 3-Independence as a member of the Federation of Nativist Islands

Option 4-Independence as a single, sovereign country.
