Socialist Nations have yet to band together effectively, not necessarily to fight capitalism or fascism, but to protect our own national interests, and borders. Due to our focusing on serving our people rather than funding our military like many capitalist and fascist nations, we may find ourselves outgunned by the militarily advanced corporatist war machines. This alliance aims to create a united military, economic and political tie between socialist nations, no matter how lenient or extreme they may be. We are all socialist in the end, and if we plan to keep this ideology alive from the rapid advances of fascism and capitalism, we must unify, or die out.

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND RULES
1. In order to join the alliance, you must have some sort of commitment to socialist philosophies. No fascists or extreme capitalists will be accepted
2. You are not required to take part in all types of warfare or economic situations. However you are required to contribute some type of force into the USNTO military that will be used as a peacekeeping force controlled by its leaders. Contributions considered are some type of funding or military aid/support. There will be no specific amount, however please do make a considerable fund, we are not planning to buy gum with the funding.
3. We do not tolerate excessive hate speech, verbal abuse, or bullying amongst fellow diplomats. If you do not like another nation's leader due to race, we cannot tolerate you here.
4. Political talk and discussion is encouraged and allowed on all levels and types of government.
5. Must have at 2 months of experience on NS

ELECTIONS AND LEADERSHIP
Elections will be held to make sure the alliance does not fall into the wrong hands. The following list goes from most powerful seats, to least powerful seats.
Overseer : As the founder, I will oversee all operations established by the ones below. I can remove one from power if they clearly decide to abuse it, or if they break the general rules as stated above. Overseer cannot be removed unless they resign. Other than that, I have no power. I am not the last one to contact if you have any issues within the alliance.
Prime Minister : As Prime Minister, you have most power within the political triangle. You can ask for war against a specific nation or group of nations to the entire alliance (which would be enacted through 65% majority vote) and supply peacekeeping forces. You can override actions such as the election of officials lower than president if you find they are unfit (Too much capitalist influence). Can accept projects submitted by fellow USNTO members such as import taxes, restrictions on nuclear weapons, etc. You can also remove nations who do not comply with the alliance, or are uncooperative up to the point where it hurts the alliance. Elected through majority vote, but removed by majority vote of 65%.
President : As President, you have the power to deny all actions accepted from the Prime Minister besides war and control over USNTO peacekeeping forces. however, your actions can be over ridden by, (besides denials which could be over ridden by 65% majority vote) , the Prime Minister. Despite this, you control foreign relations with other alliances including embassies, peace treaties and arms deals (Which can also be over ridden by Prime Minister or majority vote of 65%). You also help accept and oversee the alliance. Elected through majority vote.
Senator (5 seats) : As a senator you can approve submissions from USNTO nations to go to the prime minister. You, and your 4 other senators control internal diplomatic relations. This involves internal disputes, possible war or discontent and "marking" and "unmarking" nations (as described below). Peace keeping forces can be enacted through a senate vote of 3/5 to either nation. You also have the power to enact a shutdown that can only be assured by a 5/5 vote. This should be the last line of defense against corruption in the alliance. Shutdowns will halt all actions of the President and Prime Minister, and will force both to temporarily step down and allow the Overseer to remove or undo all issues ensured by the two officials. The Overseer must then hold a vote on what to keep and what not to keep from the old regime. Elected through majority vote.
Common Nation (everyone else) : as a CN, you are allowed to submit ideas, vote in election, run for office and speak your mind.
Belligerent Nation (Marked Nations) : as a BN, your rights will be restricted, but will be recognized as a member. You can end up in this category by committing to war between members, clear hate speech/abuse, and attempted corruption of the political system or more depending on the circumstances. Your votes are no longer recognized, as such your submissions, or desires from the alliance. You are allowed to still speak your mind, and still must contribute to USNTO peace keeping forces. Despite this, your contributions to peace keeping forces cannot be altered upon marking without consequence of removal. You can be unmarked once a senator decides you can come back to full participation
SIDE NOTE ON BELLIGERENT NATIONS : I cant stop you from joining RPs that I'm not the OP of. BN can join in RPs involving the USNTO and support it, but the USNTO will not officially support you.
